My department has been ordering takeout almost every Monday from Golden Buddha for the last year. Today they had the nerve to attempt to ADD 10% to the bill because our order was over $200.00. WHAT? Thank you very little. We will be ordering from another of the MANY chinese establishments in Buckhead from now on.

I work right around the corner on Piedmont from Golden Buddha. I love this place for lunch. Have not tried dinner here yet. The restaurant is clean and the decor is pretty nice. In the back, you can sit by the window and look out to the oriental garden. I was surprised by the amount of food you get during lunch. You start off with soup and salad. I tried their chicken with chinese vegetables and it was so delicious. The taste was great and the meat quality was even better. Their Mongolian beef is really good as well. They also deliver and I actually had them deliver last week to our office. My co-workers loved the food and quick service. Try it...you won't be sorry .......

I have been here in the past.; several times to be exact. I thought it was s good place for sit-down chinese. The last time I went there I wasn't pleased with my food. My girlfriend liked hers. We went yesterday afternoon. The Koi pond is very nice and the building is nice but I felt as thought they had lost it. I will not go back. The food was lak-luster. Salad wilty, dressing had been sitting around, food was just medium. Girlfriend ordered the sea-bass and it looked questionable to me. She later said it was a little off. Unfortunately Lee's has slipped off their previous pedestal.

After being in the office for 5 minutes, Gretchen swung by my desk and asked me to go to lunch with her. After arguing about where to go for a bit, we settled on a Chinese restaurant just up the road in Sandy Springs. After pulling into the empty parking lot, we realized the place had closed (I hadn't been there in probably 6 years), and switched to Golden Buddha. The sign out front said "voted best Chinese", and I wondered aloud "by whom?" This was my first visit to Golden Buddha, and upon entering we were asked "Chinese or Japanese?" While I was busy suppressing the urge to lift my shirt and say "look at these", Gretchen said Chinese. We were seated a row back from the giant windows overlooking the sweet koi pond. The interior is much more "upscale" than I am used to in a Chinese restaurant; I'm used to a standard restaurant interior. Gretchen and I differ on who was sitting across from us, I say it was 3 gays and their hag, she said it was the parents, the son and the son's boyfriend. In any event, one of them was wearing a fantabulous shirt. We ordered our food, and out came the salads (which I don't eat), and soup. I opted for the Won-Ton, which was even saltier than I'm used to from my usual place, but it was good nonetheless. Included were the crunchy noodle things, but they were the round ones, while I prefer the flat ones. It's a personal preference, and there wasn't anything wrong with the noddles. We waited what seemed like forever for our entrees to come out. While we waited, we grew to hate one guy at a nearby table who was at a business lunch talking with food in his mouth (even on the phone), and looking out at the koi pond saying "that's some good fishin'". The table next to us (the fabulous shirt party) had turned over, and the new residents ordered well after us but got their food first. Gretchen speculated this was because I hadn't eaten my salad. Eventually, though, our food came out. I went with my standard: beef with Chinese vegetables. I was happy to see bamboo shoots, my favorite part! The sauce was good and thick, just how I like 'em. I mean it. I picked out only the unidentifiable cabbage-like items, and ate every bit of the rest. Overall, the food wasn't anything noteworthy; it was just standard Chinese food. I still don't know who voted them "best Chinese food." Perhaps it was the Society of Mediocrity. The good was good enough for me to go back for lunch since it's relatively close to the office, but I wouldn't make a special trip from home.

Lee's Golden Buddha is appetizing Chinese food that is good for lunch. You can get in and out in less than an hour plus you'll be full for the rest of the day. Lunch specials are served with salad, soup, fortune cookies and of course the entree. From the moment we ordered each course was served promptly. I remember Golden Buddha with the Asian garden and stream with the over-sized goldfish being one of my first impressions when I moved to Atlanta about 10 years ago. I very quickly learned that not all Asian restaurants have quite as beautiful interiors. This one is a wonderful location for a date. Often when I am in this area of town for work, this is the first place I want to go eat. The food here is pretty basic as far as taste, but they serve good size servings and their service here has always good for me.

had lunch here with my mom. what can i say that hasn't already been said? yes, the setting is rather serene, pretty koi pond, dual sides (1/2 chinese, 1/2 japanese)....we had chinese, which was sorta meh...but, not horrific. if someone wanted to come back, i wouldn't protest, but don't come here looking for a buford hwy fix (obviously). so, what can you get? fast lunch, with a salad, soup and a pretty good sized portion of whatever americanized lunch special suits your fancy. the salad is iceberg with a few pieces of cucumber and carrot, and a tasty carrot/ginger dressing. we had hot and sour (and somewhat gelatinous) soup and mee goreng....which had tons of egg and tofu. a good thing in my book. the flavor was decent...and it was smoking hot, fresh out of the wok(?). so....not anything to get excited about, but not bad either.

Solid chinese food with speedy delivery. They say 30-45 minutes, but I swear sometimes it comes in 10. Huge plus is that they are open late, which is very convenient when I get home late from my day. They are open to altering dish ingredients to make exactly what you want, especially for the health conscious like me. They are the best I've found in the area!

Reasonably tasty food, good service. If you are in the Buckhead area, you can also order for delivery out from this place and you'll get it with 20 minutes (in fact, they seem to have the fastest take out in my area). They also serve Japanese food as well, and for a price, they're alright. I believe they can do hibachi style stuff as well (I usually don't eat there though - just delivery).

I had no idea where to get Chinese delivered so I turned to yelp to search in the Buckhead area. I just went off the other reviewer's comments, so I didn't have a menu. I ordered my staple, Sesame Chicken. It wasn't spicy like some are - just the way I like it. And the delivery was pretty fast. At my door in less than 20 minutes. The food was pretty good, too.
