Lucky's burger in Brookhaven is wonderful. Oddly enough, I didn't care for the food served at the Roswell location so I was hesitant to try the one in Brookhaven and I am glad I did because this is now a monthly burger stop. I am a huge fan of their dog friendly patio. The patio has plenty of water bowls for your fur baby and they don't mind if they sit at the table. Lucky's has a $8 burger lunch deal. All of the burgers, including specialty burgers, are $8 during lunch and that includes a drink. You can't beat that! Lucky's is named after the owners dog so all of the burgers have fun dog themed names. They even serve a 4 ounce "dog friendly" burger that comes without a bun. My dog, Tybee, loves it! I always stick with the Memphis blood hound. 6 ounce burger with red onions, bbq sauce, cheddar cheese and candy bacon...I repeat, candy bacon! Throw in a side of tots with ranch dressing and I am a happy girl!

Full disclosure--this would probably have been better had I eaten my burger in the restaurant and not done takeout. As is, this was pretty average. Got the Memphis Blood Hound with fries and a root beer. Although I eat cheeseburgers 2-3 times per week, there's nothing about this burger (and definitely nothing about the fries) that would drive me to eat here a second time. However, I have to admit that the women working the bar and takeout counter were all very nice and grabbed my order lickety-split.

I always want to like Lucky's more. But I just don't. I think I might have eaten there for my last time this week. I however, am not sure if my husband would agree about that. Atmosphere/service: The best thing about Lucky's is the fact that they allow dogs on the patio. We love any spot that allows us to bring our pup with us, so that's what always draws us to Lucky's. Other than that it's nothing spectacular and kind of lacks character. We have always been satisfied with the service. However, one thing to note, this week when we were there, the patio was somewhat disgusting. I've never noticed that before though. Food: The food is fine in my opinion. Nothing life changing but not bad, either. It's basically just standard bar food. My husband does however love the burgers. I tend to agree with a lot of the other reviews that if you are going to claim to have good burgers the burgers should be amazing alone and not just because you have lots of fun toppings. The toppings are a plus and they definitely have some unique options to try.

I love the dog friendly patio! They supply water dishes throughout the patio. The restaurant's decor is really cute. There are photos of Lucky, the owners dog on the walls and the menu is very creative We ordered some burgers and they were delicious! Great place to go for a burger and chill out with your pooches.

Me want club sandwich. Me randomly pick Lucky's. Me met May, who's awesome as your server/bartender. So happy me did. Still in process of trying all (read:most) of the eating est in TB, I wanted something casual today;and I did have a specific craving for a club sandwich. Theirs is turkey, bacon, tom, lettuce, Swiss, mayo, all decked out in those lovely multiple layers of toasted bread. Huge. I ate half at lunch, and just ate the other before I walk into work at 5p. Delicious fries, too- thin and just crispy and salty enough- and while I got the regular version, I bet their parm tossed are good, too. Build your basic burger. Or go with one of the tasty-sounding ones on the menu. You can switch out any beef for turkey or fried ch9cken, no charge. Several sandwiches besides the club, including a turkey reuben with mozz and onion and a fried chicken that sounds like a monster, in a good way. Lots of side choices, including tots, sweet pot fries and more. V friendly staff and pleasantly casual environment. Super fam friendly on the weekend. Dogs allowed on the (nice) patio. When I don't want salad, gyro, or sushi, this will be my sandwich /burger place.

Dog friendly burger restaurant--I'm in! The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy a burger while your pooch enjoys meeting new friends and probably begging for a bite of your tasty Chihuahua or Bloodhound...burger that it. I love that the burgers are all named after a specific breed of dog, but what matters most is that the burgers are really tasty! The owner came over and introduced himself and pointed out the photos of his dog, Lucky, the inspiration for the restaurant. Don't worry, there's more than just burgers on the menu, but I have to admit, I usually come for the burgers. A great spot to watch sports, grab a beer, or spend quality time with your pup.

One of my new favorite places for a burger & brew. Dog friendly patio. Large bar area. Plenty tv's. Extensive burger menu, all named after dog breeds. 24 hr notice can get you a Grim Reaper challenge. 4lb burger. Good luck eating that.

This place is a mega contender among the best burger bars in ATL. I was blown away today by my Memphis Bloodhound Burger. Two words...CANDIED BACON! Mother of god, candied bacon!! Yeah, so the Memphis Bloodhound is topped with shredded cheddar cheese, marinated sautéed red onions, spicy BBQ sauce, and (ta-dum)...candied bacon. In true Troy fashion, I ordered it mid-rare and spiked it with jalapeños. I couldn't be happier. It was just the right amount of juicy and spicy and...candied bacon. The other things that make this place super cool...lots of big TVs surrounding the bar for the best games and a great selection of brews. I started out with a new brew (well, new to me). The Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan. Very reminiscent of New Castle. Lovely starter. After being full from that Bloodhound, I transitioned to the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy for a smooth finish after the Falcons unloaded a can of whoop ass on the Saints. Shout out to our bartender, Blake, who was awesome and friendly! Other coolness...they welcome your cute dogs to the patio. When you come in, their walls are adorned with awesome canvas photos of their mascot dog, Lucky. Lucky is the cutest Golden and he lives in Roswell, where the original Lucky's Burger & Brew stands. This is there second location. Good for them and damn good for me!

I can't believe I've been sleeping on this place. I remember when they were building it a few months ago and I was like "this isn't gonna last" but I was wrong. Came here with a group of people around 1 and we were seated immediately. The food was really good. They have a great selection and you can choose between beef, chicken or turkey for your burger. I opted for the fish sandwich and it was primo! I nibbled off my coworkers onion rings while I shoveled down my tater tots. For dessert we have the Carmel crumble cake and the brownie with ice cream. The cake didn't have any crumbles; more of a Carmel top with cheesecake and creamy filling. The brownie was okay; didn't taste fresh or homemade but it was piping hot. Actually all of their food is piping hot. I burned my tongue several times today.

We had a great lunch at a great price. I only eat salads for lunch but love turkey burgers. Guess what? You can order one of their salads & as an option order a burger with it. It was the best of both worlds, salads, burger & no bread. My husband ordered the Lucky 7 that was a smaller burger with choice of fries or cole slaw & for an extra buck a PBR. We enjoyed our lunch. If you want to dine with your dog, you can at Lucky' at their outdoor seating which is shaded.

I really wanted to like Lucky's. And, to be fair, I think I do...like Lucky's as a place to stop in, watch a game, hang out, have a drink or two. The service: friendly and attentive. Appearance to the establishment: clean and maintained. Food: very average. Typical bar food---which is not a bad thing....but it's not great either. Be outstanding at the Burger---if that's your thing...but the problem is: the burger is average and not outstanding. Would I return? Maybe. But not because of the burger.

Awesome burgers. Staff was very nice. Great to have a dog friendly spot. I don't recommend the fried artichokes unless you love heavy fried stuff.

So I went back to Lucky's for a Saturday lunch with Nonna. And actually it worked pretty well. The hamburger was good -- certainly better than Vortex in part because it came on a toasted bun made from challah. Loads of different cheeses and other topping as well as a selection of fries. The sweet potato fries were very good. The service was good and the there was basketball on the 25+ TVs which encircle the interior. A few observations: -- Lucky's was only 1/3 full at 12:30. But by the time we left at 1:30 people were streaming in. -- At least three sets of customers were eating outside (!) on their plastic enclosed but unheated pitch so they could eat with their dogs. -- There was a huge diversity of customers from parents with toddlers, to young women eating together, to middle aged couples and even enough white hairs that I didn't feel out of place. -- No handicapped parking spaces nearby. -- No wifi. It was pretty good for Nonna. There's lenity of room between the tables so she got around easily with her walker. Her eye hand coordination made it hard for her to eat the hamburger with her hands (it kept falling apart) so she ended up eating with knife and fork. And most importantly she loved to dessert. A hot out of the oven brownie with vanilla ice cream. "Next time," she said, "let's skip the hamburger and go straight to the dessert." There's obviously nothing wrong with her sweet tooth. I'll be back Monday night for the Oregon-OSU game. Without Nonna.

I've only ventured up to Brookhaven for a few things in the past year or so, but I had never made it up to the shopping center where Lucky's is located. Came in for lunch right after noon and it was pretty empty. I think a lot of people are still discovering that Lucky's opened a location ITP. I was greeted by a bit of an apathetic woman. She wasn't exactly thrilled in any sense and seemed a bit disinterested throughout our meal. Not a huge deal, but always just kind of a bummer when you feel like an inconvenience to the person bringing your food. Terribly awkward. Regardless, the food was great. We started out with an order of the kettle chips -- Thick-cut chips and bleu cheese sauce. The portion is also gigantic. Should you choose to order this amongst a table of 3-4, you won't need a side item with your meal. There are plenty for everyone. They are also delicious. The chips themselves are great and the bleu cheese is mild. I'd order these again for sure. I hadn't had a burger in quite some time, so I decided to go for the Georgia Dawg Pounder. I had seen this burger in pictures before and I really wanted to see the orb of pimiento cheese atop the burger itself. Yep. Just as I had pictured it. There it was. I wasn't sure what protocol was with this burger, so I just mashed the sucker with the top of the bun and went to town. The flavors were great and I especially appreciated the sesame bun. One of my favorites. I can definitely see why people like Lucky's. It's a perfect watering hole and cozy spot for cozy foods. I'd definitely pay these guys another visit.

After Canyons packed up and left, our group was left without a regular lunch burger spot. Kaleidoscope fits the beef burger craving, but I've wanted a black bean burger and tots forever... At some place closer than Vortex. We came for lunch on a Tuesday. We were quickly seated in a booth and our hostess was also our waitress. There seemed to be a lot of extra staff on hand so that was odd that she was pulling both positions. We ordered - I got the black bean burger with Swiss cheese, sautéed onions, guacamole, and chipotle mayo. I also got tots. I bypassed their $7.77 special and there seemed to be no lunch specials (I asked and was pointed to $7.77), although their website mentioned them. I should also note that the menu is slightly different than what's posted online - there are just a few more burgers on the restaurant menu than on the website. The wait was lengthy. We got there about 11:35 and were served around 12:20. Our waitress apologized for the wait, explaining a problem with the fryer and that they were usually speedy. Once served, I was ecstatic. I hungrily tore into the black bean burger and was so happy to find that it tasted amazing, even better than Canyon's. The burger seems house made and I give props to Lucky's for making a crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside (dry bean burgers are the worst!), and best of all, a flavorful well-spiced burger. Tots were perfect too, but I would have loved some Cajun spice on them. The Swiss and onions were perfect and the guac was amazing. I coukd eat a bowl of it no problem. It came on the side and it really was the perfect portion for the burger. The chipotle mayo was really good too. My colleagues deemed their cheddar burger and turkey burger fine, but my black bean burger the winner. Heyo. I will DEFINiTELY be back for it, and a $1.25 PBR to go with it too. It was a bit spendy at the end - $15 for a build-your-own-burger with tots and a tea, but man, my craving was filled perfectly. Service was, well, meh. The hostess/waitress thing with tons of waiters standing around was odd. One guy walked by and my pregnant colleague asked for a water refill and he looked at her like she was asking him to drop and give her 20 push-ups; just surly - no smile at all. The wait was way longer than I expected for a burger restaurant. I'm hoping these issues will improve with time since this is only week #2. I'm so glad they are occupying this long vacant space and with a menu that will please everyone and a dog-friendly patio, I'm sure Lucky's will enjoy success!

Pretty easy to find spot across from Costco in Town Brookhaven. You can try to find street parking right outside or go right next door into the parking garage. There's a good amount of seating inside - bar, table, and booth. Clean environment. Friendly staff. A few TVs. Pretty good crowd for a weeknight. The sandwich selection is diverse. I got a grilled chicken one w/ mozzarella and marinara. It was huge. I also got a side of parmesan parsley fries that were pretty good and also a ridiculously huge portion. They get points from me for having two kinds of hard cider on their bar menu as well.

Burger joints are everywhere in Atlanta. This one is just as good as any. If there weren't already so many then I'd be raving about the amazing burger I had. But we do have a lot of good burgers to choose from in the area. The thing that is special about this one is all the dog references. Convenient location if you are shopping at costco. Burgers are huge! Plenty to share with a friend.

Located in the midst of the Town Brookhaven rush, next door to LA Fitness and across the parking lot from Costco, this is a prime spot after a workout or grocery shopping. I came here after the gym to grab a beer and some snacks before heading to the rest of my Friday night festivities. I ordered a seasonal pumpkin beer (when will the pumpkin madness end?) Next, while my friend ordered sweet potato fries, which she claimed would be healthier than regular french fries, I ordered the fried pimento cheese bites. The jalapeño kick was amazing! Nothing more to say here since I didn't have a full meal. However I'll definitely be back due to convenience and potential!

Great selection of burgers and beer, nice patio, and dog friendly! We recently moved to Town Brookhaven and I wanted to like Lucky's a lot more than I did. The food is "Cisco truck" quality, with the exception of the actual burger or veggie burger patties. All of the sides (fries, tots, appetizers, buns, condiments) taste like they would at any hole in the wall bar. No original flavor or quality ingredients. Our service was mediocre - their food runners and servers did not communicate, which resulted in missed pieces of our orders, and the runner taking away our appetizer before we were even half done eating it. She ran away so fast we couldn't even flag her down or get her attention. Hopefully this was an anomaly and isn't their serving practice.

Lucky's is a pretty good option if you are looking for a burger. Although the menu is hard to follow since all of the names of the burgers are named after dogs you aren't exactly sure what you are ordering until your food comes. Service is decent as well as the food. Also Trivia on Wednesday's at 7:30.

I was excited to see Town Brookhaven finally find a replacement for the shut down Slack's Hoagies. I love burger spots so I was looking forward to trying Lucky's. First of all, if you are new to Town Brookhaven, you might have a problem finding this place. It is on the same side as LA Fitness, and across from the Costco. The layout of the place is nice. Plenty of big TVs so this would be a good spot for watching sports. We tried the buffalo wings and pimento cheese balls as apps. Both were solid and I highly recommend the pimento cheese. Lucky's has a good selection of beer also including about 8 different draft options (including Summer Shandy and Terrapin Hopsecutioner). Being in Brookhaven, the place is also family-friendly. The manager even told us they keep running out of high chairs because there are so many small kids that come in. But I was disappointed by the burger and fries. I ordered a specialty turkey burger which had boursin cheese, dijon mustard, and caramelized onions. The turkey just didn't taste fresh- it tasted like a frozen patty you would buy from Costco. I also upgraded to the parmesan parsley fries, but they were mediocre. Neither the burger nor fries compared to Farm Burger, for example. However, the menu has a bunch of options, and I like the atmosphere, so I'll definitely give them another chance.

It's good, nothing to brag about. My burger was undercooked and the water tasted weird. The Parmesan fries were ok. I would consider coming back to sit outside for a drink, but wouldn't make the drive for the food

Oops, My comments from June were posted to wrong Lucky's it seems. So here it goes: We had a fabulous first experience at Lucky's! Wings - excellent. Really COLD beer - excellent. Georgia Dawg & Memphis Blood Hound burgers - excellent. Brownie a la mode & Caramel crunch cake - excellent. Waitstaff & waitress Jenna - excellent. Not one seat without a perfect view of what's going on sports-wise on the TV screens. Nice dog-friendly patio with cool ambiance. Very, very happy you're here in Brookhaven! Welcome!!

Don't come here to watch football at night, they put up the chair and close early. Last call is around 9:30 However if you come in the afternoon, it's dog friendly. You can enjoy a good burger along with your pet on the patio

We dropped in on this place when we were looking for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. Great decision! It is very casual with a well stocked bar. The menu offers burgers, wings, a few sandwiches , soup and some salads. I picked the 7.77. Basically it is a smaller burger with a side for $7.77 and for an extra buck, you can get a PBR. Perfect! My companion went with a bloodhound burger (hope I got that right). It priced out at $11 with a side. It was twice as big as my burger with BBQ sauce, cheese etc. The burgers are quite good. Flavorful and not too greasy. The buns are buttered and grilled. We had sides of cole slaw (great stuff) and onion rings (some of the best I have had in a long time). We also had a fried mozzarella appetizer. It was actually homemade with a great breading. The marina was a tad thick. We have made several additional trips to Luckys. My East Cobb salad was a disappointment. Yeah yeah.. who gets a salad in a burger joint? It is a pass folks. But the wings got rave reviews from my companion and so did the fried pickles. A fried chicken sandwich was declared a "must eat". And the kettle chips with blue cheese sauce were quickly consumed. Bottom line: stick with the hearty stuff and skip the greens. The drinks here are quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised. The place also has a good beer selection. Lucky's isn't perfect. It was very crowded when we went on a Friday night and the food was a little disappointing...as if the kitchen was overwhelmed. Our chicken tenders were just okay and the accompanying fries did't taste fresh. I definitely prefer Sunday afternoons!

My husband and I came here randomly for dinner one night and I got an AWESOME black bean burger with a fried pimento chz ball and red pepper sauce on it. It was SO good, and my husband and liked his food, too. The ONLY thing that wasn't perfect was the service and it wasn't awful, just slow. There was a period where my husband and I both had empty drinks and were really thirsty. Overall, we had a great dinner and will def come back.

No idea what is going on with these reviews. Seems to be some trickery, some snark-ery as well. Thought my first review was deleted somehow but realized it was on some secondary listing for the Roswell location. Haha, after further review, I realized the other listing shows the Brookhaven location on the map but has the Roswell address. yelp.com/biz/luckys-burg… The first time I went, had the Bluetick burger. Good but I realized I'm not a huge fan of blue cheese on burgers. Overpowers the meat. Having said that, their blue cheese is good. If you like blue cheese on burgers, I think you will like this. Wife had the turkey club which was tasty--nice smokey flavor. Her house salad was good, nothing too wilted or discolored. Kids had hotdogs off the kid's menu which were pretty decent. And yes I tried them all because uh, I'm a good dad and don't want my kids eating bad stuff. Their fried pickles were excellent. Slices not spears. Some of the better ones I have had with a nice flavor and crunch and good ranch dressing. It is one of the better ranch dressings out there--nice savory flavor, not too salty. Not as good as Johnny Rockets but close. Fries are really tasty as well, nice crisp. Several beers on tap including Terrapin hopsecutioner so can't complain about that. Service was good, cordial. Kid's items come with drinks but it wasn't clear what drinks came with the meals. They got water but then they also wanted tea and lemonade and we were billed for those drinks in addition. Didn't bother to complain about it but they should make it more clear. So, we went back yesterday for dinner and after the family left, a friend of mine met me for trivia. Quite a large crowd for trivia which was disappointing because I was hoping we would at least win some money. Needless to say, too many good players against a party of 2 so we got killed. Last night I had the Retriever. Good stuff. Cooked well, nice medium, maybe a little more rare than that but actually how I like it. Nice texture and seasoning. The important thing is that the bun stands up well to the beef--it is just the right size and not a thin, mushy bun. Wife had the fried chicken sandwich which was good--not too dry and a nice crunch and flavor. Tater tots are good, always good to see them on a menu. Get it. My friend got the hot wings. Decent. Good flavor but not as good as Taco Mac Three Mile Island crispy wings. Also got the cheese dip and salsa which come with thick cut chips. Pretty good. There were a couple of either managers or owners wandering around checking on things. All in all, everything was fine. I have had 2 different servers who treated us well and brought out our food as we ordered. Obviously I can't vouch for others but we had no problems. Will definitely be back.

Used to love this place, but lately service has gone downhill. We typically go during the middle of the week and the place is not that busy but quality of service is just meh! I was closed to finishing my meal, before my cocktail came in. Server did not apologize one bit for this delay! Our servers neglect to refill our drinks Took our order and did not write it and then came back and asked us again, what we would like to have. Grab a paper and pen! It doesn't impress me when a server "memorize" my order.

After driving by many times, I finally visited Lucky's for the first time. I hadn't read or heard any reviews previously, and I absolutely loved it! The fact that they have a dog friendly patio was what initially drove me in. Not enough places around Atlanta allow dogs! The service was excellent! One of the owners was very friendly and came by many times to check on us and simply carry on a conversation. She even brought my dog treats. Our food came out quick and was delicious! I ordered the Chihuahua which came with green chilies, guac, and pepper jack cheese. It tasted similar to a burger I've had at Flip Burger, but twice the size! Overall, great experience and I will be back!

Been twice. Once with a team from work and once with the kids. This place is Johnny Rockets meets McDonalds with a good bar. Burgers are so-so, portions are huge, nothing special about the food. Beer selection is good and prices are reasonable. Service has been excellent on both of my visits.

I had high hopes given that I am a beer geek and their name gave me hopes this might be a great new craft beer spot. No such luck... The taps were all the bud, bud light, etc... Their monthly special featured beers were Sam Adams...blah. Now the burgers...unexciting and clearly pre made patties from Sysco or the like... I do love the dog friendly theme and patio. Finally, there was a great deal of confusion over who or server was... Or first server say with one of the cooks smirking and making comments about us in Spanish to each other instead of waiting on us... Another server ended up taking over and rescuing us when she was unable to get our order right and didn't seem to care. There are too many good places around for us to go back here.

Nice burger joint with cool little patio that's dog friendly. Burgers aren't out of this world fantastic but they've never disappointed before either. Location is convenient especially if you have other stops/errands in Town Brookhaven.

We have been twice to Lucky's Brookhaven location, and we were very pleased with our meals. I love the fact that Lucky's allows any burger to be beef, turkey, grilled chicken or black bean. My vegetarian friends were pleased with this flexibility as well. I had the Mixed Breed Grilled Chicken - topped with Buffalo sauce and yummy blue cheese. I upgraded to the Sweet Potato Fries, which were delicious. The sandwich was very tender and tasty, while still bringing just the right amount of sweet heat. My wife had the Retriever (beef burger) topped with sauteed mushrooms and melted swiss cheese, and the onion rings on the side. Her burger was cooked perfectly, a nice juicy medium. We ordered a few drinks and enjoyed the Braves game and other sports on the big screen TV's. I need to go back for Trivia on Wednesday nights, that sounds fun! All in all a very pleasant experience, good service, great food - I look forward to our next visit! Next time I'm trying the Bluetick Hound Turkey Burger!

First of all, the bring your dog concept is cute, but please wash your hands, staff when you bring out dog treats and then go carry my food. I observed a staff person bring doggie treats in bare hands and did not see them wash their hands. Back to the burgers, if your name is burger, have the best. These burgers are frozen, not fat and juicy or house ground for sure. It is like someone said lets name our place after our dog, throw up some photos of the dog, name our burgers to appeal to dog owners, so cute, but then they never focused on the food or did they even hire great burger people for the kitchen? In a restaurant I want great food, not just a cute heart tugging concept. The fries tasted like they were frozen, for sure not handcut. Once was too much, no thanks

  • Laura C.

If you're going to put the word "burger" in the name of your restaurant you should have a burger that can stand alone and be delicious without toppings. Lucky's does not. The (perfectly toasted, tasty, fresh) bun and toppings (caramelized onions and cheese) were excellent, but the burger itself was just .... bad. I cut a piece of the burger and tried it without any topping and it was tasteless with a tough (previously frozen??) texture. It just didn't look or taste like quality beef. I suspect the other Yelpers' raves about their burgers might actually be raves about the toppings ON the burgers. The sides were very good (fries, cole slaw and a kids' fresh fruit bowl), but the lettuce, tomato and pickles served with the burger had clearly seen better days. Mushy, over-ripe thin slice of tomato on a wilty piece of lettuce with two slices of soft pickles. The kids' mac and cheese was very good and seemed "homemade". The kids' grilled cheese was about one second shy of being burnt on the outside yet the cheese was cold and unmelted. I know kids usually don't care about such details, but a cook should and judging by the amount of families there the owner REALLY should. The server was very, very inexperienced and knew nothing about the menu, beer selections or customer service. She was nice, but useless. I guess their schtick is the whole "bring your dog to dinner" thing so if that's what you're in to then go for it, but do not go there for a great burger or stellar service.

Always willing to give a new business the benefit of the doubt but... Well the first time, my husband & I dined in shortly after they opened at the end of June. I ordered the Bluetick Hound and he ordered the Retriever - both beef burgers. They brought him a chicken sandwich. We decided not to make a fuss & eat what we were served. That same visit, the waitress, although friendly, saw that we had our puppy with us on the patio & decided to tell us a story about having to euthanize her dog. Seriously... not appropriate on so many levels. In any case, a few days later, we decided to give them another chance. This time, we had friends over & placed a carryout order. Although we called ahead 25 minutes, they did not put our order on until we arrived to pick it up. We ended up standing around waiting for at least another 30 minutes. But the nail in the coffin? We ordered 4 burgers. When we brought them home - 2 out of 4 had HAIRS in them!!! Needless to say, we won't be back. Our 2 pieces of advice: More Training and Hair Nets!

My wife and I live a leisurely five minute walk from Lucky's. We're happy to have them in the neighborhood. The service is even better than the food. Everyone is so friendly. I'm so glad they are in the neighborhood. We are dedicated regulars. We like the food and the service. Thirteen big screen TV's and they are happy to change the channels by request. Almost wish we had a dog so we could bring it along for the dog friendly atmosphere.

We came tp Luckys while we were in town for a football game. The food and service is great! This is a great place to grab a burger and a beer! I definitely recommend the Georgia Dawg Pounder.

*WARNING for GF people* My husband and I had been dying to try this place and when we went we asked the waitress right away if they had gluten free buns, she went back to the kitchen and asked then came back and said YES! We excitedly ordered our food but when it arrived I could tell the buns were not GF. After talking to the manager I found out that they do NOT have GF buns and they lied to us about it. They took the burgers off our bill but still charged us for the 3 drinks we had. It was incredibly frustrating to sit and watch my children eat and not be able to enjoy a meal myself. Be warned if you are GF this is NOT a safe place to eat, the fact that they lied and served us food they knew could be harmful is very frightening.

Lucky for them we had a nice server. Come here if you live next door and just happen to want something to kill your hunger pains while walking your dog. If the word BURGER is in your name...you should have some killer BURGERS to offer. If not, at least a GREAT burger....I love burgers. Their burger was below fair. I've had better at 5-guys. The fries were probably frozen earlier and didnt do well under the hot light. It's clear that the no one in the back was making the burgers. I'm quite sure they come already premade -- kinda like at mcdonalds...they just put them on the grill and add some heat to them. The lady next to me enjoyed her salad, while reading a book and her pooched played quietly at her feet....but a SALAD at a burger place? That says a lot right there. Nice location...which they were better, I really do.

I live next door to this place and it only seems busy on Friday and Saturday night. They are drastically understaffed and the bar tender is ridiculously rude. I understand being busy but don't be abrupt and crass in your actions. Stay away on the weekends...the middle of the week when it's not so busy is better.

We went today bc we wanted a casual spot that we could bring our dog and watch football. We were really impressed, and plan to come back. I had a black bean burger with guacamole, green peppers, and cheese.... so good! They also have a great draft beer selection. The staff was on top of it and super friendly. We will be back!

Burgers are solid and there's a great variety of them. Their appetizers are great as well. Ice, cold PBR draft for $1.50. Great beer selection if you're a beer snob. My only complaint is they need to overhaul their wings. More sauce on them and more variety. The wings are average at best at this point. Oh and the service is well above average. Good fit for Town Brookhaven.

Decent place for lunch. Not too crowded and the food is good. Who doesn't like something fried? Certainly not me. The fired pimento cheese balls wee fantastic. Also had the Alabama Yard Bird sandwich -- delicious.

Location: Lucky's is Iocated in Town Brookhaven. Again, love where it's at and love that there is plenty of parking. Atmosphere: We went here because they allow dogs and since I assume dogs are only allowed on the patio, that's where we sat. The patio is enclosed and did have heaters. Perfect for Georgia's weather, when it can't decide if it wants to be cold or hot :) I never ventured inside but from my vantage, it looked to have a lot of high tops and a large-long-lookin bar. We could hear music outside which was fine. Kinda wonder if it would be good to have tvs on the outside too. Oh, this is just a personal side note, but didn't like the chairs...the back is too far back for me and uncomfortable. If the seat leans back that far, I feel like the table needs to have some bar where I can rest my feet. I'm serious, but it could just be short people problems. Food/Drink: We were a party of three and somehow ordered a lot of food. We started with the homemade mozzarella sticks and an order of wings. The mozzarella sticks were ah-mazing!! Probably the best I've ever had. They were homemade so they're not you're typical cheese sticks and that's a great thing! The wings were small but had good flavor. I ordered the Georgia Dawg Pound burger because it sounded intriguing to me, and I'm glad I tried it. It was interesting, different, and good. The Burger was topped with pimento cheese ball and red pepper jelly. It also comes with mayonnaise but I left that off because I really didn't need to have a heart attack this evening. And I don't know if the mayo was necessary really. Husband ordered the burger with sauerkraut and the thousand island dressing and said it was good. He wasnt super fired up about it though. Fries were good. Onion rings were good but a little too greasy for me. The onion rings are thin and at first I thought I'd like that more, but I'm convinced thin means more pieces, more pieces means more batter, and more batter means more grease. It did have a taste taste to it, though, and the white BBQ sauce it comes with is delicious! We also ordered the salted caramel crunch cake for dessert and that was delicious! It was like a pound cake covered with salted caramel. They have a nice beer selection. And their Bloody Marys were not that good. Service: Our waiter was really good and attentive, especially in the beginning. When the crowds picked up, it took awhile for us to get our checks, but that's alright. He was also really accommodating with turning on the heaters on the patio and making sure the music was at an appropriate volume. I feel like a lot of people huff and puff over menial tasks like those. Another worker there, I think the owner, (why, I don't know) was nice and moved around tables to make more room for the people and pups and also saw one heater wasn't on, so he made sure to fix that problem. Overall a good experience. Would go back, especially when it's warmer, especially with our pup! :)

I have to say this is one of the friendliest places in Brookhaven! Pete is awesome-personable and welcoming. The burger I had was tender, flavorful and an unexpected surprise. Take your time and read over the menu-you will end up wanting all the burgers (like I did!)!! I can't wait to come back and try something new-

My wife and I had a very good experience here. The owner seated us and we chatted about moving to Atlanta. The waiter was also very friendly. The burgers were really good as was the beer. The fried pickle appetizer was better than I expected too. Give this place a try if you want a burger or a beer or both.

Great service, atmosphere, and food. I took my 3 young kids here and had a great time. The queso appetizer was delicious as was my burger. The manager, Pete, was extremely nice. I plan to make this a regular stop in BH.

So my family and I live really close to the Brookhaven restaurant and shopping area and two days ago was our first experience at Lucky's! First of all it was a fabulous experience and the food and service were stellar! It was pretty busy and my husband and 2 kids(4&7) had a fabulous time! I was impressed by the speedy service because it was busy and our server and hostess were very on top of things;)) when we ordered we got our food in a timely manner and we were all blown away by the juicy burgers, refreshing drinks, and incredible appetizers and children's choices as well as a variety of different AMAZING burgers! We got the check and were very happy with the number at the bottom and my husband was happy to take our family back for another delicious meal! I HIGHLY suggest going to any Luckys but I can tell you Brookhaven the new one is pretty fabulous and I know we are not the only ones who will come back! Thanks Luckys or a great experience
