I'm staying in Atlanta for some business and am shacked up in my hotel room, with little time to get out. I love Pizza. The hotel provided a list of local places to eat and Harry's was listed. In a week I've ordered three pizzas from them, all delivered. Every time the pizza was delivered in a timely matter and it is very good. The crust is just right, the sauce is fine, and the prices are decent. A large two topping delivered is running me about 15 and change plus tip. This is the kind of pizza that you eat the whole slice, not just the "good" parts and throw out the crusts. The guy who answers the phone is always cool and very laid back, he hasn't put me on hold or acted like they are in a big rush or anything. Good thing I am leaving Atlanta soon or else I'd be eating this pizza even more often.

This place is mediocre at best. If you're in a pinch, it's not terrible. But it's not my top choice. The crust is thicker than I like (I prefer NY style) and the cheese is not the best quality. I think there are better places in the area. (See my other reviews.)

Amazing food - especially jerk chicken salad! This is a great place to go after work to relax and have dinner-

I didn't care for the pizza. We got a medium which I guess for some reason is hard to make it taste like a ny style pizza. The crust was so thick. The sauce tasted kinda cheap. Good quick service. Reasonable prices.

I go back and forth with my feelings here but really I can't stay away. I like the pizza I love the sandwiches and the fries always hit the spot. Sure sometimes they don't offer slices but I guess I'll live. This is a great place for lunch or dinner. I don't recommend coming to watch a big game because there are not that many tvs. If you are unsure what to get. I recommend the jerk chicken sub. The 2 slice deal is always good. Beer is cheap, seriously cheap!

Solid neighborhood pizza joint. I frequently get a couple of slices and a beer. I have always enjoyed the food.

Amazing! We got the chicken Parmesan sub and mild chicken wings and they were both SO GOOD!

I've probably been coming to Harry's twice a month for over a year now. it really is some of the best NY style Pizza I've had in Atlanta. Their toppings are all really good and taste fresh. If you want to go big, get the Meat Lovers. It's everything. They do serve pizza by the slice, but if you order too late at night, they may be out of single slices. The calzones aren't bad, but not great either. The few times I've had the calzone, I feel it could have used more filling. There was a lot of bites where it was just dough. The marinara sauce on the side isn't anything special either; I've definitely had better. I've had the cheesesteak a couple of times and it's actually fairly decent. It's not so good that I'm craving it all the time, but I do get it every once in a while. Their wings are also really good. They aren't too small or freakishly big. Each order of wings comes with fries and celery. The fries are the crinkly kind and not too bad. Really good deal for the price. The Butter and Parmesan Pretzels are sooo good. They are freshly made, brushed with butter, and sprinkled with cheese. I couldn't recommend this enough. The garlic bread appetizer is a 12" loaf and also really good. The draft beer is CHEAP! I'm talking $2-3 for a 16oz. Making it a great place to just hang out and watch some Football or enjoy their Thursday night Trivia. Though I really wish on Sunday's they'd have the volume on for at least the Falcon's game.

These hole-in-the-wall places are one of my most fave places to be right about now, and Harry's Pizza & Subs was just one of those places that I almost passed up on ... thank goodness I did not because we are pretty pumped about this discovery... Pizza is thin and NY style - LOVE IT! Big flimsy fold-able slices of yummy pizza. Fresh and hand tossed - I watched the guy make it :) We also had the hot wings, and it is a regular (vinegar-based?) sauce, bleu cheese, a couple of celery sticks, and your regular crinkly fries - not the best, but it is reminiscent of my old college days, and for that, I am thankful ... and the price isnt all that bad either ... they have the baker's dozen= 13 wings for 10 bucks. Brooklyn Beer was THE BOMB. I love it - you gotta try it. It was only 3 bucks for the 16oz draft ... YAY! and other beers are also priced very well ... I mean, where in this area can you find 3 bucks for a glass of specialty beer? NOWHERE. Now, the ambiance, again, may remind you of hole in wall establishment in your college days. There is one humble flat screen near the register, and another smaller, older tv on the other corner. But, I definitely truly enjoyed our visit here. Beer are priced well. Pizza cooked right paired with ambiance that offers a feeling that I thought was long gone - college days :) And oh, they said they have no delivery fees? hmmm....

Went there after seeing the pics on yelp. We got a slice each with wings. The wings were great. Nice crispness to them. I ordered all flats and got a mixture. The gentleman simply replaced the drums and apologized for the mistake. The pizza was thin and cheesy just how I like it. The crust was disappointing. It may have been undercooked or over rolled allowing the sauce to come through. I would go again if I'm in the area for the wings.

  • Ted D.

I loved the NY style pizza here. The beers were also priced well. It definitely felt like a pizza parlor from a nondescript college town but I don't mind that. The staff was friendly and food came out quickly. The wings and fries were not my favorite. I normally order them "hot" I did not care for the sauce they used. If you like wings I would recommend you stick with a wing place there are a ton of them. The fries are the crinkle cut ones but they were over cooked. Overall, I will return for the pizza and perhaps try a sub someday. If you order a pizza you will not be disappointed!

Seeing Harry's stamped with 3.5 stars is like a scissor kick straight to my heart. It's a travesty. Maybe it's slightly divey in a family friendly sense and not a gourmet, brick oven, perfect-crunch, "I can't pronounce the name of that pizza" place, but it's still consistently damn good. And cheap beers. 3.5? Get outta here with that.

The food is pretty good (I've tried the mozzarella sticks and the super white pizza), but the service was sub-par. Even with only a few customers in the restaurant around lunch, I was still treated slightly rudely by the women at the front desk. While she was speaking to 2 men sitting down, she took her time to acknowledge me. When she finally did, she was abrupt and seemed annoyed. Overall I will probably not be coming back.

The pizza here is ok. It's no New York pizza (I'm a born and raised New Yorker). It's better then dominos or Pizza Hut but it's not great

My employer is just down the street from here, so we eat a lot of Harry's pizza in the office for catered meetings and such. Their pizza is actually very good, worlds better than the papa johns my last employer would bring in sometimes. Well, today was the first time me and some coworkers went to try out the actual restaurant. The first impression I got was that it was larger inside than the exterior would make you believe. They had a lot of selection on their menu, and the prices were reasonable. We placed our order, and well, thats where the trouble began. It was a pretty busy lunch rush, but it took a full THIRTY-THREE MINUTES for us to get our food. Three of us ordered slices, one got a calzone and one got a sandwich. Then when our food finally did arrive, two of the orders were wrong! If you're going to be slow as molasses, at least be accurate! My coworker who got the wrong sandwich just opted for a refund and ended up eating somewhere else. Really disappointing experience overall. We'll all gladly eat Harry's Pizza when its brought into the office, but I can't imagine any of us is going to visit the restaurant again.

I've been to a lot of pizza joints in ATL but Harry's continues to be my favorite. The place is a dive - dark and dingy inside, but the pizza is hands-down the best in Atlanta. Great crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese - fantastic! Sadly, Harry passed away a few years ago. He was always a highlight for me and my friends. Fortunately, the best pizza in town lives on!

Loved it! we enjoyed dinner here on an overnight stay at the Marriott across the street. we ordered a large half Canarsie Killer and Can't Beat the Meat. Both were great. I love a good thin crust and this was darn near perfect. It was chewy but not doughy. The toppings on both were flavorful and well balanced. I also had the Greek side salad; it was fresh and the dressing was really delicious. I can't wait to try other selections.

I'm a native Georgian and haven't been to New York yet, so I understand that I am not in any way an authority on pizza, pasta, parallel parking, or tiny apartments. But if you can stand to take advice from a southern pecan; and you like thin crust done just right; and you like peperoni; and you like just the right amount of grease (don't wipe it off) then you will like Harry's pizza

  • Leanne B.

Got pizza delivered from Harry's last night for the first time--so yum! The pizza itself reminded me of home (Philly), and the service was super quick. They said 30-45 minutes and it was more like 20. The pizza was crazy hot and delicious. We're hooked for sure.

  • Christopher B.

I just moved to some apartments VERY close to this (can i say 200 yds from my door) and I am so excited that there's a good pizza place in the vicinity. So far I've had the supreme (excellent, but the excessive ingredients made the crust soggy, like it always does with over topped pizzas like supremes) and the Hawaiian which was superb. The Greek salad is also very good and comes with a delicious Caesar-y dressing. Apparently there's trivia and bar poker as well, with a league jackpot in the trivia of 5k, so that's worth looking into if you're inclined towards knowledge of the trivial. No liquor, but a decent selection of bottles (~40) and 6-8 on tap. The prices are moderate, which is very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the atmosphere is... divey? If you're in the area, this is definitely a place to check out for lunch or after work pizza and beer.

    (4)
  • Jessica O.

It's nothing special inside, a bar atmosphere with pizza. The service/kitchen is WAY too slow, and this is the one thing that prevents us from going there more. We like the wings and the pizza, but the slow service deters us. They do have a pretty large menu.

The best pizza in Atlanta. Clear and simple the crust is the best! Usual is medium pizza with onions spinach and bacon and large Greek salad.... Thank me later

If you're looking for a slice of greasy goodness, this is your place. You can get two slices at lunch and you will be full and happy. The slices are huge. I hear the subs are great, but I haven't tried them. I've been coming here for years with family and will continue coming now that I work just a few minutes away.

I love this place. I come here several times a month for some really good pizza done just right. I'm from NJ so I like my pizza NY style and coming here reminds me of finding the perfect slice of pizza at the tiniest grungiest pizza joint after a long night of clubbing. Those chocolate chip cookies they sell at the counter are delish. Make sure you ask them to heat it up for you before you eat it.

  • David P.

The place is a shithole inside, but the pizza and pretzles are great and that's all that matters to me! I always get the same thing . . . large pizza with spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Be sure to order yours exrta thin and extra crispy. It's not the best pizza in Atlanta, but it's certainly the best in the area.

  • Yuly M.

Gonna give this one 3 stars bc it cured my hangover BIG time. The pizza was really thin not too much to my liking but seeing how the owner was involved and was really nice and cared about what we thought of the food it's getting extra stars. Might give it another chance if in da area.

They have great draft beer prices and their pizza is incredible! I recommend the meatball and spinach pizza or chicken pesto pizza. Their subs and wings are always good too. Overall a great neighborhood Italian pizza place with friendly owners and staff. Thursday trivia nights are always a lot of fun and the place fills up quickly!

I've been to Harry's a few times and so far I'm a fan. The place is kind of small with a college town eatery feel to it. There seems to be a second floor for extra seating but I've never seen anyone use it. So far I've only tried the pizza and it's pretty good. I've never been to New York so I can't judge on how authentic it is to New York style pizza but I like it. Service can be a little slow but it's usually only two people working at a time that I can see.

Food was decent, but I'm not looking for great when I walk into a place like this. The lunch special is a slice of Pizza, 6 wings and a drink for $7.99. My Wife and I ordered that each with an order of garlic knots. It's one of those place where you sit down and display a number at your table, then they bring the order out to you. We both got our slice and wings, but no garlic knots. After 10 minutes had passed, with no knots still, my wife flags down a worker who was bussing tables to ask about the knots. the exchange went exactly like so.... Excuse me, we ordered some garlic knots with our order but they have not arrived yet. As she is saying this, another worker brings the knots out and places them on our table. He replies in the most condescending tone, WOW, I"M SOOOO GLAD I was able to witness your telepathic ability to make those knots appear at your table. I guess NOW you can go back to being your BUBBLY SELF!!!! It does not end there. This happens to be about 12:15 in the afternoon on Friday and March Madness is full in swing. I ask the Gentleman if he could change the TV to the game. He changes the TV to the BIG 10 network, which they have no subscription so it's blacked out, and says, "How's that for Basketball!!!" Leaves it on that channel for 5 minutes.A blacked out channel for 5 minutes!!!!! I DON'T CARE HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS, AND TRUST ME IT'S AVERAGE AT BEST, NOBODY NEEDS ATTITUDE LIKE THAT!! If your not happy with your station in life, then do something to change it, but don't take it out on the customer PIZZA BOY!!!!

Hit this up on Friday as part of my Atlanta pizza series on my website (link: eatitatlanta.com/tag/atl… ) A friend of mine who loves the pie told me that there was a spot near his office that had average service, good pizza, but could be hit or miss. Harry's Pizza and Subs is located on Power's Ferry near 285/75, but they also have a new location at the fabulous West End mall. Having tried a few places around ATL that have been less than exciting to me, I was stoked to try somewhere new. When I heard the service could be spotty, for some reason that peaked my interest even further. I sort of envisioned a soup nazi environment; curt staff, fast ordering, no nonsense, great food. Not sure why I thought this, but hey. I ordered a medium plain cheese pie to give it an honest shake. It was New York style with plenty of nicely browned cheese and a good amount of flavorful sauce. The proportions were just right. The dough is what got me. It was almost exactly like Mellow Mushroom's, which really isn't my favorite. They had a very similar texture, look, and they both used cornmeal on the bottom and a light dusting of parmesan on the endcrust. They also had a similar feel - if you press the endcrust it is slightly spongy and will inflate to it's initial form upon release. Harry's definitely does not serve up an artisanal pie, but it was decent enough New York style. If this is the style you are looking for, or if you are a Mellow Mushroom regular, I recommend giving Harry's a shot. I think they do a better job of that particular style of pizza than MM. Is it my favorite ever? Nope, but I don't have any regrets and man was the rest of this pizza good at 2AM.

What I love about Harry's aside from the $2 beer prices is how consistent they are. I've been here a dozen time and every pizza had been just as we ordered. That is really what you expect from a great neighborhood pizza joint. Highly recommend it.

Love this place. Went here with friends before I lived in the area and go all the time now that I live closer. Pizza is delicious, great prices, great subs, awesome staff. My favorite pizza place in the area!

We were in town for baseball and decided to give it a try. We ordered take out, and the order was ready exactly as they quotes on the phone. The pizza is good (we ordered pepperoni and meat special). The sauce is really good, but I agree with a previous review that the pie should have stayed in the oven a bit longer to allow the crust to crisp just a bit. All in all, we enjoyed the pizza..there weren't any slices left so that's proof right there!

Good food but only do Harry's if you're dining in or picking up. Delivery is slow and unpredictable. So here is my latest delivery horror story from them. So, Okay, it is a Saturday night and 45 - 60 minutes is normal but over 75 minutes, no food or call?!?! I called and was told the driver left a little bit okay. Then, I get a call from the drive over 90 minutes saying he got wrong information....okay that can happen. I ask if the food will still be warm. "I don't know" was the initial response with a flippant tone, followed by "It should be, it has been on top of the oven." Really?!? Next comment was about having a lot of order and he'll get to me (implying he'll get it to me when he gets it to me). *Shakes head* Almost 2 hours later, I got my food....the fries were soggy. Ridiculous. Sadly, this is not my first bad experience with their delivery either! I gave them a second chance and now I'm warning others. Good food - horrible, undependable, flippant delivery.

Delicious pizza, and love their salad/pizza lunch combo. Only dissappointing part is the folks answering the phone sure aren't friendly. I understand they are busy, but treat your people right so they come back!!!

I came here for a meeting after work with some colleagues. They have beer specials and the butter and parmesan pretzels were really good. I will come back because the pizza and sandwiches are suppose to be delish. Oh, and they have AWESOME lunch specials!

I LOVE their pizza! It is the closest thing you can find around this area that is New York style. It has a yummy thin crust, and all the best toppings. If you want to hottest jalapenos on your pizza, then you will find them here. I like them paired with feta cheese! My husband loves their wings. He gets them extra crispy with the sauce on the side, and it always satisfied. They have a good amount of meet on each one so he leaves full! They have $2 and $3 drafts all week, and who doesn't want a good beer with their pizza! They also have trivia night on Thursday's which is always fun. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

I've been going here for 3+ years. It's a hole in the wall with great pizza and subs are very reasonable cost. Strong recommend to check out the Hawaiian pizza and the Chicken Philly. Bradley is a great host, and you can often see Harry's legendary service live on in his kids and grandkids still running the location.

This is easily my favorite pizza spot. Generously portioned New York style pizza with a cozy and casual atmosphere. Great beer prices. Extremely friendly staff. I recently gave up gluten and they offer a gluten free pizza. I wish they would do bigger ones- right now they offer one size and it's pretty small for the price. But it's delicious and always cooked right. I like my pizza a little crispy but not burnt and they always get it right. This is just a cheap, tasty, and chill hang out.

Stopped by Harry's Pizza & Subs last night to pick up an order of 40 wings for a Super Bowl party we were headed to. Harry's is a small, old school pizza joint located on Powers Ferry Rd. near 285 (close to Heirloom Market BBQ). It's in a nondescript, sort of run-down looking strip mall with a package store and dry cleaner. At 6pm, about a half hour before kickoff, the parking lot and restaurant itself were mostly desolate. I was expecting this place to be hopping for the Super Bowl. There were only two other parties when we arrived (one dine-in, one waiting for take-out). We ordered four sets of 10 wings, each set a different flavor: mild, BBQ, lemon pepper, and teriyaki. Harry's also has a hot flavor, so they offer five flavors total. The four sets of wings were packaged in two Styrofoam containers, two sets of wings per container. Each set of wings was separated with deli paper and came with celery sticks and small plastic containers of blue cheese dressing. Orders of wings also come with fries, so the staff consolidated four wing-orders worth of fries into a single Styrofoam container for us. This order worked out to be less than $30 after tax and gratuity. Not bad at all. Wings orders (includes celery, blue cheese, and fries) are priced as follows: 8 wings - $6.99 10 wings - $7.99 13 wings - $8.99 Party trays are also available (call for pricing). There's a small condiment stand with napkins and disposable packets of ketchup, mustard, etc. Our boxes of wings were packaged nicely in a bag and waiting for us when we got there, so we just grabbed a bunch of napkins on our way out. The lady who filled our order was super sweet. The wings were still warm by the time we arrived at our Super Bowl party destination and several of the party-goers were pleased with them. I liked them, but thought they were just OK. They were a little bit chewy. Amount of sauce and flavoring for each set of wings was good. Fries were of the thick, crinkle-cut variety. One thing I think they should do differently is package the celery sticks separately from the wings. The celery sticks were very warm and malleable by the time we ate them, instead of cool and crispy. Overall, the wings from Harry's proved to be a good choice for our event. Harry's gives off a vintage neighborhood restaurant feel, complete with letter board menu and 1990s-style, non-HD, big screen projection TV. Free Wi-Fi. I'll be back to try one of their pizzas and/or subs.

If memory serves, Harry's occupies a place which many years ago used to be a Mellow Mushroom. Now, Harry's seems to have become a neighborhood favorite pizza joint. And I can see why. The pizza is good. The sauce is tasty. And my two slices arrived at the table hot and delicious with fresh toppings. (And not too heavy on the cheese.) They have some cheap lunch specials that are worth checking out. And the lunch crowd does indeed show up to partake. I'll happily stop off for a quick lunch again. Holler if you're coming with.

We have been going to Harry's for about a year. When we started eating there everything was great, the subs, pizzas, and wings were really good. The last two months have been anything but, cold and doughy pizzas, really over cooked and salty wings, raw and bitter eggplant, etc. No mas senor. No mas.

If you go to their webpage, they have coupons you can print. If you're a Walton on the Chattahoochee resident, you can get flyer coupons all.the.time, and 10% discount (cannot be combined with any other offer) if you have your Walton card. YAY! Harry's totally has a local joint feel to it. I love that. The employees are also very friendly and easy going. I usually order for pick up and they have always been timely with my orders. Even so, it's not a bad place to dine-in; there's t.v.s and free wi-fi. The pizzas are great! They're prepared thin crust. I like the everything pizza. I mean, it has everything! I think the wings are decent. They were slightly chewy and dry. One unfortunate thing about the wings combo to-go is everything is placed into a styrofoam container, so the celery gets steamed and the sauce is warm. sad face. If you pre order wings for a party, they actually have 20 wings 10.99 or something or other, that's not listed on their webpage. You can order multiples of that. The server will most likely mention the deal to you.

Harry's is one of my favorite pizza places in town. It is a great place to meet up with friends, is family friendly, totally casual and though the pizza prices are so-so, the drinks prices are fantastic. We have tried several of their pizzas and have not yet been disappointed. The only thing I see that could be improved is the ordering process. The line can get a little slow when they are busy and you have to go back to the counter to order more food/drinks.

Inconsistency is consistent. When it is good the pizza will rock your world. Unfortunately several times its been under cooked where literally another 90sec would've made it awesome, but instead of was barely edible. Management is drippy

This place is right down the street from where I work and I found it odd that even though there are over 1800 employees here - when I asked, only one person said they had been to this place. It didn't bode well that he went on to say that the staff was rude and the food was overpriced. Lol. After 4 months of driving past the place, I'd had a long day, and didn't have much time for lunch . . . Add to that there are certain times of the month where I L-O-V-E 'bar food' and just have to have it and today was one of them - and Bam! It was time to give old Harry's a try. First off - I walked in and it was very dark but I saw an employee wiping down tables. There were no patrons at the time. So I thought, "That's good - they clean even when no one's looking." I did find it a little annoying that he looked right at me and did not greet me. (I worked in hospitality before so this has always been a pet peeve of mine - such a little thing - but surveys show that it really makes the difference, for a lot of customers, as to whether they feel valued or not). Okay. So. The lack of acknowledgement wasn't gonna stop me now that I'd made the drive. So I made my way on back to the register and stood. And waited. There was an employee behind and to the right of the station and he made direct eye contact with me and said not one word. Ahem. Finally, the gentleman that was wiping down tables stops. And saunters over to eh counter and says, "What can I get you?" I know some reading this may find it petty - but if this is standard protocol - I get why my fellow employee said they are rude here. It's hard to convey here - but this employee, the cashier / server / manager (yes, manager) just seemed annoyed. It was the lack of "hello," the lack of smile and his overall tone and body language . . . After a 3 minute discourse on whether cheese sticks were breaded or battered, he FINALLY offered to go get one for me to look at. Yes - I'm a 'bar food' connoisseur - and I only like the battered. And I'd have to agree that some of the items did seem over-priced but these folks have to be able to afford Vinings adjacent real estate. Smile. I opted for one of the cheaper items, fries and chicken fingers for $7. And it was a fairly small portion - a 4 count of those freezer-to-fryer chicken tenders. I'm not a big fan of ChickFila (blasphemous since I'm an Atlantan, I know) but just to give you a visual - a ChickFila's 3 count actually gives you more food than the meal I purchased AND includes a drink - unlike Harry's equivalent. I could go on . . . but I won't. Bottom line - for places like this - you come for the atmosphere and friendliness - not necessarily the food. And there are too many other good choices in the area to make this one of my new "go to" spots. They might have the best pizza in the world - but, unfortunately, I'll never know. Sorry Harry - but for me, this one's a miss!

Good stuff! Nice little neighborhood pizzeria. I always prefer to support local privately owned businesses rather than big and impersonal chains when possible. I've never had a disappointing or undercooked pie at Harry's. The pizzas and calzones are quite good, and topped with quality ingredients. Good dough and tomato sauce. I do find the sandwiches a bit overpriced for what they contain, so I try and stick with what they do best.. pizza.

Friendly service and terrific food! I had a gluten-free pizza and a salad and both were very good! I was worried that the gluten-free pizza would taste funny...but I'll be back for more! It was very tasty!

I was in Atlanta for the day, for work, and some friends and I decided to get together for lunch at Harry's. I think the last time I'd eaten there was probably before Harry passed on, but I remembered enjoying the food and the "local eatery" appeal of the place. I'm happy to say that hasn't changed at all. The restaurant remains just a very "average Joe" kinda spot, where you can grab some good food and just chill alone or with buds. You can eat a greasy, cheesy New York-style slice of pizza or a steaming-hot hoagie, while enjoying the throwback that is a Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga (circa 1985) classic video game buzzing in the corner; all while classic rock fills the air. The price is right, too, as you can leave the joint completely and happily expanding the beltline, without putting dents in the ol' wallet. I don't get to visit Harry's as often as I probably would if distance weren't a factor, but it still remains a place I still look forward to whenever I get the opportunity to go.

I came here after work for the happy hour. I was not impressed at all. There were only 2 customers at the place when I got there. There seemed to be only two employees there also. The employee who was cleaning up stopped cleaning to take my order. I got there special. Which was pizza and a drink but I substituted the drink for a beer. They charged me an extra $2 for this. The pizza was ok but nothing special. I would have done better to but a pizza at the grocery store. The price was similar to papa johns or pizza hut.

I don't know if it was just me and maybe just a one time thing, but I will NEVER eat here again. I got a pizza for dinner and a salad for lunch the next day, the pizza made me sick almost immediately after I ate it and the salad was not very good. The staff barely acknowledged that I was there. I called and placed my order to go, I got there after they said the order would be ready and I still waited another 20 minutes for food that had been done for awhile and was cold and the other that was just out of the oven and only barely warm. Very disappointed.

NPWH. This is a great neighborhood pizzeria where you can get a slice and a brew at a reasonable price. Loved the children's art work on the wall. I will definitely be back.

Not much of an atmosphere in this 80's looking restaurant, let's face it. The interior is outdated and the smell of long gone-by decades of smoking is still obvious. That said, please don't go here for the atmosphere. Go here for the pizza. A little trick I learned from going there a lot is that the pizza by the pie is not that great. Order it by the slice, for lunch, for example. That way it is a pre-baked cheese pizza that gets cut up and topped with whatever you like. Then it's basically twice baked. That's the way I personally like it. Expect one of the best New York pizzas around at $1.99 a slice. By the slice, two should be plenty. Harry long passed, his son, I believe, runs it now. He's a great character. A man of few words, yet always friendly. His mom still helps out there every so often for lunch. What a sweet lady. Verdict: No good for a date night. Great for lunch and great for drinks. The in-store design just speaks of a long gone decade. That's part of the flair and also helps them keep the prices reasonable.

Harry's used to be AWESOME but now it has gone downhill. It gets 2 stars from the contribution of nostalgia but I give 0.1 stars for current dining/experience, so it averages out to 1 star. This pizza place leaves a lot to be desired. The current clientele has retained some of the palatable customers but with too many undesirable customers that are likely to ruin your evening.

Good food and friendly owners! Kids love the pepperoni pizza. I like the eggplant parmesan and slag/meatballs is also tasty. The dressing for the greek salad is super tasty. They deliver but unfortunately not all the way to our house.

I love this place. I have been here many times. Are they out of slices sometimes??? Yes..when they are I just buy a small...the beer is cold and at a good price. I can't say that I have ever had anything bad off of the menu. Pizza is awesome. In fact Harry's is my second favorite. D'ANGELO'S in Canton is the best.

We ordered lunch for our office after several recommendations. Harry's delivery was on time, friendly and the food was amazing. I had the best veggie pizza and the subs were all so delicious. It's hands down a great lunch spot for yourself or a great option for catering for your function or office. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and take the experience in fully.

Came here the other night with friends for dinner. We ordered: Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza: The pizza was pretty good!! Toppings were on point, not too much or too little. Crust was crunchy, and yummy! Greek Salad: Standard pizza place salad, salad with pizza toppings! LOL! Nothing special, just Greek Salad. We got the large, and that was enough for the 4 of us. Cheese Bread: French bread, with some melted mozzarella. Standard, but who doesn't like bread & cheese? The service was ok, slow. We ordered, and waited for 20 minutes, and pizza came out. I was hoping that the salad & cheese bread would come out first, but they were last! Pizza, then salad, and then 1/4 of a pizza in, the cheese bread came out. I enjoyed the food, but the service was slow. Please see pics. Thank you, drive thru.

I ordered a small pizza for takeout. I was told it will be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived and paid for pizza and waited and waited. Inquired about the delay and told it would just be another couple minutes. Total time 29 minutes from the phone call. It was not crowded

Came for lunch....got the 1-topping, Greek salad and drink special. It was about $8. Food came out very quickly. Greek dressing was yummy! Pepperoni slice but a tad bit salty even after I soaked up the extra grease. The cheese was good, not too stretchy but flavorful. Crust was both chewy and crunchy. Friendly staff. I will return for lunch.

Not bad at all. The service here was a tad bit slower than expected but our group visit last night was a success. We ordered a mushroom and pepperoni pizza, their large Greek salad, and their garlic bread. The pizza's crust was great. Thin and cooked well. The sauce and the ingredients were fresh and everyone at our table enjoyed each slice. Their Greek salad was standard but the dressing was solid and I liked that it came with red onions. Side note: Everything tastes better with red onions in my opinion. Their garlic bread was soft and the cheese was evenly melted on top. It's a super casual restaurant with seating available both downstairs on the main level and upstairs as well. They have a fountain machine and unsweet/sweet teas available. Service was decent but don't expect more because you'll be disappointed. Parking is plentiful as they are in a small strip mall. I was told by friends that I was dining with that their pizza is definitely better in person than via delivery. Thanks again Tanya C. for treating us last night!

Use to live near this place. No fancy decor. Old projection tvs. But the pizza is excellent. Best pizza I've tasted since I moved too Atlanta many moons ago. Staff is friendly. Everyone that I bring here from out of town say their pizza is excellent.

So, if you put on your sign that you are offering $0.99 slices on Saturday & Sunday, and then people come in to partake of said offer, do not: * Fail to post any information about the special inside your restaurant * Say that the special is only offered for a subset of your posted business hours * Get snarky and say "there is only so much room on the sign" when your potential customer rightly points out that the sign did not say anything about limited hours. * Point out that you close in 35 minutes and report that there are no slices left anyway, but your customer may choose to purchase an entire pie. FAIL. If I'm not mistaken, this is known as "bait & switch." I ain't havin' none of your attitude OR your slices. Too bad for you since you are conveniently located to me and my hungry bear roomies' apartment. I've eaten there before and the food is actually pretty decent, but I don't need a side of shade with my calzone.

It gets pretty busy during lunch time, so the lineup to order can be to the door. If you want really speedy service, I would recommend calling ahead for pickup service and taking it wherever you want to go. I do this and bring it back to the office if I want to eat while I work. I like their subs and salads - they are a decent size for the price and are well made and fresh. The pizza is pretty normal, good pizza. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I like the laid-back feel so I am rounding up to 4.

What I love about Harry's aside from the $2 beer prices is how consistent they are. I've been here a dozen time and every pizza had been just as we ordered. That is really what you expect from a great neighborhood pizza joint. Highly recommend it.

No mas.

Smile.

  • Jennifer S.

Pizza cooked right paired with ambiance that offers a feeling that I thought was long gone - college days :) And oh, they said they have no delivery fees? hmmm....

I do find the sandwiches a bit overpriced for what they contain, so I try and stick with what they do best.. pizza.

Good food and friendly owners! Kids love the pepperoni pizza. I like the eggplant parmesan and slag/meatballs is also tasty. The dressing for the greek salad is super tasty. They deliver but unfortunately not all the way to our house.

  • Jen K.

This place is mediocre at best. If you're in a pinch, it's not terrible. But it's not my top choice. The crust is thicker than I like (I prefer NY style) and the cheese is not the best quality. I think there are better places in the area. (See my other reviews.)

  • Claude L.

Even though I have long graduated from the NYC Style pizza is the best mindset, Harrys hit the mark last night. The crust was delish, the toppings were bountiful.....(jerk chiggun fans must try this as a topping...trust me.....the heat is nice) and the service and quality was outstanding..... these folks take their pizza baking VERY serious, and it shows.

Got pizza delivered from Harry's last night for the first time--so yum! The pizza itself reminded me of home (Philly), and the service was super quick. They said 30-45 minutes and it was more like 20. The pizza was crazy hot and delicious. We're hooked for sure.

Gonna give this one 3 stars bc it cured my hangover BIG time. The pizza was really thin not too much to my liking but seeing how the owner was involved and was really nice and cared about what we thought of the food it's getting extra stars. Might give it another chance if in da area.

No mas.

Harry's is one of my favorite pizza places in town. It is a great place to meet up with friends, is family friendly, totally casual and though the pizza prices are so-so, the drinks prices are fantastic. Good food and friendly owners! Kids love the pepperoni pizza. I like the eggplant parmesan and slag/meatballs is also tasty. The dressing for the greek salad is super tasty. They deliver but unfortunately not all the way to our house.

Inconsistency is consistent. When it is good the pizza will rock your world. Unfortunately several times its been under cooked where literally another 90sec would've made it awesome, but instead of was barely edible. Management is drippy

The service was great, very friendly staff. The pizza was cool for the price. They had specials on beer and wine, and that is always a plus :)

  • Jen K.

This place is mediocre at best. If you're in a pinch, it's not terrible. But it's not my top choice. The crust is thicker than I like (I prefer NY style) and the cheese is not the best quality. I think there are better places in the area. (See my other reviews.)

    (4)
  • Leanne B.

Got pizza delivered from Harry's last night for the first time--so yum! The pizza itself reminded me of home (Philly), and the service was super quick. They said 30-45 minutes and it was more like 20. The pizza was crazy hot and delicious. We're hooked for sure.

It's nothing special inside, a bar atmosphere with pizza. The service/kitchen is WAY too slow, and this is the one thing that prevents us from going there more. We like the wings and the pizza, but the slow service deters us. They do have a pretty large menu.

Even though I have long graduated from the NYC Style pizza is the best mindset, Harrys hit the mark last night. Use to live near this place. No fancy decor. Old projection tvs. But the pizza is excellent. Best pizza I've tasted since I moved too Atlanta many moons ago. Staff is friendly. Everyone that I bring here from out of town say their pizza is excellent.

Gonna give this one 3 stars bc it cured my hangover BIG time. The pizza was really thin not too much to my liking but seeing how the owner was involved and was really nice and cared about what we thought of the food it's getting extra stars. Might give it another chance if in da area.

Pizza cooked right paired with ambiance that offers a feeling that I thought was long gone - college days :) And oh, they said they have no delivery fees? hmmm....

The best pizza in Atlanta. Clear and simple the crust is the best! Usual is medium pizza with onions spinach and bacon and large Greek salad.... Thank me later

  • Courtney K.

If you're looking for a slice of greasy goodness, this is your place. You can get two slices at lunch and you will be full and happy. The slices are huge. I hear the subs are great, but I haven't tried them. I've been coming here for years with family and will continue coming now that I work just a few minutes away.

    (4)

  • DeNay G.

    (4)
  • Kiara B.

What I love about Harry's aside from the $2 beer prices is how consistent they are. I've been here a dozen time and every pizza had been just as we ordered. That is really what you expect from a great neighborhood pizza joint. Highly recommend it.
