A good friend recommended the food here. And the food was really great, but the service gave me a no way again review. We sat down and our server said he would be with us in a moment, after waiting for awhile. The place was not busy. Another server came take our drink order. We were ready to order and she took our order. She was very friendly, but she got some of our order incorrect. 1 person received the wrong food. They quickly got the food ordered after figuring out that it was written wrong on the slip. Food was delicious. But we waiting a long time for our food and drink. I ordered tea, and the drink server quickly got me a choice of very good teas. But I waited and waited for my hot water? Finally, we got the drinks. Then, finally the food. We had to find a server to get our check since we had to be somewhere at 4pm so we had to leave earlier than 4pm. It took more than 20 min to get our check- it took longer to fix the check because the salad was put on the check (that we didn't order). When we were given the check, we had to get my ordered price corrected. So, we were late for the show. I didn't talk to the manager but when my fiance talked to her, I saw here mouthing something as she walked away. She said she was taking care of the bill now- no apologies. We talked to the GM 3 times because we were having issues, and he did not follow through to make sure we were taken care of. Before we left, my fiance asked him why he didn't follow up (we asked him for an extra plate so his dad could share some food because we didn't get his food, we asked for a box, and the check). He said 'I assumed you were being taken care of." I've gotten better service at Zaxby's. I really wanted to come back for cheesecake but after the whole ordeal, no thanks. Food is good and my pasta had a wonderful wine-garlic sauce with tomato. I wish I could order it again, but never again, forever no more...

~First Visit~ I went here in Oct. with a friend we went just for the cheesecake. I ordered some carmel/chocolate cheesecake and he ordered the fresh strawberry cheesecake. I'm not a big cheesecake fan so needless to say my order didn't taste well. There was just too much whipped cream or something. However my friend's fresh strawberry cheesecake was PHENOMENAL! I felt guilty for eating half of it. ~Seccond Visit~ I went to Atlantic Station to check out the Versace for H&M line at H&M a few weeks back. However I found myself be pulled towards the bistro! Eventually my craving for the fresh strawberry cheesecake won. I ordered a to-go cheesecake to eat on my way home. And it was HEAVEN to my taste-buds. I finally made it home with barely any cheesecake left when ... I NOTICED A PATCH OF MOLD ON MY STRAWBERRY! So much for the "fresh" in Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake. And So much for my new found love in Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro... Though I still finished my cheesecake (Don't judge me it was good!), I will not be returning. (I have pics of it as well!)

We took ourselves to Atlantic Station for some shopping on a rainy Labor Day and were starving. I was feeling lazy and hungover and didn't want to go somewhere separate to search out some real good food that would blow my mind. Thus we just picked what we thought would be ok in Atlantic Station. And Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro was it. I was hoping that this place was related to Copeland's that I have been to a few times and liked it pretty much. I still can't tell if it was or not because it had some cajun dishes but also had things on there from every food style available. Like a Cheesecake Factory but trying to be partially cajun? I have no idea. There was crawfish, jambalaya, gumbo and then there were burgers, meatloaf, pot roast, and spaghetti? We were seated immediately and our waiter was very nice and recommended all kinds of things on the menu. I ended up with the pasta del mare which was shrimp, oysters, olive oil, garlic, and marinara over linguine and put in a bread bowl. I was hoping for some reason the sauce would be spicy but it was still ok. But not great. Nothing stood out and I couldn't really taste garlic or anything special. The oysters were almost non-existent. The bread bowl was overwhelming but I did like the chunks of bread at the bottom covered in sauce. It was ok but overall meeeeeeeehhhhhh. On the bright side though, the cheesecake in the case looked very delicious! The final verdict here is that it was meh. But if I lived here and was shopping and needed to please multiple palates I would give it another try and maybe try something more cajun in hopes that it would have more oomph!

Restaurant had a super-long hour wait and wasn't accepting open table reservations at the time. Checked in and tried to use the 20 percent off. My server wouldn't honor it. Food wasn't good, what a total waste!

Sat for a long time with no service, a server came by took drink order disappeared, we waited long enough and left to try California Pizza Kitchen. I have eaten at the one on Cobb and its completely different...this place is a joke and with all the other reviews basically same complaints it seems management could care less...sad...this one is closer to my home!

So I have not had cheesecake in such a long time and was really looking forward to some delicious turtle cheesecake. I have been here before and usually have a decent experience but this time the dessert was just poor. Have you ever had cheesecake without crust? In my humble opinion, the best part is the crust and I got a soggy piece of cheesecake that had more toppings on it than the actual cheesecake! I mean the poor little cheesecake was soaked with caramel and chocolate and I could barely taste the actual cheesecake. Truly I was very sad. It was the worst turtle cheesecake ever! For the price of the dessert, I expected so much more, but at the bare minimum a decent slice of dessert. And, unfortunately it was too late as I had ordered the cheesecake to go. If only I didn't live so far away...

I guess I went there expecting food like the Cheesecake Factory......Eh...the food is ok. I don't see myself breaking my neck to go back..maybe if someone else suggest ill go. Service was good, our waitress was sweet and attentive, drinks were good.

Copeland's has very good food, but the service is quite bad. We have been there 2 times now and each time it's taken nearly 2 hours to get through dinner. The waiting starts with trying to get a server to your table for your drink order, then the majority of the wait comes from waiting for the food. It takes a long time. So if you go, go with patience in mind, it will take a while. And it doesn't seem to matter which day you go. We went on a Saturday night the first time, so I expected it to take a little longer, but the second time we went on a Sunday and it still took a long time. The cheesecake is awesome and the food has a lot of flavor. They just really need to work on their service.

Service is bad. We came at 2pm and the restaurant was pretty empty but it took forever to get our food. Coffee was ok but took forever to make. White chocolate bread pudding was too sweet for my husband and he has the biggest sweet tooth. Also his plate was chipped. The firecracker shrimp was good. It did look better in the picture. The presentation was bad, but it was tasty. Overall, I wouldn't come back again unless the service was improved.

I love this place. Never really had a bad experience here. The food was really good and hot and my servers have always been attentive and personable. Nice atmosphere for an intimate dinner. But if you have multiple people it may be hard to squeeze through to find seating and you may need to yell to hear each other. Cheesecake flavors are awesome!

I go here bc I get seated quickly and I can count on the food being okay. They have never messed up my order and the pasta and burgers here are always a safe choice. The service here is better than rosa mexicano but it's more of a third date type of place you would go to bc everywhere else has an hour wait (prime or rosa are more like the pretentious awkward first date and yard house is the i like you you like me comfy spot) Obviously, the desserts here are good. This place is like a wannabe cheesecake factory, average overall and service is just ok. I'm always surprised to see people dressed up to go here though.

  • Corine W.

I personally have no complaints. Everything I've had here was good, which were mostly pasta dishes but I have to give the credit mostly to that delicious crawfish bake app they have..and a majority of my stars come from that. It's a must try. As for the service, nothing special. I don't remember having outstanding servers or one that totally didn't care but they were just doing their job pretty much.

What do the words bland, slow, unattentive, and uncaring all describe? Yep, this disaster of a restaurant. I should have known better but we went in anyway because we wanted to sit down for a meal. Bad choice, should have gone to California Pizza Kitchen as planned...stupid (slapping head)!! Everything started great but but went downhill fast. We ordered a glass of wine a piece and then put in our main dishes. I ordered the roasted chicken and my fiance had the spicy ginger shrimp. The waitress came back and stated they were out of the chicken so I ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna. The waitress forgot to either put a hold on the shrimp or to ask the kitchen to speed my order along because the shrimp arrived and then I got my dish 7 minutes after that. Are you kidding me?? The waitress did not even apologize, she just brought it to me and left like this was normal. Uncaring. And, about that wine...the wine arrived after our food. Um, what? Yes...our pre-meal drink (simply uncork and pour) took longer that our food. Slow. Boo! The shrimp was real tasty, it had a nice spicy sauce with a little rice and a few shrimp, although I feel it could have used a few more. My tuna was overcooked and hard. Bland. It's blacken seasoned and should have plenty of flavor and spice but it just missed the mark, very ordinary. Yelp saved the day with a 20% of check-in bonus, which we promptly used. However, they managed to make this an issue, too. The waitress did not know how to issue the discount or had to have her boss do the authorization but we watched her follow him around for about 4 minutes while she was trying to get his attention. And, she had my phone with her the whole time to show him the discount. Unattentive. This place failed miserably. 2 stars because it's not the worst experience I've had.

Where shall I start?? The entire staff is raaaatchet!!! I mean like west end tattoos kind of ratchet. I don't know what happened here but it didn't always have this vibe. Service isn't terrible but it's not the best "dining experience" to say the least. I've been several times and after my visit today I can say me and my friends will not be back. They have fried chicken & waffles on the menu..the chicken is mediocre the waffles are amazing!!! We wanted to order the waffles alone with a different entree bc as I said the chicken is mediocre! The server advised us that it wasn't possible. Why not? Considering you have waffles..and the ability to make them right? Sooo why is it not possible?? We weren't asking for anything free or discounted. Give me a waffle and charge me for it, period. What type of business in 2014 refuses to sell you something on the menu given? They have sides on the menu that you actually have to cook, steam, season etc. but somehow you're not able to sell a waffle?? Premixed batter that you place on an iron? It's not adding up to me at all. On to dessert, they have a waffle made from vanilla cake batter with ice cream and your choice of toppings. We asked if it could just be made with regular waffle batter and not the cake batter. Of course we were advised once again that it could not be done. I'm still pretty confused as to the reason behind it all? You have a business in which you're selling food in this case, I as a consumer am willing to pay for your product...what's the problem? You get your money and I get my waffle? Seems fair no?

We really wanted to try this place for a while. We had a 30 minute wait at 5 pm on a Saturday - which really make us think that this place was really popular. The food and service was OK. Portions were large. I was unimpressed with the wine selection. We unfortunately could not stay for dessert because of our tired infant who was with us. In regards to the infant - she was asleep in the stroller, and we were told that we had to take her out of the stroller to get to our seat. But there was a wonderful man (I think his uniform said "Bret Johnson") who realized our baby was sleeping and that we could take our stroller to the table. "Thank you!" You know who you are because I thanked you again on our departure from the restaurant.

In favor of minimizing the time spent under rain as we walked from parking, stopped here. The food is a joke, 4 medium shrimps on shrimp St. Charles, seriously? They gave lots of bread and macaroni, that's it. Anyways, just terrible.

This food is delicious and the service is magnificent! I had the crab stuffed ravioli and my friend had the fried ravoli with crawfish on top and his meal looked much better than mines. The food was good overall.

This place has quality cheesecake for more than the price of a Gucci bag at lenox. I do not recommend going here if you were looking for a simple dessert. 10$ for ONE slice of plain cheesecake seems a bit unreasonable. But hey, they are still in business so I guess people are buying them. I would rather go to Cheesecake factory where at least they are the original restaurant and not a knockoff selling at the highest prices. Yet it is conveniently located in Atlanta Station, But if you want cheesecake for dessert, I know Yard House has slice for 4$. Good & Cheap!

My wife and I had first gone to the Copeland's on Barrett Pkwy in Kennesaw and liked our time there, so we wanted to go to the one closer to our home in Atlanta. One of the reasons we went is because the bread that they give out before the meal is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the one in midtown does not give out any bread. That was a big let down! On the other hand the food was good. It was pricey, but it was good. I had the crawfish ravioli and it was mouth watering. The whole dish was flavorful and my wife started eating from my plate more than she was eating from hers. Her chicken marsala was also good, but not as good as the ravioli. May be going back, but the one in Kennesaw has the bread!

Used to have one in northern VA so was happy to find one in Atlanta during a visit. We started with blue crab claws I remembered from the previous restaurant. Had an addictive garlic butter sauce and soft warm bread with it. I'd like meatier claws but they were good. Then we wanted to try a bit of everything so we went with 5 small plates. The Cobb Salad was not great: overly drenched in dressing and needed more of the typical Cobb ingredients (seemed more a mixed green salad with a few chopped bits of avocado and few crumbs of bleu cheese). Shrimp New Orleans was wonderful -- loved the sauce and its bit of a bite (I'd even make it spicier because I like spicy food). Crab stuffed shrimp was ok. The breading was a bit thick. Crab stuffed ravioli was wonderful; came with 4 on the plate, but filling as they were along with all the other dishes it was the right portion. Forget the name of the last, but it had delicious steak medallions perfectly cooked (medium/medium-rare) and linguine with a light flavorful sauce. For us, service was fantastic -- a very friendly and attentive waiter, despite the busyness of the restaurant. It was a Saturday evening and the Saints game was on! So it was loud and fun, even in the dining area away from the bar. Someone looking to have extended conversation might not have liked that. But we didn't mind, and it was fun to watch the game on the big screen and enjoy it with others (sorry the Saints didn't win though). Definitely will return.

The food was great and the portions are not too bad for the price you pay. BUT! The service is slow. This is the second time I've been and it took forever to get our food, and it wasn't even crowded. If you don't mind waiting a lot longer than normal wait time for food, check it out. I wouldn't go if you're crunched for time.

I've never had a dull moment or dull food in this restaurant!! I've come several times over the years and have never been disappointed. Meatloaf sandwich is AMAZING!! Mac n Cheese wedge side is to die for!!! I will ALWAYS come back every time I am in Atlanta!!

We waited about 35 minutes to get seated because it was busy... not bad. Little did I know that Yelp offered a 20% off discount when I checked it!! SCORE! Our server was really nice and helpful. I ordered the shrimp ravioli but was torn because I wanted the spice that comes with sauce for the crawfish ravioli. She offered to request the spicy crawfish sauce over top of the shrimp ravioli! It was a winner and suuuuuper delicious! I would definitely go back and order it up again. I would like to say that I didn't eat the whole dish (which was huge), but I did. I mean, I offered my friends some so I guess I ate the whole dish less a few forkfuls!

The other and I tried to celebrate a raise here last Friday night. What. A. Disaster. This over-priced psuedo-Cajun food was all drenched in heavy unappetizing sauces. The cheesecake may have been the best part of our meal, but that isn't saying much, it wasn't that great either. We should have taken a hint from the kind of strange, not exactly appetizing, smell of the restaurant, but we decided to give it a try since the other had a good experience at a different Copeland a while back. Mistake. We should have just walked out and gone anywhere else.. I ordered a Hurricane, which came AFTER our Appetizer, right before the entree, after we reminded our waitress. The drink was weak and had nothing special about it, but I expect this from chain restaurants and that didn't bother me so much. What did bother me was our (admittedly nice) but inattentive service, and the bad food. Our appetizer, (the Crawfish bake or something like that?) was 12$, did not have enough bread on the side to dip, and had an embarassingly high ratio of heavy/cream, cheese, sauce stuff to the actual meat of the dish. Same thing with my Sashimi Tuna Salad. The tuna was pretty good, and I liked the Wasabi Vinegrette, but the salad itself was really embarassing. Like just iceberg, red cabbage and carrots salad hell, with a pretty nice cut of Tuna sitting on top of it. There were just two tiny pieces of avocado hidden in there. It was a disjoined and confusing dish, really disappointing. The other tried to order a pasta dish, but the waitress brought out some ridiculous looking "pizza bowl" instead, even after specifically telling the waitress that he did not want that. He ate it anyway since we didn't want to wait on them to fix it and eat our meal at separate times... The cheesecake was ok, but comparable to something you'd buy at the grocery store. Definitely not worth the prices they were asking. We won't be back anytime soon...Copeland's really needs to get their service quality and their food quality under control.

I came here with a friend for dinner before an 8:35pm movie. We walked in at 7:05, were seated promptly (although the hostess seemed to move very slowly, like she was thinking about every move she made real hard), and I decided to run to the restroom quickly before sitting down. The entire area around the bar, restroom, etc. smelled like damp, dirty rags. You know that smell, when you bunch up a wet rag, throw it in a corner, and forget about it for a few days. It was pretty awful. The food was okay; I thought it was overpriced. I had the Crescent City Chicken Wrap, while my friend had some pasta in some thick, heavy (and frankly, gross-looking) sauce with eggplant and shrimp. I sampled it and it was not worth $17. I ordered sweet potatoes as my side, but was brought onion strings. Luckily, the server just brought out a place with my fries instead of taking the entire plate back. I did try the strings, which were good but slightly too greasy. The sweet potato fries, though, were the best thing about the experience by far. They came drizzled with honey, were crispy and hot, and just all around delicious. The service was slow. And for apparently no reason, as the place was not crowded and there were servers all over the place. She brought the water pretty quickly, but after that, we spent more time waiting than eating. We were there for almost an hour before we got our food and seriously, we ordered a chicken wrap and pasta. How long does it take to cook those things?? The server disappeared for a while and as soon as she came around, I flagged her and asked for the check as we had a movie to catch. I guess she didn't hear me because she asked if we wanted a dessert menu. I mean, she was pleasant and all, but gosh, what a space case. Anyway, I wouldn't come back here. With all of the dining options at Atlantic Station, I'm sure there is something better than this place.

I love this place. I'm a bit shocked to see the low ratings. The food is great and you get plenty of it. The banana foster's cheesecake is the cream of the crop. This is one of my favorite places to eat at in Atlanta. My only issue is on a couple occasions I've gotten a couple rude servers, but they weren't so bad that they ruined my experience.

This place had great service and good food. The portions are BIG! So sharing is recommended ;) I had the Thai shrimp wrap and it was good but not great. But every other plate ordered tonight looked delicious. OMG please share a plate so you have room for bananas foster cheesecake, de- mutha- f-n-licous!!! (excuse my French) ;D

I don't understand the low reviews. The price is reasonable, it is what you expect in many Atlanta restaurants. The food was good! The service was even better. The owner comes around and personally ask how everything's is. Jordan is by far the best waitress I have ever had. Great restaurant!

I came here last weekend for a date. I ordered the jambalaya pasta and he ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo. They were absolutely amazing. Normally pasta dishes in restaurants are on the bland side, but not here. I didn't even leave room to try the cheesecake, but I will be back.

Copeland's touts itself as a Cheesecake Bistro with a cajun influence, but I'm still not necessarily sure exactly what that means. For all intensive purposes, this is a Cheesecake Factory with gumbo as a soup option. I'm not sure who came along first, but whoever it was is a clear victim of restaurant plagiarism. Food: Copeland's has an extensive menu comprised of American comfort food offerings to please most palates, including salads, pizza, sandwiches, wraps, seafood, steak, and pasta dishes. Similar to Cheesecake Factory, the entree portions are absolutely gargantuan and can easily be separated into 2, perhaps even 3, meals. However, their slices of cheesecake are approximately half the size of what you'd receive from Cheesecake Factory. Moreover, the ingredients aren't actually baked into the vast majority of their cheesecakes; for example, the white chocolate macadamia cheesecake is simply regular cheesecake with some white chocolate and a few macadamia nuts slathered on top. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with quality of any of the food at this restaurant; their drive for quantity over quality has rendered most of the dishes virtually flavorless. Service: This place is set up to herd patrons like cattle. From the moment you enter to the minute you leave there is an underlying feeling of being rushed. As such, the staff don't seem to be overly inclined to personalize the dining experience to any degree. Atmosphere: Incredibly loud, cramped, and aesthetically nauseating. The most random aspect is the glamour shot of the "founder" hanging near the front doorway. It doesn't state his name, but I personally think he's mildly reminiscent of Wayne Newman following a methamphetamine binge. Price: Overpriced for the quality, but not quantity, of the food. Most appetizers range between $7 and $10, while entrees range between $15 and $30. Other: Surprisingly, Copeland's does accept reservations that can easily be made online via OpenTable. There is typically at least a 30 minute wait for a table here on the weekends, but if you have a reservation they will seat you in less than 5 minutes.

Terrible food. Terrible service. Host named Carol was the rudest woman I've ever come across. I'm a black woman and hate to see other black women like Carol (with a bad, nasty attitude... like that's her natural demeanor - mad for no reason) make us look bad.

This past Saturday was my 2nd time coming. The first was last fall. We were a little rushed, so we had to take our food to go. I can't remember if the waiter took forever and a day, so I won't let that affect this review. Saturday, I went with my mom and 2 friends. We were all in town for an event. I think everyone was pleased with their entree choices. I ordered the crab and crawfish dip to start. It was quite good. I wish it had a thicker consistency, but all-in-all, it was not a bad dish. For lunch, I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. I was starving and wanted to go with something I thought I would like. The burger was tasty and the fries delish! And although I couldn't clean my plate, I did make room for dessert. I order the Butter Pecan Cheesecake, which isn't more than pecans and syrup on top of a plain slice of cake. But it was good. Our waitress, Amber, was amazing and even took our picture after the rude waiter we asked initially got snooty and walked away.

It would be so convenient for me to like this place, as I live within walking distance. However, it seems to consistently fail every time we try to give it a shot. Dowsed in heavy sauces and dressings, overpriced... the ambiance is similar to that you'd find in a Golden Corral. Our first visit to this restaurant, we invited my husband's mother to join us for dinner. I was totally embarrassed. Most recently we on a whim stepped in to get a drink, upon entering the restaurant -- BAM! The smell of watered-down, dirty sanitizer water accosted my nostrils. Gross. We made an immediate u-turn out the door. I think I've given up on this establishment. Both Copeland and his cheesecake bistro are ick.

I've been here a few times. The food is pretty good. I recently went here with 5 girlfriends and had a great experience. Our party grew from 4 to 6 right after ordering our food. They quickly changed us to another table and made sure the new party members got their food the same time we did. They also had a $7 lunch special going on where you got your meal in 15mins or less.

Well. It is a nice resturant to go out with hs & or college friends. I feel like it's a knock off of the cheese cake factory. I hate I always have to wait to be seated every time I go But when I order the cheesecake it cheers me up LOL. The service is 50/50

I've been here a few times in the past and each time has been a pretty good experience. I went with a friend this past Sunday evening for dinner. Normally there's always a wait here, whether you have a reservation or not, but we were able to walk in with no wait for once. The waitress was nice. Can't remember her name at all, but she had an interesting sounding voice. It was kind of child-like, and high pitched, but that didn't take away from her service, lol. It just took some time to get used to her voice......... I ordered the chicken, shrimp, and sausage penne, while my friend ordered the crawfish ravioli and the blue margarita. We've both had our dishes before and didn't feel like deviating from what we knew we liked, but I definitely want to try the crawfish ravioli next time, as she loved it. As for the blue margarita, it came in one of those fishbowl cups, and upon ordering it, my friend was informed that the requirement was that it must be shared. "We can't be responsible for what happens afterwards" was what the waitress said, or at least it was something to that effect. Basically, they felt like it was too much alcohol for one person to consume, so I agree to share it with her. It was pretty good. When you check into Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro from the Yelp app, you get to claim a 20% off coupon. If you're dining with someone and you're wanting separate checks and you both try to use this coupon ( we both have the Yelp app, of course ), you'll be told that the ticket has to be a certain amount . Now that I think about it, she never said what that amount really needed to be. Hmmmm...... Other than that, the food was great and service was fine. I'm sure I'll be back soon. #Yelp100

Came across this place when A taste Of Atlanta was going on one year and came back to town a few weeks later to try it out.Wait for a table for two was about 20 minutes and hostess was very pleasent and funny.Apps were hot and tasty when the main course came it hot and smokin' good! Suggest the wings for apps or main dish-they were sooo goood!

Maybe, it's just me, but this was my third time visiting and I just can't seem to get the right meal that'll suite my taste buds. I got the spicy Southern Fried Chicken. It smelled like Popeyes chicken. It tasted OK. I pretty much felt like I spent $14 on some bad Popeyes. Wouldn't order it again.

We went to Copeland's to celebrate a birthday and job relocation of two coworkers. Everyone in my group of five enjoyed their meals. I had the seafood platter with fried shrimp, oysters and fish. The seafood was very fresh, and flavorful. I highly recommend the seafood platter. It came with buttered french bread as well. They also let me opt for the macaroni and cheese in place of the fries with no additional charge. I loved the mac and cheese and it was enough to share! For dessert, I had the Hawaiian cheesecake which is now one of my favorite desserts. The service was good too. I will definitely return.

I recently planned a 65 person event (college fraternity) at Copeland's, and the staff here were great with accommodating us. David and Carol talked with me on the phone multiple times and dealt with a barrage of questions via email about the venue, timing, number of people, etc. David even helped us create a special menu that would fit our organization's budget for the evening. Everyone enjoyed the food, and Carol and David checked up with me multiple times throughout the night to ensure everyone was satisfied. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would definitely organize another dinner here.

Very Disappointed. The service was terrible, it completely ruined my experience and the hope for a decent meal. We went on a Monday afternoon thinking it won't be too busy, we should be able to get in and out pretty easy. There were about 3 other couples so we thought we'd be well taken care of. Our server comes over not too long after we're seated to explain the menu, asked if we had been there before, we expressed it was our first time and we were excited. She suggested some things and took our drink orders. The menu was very very expensive and nothing looked interesting to eat. Nonetheless, we were able to find something that caught both our eyes. I ordered a cheeseburger wrap and my boyfriend order the Thai shrimp wrap and asked if he could add bacon, the server in a rude manner gives him the "stank" face and says...I guess so. I know maybe it sounds out of the ordinary, but bacon goes good on anything, lol. She then leaves to put in our order...or so we thought. Another couple comes in maybe 20mins after us, gets menu's and the same introduction. Another 10mins or so pass by and we haven't been informed of any problems or issues with our food. I've noticed the couple that came in after us has now received refills on their drinks and appetizers. Now...there are mirrors all over the restaurant and I can see a plate of food sitting under a lamp for the longest time. I wonder to myself is that ours and they've forgotten about us? How could they forget, it's only a few couples in here...? I'm listening and very aware of what's going on around the place. The kitchen has an open feel, so we can see them cooking, talking and discussing, we have a clear view of everything. I then notice what appears to be the manager walk over to the kitchen staff and say why don't you know how to make a cheeseburger wrap, it's just a burger with cheese in a wrap! So now I've put 2 and 2 together, what's been sitting under the lamp is my boyfriends food which is probably cold now and what hasn't been made yet was my food, because the kitchen didn't know what ingredients to make it with. At this time, I'm now agitated. All off my frustration could have been prevented if the server would have apologized for the inconvenience or said sorry for the delay, but she chose to ignore us, which then raised a problem. I was ready to go, I had lost my appetite for food and the lack of good customer service. We then decided we are going to leave, we are missing our movie and I'm mad. We get out money to pay for our drinks we are just going to say thanks but no thanks. She finally brings our unappetizing food to the table, throws it down and walks away, still doesn't give an explanation, doesn't ask can I get you anything else...nothing. We sit there for maybe 5mins, not touching a thing, looking around for our server, she's disappeared. The manager must have felt the heat ragging for my body because he walks over, says I understand your food took a while (no shit Sherlock) and I apologize, I will pay for everything, it's on me. We say no thank you, we are no longer hungry, we are missing our movie, we'll just pay for the drinks and go. He understood, he was very nice and apologetic and polite to offer a to-go box but we still didn't take the food though, at that point we were through. Can you believe that damn server comes back, says well...what are yall gonna do? Like we did something wrong, put her in a bind and inconvenienced her, we just explained we'll pay for the drinks, she then says FINE in the rudest manner and walks away. Needless to say I'll never go back there, for the horrible service, it will be my first and my last time visiting Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro in Atlantic Station. And if you get a server named Melinda or Melissa (couldn't remember it, because she was barely around, but she's got brown and blonde dreads) request another table, please. And..even though we only paid for our drinks, we are always good customers, never complainers, we left $8 for a coke and a sweet tea for the crappy service.

I've always experienced good food and service here. $14 for a marguerita was a bit much because it wasn't that good. It's not a place I'd be rushing back to visit. I've been here 3 times and I think that's enough.

It's okay too crowded and congested for me.I couldn't even hear myself talk. The tables are too close and the food portion is more like appetizers and too small of a cheesecake selection for me. Service was good though.

Food is good when you don't find plastic in your entrée. Banana Foster cheesecake is amazing. If it wasn't for the unexpected particles in my food on different occasions, I'd rate it higher.

Find a new hostess and bar staff STAT! Last time we went to this place, we were in a bind and needed a quick meal. Sat at the bar and received pretty mediocre service from our bartender with the shaved head. Nothing special at all. Not sure why we would return. For someone reason, we decided to return last night (December 19th). We must have been starving. This most recent visit, we took a seat at the tall tables in the bar area, rather than sitting directly at the bar. We sat there for 10 minutes as we watched our old shaved head bartender waiting on tables around us. He avoided us entirely. Then we saw a foul looking hostess (personality-wise) walk past us. Nobody said a word to us, or brought water, or menus, or anything. It was pretty much like we were two ghosts sitting at a table. After 10 minutes of being ignored and with no sign of things improving, we decided to leave. However, I made a stop at the front desk to ask the oh-so-pleasant hostess how things were supposed to work in the bar area. I explained that we'd been sitting there for 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement from anyone, including her when she walked by. She told me that we were in the wrong because we needed to be seated in this area by her and that it was not an open seating area (unlike virtually every other bar area in the country). I asked her why no one said anything to us, including her, if they knew we were "illegally" sitting in this area. She responded, "It doesn't matter because you should've seen me first. If you had done that, you wouldn't have had an issue." Wow. Really? Were you actually trained to be this rude? In case anyone cares (management, this is for you), this hostess had a curled mix of blonde and black hair. Wait.... what's that tick-tick-tick I hear? Oh, yeah.... it's the time this place has left before it fails and permanently closes its doors. Can't happen soon enough.

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOUR ORDERING JUST CHEESECAKE!!! This place was not good at all, the food I ordered what eh shrimp Alfredo pasta which looked like a clump of mess that my friend and I both returned the pasta was veryyyyyyyyyyyy cold and the shrimp looked "peculiar" ....thankfully we returned it but the waitress we had, had a MAJOR attitude and kept tellin us about her life and how she is from Kansas and "get's down"...which was HIGHLY inappropriate, I wish i remembered her name!! Once again we ordered something else, and the food was very disappointing and I called it quits and nibbled on my friends strawberry cheesecake which was delish! (hence the one star)...if you can go anywhere else but here!!

Service is slow. Not sure why, but a weekday lunch here will almost always take you at least a full hour, but normally longer. However, had decent service this time that was responsive and quick, but the meal still took about 1:10 minutes from sitting down to leaving the place. Our waiter was solid, but its a grab bag coming in here. In terms of the food, I had no complaints. The portions are enormous. The gumbo is decent. I ordered a chicken bacon and avocado club, paired it with some sweet potato fries and an Arnold Palmer. Pretty delicious, and more than enough for one meal (took the other half back home for dinner). Decent food, 3 stars because this place is average.

Every time I go here I get the same thing. I think it's the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, it's really good. I never can find anything else on the menu that I want. My mom and I shared spinach dip as our appitizer. She loves spinach dip but didn't care for theirs. It was okay to me. The last time I went here was on Mother's Day. The wait wasn't bad and was actually pretty good considering the holiday. However, our server had waayy too many tables. I felt bad for him. Not once did he refill our drinks. And they needed refilling, especially my brother's because his was empty. I actually forgot to order a different type of pasta then the one it comes with like I usually do, but I forgot and had to change once it came out. It took FOREVER just to get my pasta and he bought out penne pasta, the dish didn't even come with penne pasta. All I asked for was a different type of sauce on the pasta, not a completely different type of pasta. We ended up having to get the manager because we didn't want my pasta to take forever again. The manager was extremely nice and had a brand new dish out for me in 5 minutes. He even gave us our cheesecake on the house. I've been here before and it's a nice place to go to. I recommend it, we just went on a hectic day. They just really over sat our server. Once he saw we got the manager he never came back to wait on us, and we were still there for a while after getting the manager. The manager even had to get the bill for us. I didn't tip him as great as I usually would but I did leave him better than he deserved. I was a server years ago and for some reason I really sympathized with him. Even other customers at nearby tables were complaining about him :(.

I ordered the crawfish ravioli and was disappointed. Despite the rather high prices, this place seems to stretch the food by giving obscene amounts of bread with dishes, as was the case with mine. The fried ravioli were doughy and just too much to handle. The crawfish sauce was nice, but a little too salty. Save your pennies & go somewhere else.

Wanna eat shopping mall food? Eat in a mall. This place is awful. IHOP style plastic menus with pictures no less. It's like some sort of spacial rift where your in downtown ATL but somehow eating in Gwinnett.

I had made my reservation an hour before and when I got there I didn't have to wait. My waitress was very friendly and quick with our food. The food was worth the money. I really enjoyed it plus I was able to get 20% of for checking in on yelp.

I went back here thinking I'd be able to give more stars than the last time, but instead, I'm doing the opposite. Once again, the bar ruined my experience. This visit was on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was PACKED. since I was dining alone, I didn't have to wait long, but the hostesses had a look of panic on their faces like they'd each have a meltdown if someone else walked through the door. Well guess what, girls? you're in the middle of a busy district on a weekend... DEAL WITH IT. Once I was seated, I was greeted promptly by my very polite and handsome server. Once again, I could only see ONE bartender in a crowded house. WTF is the deal with that? Asked for my drink... the same as from my previous visit, and it was NOTHING like it was that time. It was just... hell naw. all I needed to do was LOOK at it and see everything that was wrong. I tried to be nice about it and just deal, but I had to send it back after taking a sip. It tasted wrong, just as I'd imagined, and it wasn't even chilled. What I got back was STILL wrong, but my food had already arrived and I just wanted to eat and get out at that point. I am toying around with the idea of going back and not ordering anything that needs to come from the bar. That seems to ruin my experience every time so far. We'll see.

Went on a Saturday for lunch. We got the onion strings as our appetizer and I had the chicken marsala as my entree. The onion strings were good, but the chicken marsala was just OK. Service was average. We sat in one of the booths next to the kitchen and for some reason, we kept smelling this horrible stench. Not sure where it was coming from, but it smelled like they had just mopped up a floor or something and the mildewy odor was spilling over to our table. Very unappetizing.

I have been to this restaurant before. I went on May 11, 2013 as a treat to my mom prior to attending the Titanic Exhibit at Atlantic Station. I sat in the bar area because the restaurant was very busy. My waitress was just plain rude and did not have the personality of your typical waitress. She was horrible. DO NOT SIT IN THE BAR AREA! DO NOT SIT IN THE BAR AREA. I was pleasant and did not complain by I will never go to this restaurant again. The service in Atlantic Station is usually excellent especially at California Pizza Kitchen and Strip. I tried to flag down the manager and he did not hear me or ignored me. Plus this restaurant does not validate parking. I recommend going to another AS restaurant and stopping here to pick up cheesecake to go.

i like this place. for various reasons. 1. i love the brownie a la mode. 2. i love the chicken avocado club sandwich (with no bacon). 3. i love the Sandy Ass drink. yum. 4. i've only had problem with the service one of the 20+ times i've been there. i will return. and, it's always a good stop when we're walkin around the shops. the wraps are a bit -... well, i don't like the wraps personally. the ingredients are good, but the bread is pita, and many times, it is hard and rubbery. so i stay away from them. their mac and cheese is also realllllllllllly good! i just wish they had a coat rack at the end of the booths.

I visited Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro last Saturday with my mom. We had just finished shopping & cleaning up/arranging my condo when we decided to walk over to get something to eat. Immediately when I walked in, I thought wow imitation Cheesecake Factory, but maybe the food would be good. We were seated immediately and then our waitress who left a lot to be desired came over. Admittedly the food was good, I had the thai chicken wrap with onion straws - very tasty, mom had a cheeseburger also with onion straws. Then we got a piece of cheesecake with fresh strawberries to go. Our food came out pretty quickly; however, for this place to be "competition" to Cheesecake Factory, the wait staff needs to step up their game. Food was good, service was poor.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Here's the thing: The food is great. Big portions, prepared well. The drinks are delicious. But the service. I could have handled our waitress' lack of caring. I could have dealt with the fact that the tables around us were being visited, but we didn't even get a water refill. I was going to order another round, but when I'd been sitting there for 10 minutes with no service, I said, forget it. The waitress finally came over and I just asked for water. It took five minutes. Our waitress was hanging around the kitchen, flirting it up with staff, in plain view. She just didn't care. I could have handled ALL of that, if it weren't for this: While walking back to our table to deliver the check, our waitress, while gossiping to another waitress, said that someone (I don't know who it was) was "so totally retarded." Okay. I know that not everyone is offended by the word "retarded," but I am. Utterly. And even if I wasn't, to use a derogatory term like that in front of patrons is absolutely appalling. I will not be going back. And I've told everyone I know the same.

Not bad, open late. What can you expect? We had the Meatloaf with a spicy gravy which was very good. We also had the crab and shrimp Salad and a piece of the Dulce Cheesecake. Both were good, but not great. I actually used a $25 gift Certificate on the meal, so for $20 I cannot complain. Overall it looks a bit like Cheesecake, but the place is much dirtier. Everywhere from the floor, to the time it takes to clean the tables, to the restrooms were dirty. be forewarned!

Terrible service. It really was a tale of two cities at this restaurant. We waited for over 20 minutes for water. 45 plus minutes for food to arrive. The table next to us (3 people) was given water within 2 minutes and their food was on their table under 18 minutes. Our table had 6 people and we were all given our food at different times. When we asked for condiments the server held it out about 3 feet away from the table and waited for me to put down my fork and stop eating to reach for it. I saw her place it on the table for the people at the table next to us. She didn't make them stop eating to reach for things. When I asked for a second condiment, she held it out about 3 feet away and waited for me to reach for it again. I was tempted to ask her why she treated the table next to us so differently. Food was great for half of our table but my shrimp had a distinct fishy taste. I had the same plate about a month ago and the shrimp was delicious. Something was clearly different this time. We still tipped 20% but to be honest it was the first time I ever left a restaurant upset that I paid that much. I was so tempted to tip accordingly but in the end I just caved. I'll just never go back.

I went here waaaaay back. The cheesecake was the best I have tried, the crust really nails it. I had something Alfredo once and a parmesan chicken and pasta dish, both very good. Maybe it's went down since I have been but I thought it was great.

Dessert display case was dirty inside; I told the hostess and no one came to acknowledge or apologize for this oversight. My water glass was dirty; wine order took a while; thank goodness the wine glass was larger than normal, I needed a drink by then. Meatloaf sandwich: meat was burned, like charcoal. I sent it back; did not have time to wait for another one, so left hungry. My friend's Cuban sandwich was paper thin, unlike a real Cubano.

Had the Black and White Tuxedo cheesecake for dessert and it was amazing!!! Food and service were good, similar to a Cheesecake Factory, but better. It's a little dark for my taste, but other than that I liked the decor. Not a place to go out of your way for, but if you are in the area, not a bad choice.

I thought I was at the Cheesecake Factory. The C.F. is not my favorite but they have a farm fresh salad with beets that I like. So I was sitting at the bar going through the menu and I had this a-ha moment when I realized that I was not at the C.F... Not sure how this place can stay in business considering that the concept is stolen from the C.F. The Good: ummmmmmmmmm...the frozen bar is kind of neat. The Bad: Food and service are awful. I ordered the pizza and salad combo. The salad was doused in cheap balsamic and was inedible. The pizza was a big glop of mozzarella that was also inedible. We should have gone to California Pizza Kitchen.

the first time i came here with a friend, we had just been shopping and we were both craving cheesecake. we decided to make a quick stop and get a slice to go. we ordered the bananas foster cheesecake to split, and went home to eat it. upon opening the styrofoam box, we realized it reeked of something burnt with a tinge of cigarette smoke. we figured it might have been just the box, and we transferred our slice of cheesecake to a plate. when we started eating it, we then realized that the entire cheesecake tasted like chemicals with an aftertaste of cigarettes. we couldn't believe we just dropped $7 for that slice of cheesecake and we had to throw it away. there was no way we were finishing that! after that horrifying experience, i came here a second time with my family to eat lunch. i (incorrectly) assumed that because i wouldn't be ordering the cheesecake, it would be safe to try this place out again. we (again, incorrectly) assumed that this experience would be something similar to eating at the cheesecake factory. how wrong we were. our food took way too long to get to our table. our waitress was rude and inattentive. my dad ordered a salad, only to find a large bug in it. our waitress simply took the plate, brought it in the kitchen, took the bug out, and brought it straight back to our table without so much as an apology. they didn't even bother to make him a new salad - but then again, if we had requested that, it would probably have taken another 30 minutes to wait on it. the rest of our food was too salty and looked as though they had just microwaved frozen dinners and slapped it onto a plate. my brother ordered a cheesecake, and it was bland. needless to say, i will not be returning to eat here again.

NEVER AGAIN! I think the most attractive quality about this restaurant was that we got seated rather quickly for it to be so packed on a Friday evening...but once we got seated, the nightmare began. James, our server, started out so well.. I ordered a sangria and he recommended their new sangria on the menu, but it was awful and I didn't want it anymore. I asked for a glass of red wine instead and that was fine. He ordered a French onion soup, and an ENTREE of chicken Caesar salad, was brought to me was a plate of stringy onion rings and a SIDE chic Caesar salad. He was clearly annoyed when I brought it to his attention and for the remainder of the evening, he was only addressing my sister and NOT ME... not to mention he was not appropriately dressed to be serving customers. I shouldn't have to look at our waiters jeans half-way down his "back-side". Our table was not leveled and squeaked during the entire dinner.. Also, the menu options is so limited... What a waste of a Friday evening after a rough week!

I'm scared of Atlantic station now that I have grown up a little bit. It's the mall, oh wait no it's an apartment complex, but not really it's a adult Disneyland. What ever it is, I'm not a fan. I've been to the Copland's here twice and each time I really only remember two things, the portions and the other portion that doesn't count in the last descriptor because it was too small. I got the Rotisserie chicken and I remember that the service was very nice but we waited for on hour, got a snow cone, read the first chapter of Moby Dick and power-walked Atlantic Station's perimeter before we were seated. I had good company and saw a hilarious movie after the fact but Copland's didn't exactly stick as a pleasant experience.

Please stay away! Stopped for lunch because the place looked nice from the outside. Never judge a book by its cover! We ordered a spinach and artichoke app. The slicea of bread swimming in so much salty seasoning it was inedible. Same thing with the extremely fried artichockes. The actual dip was just OK. For entree, I got a shrimp and supposedly fresh crab salad. I could tell that the shrimp was frozen and the fresh crab meat was canned. No flavor to anything and the crab smelled. The socalled Louis dressing tasted exactly like thousand island dressing. Neither my husband nor I could finish our food and I can only tell you that two hours later it made me quite sick. But what made me really sick was the bill...57 dollars with tip(which they recommend between 18-20%. Seriously?? I really feel I should get my money back. I even saw some people contemplating the menu as we were leaving and I wanted to tell them NOT to eat there...it is THAT bad.

I was on a business trip in Atlanta a few weeks ago and wanted to have a nice meal. I walked around this outdoor mall in the snow and it was really cold and wanted to warm up. The other places in the area were really dark, so I have to confess I picked this one because it didn't look like I needed a flashlight to walk in and then eventually find my food. I am not a fan of dark cave dining and any place that is that dark is either hiding something or has ugly food. There, I said it. I walked in, was seated immediately. My waiter was really polite and did a great job getting me water and a nice glass of wine. The service was amazing! Then I spied nirvana on the menu. Fried crawfish ravioli with a spicy cream sauce and crawfish ladled on top of the cream sauce. And now a moment of silence. And another. The silence continued as my fork kept grabbing those tasty morsels and I snarfled them down. Fortunately I was alone so no one was injured during this feeding frenzy. Great service and good food!

I went here with a friend while we were taking a short weekend trip in Atlanta and the food here is great! I got the crawfish ravioli and I fell in love. I was hesitant about getting the ravioli, but the waitress recommended it and I was glad with my choice. Although the waitress was nice, service was kind of slow at the beginning. My friend and I were very thirsty and we didn't get our drinks until our meals came out.

Just went here for second time and I was starving after waiting 1.5hrs. I guess it's the pre-Valentine's day crowd. I ordered the Pasta Del Mar (may be mispelled) and it was ok. I enjoyed my bf's jambalaya waaay better. I also recommed the crawfish ravioli. Many ppl at the bar were ordering the "crash and burn" HUGE fishbowl drink. It def was meant to be shared, but these lush ppl were drinking it by themselves! I refuse to spend $15 on a drink. Newayz I was to stuffed to try their yummy looking cheesecakes, maybe nxt go round.

What-Ever (DOUBLE-YOU). The booth we sat at STUNK of BO. The waiter was uppity. The coffee was so bad! I mean ... BAD! It is like like $4/lb type of drip coffee! Have they had some of the more decent coffees you can get at the grocery store, not to mention a gas station!?!? I wont even compare them to a real coffee house even though they are trying to be a dessert-drinks-coffee place The cheesecake was mediocre. Kinda hard to make a bad cheesecake - salt, sugar, fat, starch - everything that a taste-bud can consider indulgent. I have made better cheesecake just squishing around some Philly with sugar and putting it on a graham cracker. I ordered some "triple chocolate liquor coffee" with Godiva liquid chocolate and two others that are probably a lie as well. After a 15 min wait, the guy brings me a 8-oz glass coffee mug with an ounce of a translucent syrup and pours THE SAME bad coffee that he left for my dinner companions! What?!?! Are you serious?!?! Where are the three different exotic liquid chocolates?!?! And this is 9 bucks!!! We were with two other people at this place who were visiting us who only said nice things about everything they saw and did in Atlanta so I will not take their complements of the coffees and espresso they had seriously. I am SURE it was not worth the $15 paid for that. I feel so bad for all the other the people who were in this restaurant. They seemed like such nice people. It was packed on a balmy Saturday night but everyone was so polite even though our waiter was sassy. They should not have had to experience horrible place. Never again for me.

Worst place I have ever been to. Horrible service and horrible food! They messed up on two orders in my party in two different occasions. In addition they had to break my party down into two differrent tables. We asked to be seated together and for whatever reason they could not do it. 5 mins later another party arrives and guess what... They were able to seat a slightly bigger party then us, together. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN!

OK food but a little overpriced and super slow! Two of us in for lunch on a Wednesday at one pm. Restaurant not even a quarter full and we ordered salads and soup. Took 45 minutes to get our soup! Group behind us was also complaining to the manager about the long time to get food. Server was good but kitchen was letting him down. Won't return. Too many other places in the area to try.

I really don't know what to say about this place. This was my first time coming here. It was a large group because it was for a birthday lunch on a Saturday. so i don't know if the bad service was b/c of the large group or the restaurant. We got there at 1:15 and weren't sat until 2 something. Needless to say i was starving. we sat down and much to my surprise our waiter came by and i instantly remembered him as being an actor on A Different World-awesome! he came and told us b/c we had such a large group he would try and get all of our orders correct by numbering us. he took our drink orders, which took about 20 minutes to come back to us. only 1 of us ordered an alcoholic order, that came out in under 5 minutes! I just don't understand that. then he came and took our food orders w/o a hitch. another 15 minutes passes and I'm amazed that they don't serve bread...crackers...oyster crackers...cookies...hell something. I AM HUNGRY HERE!!! What they did do was bring out a nice happy face for the each of the kids in our party. the eyes were whole strawberries, the mouth was slices of bananas and they had 2 oranges as something. My 14 month old loved it. she didn't even share! When the food finally came, i hated that it came in shifts. the person sitting next to me was 1/2 way finished with her food b/f mine came out. The waiter took our orders in sequential order but the food came out so random. the birthday girl was the last to receive her food. common courtesy would have been to wait-but hell, i was too hungry for decency. on to the food... the majority of the table had the BBQ shrimp linguine. i really didn't like it. but i did LOVE the cheese pizza bowl it was served in. the bread was so good and sweet, but not too sweet. and it had the right amount of sauce from the linguine on it. i had a piece from everyone's plate. I had the chicken, shrimp and sausage penne. it was really really good. i didn't have to season it at all. the shrimp was really bland. i asked our waiter if i could have mine served in the pizza bowl and he said it would be $4.00 extra. yeah...so i skipped that. my pasta had this tomato basil sauce on it, that was delectable. i would definitely go again just to order this. my other friend had the shrimp, crab and avocado salad. it was really really good. the shrimp...again were bland, but the avocado was sliced thick and was so fresh and good. the meal was lunch portion, so it wasn't big or filling. but it was good. I looked over the cheesecake menu and decided to go with something non-complicated- the cookies and cream cheesecake. it was good. it had oreos in the cheesecake, i wasn't expecting that. i thought it would only have them as the crust, which was also the case. next time I'll get the one with peanut butter and chocolate. i really don't like an overload on chocolate, but i love me some peanut butter. I'm really undecided about this place. it took 35 minutes for them to get our bills correct, this i guess is kind of understandable b/c we had such a large group. my verdict... go here, but not with a large crowd. food-good. service-bad.

We were looking for some place that was serving brunch without a wait. We found it. Pros...brunch was good. Server was very nice, but didn't know much about the menu. I guess that's a pro and con. :) There wasn't a wait either because the restaurant is pretty large. Cons...brunch menu was very small and unless you wanted your eggs covered in spicy, cream sauce...you really only had a few options. Coffee cups were huge...making it impossible to keep your coffee hot. I know that sounds like a strange con, but it's the truth. After we ordered something from the bar...after 15 minutes of waiting (and us having to ask about where our drinks were)...the server says that the bar was closed until 1230p. I realize that GA has alcohol laws on Sundays, but it would have been nice if the server told us the ETA sooner. The server seemed confused himself...said he was telling all of his other tables it was noon. Have a feeling he had a lot of upset people. :) Overall...if you're at Atlantic Station and want eggs...you can get them there. It's not that expensive and you won't leave with a stomach ache. But next time...I'm going to lunch somewhere else.

Extremely friendly and courteous staff. The food was very fairly priced for the good quality. They even honored mmy check-in coupon for 20% off our meal, a definite plus!

Went here out of desperation, but with an open mind... we were starving and stranded at Atlantic Station, and the menu sounded okay. The hostess did not take our name or give us a buzzer, saying she'd seat the two of us "in a second." 20 minutes later, no seating, and parties of four or five being seated. Turns out, the hostess just forgot about us (despite staring at us in the face for the past 20 minutes). Duhhh! Finally got seated. The waiter was super friendly and upbeat, but even he could not save this waste of a meal. Not only did they mix up our sides, but the food was nasty. Everything was brown, fried, devoid of flavor, with unappetizing texture... frankly, instead of food, I'd call it "slop." I am not a terribly picky eater, and I don't like wasting money, but I just could not bring myself to eat my meal. Bye bye $10. Skip this poor imitation of the Cheesecake Factory. I would have been better off buying 10 "McDoubles" off the McDonald's Dollar Menu than wasting my money at this place.

I was visiting friends in Atlanta this weekend and after a long day of sight-seeing we decided to have dinner at this Cheesecake Bistro. I thought it was going to be an off-brand imitation of The Cheesecake Factory but I was wrong! The only thing in common was the cheesecake...this restaurant seemed more up scale and the food was delicious! We were a party of six and we all sampled each others food. There were no complaints. The pastas are excellent!

We were seated right away. I had the jambalaya open faced omelet and it was OK. The eggs were a bit over cooked but the food came quickly and the waiter was on the ball.

The bartender, a heavy set woman, was rude and very unpleasant. We would have sat at the bar, but she acted like we were unwelcome. We decided to sit at a table. The hostess was also rude and seemed like, once again, we were annoying her and unwelcome. However, the waitress, Asia, was AWESOME! So friendly and fun. She made our expirence worth it. The food was good, however the ribeye was over cooked. It took over 20 minutes for the refire for a medium steak. The first one was thin, not at all a good value. We passed on the refire. The manager was friendly and nice, but being that this was our first time there, chances are we won't be back. Sorry Asia!

My friend and I had dinner at a near by spot called fishhook grille, it was delicious ( a seperate review) and we decided to get dessert at Copeland's. I ordered the snicker cheescake and she ordered the original strawberry cheesecake, absolutely AMAZING! I loved the flavor and richness of the cheesecake, it was so worth the drive and money! I must go back for dinner next time and of course dessert! Great spot for a dinner date next time!

Met a friend for lunch there two days ago. Bar area where we were seated had a musty smell, like damp clothes left too long in a washer. Unsavory. Service was friendly, but slow and rather inattentive. Friend ordered fries, and I ordered a spinach salad, and it took nearly thirty minutes for our food to arrive. My salad was limp-- almost withered--spinach drenched in balsamic and oil. I ate less than half of it and pushed it away. Server checked in once, I think. Getting the check and paying was slow. Admittedly, I did not express any feedback to the staff during my visit. Probably won't return there.

Average food+slow/nonexistant service=move on. Went here for lunch the other day. The restaurant was busy, but not crowded. My date and I sat down to a table as soon as we entered. What followed was a series of delays in all portion of the meal. The waitress was slow to come over, the food was slow, the dessert was slow...The check was not even picked up for 10 minutes. In the end, my friend got up AND HUNTED the waitress down to give her our bill so we could leave. Next time I want designer cheesecake, it's going to be to go!

I have visited this location in Atlantic Stations on several occasions prior to today, but never have I had such horrible service. We came to celebrate my sister's birthday. When we arrived we waited to be seated while several other patrons came after us but were seated prior to us. After waiting for about 15 minutes we decided to ask how long the wait would be. It was at this time that the hostess said "Oops I forgot to put your name down" even though our party was standing directly in front of her at the hostess stand the entire time. After we ordered, my sister's drink order came to the table incorrect as well as another dessert that was ordered. The dessert that I ordered did not even make it to the table until after our waiter brought our bill and I asked if it was still coming. When it did come, the ice cream on top was all melted, so I asked for another one. Our waiter then asked if we were paying separately and we told him that we were and what checks would be together. Then the waiter told us he could not divide our bill so in an effort to make it easier for him we gave him three credit cards and one cash payment in order to pay the bill. That took about 20-25 minutes. The first time we actually saw the manager was when we noticed that him stepping in to assist our waiter at the register. Not once did the manager come to our table to see how we or any of the patrons were doing, yet there were several large parties dining at the time. After being upset at the time it took for us to receive our credit cards and change back, a couple of us mistakenly left the food we wanted to take home on the table. When I returned to get it (less than 5 minutes later) I was told by the hostess to go find my waiter or look on the table. After a quick glance at the table and sweep of the floor for the waiter, I told her that I did not see either. Her response was "Oh well." The manager then came out again and supposedly checked to see where the left food was and returned empty handed. It was sad to see that our food was thrown away so soon after our departure without one person considering that we may return to retrieve it (especially since we had just forked over more than $150), but honestly I believe it was out of spite. In sum our entire dining experience took well over 3 hours which is unacceptable. I would at least have expected some sort of an apology, or even a "Thank You for dining with us" but sadly received neither. We also noticed the dirty dish rag smell others have commented on. Not a good look when you're trying to eat.

I really enjoyed the meal that I had, which is why I gave it 4 stars. The wait was an hour which felt like two in the heat. The buzzer they gave us had a small area of reception so when you wait you are not able to stray very far (I would have preferred a phone call on my cell). The waiter was overwhelmed and our table felt a little neglected along with the others he had. Next time I will try on a weekday or just get take out.

Well I have gone here before and the food was ok. I seen that on Thursday that children eat free so my son and I went. We ordered our food and drinks. The drinks came fast. And the waiter was nice. I sat where I can see the food when it was ready and sitting under the light. I watched my son's plate sit there for 10 min plus. Then the waiter brought my food. Then ten more minutes I got my food and it was "Ice Cold" ( in my Andre 3000 voice". Ugh I don't think I will go back again.

One of the first things that I've always noted about this place is that it is virtually ALWAYS crowded to a squeeze in the door. My husband and I were there to celebrate an Anniversary, and I'd say for how crowded it looked, we were seated averagely quickly, for what we expected anyway. I'd say about 15-20 minutes. What they lack in space they make up for in great service. I was so overwhelmed with the different meals and really wanted to try something different, and the waiter had no trouble helping and suggesting where he could. The wait time for the food was average, but he did well to keep our water glasses full which is something simple and yet wonderful in my opinion in a crowded eatery. Finally, he was very patient to let us digest a bit before we scuttled out the door after a very proportioned seafood platter and my husband with a finely fit Parmesan dinner! Service is great, room and noise level isn't so much. But if you can get passed that, you're in for a pretty good dining treat there!

My husband, his family and I decided to try this restaurant while we were at Atlantic Station. There was a wait when we arrived so they texted us when the table was ready, except when we went up there we waited for another 10 minutes! When we finally sat down, our server came over and took our drink order and told us her shift was over so someone else would be taking over. The new waitress didn't make it over for at least 15 minutes after we had been sitting down, which I thought was rude. And when she did she was very unprofessional and not somebody I would want working in my restaurant. But anyway, we ordered and about 45 minutes later our food finally arrived. I ordered the chicken thai wrap or something like that and my husband had an overpriced salad. The only thing that looked like it might be good was the seafood platter my in laws ordered. The service from the beginning was horrible and the food wasn't anything special. I would have rather gone over to Rosa Mexicano across the street where the service and food are exceptional! Wouldn't recommend this place.

This was my 2nd time visiting Copeland's Cheesecake. The 1st time I went, I was impressed with everything from our waiter, selection of food, and time it took to getting our food. However, this time was a little bit different. I'm not sure if it had to do with the time of day we went but the service was not so great. Our waiter was bland. There was no personality and basically he was going through the motions of just "being a waiter". The food took FOREVER to come out! Almost 40 minutes! When our food finally came, I was a little bit pleased. I ordered the Thai Shrimp Wrap and it was pretty good; a huge serving and A LOT of shrimp, almost too much shrimp and not enough fixins. The wrap was falling about and I thought to myself " Did someone order this and decide that they no longer wanted it?" because it wasn't properly wrapped. The chef couldve rushed it but whatever; I ate it anyway. I also had a Birthday coupon to get a free dessert so I ordered the Fudge Brownie and it was delish! The brownie was so moist and the ice cream was just right. I would go back, maybe.

Food was good. I got the firecracker shrimp app, grilled salmon and parmesan broccoli entree. For dessert I got Cookies and cream cheesecake with Carmel syrup on top. Both excellent. My issues were the restaurant was VERY hot. It's like the air condition was broken. The guests as well as the servers were all sweating. Our waiter Dwayne started off nice but ending up being very slow with delivering food, dessert, and the check. He forgot some things we asked for. I despise waiting for the check when you're ready to go. It was a Saturday around 6 so I understand being busy.

I am rarely one to write negative reviews, but I felt this was necessary. First and last time I will be patronizing Cheesecake Bistro. Took 7 minutes and 38 seconds after being seated before our waitress addressed us. She did however stop by the table next to us 3 times during our wait. Once we received our drinks she never asked us if we wanted refill when my empty glass sitting on the edge of the table waiting. She never checked to make sure the food was ok. The food was mediocre at best. When I gave her back the check with cash in it I tried to tell her how much change I needed back but she decided to cut me off to sell me their loyalty card. Not interested. So she brought me back all twenties when her tip was $10 so I had to go to the bakery for change. Which I don't understand why they have a bakery since the cheesecake taste like it came from a freezer section and thawed. A very weak restaurant for Atlantic Station.

Went to Cheesecake Bistro Sunday for lunch. After being seated we waited and waited and waited to be greeted and have our drink orders taken. Finally, after about 10 minutes of waiting I got up and found the manager to let him know that we had not been greeted. All he did was apologize and said he would send someone over. I work in customer service and you're supposed to wow the customer which he did not do. He could have offered to take care of our drinks or a free dessert or something for having to wait so long. Needless to say, I will not be back.

It's been years, YEARS, since I've been to this Copeland's location - or any Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro actually. I frequented the restaurant in the early days of Atlantic Station, when the dining options were a bit more limited; I don't recall ever having a bad experience but I also didn't necessarily ever have an outstanding one either; which is probably the main reason I haven't been in so long. Nonetheless, we decided to step in for brunch this past weekend after reading over their brunch/lunch menu offerings. Based on the reviews, the service was a lot better than I thought it would be, our waiter was friendly and attentive enough - a sweet, fairly talkative guy, For my entree, I chose the "Crabmeat Suffed Ravioli", which I really did enjoy; the dish came out piping hot, the ravioli and the crab meat were well cooked, and it really was nicely baked into the cheese, and not some horrible congealment - which I have received in prior situations. I also got to try a bit of the Crawfish Ravioli an I was pleasantly surprised by the contrast in flavor between the two dishes - though they were both quite flavorful, the tastes were fairly different. Overall, I had a decent a experience and would definitely return, however I do find that t that they're menu is overpriced, considering the quality and portion size.

We originally thought this was the original Copelands and still decided to stay, glad we did! The crab and crawfish dip I had was great and the ham panini was flavorful n filling. The portions are good, and the service was friendly but not the fastest. They have a good dessert menu as well, can't wait to go back n try some. I also liked the atmosphere and set up. All n all, I enjoyed this place!

Food - Amazing. Service - Amazing. This was my first time visiting this location and I must say that we enjoyed everything. The service was awesome from the very beginning to the end. We waited about 10 minutes for a table and we didn't mind. My mom ordered the fried seafood platter and I ordered the BBQ shrimp linguine. Our food came in a timely manner, and our waitress, Piedah, was amazing. I will definitely eat here again and recommend this location to others.

Very nice place. Today was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised upon walking in. The restaurant is big and quite beautiful. My waitress was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The food was pretty good. Not the best I've had but overall I really enjoyed Copeland's. I recommend the Crash and burn if you're going to drink. It was suggested to me being that it's their most popular.

Where is the traditional jazz brunch??? A group of us headed over to Atlantic Station looking forward to Copelands Sunday brunch buffet but were sorely disappointed to discover that this location doesn't do that. Boooooo! However, they DO have a brunch menu with a good number of new Orleans- inspired dishes (and a variety of brunchy cocktails) that hit the spot! My boyfriend and I ordered the Crab & Crawfish Au Gratin Open-Face Omelet, the (less brunchy) crawfish ravioli and a spicy bloody mary and I can't say a bad word about any of it. In fact, the ravioli was really delicious and all meals were pretty big portions. I wish wish wish that I had had some room for cheesecake (they pecan praline cheesecake is definitely the way to go), but by the end of the meal, we just couldn't. Service was a little slow, but the place was crowded and our server was just as congenial as can be and he made sure our drinks were never empty (and even offered us- a bunch of 20 something year olds- crayons) while we waited.

Came for my birthday. The waitress was fabulous. Although I liked my food I probably won't be back. I don't believe the food is worth the money. We ordered wings for an appetizer and they were just okay. I'd heard that their wings were great but I've had better. I ordered a chocolate cake that was so tasteless I wish I hadn't waited to try it until I got home because it would have gone back. Maybe I will try again but not for a special occasion.

I sat at the bar on a Sunday afternoon, it was not very busy, and I was virtually ignored. The coffee was like water, which I guess is ok since nobody offered me water. The food was just OK, well actually the fries were tasty. Nobody came over to offer me more coffee, water, or check if my food and was good. I saw people working there standing off to the side talking, so they were definitely not too busy to give good service. At the end of my meal, a new bartender arrived and thought it was as a good idea to walk behind the bar carrying her flip flops, which she then set aside on a ledge in full view. I would not return here.

WTF......1:30pm on arainy Monday afternoon12-22-14 a church group of 12 arrive for lunch choosing this place because we noticed plenty of available seating. Copeland's Cheese Cake Bistro is not to be confused with Cheese Cake Factory; I made this fatal mistake and was told not so nicely, "We are not officiated with them"! My question for them was "why the heck would you name yourself the same name and serve such similar offerings"? None the less this restaurant is very good and the prices are a bit more moderate compared to their competition Cheese Cake Factory. They specialize in more spicy, Cajun food New Orleans style. I go to this restaurant so often I memorized their menu and I have my favorite dessert! My only complaint is they tend to run out of food often. With that being said this is still one my favorite place to frequent at Atlantic Station.

Today my husband and I dined at this restaurant for a late lunch. We were told the wait would be 25 minutes but actually was closer to an hour. Our waiter was decent, but what was not was the dusty dirty decor we were sat next to and the door smell of the carpet. When we notified the manager she seemed underwhelmed. The restroom was dirty and without toilet paper in two of the three stalls. The saving grace of this experience was the food was actually really good. I noticed they did have a 100 kitchen score posted in the front behind the hostess stand. It made us feel more comfortable eating considering the poor cleaning of the restaurants front.

I came to this place for the second time in two years . This place is ridiculous. The seats smells like dirty rag water. When we sat down the girl (great waitress! Kudos to her) took our order and we ordered drinks. When the drinks came they were extremely watered down I was upset about that. Then our food took an hour to come out and it was just ok. One of our friends had a birthday, the waitress said that we have to ask the manager if we could have a piece of cheesecake .So the manager comes over to ask who's bday it was.... Okay... He then brings over the cake in a to-go box and has a sparkler candle in his hand and says "We can wait til the sparkler candle goes out, yayy ! " ... Isn't the candle supposed to go in the cake? -__________- Finally the straw that broke the camels back was the disgusting bathrooms. No tissue in any of the stalls, pubic hair on the seats I was DONE. That was the second and the LAST time I will dine at this restaurant.

I've been here many a time. They used to have a better selection on the menu, honestly. My favorite things have come and gone. The bread pasta bowls are huge and filling and good but I mean, so many carbs. The French onion soup is very good. I've been here solely to get the $10 banana split on occasion. The ice cream is so good and tastes sort of special, like better than store bought ice cream. And there are all kinda of toppings and yummy things inside of it as well. I've had the carrot cake and it was good! Not the best I've had due to it's heavy density but good!

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night. Sat down after an hour wait, and it was 10-15 minutes before our drink order was taken. There was another 20 minutes for our drinks to get to our table. That was only after we spoke with a manager. The service was slightly better after this. The food was decent, and the service was horrible.

Located on Atlantic Station (where you can go from nice restaurants to not great restaurants). This falls on the unimpressive ones. The good part first. Waiter was great, helpful and friendly. Desert (Cheesecake trio) was above expectations, as the espresso. The bad side. French onion soup was extra salty. Like someone got canned soup and added even more salt. BBQ Shrimp Linguine pasta pizza bowl (yep, pasta on a pizza crust, to get the carb fix) was not bad, but way simple for a 18 bucks dish. The worst side. Bad smell from somewhere inside the restaurant, like they had just mopped up a floor.

I pretty much order the same thing every time I come here. The catfish platter and dulce de leche and praline cheesecake. Dont fix what ain't broken right? Every now then I get wings as an appetizer. I've tried many other things on the menu, but the fish is my go-to. The prices are a little high but fitting for the location. Most of the time the service is great. I've only had one bad experience in that regard and the person we had a problem with doesn't work there anymore (you're welcome). I saw many complaints about the price of dessert but if you went to Cheesecake Factory you'd pay the same price, around $7. Anyway, it's always packed so they must be doing something right. I'd say stick with a couple dishes you know are good and you won't be disappointed. I'll be back for sure. Oh and I got 20% off when I checked in!

Service was good. Went during lunch had the famous seafood platter. $23.00 not worth it. Buffalo wings for appetizer was good $9.00. I would come back.

Came on a Friday night and the place was fairly busy. Our server was nice BUT...that was it. Ordered some drinks, pretty standard. I came with a party of 4, we all ordered at the same time BUT after about an hour only two ppl in our party received their foods. Then someone in our party found sunflower seed shells throughout her pasta dish. We spoke with the management and they informed us that sunflower seeds are not an ingredient that they even carry in the kitchen. So that means the cook preparing her food must've been eating sunflower seeds and they fell out of his/her mouth while cooking? Disgusting. That's unsanitary and a health code violation.

Yummy! This place is owned by Copelands so all of the dishes have the spicy New Orleans style Cajun seasoning. I love that. The pasta jambalaya is delicious. Even the dressing on the Caesar salad had a bit of a tang to it but it was great. Our server James was very personable and pleasant. They're a cheesecake bistro so they have a long list of cheesecakes for you to choose from similar to that other place with a familiar name. Is definitely come back here often.

First of all, I wanted to say that I went here with my little cousins and siblings to this place.. wanted something GOOD to eat and I've never been to this place before *obviously* so I wanted to try this place out.. and never again and this was why. Our waiter, Nathan seemed like he was going to give me good service. The service wasn't horrible but he kept confusing me when he was talking about the dessert part of the order. I ordered the Shrimp St. Charles which was shrimp, light garlic broth with shiitake and button mushrooms, green onions, angel hair pasta, St. Charles croutons for my main course (this was during lunch on a Saturday) and ordered the sweet potato fries with a side of ranch sauce. OK.. now for the dessert you can get either a fudge brownie that comes with the order OR you can get a cheesecake *any* for an additional $3.. but man!! My server wasn't very clear.. he kept saying "yes you can get both the fudge brownie and the cheesecake *I ordered the Velvet cheesecake since it was my favorite one*.. Crystal H, my lil sister, also heard it that way.. he comes with my cheesecake and I stopped him and said "where's the brownie? I thought you said I could get both?" and he looked at me in a strange way like he was confused and he said "No, ma'am.. you could either get the brownie or the cheesecake".. so yea.. he's not a very good "whatever he was trying to say".. I was frustrated cuz that's what I heard him say the first time and then the second time he totally changes his tone and wording. GOSH! I hate it when my server says one thing and the next they act like they didn't say such a thing! Shrimp St. Charles ($11.95) pasta dish includes a portion size salad, garlic bread and homemade fudge brownie. Sweet Potato with the side of ranch ($3.95) - this was for Crystal H. Another thing I forgot to mention, he took about 35 minutes for my pasta dish. It doesn't take THAT long, does it?? Especially if the restaurant wasn't very busy. There wasn't a lot of people that day.

It gets 1 star for the spinach dip and the 'nice' but very forgetful server. What...the...hell did we just eat? Was this a restaurant? I ordered the chicken with crawfish alfredo linguine and my friend ordered the crawfish mac-n-cheese. How do you mess up mac-n-cheese?! Umm... Where WAS the cheese? Both dishes were blaaaaaaand... The Mac had a slight flavor difference. I believe a jar of alfredo sauce from the market tastes a million times better. We both added some parmesan to our dishes which made it slightly better. We each only were able to take a few bites.... Because that's how bad it was. We tried... But just couldn't stomach much of it. Also, the presentation of the dishes... It was like someone just threw something really quick together... at home... On a busy ... And tired ... Night. How is this place making any business??? Was it just us???

Actually, I'm very disappointed with This establishment. I have been a fan for a long time from my Louisiana time. Other than the name and decor they fail. The Salmon I ordered was salty and barely warm by the time it was served to me. Left me wondering if the cooked it while I was waiting to be seated. The appetizer was so so and my drink was nothing to remember. The main course was horrible...Salty Salmon lukewarm swimming in a plate of melted butter with stiff mashed potatoes and over cooked broccoli. Two stars only because the desserts are good. Service was slow as well. I've enjoy every other dining experience I've had in Atlantic Station but this was by far the worst. Please turn this place around.

Don't go here. Came in to grab a glass of wine and take some food to go. Bartender seemed bothered that I asked for a food menu after waiting several minutes without being acknowledged. Again more bothered when I asked for a drink menu. Being a bar you'd think it's common to get one without asking. She may have been racist. Plenty of smile for the black patrons. Asked for my order and never came back to ask me if I wanted another drink or if I was ok. Food took 40 minutes to come out. Dessert something came out separately 10 minutes later. She didn't bother to give me plastic ware either. Never one heard a thank you from her.

came here with a couple of my friends last month and i kept hearing so much about this place and i will say that it is not all cracked up to what my friends were trying to make of it, the only thing was was good was the cocktails.. the "crash and burn" is an amazing drink!! i loved it.. The first entree we ordered was some sort of chicken dish under the house favorites or one of the popular items and we sent that back and just settled for a burger. on top of the medicore food it took forever for our orders to come out. Idk i wouldn't break my kneck to get here again just put it like that.

The service was just okay. Won't complain about that. But the food... Please... They served some type of questionable chicken nugget with our artichoke cheese dip. My pasta was cold and not to mention is took over 35 minutes to receive our food. I would never return here.

I really like this place! From the excellent customer service to the food, everything was on point. I had the cajun chicken Alfredo inside of a bread bowl. It was soo flavorful with generous portions. My only suggestion : If your going on the weekend you may want to call ahead, although Im not sure if they accept reservations or not but its worth a try. We waited about a hour for a table but other than that I totally enjoyed my visit!

One star because I love cheesecake. Lost four stars because the crawfish ravioli is a fried, frozen mess. Fiancé got the chicken linguine in cream sauce that tasted like yellow bell peppers and the uncooked onions in it. Service was slow, but that's because the waitress was having to tend bar, too. The Caesar salad was pretty ok. Croutons were falling apart from sogginess. Probably won't return unless I'm just here for the cheesecake. And SO overpriced.

Ugh. Gross. The restaurant was smelly, musty and worn out. Service was slow even though it was practically empty. Our server got 2 out of our 5 orders wrong; like the completely wrong dish.

For a place this expensive, sticky unclean cups and ordinary service is unacceptable. One of our plates had to be sent back because the plate literally was not cleaned. Its a different conversation if we were at waffle house, but we were paying 25 bucks per person. I honestly don't know how this place is surviving.

I've been to Copeland's Cheesecake Factory several times, it always seems like when you dine with someone from New Orleans this is the first place in Atlanta they want to dine. If you want visit a place where the sights, sounds, and food are close to New Orleans then this is the place to visit. Copeland's is always busy on Friday's and Saturday's as most restaurants are in Atlantic Station. Copeland's has a large teenage and young adult following. I cannot remember the last time I've gone and not seen kids. I don't have a problem as the are very respectful but the back of the restaurant often resembles a high school cafeteria. If you don't like kids or just want to hear your dinner party sit near the front. SUGGESTION Call and make a reservation or your wait time may be up to one hour. The wait staff is very young and some are pleasant while others appear to have attitudes. I remember working in this setting and attitudes are of driven by bad or demanding customers or management continually driving people. I will say I only witnessed demanding customer. Management jumped in to assist their wait staff wherever the saw gaps in performance. Copeland's has an extensive drink menu and a number of entrees worthy of honorable mention on a good night. Last night wasn't one of this nights. The bar sent out libations that appeared by all accounts at the table did not have the normal amount of alcohol. Of the four entrees ordered two came out without an issue. The crawfish ravioli the ravioli tasted old and under cooked. The chicken pasta was also over cooked, the chicken was dry and chewy. Suggest you try Copeland's on a week night and order the jambalaya pasta as it's normally the best dish on the menu. I hope some of the kitchen issues are corrected as the food makes up for the noise.

Food was over overrated. Service was subpar. I would consider a new management staff if I was the owner. I would only go there for the desserts and drinks if I just had no where else to go. Sorry guys

This place was less than impressive. We went in at an odd time- about 3ish on a Sunday and stood at the host stand for almost 5 min before anyone acknowledged us. Not the best start. We opened the menus to find not only overpriced selections, but very few vegetarian options. I'm relatively used to only having limited choices, but there were literally only 3 things I could have eaten. I opted for a basic angel hair pasta w/ white wine sauce, tomatoes, & garlic. It was OK but lacked much flavor and was easily something I could have produced in my own kitchen. Service was fine once we were seated in that she kept the refills coming and checked on us in a decent amount of time after the food was delivered (my bf needed ketchup & doesn't like to wait to start eating his fries!) The highlight of the meal was checking in on Yelp & discovering a small discount, but in doing so, the waitress ran off with my iPhone for about 5 mins to show the offer to her manager. This made me incredibly uncomfortable- no explanation, no "I'll be right back" - just grabbed my phone and walked away. There are too many sure-things in Atlantic Station to ever return to this restaurant. We decided against the dessert, too, as both of our meals were nothing to write home about.

This place sucks ass. It's not that it's egregiously bad, it's just so mediocre. I don't know what we were even thinking coming here. Me: Are we in the mood for lazy, uninspired 'American' cuisine? Her: What, like Cheesecake Factory? Me: Nope, a Cheesecake Factory ripoff! Her: You had me at ripoff. And so, we got exactly what we deserved. The food wasn't awful, it was just meh. It was like a college kid on their own for the first time really tried to make something fancy, and it turned out to be good enough to eat but not good enough to share. But to pay as much for a good meal as this one, with slow service on top of that, leaves a bad taste in my mouth (pardon the pun). At least it serves cheesecake. But even so, I would skip this place.

Unlike the Cobb locations, you will need a reservation here, and even then there will be a wait. The service isn't that great but the food most certainly is. Copeland's has the best damn cheesecake, period! Recommended entrees: shrimp creole and shrimp etoufee. Not like what you'd get in NOLA; the shrimp is SUPER small, laughably small, but the flavor in everything kinda makes up for it. The Bayou Belle is a fabulous drink, the bar is very generous. This location is suitable for bday parties and friends' night out. Cobb locations are more suitable for dates and family time. Tip: check-in on yelp once you get there. They usually will have a special like complimentary dessert (get the cheesecake!) or 20% off your bill.

Service was terrible. Literally 35 minutes after we ordered salads, and ten minutes after the table next to us got the hot meals they had ordered 2 minutes before us...I got up and walked to the servers station and asked a manager to check on our order. 35 seconds later our salads appeared, without so much as an apology.

The waitress was pleasant and very attentive. The fried eggplant and firecracker shrimp appetizers was so delicious!! The Panko catfish, wasabi mash potatoes and buk Choy was amazing! And can't forget the caramel and praline cheesecake was to die for and have bubble guts for (lactose intolerant), lol!!! I will definitely be back!!

My wife and went to eat here because the internet lead us to believe that this was Copeland's - the Cajun restaurant. But, when we arrived, we discovered that it was a "cheese cake bistro". Basically, this place combined everything you hate about Cheesecake Factory and smashed it together with nothing you like about Copeland's. It's not that the food is bad; it's just uninspired as hell and definitely not even remotely Cajun. Again, the food wasn't bad, it was just a giant snore fest for my taste buds. In my opinion, the menu is waaaaay overpriced. When you combine the giant wait for a table, the noisy, overcrowded dining area and the overpriced, boring food, this place is a pass. You are forewarned.

I returned to this establishment thinking my experience would be better. Especially since I had gotten a reply from Kris Rainer who said when I return I get "vip" treatment. I asked server Britney for Kris and she did not know of the person. I asked for a manager and she didn't find one. No big deal. But the restraurant wasn't busy on our visit and we still waited 8 min. Seated in far back and our server had attitude about taking our table. She rolled her eyes and didn't give us great service at all. I travel and dine out often and I would like this place to have their employees go through some type of customer service training. The food is awesome but crappy employees will cost your establishment no future recommendations from me.

Such a great experience! My boyfriend and I went here for a night out and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in and were seated, we got such great customer service! Our waiter was very attentive, offering us explanations of the food, beer, and desert options. He seemed very knowledgeable. The food was amazing! We got crab/crawfish dip as an appetizer, crawfish ravioli and chicken and mushroom Alfredo, and both of us had slices of cheesecake and coffee afterwards. I was very happy with the meal, so was my boyfriend. To top it all off, it was my birthday and my cheesecake was decorated and had a candle, which we did not even ask for. Our waiter noticed my birthday on my ID and went out of his way to make it a little special, which I thought was super nice! It was a great meal!! I will definitely be back!

I experienced stellar food and service at this location when visiting the Atlanta location in the past (around 2008-2010). Fast forward a couple of years, and this was not one of those times. I immediately noticed that it lacked its previous aesthetic luster and the general appearance of the place looked a bit degraded and shabby. My party of three had reservations but experienced a long hour wait. We decided to stay despite the wait but later regretted the decision after my entire group left collectively unsatisfied. The list of offenses included slow service and terribly mediocre or downright bad quality of food for everyone at the table. The only great part of the meal was the spicy shrimp appetizer that we ordered. It was very delicious. However, my crawfish ravioli arrived at the table cold and and lacked flavor, my fellow diners food (pasta dishes) was lackluster and bland according to everyone as welI. Despite my former love of this location.....I do not plan to return to this location after this last visit.

Pretty good I would say. Went here with with a friend on a Friday afternoon and was immediately seated, the hostess was really friendly and accommodating. Food was good too. Had the Crab & Crawfish bake for an appetizer and it was sooooooo good! I'd definitely suggest it. For the entree I had the Chicken, Shrimp, & sausage Penne. That was okay, not anything special. The downside to Copeland's is that it is kinda pricey. Of course I had to try a cheesecake there, which was the red velvet cheesecake. That was also pretty yummy. Overall, I'll be back!

For starters, my first times at the this restaurant was at the New Orleans location, and I loved it every time. I have been to the Atlanta location several times and each time it has gotten worse. The service is always subpar and the food isn't as good as it used to be. On this visit, I got the gumbo, a side salad and I shared the fried eggplant appetizer with someone else who also got a bowl of the French onion soup. For starters, although the gumbo tasted good, it was thin and didn't have much to it. Usually gumbo has crawfish, shrimp, sausage and chicken in it and this gumbo only had chicken. Additionally, the rice was not cooked enough and hard. As for the fried eggplant appetizer, they have changed it. The eggplant was delicious but it used to come with a creole dipping sauce and now he comes with marinara sauce, it doesn't exactly go with the theme of the restaurant, and I like the other sauce better. The salad was delicious but that is not why I go to that restaurant. My sister said the French onion soup wasn't do good. Probably won't be going back.

I went here for birthday. Service was great but food was below average. The seafood platter was a lot of food but had an after taste. It was pricey expected better taste but was disappointed. Even the cheesecake was below standards. Ambiance nice though. I probably will not return.

Unbelievable how long it takes for food to come out here , and when it does it looks like shit .. Being a Sous chef , I know how long it takes to make PASTA!!! This place is a joke chefs need to be replaced IMMEDIATELY OR TRAINED PROFESSIONALY!! Don't give me this "everything is made from scratch" is the PASTA made from scratch like we do in California !!!? And for these prices this food should be five star quality ! I will say that the server Tiffany was absolutely amazing if I could relocate her to San Francisco I would . Her service was SO warm , friendly and intuitive. She paid specific attention to the miniscule details . That's what service is all about people !! If you should ever come to this place make sure you bring a duster and some air freshener.. You will need it !! As for the cooks in the BACK I'm thinking about relocating to Atlanta just so I can work in the back with you guys so I can show you how a real chef is supposed to handle business....

This place is terrible. 1) We came in- party of 3 on a Saturday night- and waited for about 15 minutes. Not bad for a busy night but as we looked around from the bar, several tables were sitting there dirty... Maybe 5 or 6 tables. There were several parties that could have been seated immediately if the tabled were turned over faster. The bus boy came out and didn't seem very motivated to clean the tables quickly.... This was the first indication that the service was not good. The hostesses seemed put out when we mentioned this. 2) We got seated and as nice as the waitress was, we never got our drink orders correctly. One friend of mine ordered a diet coke and water, another ordered a peach tea, I got unsweet tea... They all came out at different times and we NEVER got refills. 3) We ordered an appetizer to share -- the crawfish cheese bake, which was good-- but never got silverware or plates. We ended up stealing silverware from other tables after asking 3 different servers for silverware and plates. It was cold by the time we actually dug in to eat with our stolen silverware and no plates. 4) We waited, no joke, 45 minutes for our food. During that time the waitress, then the manager came to our table to sell us some loyalty program that we weren't interested in. We told them both to just bring our food and that we waited a long time but they both apologized and nothing happened. We were so frustrated by this time. 5). There's an interesting crowd there at Copeland's. "Rough around the edges". They seated next to us 3 young women with 2 young babies. One of them changed a diaper at the table!!! The WHOLE place smelled like diaper. We were still waiting for our food, smelling crap, and irritated, so we asked the manager too be moved to another table. He did move us 1 table away--- remember how I said many tables weren't bussed or cleaned off-- because they had no where else to seat us. 6) At this point we were just disgusted and wanted to leave. We saw people who ordered after us get their food, so we asked the manager to let us leave. It took him 10 minutes to figure out our bill-- we only had an appetizer and one round of drinks. I got so mad I told my friend to all just leave $5 a piece on the table. He finally said we could just go, we think our bill was not entered in the system. That would explain why our food never came out and the manager didn't know what we ordered. Overall- I recommend, wholeheartedly, passing on this place. The service is terrible, it's like a ghetto Cheesecake Factory, and the manager was more attentive to selling the loyalty program than customer service, and the servers look rough!! There are wayyyyyy better places to eat in Atlantic Station and midtown. Wish I could give this place zero stars!!

I went to Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro with my family for my birthday. I was at first a little skeptical because a lot of the reviews on this restaurant's location talk about bad service. When I arrived, I came into the restaurant to see it was pretty packed-- probably because I went on a weekend. I only mentioned that it was my birthday once to the hostess. She wished me a happy birthday and told me my waitress would be up shortly. My waitress was nice and was patient and she did service with a smile. It took a little while for the food to show up but I rather my food be thoroughly done than worry about the speed. As I took a gander around the Bistro I noticed it was kept clean-- not immaculate, but still pretty neat; I noticed a busboy come by the tables and sweep up with a broom. When our food arrived the plates were hot and the portions were nice enough to take home for lunch the next day. My family ordered different pasta dishes and I order a burger. My family thought their pasta dishes were just O.K. The burger that I order was amazing, I let my mother try a piece of it and she agreed that it was much better than her meal. After we finished, I order a slice of brownie cheesecake to-go for myself, although it was made to go, my waitress still remembered to put a sparkler in it and wish me a happy birthday like the hostess did. I thought they forgot! I enjoyed my night especially since it was my first time in midtown as well as to this establishment and I wouldn't mind going again.

Oh, Cheesecake Bistro. The desire to be the Cheesecake Factory but not quite there. As a college student, the prices are on point and its a decent meal when you don't want cafeteria food! Located in the shopping center its not too bad of a place. Btw, the staff isnt all that great.. But you'll get over that.

I would proably never eat here again willingly. Its nothing that they did wrong what so ever. It was just that i have had better. It reminded me of the cheese cake factory...but the knock off version. The food was ok the prices were a little high and the food was served with such huge portions that you would destroy your diet plan for an entire week here. I had chicken strips as a app. I dont eat sauce but they were a little dry and bland so i got some bbq sauce that tasted like soy sauce....yuck! The staff were ok and friendly. As i said i dont have many complaints its just that they didnt do anything different. If they are gonna try to be like The Cheese Cake Factory their gonna have to expand that menu! The Cheese Cake Factory's Menu is ginormous.

Went there for a drink and dessert. I thought the drink was amazing crash and burn so tropical loved it I would give it a 5/5 the cheesecake was okay we got the white chocolate raspberry. It was good but not up to par with Cheesecake Factory 3/5. Overall, it was a fun casual dining experience.

I went on a Wednesday night, and it wasn't that packed. My guests and I were seated upon arrival, and we were taken care of immediately. The service we received that night was pretty good I would say. The waitress was attentive to our needs and seems to be really nice. As for the food, I ordered one of the specials they have on the fall menu (chicken and dumplings), and it felt as if I was having Thanksgiving dinner! Yum! This was my first time coming to the restaurant, and I thought the interior designs were really nice. To sum it all up, we received great service and great food that night. My only complaint is that it was ridiculously expensive, and that would probably stop me from going back there again, but I'm glad I got to experience it at least once.

This was not a good experience. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I stopped by for lunch and had the crawfish ravioli. I received a very large serving of ravioli that was chewy in a bad way. Probably over cooked. The sauce was greasy. I will never go here again. It's hard for me to imagine how this restaurant can stay open with the quality of food they serve.

My wife and I live in AS and Copelands is one of our go to places. We've yet to have a bad experience (food or service) and we always go here when we are planning dessert following a meal. Sunday brunch is tremendous too and rarely over crowded. Kind of a hidden gem.

Service was horrible. Had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated but the place was half empty the whole time. After waiting 20 minutes and still no greeting I went back to the front and asked where our waiter was. The waiter was having conversations with other coworkers and rolled his eyes at me when I complained. And then he only showed up once to refill our drinks over an hour long meal. But the food was good, the service was just terrible.

In my opinion, this is a off brand version of the Copeland's and the Cheesecake Factory. People were ranting and raving about how good the crawfish ravioli was but to me it was just ok. I guess I had high expectations, but to me this spot is only capitalizing because of their location.

I've been here 3 times and it never gets any better! This place is overpriced and underwhelming, which quite frankly makes me upset. Their cheesecakes are full of preservatives, the food is so-so. Today's visit had me trying (against my better judgement) their new Triple Berry Lemon Cheesecake. $8 damn dollars for a slice the size of one of those Edward's pies (y'all know what I'm talking about...) and the icing stuff that topped it tasted like a mouth full of lard! My stomach turned like nobody's business. Damn shame. 3 strikes and you're out, Cheesecake Bistro! Never again...

Just visited the restaurant last evening and the experience was not good. The entry was crowded, the seating in the front needs to be replaced immediately. I say on the sofa and thought I was gonna go right through it. Additionally, the carpet was extremely dirty. The wait time for our table was average but the wait time for our meals was ridiculous!! I ordered a lemon drop martini and it tasted like dirty tap water with lemon, not good and not pleasing to look at. ( check with the bartender at Rue Chris on how to make a good martini) when we finally got our meals a guy came on the floor and started sweeping the carpet and dust was literally in the air. I was done, will not be back. The food was good but everything else was horrible. Your servers were friendly but over worked meaning not enough help. STEP UP YOUR GAME MANAGEMENT!!!

I really, really, really wanted to love this place. Amber was our server and she was good. She was new. However, I did not know this until one of the other servers told us. I ordered fried chicken. It was ok. My friend, Drew had a bbq burger. He said it was average. Don't know if we will be back.

Service was prompt. Our waitress was pleasant but her breath was offensive. She tried to up sell some kind of rewards card but we just wanted her to stop talking. I ordered the fried chicken but didn't enjoy it because it was overdone and dry. A manager came over and quickly took it away and removed it from the bill. Unfortunately, she didn't offer to replace it so I left hungry.

The food was good... service on the other hand, gets an F minus! Would have easily been a five start rating, but oh wait... we have to actually get the food!

Went on Sunday at Brunch time. Had a Jambalaya Omelet upon the recommendation of my friend. Oh. Yes. People. I said Jambalaya and Omelet. I was desperately trying to save some of it to take some home for later, but that didn't happen. I had it all. Great combo of flavors. However, I was able to avoid embarrassing my table by not licking my plate. The little seasoned bread balls that come with it were also so very yummy and I was happy my companions were dieting so that I could take those home with me. They were kind of cheese and cornbread-like biscuits.. Our server was nice, attentive and accommodating and we did not experience any of the issues that previous yelpers did. My brunch mates had been here several times before and did complain that the dessert portions used to be bigger. I had the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake, it was not to die for, but good enough for me to finish. Oh, hell, I would have finished a chocolate peanut butter anything, so don't listen to that part! Bottom line: A New Orleans inspired eatery with some interesting options. I will be back!

We were seated quickly, which was nice. That was about it. The server came over with his dirty/dingy food ambassador in training uniform on. I thought cool, someone in training isn't jaded and is still trying to impress folks. Nope. He didn't care one bit about his job. What he did care about was talking to the other food ambassadors. Especially the female ones, he was quite friendly and attentive to them. While we sat in need of drink refills and food. I got the BBQ shrimp pasta. It could have been so good, the potential was there. The sauce was delicious but I didn't really need a full gallon of it soaking into the bread bowl under my pasta. It totally overpowered the taste of anything else, even the shrimp. One person in our party ordered a salad. When it came it had crumbled up croutons all over the top of it. This was not mentioned on the menu and due to diet she is on, can't eat them. So he laughed and said, yeah its just a little crumbled up crouton. She said, I can't eat that, he said well it will be hard to take off. There was awkward staring until he said, I'll have to get you a new salad. 15 mins later, they bring a over dressed withered salad. HERE IS THE BEST PART... I got a 20% discount for checking in with yelp. I tell my friends who are with us, who are paying on a totally separate ticket. They join yelp because of this. The the server tells us he can only give one discount per table and applies it to the whole table... yet we were on separate tickets so I'm not sure anyone actually got the discount. I certainly saw no discount on my 18$ bowl of soupy pasta. Or my friends $12 withered salad. With so many other restaurants nearby to choose from, I don't think I'd choose this one again.

Not sure why this place has such poor reviews except each person's tolerance may be different. My husband and I actually had a great experience yesterday and I've gone one other time prior. Both times, my meal was exceptional and my waiter was attentive. I really like all the Copeland's restaurants because there're several seafood options which is great considering I'm pescatarian!

This is my go to place in Atlantic Station when I am trying to kill time. It gets very busy on the weekends and holidays, so I suggest making a reservation or sitting in the bar area. I have my favorites that I tend to get more often than not which are the crawfish egg rolls and the crawfish ravioli. They're just so damn good!! The drinks are mediocre, so I stick to wine usually. The service isn't anything spectacular either, but I don't go there for that. I'm there for the crawfish!!!

2 Stars because the food is honestly really good; however the service is HORRIBLE!! I have been to this place on 4 different occasions & 3 out of the 4 times the service was undeniably poor. On one if of the occasions, I requested a manager and he was very rude and displayed highly offensive behavior. I escalated the issue to the corporate office and got no call back or even a letter acknowledging my phone call. If you don't mind ghetto service.. Then I would recommend this place/location. But you can most definitely get the same quality of food and much better service at a regular Copeland's location outside of this particular one.
