I love love love their buttermilk pancakes! I've been coming here for about a year and I don't know what took me so long to do an review. They give you plenty of food for the price! And everyone that works here is really nice.

I never gave this place much thought except to notice it on my way to Chipotle every so often (it's right next door). But, when the line at Chipotle was wayyyy too long one day (I know, when is it NOT right?) we decided to check it out. It seemed like fate because it was a rainy, dreary day outside and we thought a soup and sandwich combo would be the perfect thing. The concept is very similar to Panera and others...order your food, take a number and they bring it to you. Simple. Before ordering, my wife sampled the Siracha black bean soup and nearly choked. Unlike myself, she LOVES siracha and LOVES spicy food but it was even too spicy for her! I don't know if this is how this soup usually is or if they may have been a bit heavy handed at this particular location. I ordered their spicy Asian pork sandwich: shredded pork, cucumbers, slaw and pickled jalapenos with a spicy Asian barbecue sauce on a ciabatta roll. I opted to pass on the jalapenos because I'm not much of a spicy fan and since both the BBQ sauce and the slaw promised to be spicy, I thought jalapenos would be too much. With my sandwich, I ordered a cup of chicken soup. My wife ordered the chicken pomodori on Sourdough: roasted chicken, fresh basil and spinach, oven-roasted tomatoes and provolone cheese with pesto mayo. With her sandwich, she ordered a cup of loaded baked potato soup. Even though the place was empty when we got there, our order still seemed to take a while to get to our table. No worries, we weren't in a hurry. When the food came, the first thing I did was taste my soup. It wasn't cold, wasn't hot, but lukewarm--a cardinal sin when it comes to food, especially soup, in my opinion. My wife tasted her soup and it was also lukewarm. Bummer. The taste of both soups wasn't bad but the fact that they weren't hot just killed it for me. However, I LOVED my sandwich. It wasn't spicy at all so the jalapenos would've probably been fine on there, but it was delicious! It was sweet and tangy and flavorful. The pork was very tender and it went perfectly with the crunch of the slaw. They gave me a small cup of extra sauce but I really didn't need it, the sandwich was plenty saucy enough. I truly enjoyed it. My wife's sandwich was just okay she said, "nothing to write home about but not bad either". When we were done, we looked around a while for a trash can where we could empty our trays but couldn't find one. It took us a couple minutes to realize that you leave everything on the table and they'd clear it. That's nice but I wish there was a sign indicating this so that it's clear what to do and you don't have to guess. All in all, it was an okay experience. I'd DEFINITELY return for that pork sandwich. And we didn't try any desserts but some of them looked really good--especially the giant cinnamon rolls, I think I'll try one next time.

I visited this location for the first time today and was not really impressed. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it really didn't live up to my expectation. I considered it overpriced because it was tasteless. I also ordered the maple pecan bar and found the crust was COMPLETELY stale!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is terrible, that's is the bottom line. Had their chicken sandwich, which was small, cold and at the end of the day, just disgusting. Their corner bakery chips are so salty, they are inedible.

I really want to like and support this place. The food is pretty good and there are healthier choices which I appreciate. The customer service, however, is consistently sub par. Several times I have been there and experienced less than positive customer service. Here is my most recent experience from less than 1 hour ago: Today I ordered a southwest salad with added chicken and I clearly stated to "please take off the jalapenos." The woman who took my order expressed understanding and I paid my bill of approximately $10. I took my # and waited off to the side. A few minutes passed, I looked up at the counter and saw 3 employees laughing and joking. I made eye contact with one girl and smiled. I saw a salad sitting on the counter but assumed it wasn't mine as they did not bring it to me. I went back to my phone, responded to an email and a few more minutes passed. During that time, another employee walked by me with a personal phone conversation on speaker and did not seem to care or notice that their conversation was blasting for all to hear. I looked up again, and the same salad was sitting there on the counter, same 3 employees were laughing and playing around. I walked up to the counter and asked if that was my salad. The guy (Christopher S) said "southwest salad w/ chicken? Yes ma'am!" They had been standing around playing while my food was sitting there the whole time. I have low tolerance for laziness and poor customer service. I work in customer service and know it's my job to ensure all customers are happy and taken good care of in an efficient manner. This place makes me feel like I'm lucky to get an order that was not cheap and that while I'm waiting, I'll hear an earful of employees inappropriate personal business. Lastly, when I got home, there was jalapenos in the salad....

I work within walking distance from CB and have been there a few times. CB is clean with good service. I receive my order pretty quickly and it's been fresh each time. The quality of food is pretty good for the price. I always get the currant oatmeal cookies for dessert. They taste like homemade cookies. I'll continue to frequent for lunch and even dinner.

I had the Anaheim panini with a side of steel cut oatmeal. It was so good! Friendly service. Will defiantly be coming back!

Ordered the turkey pastrami sandwich and the chocolate woopie pie. The service took abt 5 mins which was great. The dining area didn't have many customers probably because of the time of day. The dining area was clean. Seems like a great place for friends to gather. The turkey pastrami had a slaw on top that was unexpected but good. The woopie pie tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. Very chocolaty. I will definitely come again.

Went in about 2 weeks ago (3/15) with the wife for a quick lunch. Never had it before but figured we would try it out. The person that took our order was very courteous! I got the chicken tortilla soup and cobb salad and the wife had half sandwich and mac and cheese. If I'm comparing to a gourmet sandwich deli like, I would pick this place hands down over Panera bread.

I've had Corner Bakery catered a lot at work, and this was my first stop into an actual cafe. We came early one Sunday morning before I had to get ready for work, and left feeling unimpressed. I ordered a Power Flat with coffee, and my fiance got the Garden Gate Scrambler with fruit. My flat was fine, although really small. The whole thing fit on a coffee saucer, it seemed like. But, it was filling. My fiance's Scrambler looked really good but the eggs weren't cooked all the way. He mentioned this to the food runner, who insisted they were cooked despite the runny, raw egg flowing across the plate. He then took it up to the manager and got them to remake it, but they brought out his new plate with potatoes instead of fruit (he didn't save it while they remade the eggs). And, had to twist their arms to give it to him. Outside of that, the Scrambler was good. But the bread wasn't toasted at all. Guess they forgot to do that. We sat on the enclosed patio with everyone else who was there that early, in large part because the dining room was subarctic. But, that made the patio really loud, especially when kids began screaming and crying. It would have been nice to move away from them and enjoy our breakfast with some peace. Also, they didn't have their decaf coffee labeled. Probably should do that so people who can't have caffeine for medical reasons don't pick the wrong brew. I'd still get catering from here because the food is good, it's just the atmosphere and employees that left us unimpressed.

My office often gets corner bakery desserts, but this was the first time I'd ever gone to one of their locations. I ordered one of their pasta dishes (and of course dessert to go!). I was surprised by how good the non-dessert food was. I'm definitely giving this place another visit. Also, I ordered the entrée size, which turned out to be a huge amount of food. Definitely two meals worth, which wasn't bad for the small price increase. Go, give it a try!

I stop at this Corner Bakery sometimes when I'm feeling sandwichy or soupy. This location is quiet and quaint and I have found that I can go and relax and grab a bite after work on occasion. CBCs are very much like Panera Bread stores in that you place your order, are given a number, and then your order is brought to your table. They do a decent job of their soups, sandwiches, and pastries. Every time I've come to this location, the employees are nice. One thing I really like about CBC is that if you sign up for their e-cafe program (they send you news, specials, etc.), they pretty regularly have some freebie or another going on. The last one was a free flat bread, which came with carrots on the side. I really enjoyed it and I'm sure it tasted super good because it was free. Really, though, the bread was good and I loved how the chicken tasted in the chicken Caesar flat bread. When they have one of these free specials going on, you have to pick your store and a window of time (usually an hour) within which you will pick up your goods. Prices are average, not great. In the end, Corner is a decent option to get yourself a quick bite.

My job had catered from Corner Bakery before so I wanted to check the place and went with a co-worker since she goes there frequently. It's located in the same shopping center where Sports Authority/LA Fitness is but more in front of Sports Authority, next to Chipolte. While walking in the restaurant, the setup reminded me so much of Fresh to Order, which I absolutely love! We order our food, get a number, get our drinks, then find a table, place number up and then wait for our food. I ordered the grilled veggie wheat panini with basil tomato soup. It also came with baked chips. My co-worker got salad and corn chowder soup. Her salad was huge! My sandwich was really small, I was a bit disappointed overall with the presentation. However, the taste really makes up for it. I am not happy with paying close to $10 for the meal. In honesty, I would've paid the same amount and be happier at F2O but I would come back to try another dish. I am still giving it a 4 because of the flavors and service. With the name, "bakery" attached to the restaurant's name, there are sweets and goodies located in the front next the cashier, looked yummy but I tried to be good and did not order any, maybe next time :)

I went here for lunch the other day with co-workers. It was freezing inside the restaurant so bring a jacket if you plan on going here. I ordered the southwest salad entree portion. It was just ok, lacked in flavor which really bummed me out bc the description sounded amazing. Boo.

This was my first time eating a meal at Corner Bakery. I ordered a half of Uptown Turkey Sandwich & Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad, Four Berry Smoothie and a Maple Pecan Bar for dessert to go. When I was eating my food at home I was like the sandwich taste really good but the salad had a weird taste to eat. The Maple Pecan Bar was yummy reminded me of Pecan Pie. After eating everything my stomach started feeling funny like I'm going to be sick and few minutes later I was on the toilet with major diarrhea. My stomach was cramping so bad and I was nausea for the rest of the night and the next day I couldn't eat anything else for two days. That night when I got sick I went on to Corner Bakery website and filled out a Contact Us form to let them know what happen so they can tell that restaurant location just in case anyone else get sick but it's been two weeks now and I never heard anything back from them. I won't be eating at this Corner Bakery every again or any other Corner Bakery because they have some sanitary issues to address.

I ate Lunch here yesterday and had the Slice Meatball panini. This is by far the best meatball sandwich I've ever had. They serve it with a side of marinara sauce so the bread doesn't get too soggy. My girlfriend had a chicken pesto sandwich which is a cold sandwich that we didn't know and also a side mixed greens salad. They warmed it up for her and she enjoyed it. I'm going back tonight to try something else!

When I worked downtown I ate at the Corner Bakery almost every day. Luckily for me they put one in across the street from where I work in the almost burbs!! Food: One star they ruined my favorite sandwich. 1/2 star I keep getting nasty wilted lettuce. 1/2 they don't make my favorite combo where I sub in the Cavatappi pasta for chips and added charge. I have been getting the chicken pesto sandwich for years. It's been tasty chicken which I think was baked. I think they're using roasted chicken or something now. It's little pieces and doesn't taste right. I won't be getting this sandwich anymore. The Cavatappi pasta is delicious! Roasted full garlic pieces and chunks of cheese. This is my favorite item on menu. Since they no longer have my two favorite sandwiches the Chix Pesto or the Roast Beef w/ Goat Cheese I will get the salad trio if I come here again. Salad trio lets you pick from 3 salad items. I usually get the chicken salad, Cavatappi pasta and a random item. Their potato soup is to die for! Has all the ingredients of a fully loaded baked potato - less the sour cream. It's a meal in itself. Service: I get take out. The lady who answers the phone and the people at the counter are super nice! Catering: This is our go to place for catering at work now. They're good with large orders. They will deliver for I think 10% charge. I usually pick up. One time an order was missing an item and they had it to us in 15 minutes. Awesome! So - while I'm super sad that they no longer make the Chicken Pesto correct I will come back now and then for the trio salad.

Oops, let me start again! Apologies for posting my Egg Harbor Review here, it's been THAT kinda morning! Without further adieu: I discovered this place while on business in Cobb county, and what a little gem! It looks, at first glance, like a Panera or some such, but it's 10 times better! Great selection of pasteries, hot breakfasts (I had a to-go order of the applewood bacon, roasted tomato, egg and cheddar croissant, and it was AWESOME!), and an array of coffees. Coffee station is self serve, and they offer about 4 varieties on the coffee bar, plain, decaf, and a couple of flavored ones. Staff is friendly and the system by which they operate runs seamlessly. I'm putting this one on my Cobb county "yes" list, and will definitely use it to grab breakfast or lunch in the future when I'm in the area! I look forward to their lunch offerings and will update my review after I check it out again!

This has become one of my favorite sandwich/salad/soup places. It's in a great location that I frequent a lot on my lunch break or when in the area. I love, love, love their Maple Pecan bar, OMG!!!!! I have to be careful and eat that in moderation. Because I love pecan pie, I figure this is a nice little tease of that, but it's actually a pretty large square. Their hibiscus lemonade has become a hit, though I always mix it with regular lemonade with no ice. Their salads and smoothies aren't half bad either. I like the environment and the staff are pretty friendly. I'll definitely be back.

One of my "go to" spots for breakfast and lunch. One recurring issue that needs to be addressed: the temperature. Does this cafe not have a functional thermostat? I'm sitting here sweating right now as I type this. It's at least 80-85 degrees. A few months ago during the warm months, it would be freezing cold. An elderly couple next to me said it felt like a morgue. It was so bad, I'd go outside to the patio to avoid frostbite. As for the food, it is consistently excellent in taste and preparation. The staff here is mostly great, a combination of Southern charm and professionalism. April update: I stopped coming here because of the temperature issues. Decided to try them today. I'm back on the patio. It feels like Alaska inside. Shame it is.

Dirty, small proportions, not real friendly. Got the Santa Fe chicken salad and it had 5 very small bits of chicken. Very disappointing and overpriced. Save yourself the trouble and find a better quality place to eat.

Average. I had a turkey sandwhich it's sort of hard to mess up though. The soup tasted really salty. The value and cookies are pretty good. It's a go to for quick lunch nothing special. Staff was nice parking is hard on peak times.

I went there for the first time recently and I really liked it!! The Lemon chicken orzo soup is so good. I did have the apple pastry. I forgot the name of it. It was delicious.

I've here 4 or 5 times and can say after my last visit I won't be returning. On three different occasions my food took over a half an hour to be served. I'm talking soup and salad. Food not bad but service just lacks for the price. For a Panera wannabe save your money and go to any other restaurant around there.

I couldn't wait for this place to open. It just adds to all the great work lunch options in the area. This is definitely a great option for lunch when you want to keep a healthy waistline and splurge $10-$15 for lunch. Ambience -- Clean and modern. Food - Salads are great! -- I've had the chopped salad and mixed greens side salad. The salad dressing choices are wonderful too! Not a fan of the soups --definitely has a packaged can taste (tortilla // chicken noodle). Tried the meatball panini ----pretty tasty! Service - Staff is ok. The line can get long during the lunch rush. The staff gave $5 certificates to compensate. I will be using it again soon.

Got a coupon for a free cookie, so we decided to check them out while in the neighborhood. The cookie was OK, but the entire place was so filthy dirty we would likely not want to risk eating any food there. It was a weekday at an off hour... no excuse for that!

Very nice place in a nice location. The items on the menu were a little pricey for the amount you were receiving, but for the flavor, it was well worth it. I got a Chicken Pomodori on Sourdough, which is a type of grilled panini. The bread was grilled to perfection with butter and the combination of basil, spinach, tomato, provolone cheese, and pesto mayo went so well with the grilled chicken, a must try for anyone wanting to try a good panini! My only complaint for the restaurant was the table we sat at was very wobble and there was a grasshopper on my sister's shoulder, but we were sitting semi-outside.

I don't think people think about Corner Bakery Cafe much here in Vinings because it is right next to a Chipotle. We all know that everyone is in love with Chipotle, but if you take the time to walk 10 feet to the attached building with less people, you will be surprised at how much you will love Corner Bakery Cafe. You can expect the same service and food as you would get from most other Corner Bakery Cafes. Well except for the airport location (which is awful). Their hot panini's are some of the best you can find from a chain restaurant and their pomegranate salad dressing is to die for.

I ordered the steak and cheese toasted sandwich. It was delicious! I had never been here before and had zero expectations. I got the sandwich to-go and after about 10 minutes back to the office it was still warm and toasted, not soggy from the cheese sauce. The relish that comes with it is awesome too! It's a sweet chili sauce. I will say the parking here is a wreck. I know they are doing construction, but even at 1pm on a weekday this entire area is a zoo. Drive slowly and be patient!

The food is good it's just the customer service is so bad. Today they tried to force me to donate money to the children's foundation because of their own employee competition they have going on. Very rude. I will not be returning to this location unfortunately.

I've tried Corner Bakery before at a different location and I was not fond of it. However, I decided to try it again with my coworker. We order online through their online ordering option which will save you the wait in line and the wait for the food if you won't order online. There's a register designated for online/call-in orders. I've tried their trio combo that allows you to choose three small salads. I chose cavatappi pasta salad, d.c. chicken salad, and mixed greens. I also ordered mozzarella tomato arugula salad as a side. Maybe it was a bad combo of the three, but I regretted ordering these. I am disappointed in my order. The cavatappi pasta salad pasta wasn't good nor bad. It was just okay. The d.c. chicken salad was just okay. I wasn't too fond of it. There were currants (raisins) and almonds in this chicken salad. The mozzarella tomato arugula salad was very misleading. It's basically a caprese salad drenched and drowning in the lemon garlic dressing. The lemon garlic dressing was really oily based. There were three small square cubes of mozzarella, three to four leaves if arugula, small amount of chopped basil, and 95% of the salad were tomatoes. The only part of this salad that I liked was the mixed green salad which came with a very nice vinaigrette. They made my friend's order incorrectly and she had to drive back to exchange it because they got it all wrong. The employee had even checked the order to ensure accuracy before giving it to my coworker. My coworker called the cafe and told them about the incorrect order and then she drove back to return it. This is when they just started to remake her order. By the time she got back to the office, her lunch time was up. She told me that it was as if they used the same items from the first order, but tried to remove the things that she didn't want in it. Overall, we are considering other options for lunch since there are so many restaurants in this area to choose from.

Meant to goto Chik Fil A until I realized it was a drive thru with no sit in dining. Popped in here unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised. Reminds me of Panera. Tasty sandwiches and soups (I tried the club panini and lemon orzo chicken soup as well as a taste of the tomato basil - both very good. Love the hibiscus lemonade. Will add this to my rotation of places to eat when I visit for business. Glad to find it.

While this place has variety, it is basically like a Panera Bread, and I'm not a fan of Panera. Soups, salads, pasta and sandwiches. My turkey sandwich was just so-so. Tomato soup tasted like Prego sauce from the jar. Bread was a bit stale. The employees seemed ever so excited to wait on me (rolling eyes.) It was a good place for a quick lunch with children, but the food is just your run of the mill chain lunch place. I'd probably opt for My Friends Place or Souper Jenny over this place.

Corner Bakery is similar to Panera and Atlanta Bread Company. They are up-scaleish sandwich places. You order at the front, take a number, and they bring you the food. Also, after you eat, you can just leave your food at the table, you don't need to throw it out yourself. I like that. I do feel guilty since I don't tip them. It feels like I'm in an Asian country or something. How was my sandwich and soup? It wasn't bad. It was okay. The Chicken Pomodori panini was fine. And their three lentil vegetable soup was okay. I didn't like the spices they put in there. It wasn't a lentil soup I was used to. Overall, they are an okay sandwich and soup place. They have good service, and all of their staff seems friendly. They have free wi-fi so you can chill out there with your iPad or whatnot.

You ever have one of those nights when it's really cold out, and what you really want for a quick dinner is a nice, hot cup of soup or chili? Corner Bakery Café made that happen. I showed up tired. I was so sleep deprived, I was walking around in a weird, mental, perma-fog. I'm sure I looked and sounded worse than Quasimodo. That didn't stop the ladies from behind the counter from being totally friendly--energetic, even. It was a much-needed moment of comity. They explained the soup-sizes to me, and let me tell you, the "cup" of soup is exactly what you'd expect. But the "bowl" of soup is quite a bit larger. You could lie down in it. And it might even feel good (if it's full of warm chili). That chili totally hit the spot. Hearty. Full of beans and meat. It was a bit salty, but I'm not holding that against them (this time). As I already mentioned, service was super-friendly, and my chili arrived at the table lickety-split. I would guess that this place gets busy for lunch. But the dinner crowd is thinner, and I found it easy to kick back for a quick bite and some quiet time. As you might expect, they have a variety of sandwiches, panini, pasta, and other delicious (and sweet) things for your consumption. Enjoy. I'll be going back for more chili. (Or maybe next time, some soup.) Holler if you're coming with.

I ordered catering from this location twice in one week. My boss was having some important meetings and I needed to find a nearby place that would deliver salads and sandwiches. When ordering catering they let me know what there is a 15 minute window before and after in which the order is considered on time. For example a 12:30 delivery can be delivered from 12:15 - 12:45. My first order on Wednesday was late by 15 minutes... Meaning it arrived at 1. That meant that for 30 mins my boss was not happy with me and kept asking me where the food was. The second day they would not accept my desired delivery time of 12 so I was not able to serve until 12:30. It was very frustrating overall, as they should have attempted to redeem themselves when I called back again. The food quality was good but I cannot accept the level of service that I received. They are directly across the street from the office. They had ample time to prepare my order. The late delivery was unacceptable.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Corner Bakery Cafe, but was disappointed with the service. We stopped by on a weeknight and there were only three other people in the restaurant when we arrived. One of my biggest pet peeves is when you walk into a nearly empty business and no one greets you...and unfortunately, that is exactly what happened here. I approached the cash register and was looking around the restaurant, at the menu boards, and at a paper menu. I told the cashier that we had never been there before and asked if breakfast was served all day. She said that it was, but mumbled a list of several menu items that are not prepared all day. The cashier was not helpful and she and the other three employees I could see all appeared bored and bothered that we had disrupted their conversation. My husband ordered Lentil soup and 1/2 of a Chicken Pesto Panini ($8.49). He enjoyed the sandwich, but commented that the soup was "meh" after the first couple of bites. I ordered Pesto Cavatappi Pasta - chicken breast slices served with pasta in a pesto cream sauce ($7.49). I ordered the lunch portion and I had enough left over for the lunch the following day. The pasta was very flavorful, but it was also very oily. It was served with a piece of garlic bread which helped cut the oiliness of the dish. We ordered two types of cookies and a Maple Pecan Bar to to go. The cookies were okay - larger, but not any better than a normal Publix bakery cookie. I heated up the bar in the microwave and it was a nice substitute for pecan pie. The ordering process was challenging - it was like pulling teeth to get our order in and we had to ask the cashier to repeat what she said multiple times because she mumbled so much...and neither of us are hard of hearing. Despite the nearly empty restaurant, a couple of tables needed to be wiped down. I think the cashier who helped us might have just been very shy, but it was not a good first impression. She did realize that she had not charged us for the Maple Pecan Bar and gave it to us on the house. I thought it was a nice gesture and helped soften the otherwise awkward experience. They offer free Wifi and have a soda fountain, regular and Hibiscus Lemonades, and four different types of brewed coffee. Bottom line, I will go back for the food, but the customer service has room for improvement.

We came here on a Sunday right after church when we wanted to try something different. We have Corner Bakery downtown, but it is always too busy, so I never stop there. But, this location is awesome. They have a different menu than what I recall seeing at the other location. We went for the breakfast. We were a little disappointed to find that they do not have oatmeal or after 12PM on a Sunday (people are just getting out of church) which is a little disappointing. I got one of the sandwiches instead and I was not disappointed. The amount that you received was definitely fair for the price. My husband got one of the breakfast platters and was pleased with his meal as well. He happened to order a side of pancakes, I want to say that they were some of the best I have ever experienced. The moment that we sat down after placing our order, it was like the floodgates opened. The restaurant went from about 30% capacity to 98% within a matter of moments. The prices on kids meals are superb, I suppose that this is a reason why so many families opt to come there for a meal.

I love coming to this place. Today I had the chicken tortilla soup. It comes along with a side of garlic bread for dipping. The soup was seasoned just right. Not bland or salty. The bread is delicious. Reminds me of the garlic bread rolls they give you at a popular Italian restaurant chain(starts with an "O" =). After my meal I decided to have the lemon pound cake for dessert. Although the cake was yummy it tastes like a boxed cake. A damn good boxed cake but still. I'm giving this place 4 stars because it's always freezing in here. I would've definitely been too cold to enjoy my food had I not ordered soup. Oh! You can also place your meal ahead of time online for pick-up. Pretty awesome.

Being a frequent shopper in the Vinings area, I tend to dine in the same restaurants off Cobb Parkway and wanted to try something different. This Corner Bakery Cafe is located in the Akers Mill Shopping Center and is adjacent to the Chipotle restaurant, and so far I've been twice. There's seating inside the restaurant as well as an outside patio with a few tables. I decided to eat inside and was greeted upon entering the restaurant. During my first visit I was given a menu to look over food options before walking up to the cashier to place an order. The atmosphere was very nice and clean and while you wait, you can salivate over all the delicious looking treats they have to offer. The cashiers were very prompted and knowledgable about the menu enough to give their recommendations. I decided to go with the sandwich combo, which comes with half a sandwich, a side, and a drink. You're given a number to put on your table so that when your food is ready, the waiter or waitress can bring it to you ( kind of how they do it at Felini's, this pizza joint, but except with pictures ), and your cup to get your drink. The Chicken Pomodori panini on sourdough to be exact, was my sandwich choice with macaroni and cheese, hibiscus lemonade and the ginger lemon whoopee cookie ( during my second visit, I got the same panini and side, but with the old fashioned lemonade and the cream cheese brownie ). The brownie was good, the cookie was decent, both lemonades were really good, and the panini and mac n' cheese were divine. Very tasty! During both of my visits I dined in. Once to kind of peep the atmosphere and the second time to chill and read. I don't know if it's the former retail side of me that picked up on this very easily, but there were a TON of personal conversations going on between the staff. Some employees stood around talking near the registers to the point where most onlookers would think they're not working, and while I was seated, I heard a lot of complaining from one employee about being ready for someone to come back from their lunch break so that they could go on theirs, and overheard one employee complaining about how he didn't receive a tip. I get having sidebar conversations with your coworkers, aforementioned I used to work in retail, but while I was working in retail, customers were given surveys and one that I clearly remember was someone bringing up how personal conversations between employees comes off to customers and how they should be kept to a minimum in front of customers, especially when you're complaining about something. During my first visit, the waitress was very helpful and checked on her tables ( I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out ), and during the second, the young lady brought the found out and wasn't seen again. Customer perception is key. Anyways, Corner Bakery Cafe is a nice dining addition to the Vinings / Cobb Parkway area. I plan to revisit soon. #Yelp100

I was pleasantly surprised about this place! I wanted to go to Chipotle, and, of course, the line was unreasonably long. I went into Corner Bakery and the cashier was very helpful at making recommendations since I had never been there. I ended up getting the club turkey panini and loaded potato soup. Others have said the soups aren't very good, but the loaded potato soup was great! Much better than doc green's or other similar places. The total was about $9.00 which I also thought was good. Doc Green's would have been at least $5.00 more for the same type items. The club turkey panini was good, but I probably wouldn't order it next time. I'm not a big bacon fan, and it had lots of bacon and just didn't taste too healthy! Chips also came with the meal, and they were very good. Someone mentioned that they were too salty, but I didn't think so at all. The entire bag only has 95mg of sodium which is less than most of the other chips I get at Jimmy John's, etc. I will definitely be back! Tasty, reasonably priced, and relatively quick!

Good weekday dining spot that is close to the house. I ordered chili and it was VERY salty. He got the chicken parm special - it was okay. We'll come back and try their salads and sandwiches.

In town on business, I ate here several times in 3 days. Great food! Friendly service! I'm trying to count calories, and it helps to have calorie info on menu!

I love Corner Bakery Cafe. This one has a way to go before they're on par with what I've come to expect from this establishment. The coffee I like is always out, and when I ask one of the staff if they can refill it, I usually get a snotty response. There are a couple of staff that are sweet and truly enjoy their job, but most just roll their eyes when asked to do anything. I'm going to go ahead and change this from 3 stars to 2 stars because my food just came out and I'm still waiting on my coffee. The food is amazing though. My favorite is the cheese grits and the chilled swiss oatmeal.

Haven't dined inside yet, only picked up food twice. Great service and you can place your order online. The first time I ordered to-go, they forgot a portion of my order. I called them up about it and they offered to deliver the remainder of the order right away. Great customer service and delicious desserts!

Breakfast was good Order at counter and food is brought to you by server. Our server today, Crystal, was nicer than she had any business being.

I have never got to enjoy the Corner Bakery Cafe until moving to Georgia about a year ago. It's kind of like a Panera or St Louis Bread Co but MUCH better. I always get the roast beef and goat cheese and it is so good. I am craving it now! I always get it.... until last time... they don't make it anymore! I am devastated! I subbed a club panini and potato soup which didn't do the trick. Sure the panini was pretty good, it's so boring and simple. If I am going to pay $10+ for a sandwich is better have some sort of wow factor. Goat cheese would be a great example of this. Please go back to having more choices! For your niche, you really need more choices of salads, sandwiches and pastas. I was kind of disappointed. :( I will come back whenever the goat cheese and roast beef is back, until then it was nice to know you Corner Bakery Cafe.

Our family loves this place for Sunday brunch! Great breakfast scrambles, breakfast potatoes and pancakes. Food is much better if eaten at the restaurant rather than doing a to-go order. I prefer the breakfast items much more than the lunch items. My experience is that every breakfast dish I've tried is really good, but lunch has been hit or miss. My favorite lunch dish is the salad trio. The avocado salad is full of flavor! The staff is very friendly and are prompt to assist you. Definitely worth checking out!

Pretty good food. I only had it once but I would return. Servers were friendly and professional. They all moved quickly to clean tables soon as parties left. A big crowd but I was able to find a seat alone. Reminds me of a fancier Panera Bread. Entire meal +drink was $10.90 I loved the hibiscus lemonade. Never heard of it before but I'd drink it again. Good choice for lunch. Not overly filling although I had the dinner portion, no leftovers.
