Ordered a simple cheese pizza and salad. I picked this restaurant based on other yelp reviews and the location being so close to home. Unfortunately, Big Papa's cheese pie was one of the worst pizza's I've ever had. There's a saying that even bad pizza is still good. That was not the case with Big Papa's. I hope Big Papa's Pizza figures this out. The crust was bland and cardboardish. The sauce also lacked flavor. I hope my experience was a one off.

Why do I think I can do better than Fellinis for standard pizza go-to....or Piu bello in buck head. I don't think it exists in Atlanta. Pretty tasteless pizza-crust was dry and cardboard, sauce was tomato paste consistency, cheese had right proportions but no flavor. I picked it up and it still wasn't hot... Garlic knots were....not satisfying either. Wah. I was hoping it would have been good--friendly service and they deliver. But not for me.

The pizza arrived late and cold to the touch. They also left a sauce off the order, which would have been only mildly annoying if not for the rest. The garlic knots were burnt as well. I used the Eat24 delivery service, which I do not recommend. They would not refund my purchase but eventually gave me a credit. They spoke with the store and were told the order arrived only a couple minutes late (it was about 20 overdue) and hot, which was just not true. For what it's worth, it also seemed they have changed their garlic knot recipe for the worse (on top of the burnt flavor).

Well of course I'll do it again! I've been in a pretty lazy mood all day. Simply didn't want to leave the comfort of my couch and no way was I leaving the building. Cooking was O-U-T... it's been out for weeks . Back to my review. I scrolled thru the restaurant selection on the EAT24 app and landed here. Delivery Pizza by the slice AND Meatball sliders #winning The yelp reviews were pretty positive so I took a chance and ordered one stuffed meaty pizza slice, Meatball sliders and 5 piece wings mild with Lemon pepper sauce This was a lot of food as expected but most important it was delicious. The slice of pizza was filled with various typical pizza meats and perhaps a little too dry for my taste but they sent a small container of delicious marinara that I used for dipping. HAPPY! Wings were good and perfect size for me (not jumbo hormone overloaded size and not to teeny tiny) Meat sliders (muah!! ) LOVED them! I have leftovers that I'll demolish tomorrow. My order was quick and fresh. Not too much to criticize except for the fact that the pizza was just ok compared to the amazing garlic bread that was smothered in cheese. Very generous. Thanks Big Papa's Pizza.

Love this place. Right in my building and they are super friendly to me every time I go I'm there. Sometimes they even give me an extra slice--which, of course, is always a big plus. Pizza is always fresh and delicious as well! When my friends come over we always eat down here because all of us love it so much!

This is our first experience and must say fantastic. I believe they took over Gino's pizza at the Darlington. We had the Hawaiin pizza and the pepperoni twists. Good stuff. Good crust/dough, great pizza sauce and fresh cheese. what more could one ask for. We will definitely keep this place in our rotation

I ordered delivery.. The box said hot but my food was definitely cold. I ordered through grubhub and while it was delivered on time, my calzone and cheesy bread were cold and the food was just mediocre. I give 3 stars only because their marinara sauce was really good.

So glad Big Papas just down the street was open during this wintry mix storm today. We just moved here and we gave it a try. It is genuine tasty New York style pizza. If you don't notice it on Peachtree, it's setback in the Darlington apartment building across from Piedmont Hospital.

New York pizza huh? While it seems more similar than most other places I've come across in Atlanta, it still has a long way to go. Pizza wasn't bad though and its far better than the other alternatives for delivery. Just wished the pizza was piping hot instead of luke warm when it arrived!

Good. More like 3.5 Star. Stuffed Meat Pizza was tasty. Parmesan Garlic wings, some of the best I have had, although a bit pricey at almost a dollar a wing.

Great pizza. have had a few of their types of pizza, and their pinwheels are delicious! Never had a problem with delivery or carry out with them and always pleasant and nice on the phone. Great service!

Pasta really had no Alfredo sauce just oil. The garlic rolls really had no taste of garlic. I also ordered a slice of pizza and although it was cold it was still pretty good. Delivery took about an hour which was torture. Overall I give it a 3 because it did what it was suppose to do which was to satisfy my hunger.

I've ordered from Big Papa's several times now and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the delivery is always prompt and ahead of the projected time. When they say jumbo wings they really mean it. They're not these tiny little wings you get from your average wing place AND the sweet heat sauce is fantastic. Pair them with the pinwheels and a cannoli and you've got one of the best meals in the area. Seriously, order from them. Just do it.

Solid Pizza ...it was a shame that it came cold (but I guess that is what microwaves are for). Basically it is a good pizza, not greasy, quality toppings and yummy crust everything you want in a pizza.

I really love Pizza and since this place rated high on Yelp I decided to head over to grab a slice on Saturday afternoon since I was in the area. What I did not realize at the time is that is was located where the Darlington apartments are. Anyway I walked in around 3 and there was a man behind the counter making pizza I did not see anyone else. At first I was just going to grab a slice but decided on 2 slices of the Big Papa Deluxe which would have cost almost 10 bucks so I just ordered a small 10 inch Deluxe pizza to go. The food took about 20 minutes to make and once I opened the box it looked just like plain old ordinary pizza nothing special so I was like oh well until I bit into the first slice. The Pizza was actually very good. The toppings fresh and the crust was perfect but what really made the pizza good to me was the sauce. It was delicious! I have to try the pasta dishes there as well if they use the same sauce. I planned on taking the pizza back home to eat but I ate the whole thing while I was flying down 75.

Our entire office orders from Big Papas Pizza every week, we are all such addicts! The pizza is always hot and delicious and we get it on time. They never forget to bring us extra plates, cutlery and condiments. The salads are also very fresh and tasty. This place is a hidden gem, visit Big Papas for the best pizza in town! Try the buffalo chicken pizza, it's amazing!

I order from this place all the time at work through Grubhub. Delivery is fast and the food is good. The pizza is okay (a little too well done on the bottom for my liking, but still really good). The ceasar salad has seasoned croutons and is a huge portion. I usually stick to the pasta. Fettuccine Alfredo (pictured) is my favorite, but the lasagna is also good (this is really huge and almost looks like lasagna rolls filled with meat). Pasta is always nice and al dente. Both usually come with 2 chewy garlic rolls, but once I received it with garlic bread instead (pictured). Customer service is top notch!

Order pizza online 14 inch and a additional 2 slices of pizza and salad late Saturday. To say the least order was delivered wrong missing 2 additional slices of pizza however, delivery man charge me for it, when l realized it , it was to late delivery man was gone so l called that night, however they was closed. So I called The next day to explain what happened and was surprised the response that l received from the guy over the phone , his reply was l am going to have to speak to big daddy cause we don't sell single slices online we can maybe give you a credit on future order. I said your website allowed me to order it and ur delivery person took payment for it, l never received it Furthermore, l am here visiting family l won't be back for a while just refund me my money. His reply we will be their within the hour to give u back ur money. They never came and I didn't call back either . It was 7 $ but l will never order anything from this place ever again when l return to town. Very unprofessional #no integrity#
