Bennett's is an awesome neighborhood deli with fresh ingredients. Aga hand crafts every sandwich with pride and heart. This was the best damn Caprese sandwich I've ever had. I can't wait to branch off and try the other menu items.

Bennets has some of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! I can attest for the chicken salad and the tuna salad and the turkey club! I really like this deli because they provides some unique items that you can't get at the local grocery store. I also love that they provide local meats that were produced in Georgia! local in my opinion is always better! I defiantly recommend coming here for a quick bite however just know it is a bit pricy and service isn't always the greatest. But overall good spot and great food!

Not the most friendly or welcoming group of folks work here. You almost feel like you're walking into someone's home uninvited and while they're in the midst of dinner. This is exactly what happened on my first visit with a friend. My friend (who is from the neighbourhood) and I walked in, the lady behind the counter seemed to be preparing dinner for her kids who we seated at a table. They all stopped and steer.. We were given the deer in the headlights look. No greetings. No, can I help you find anything. Her reaction caused us to turn and look at the sign on the door. Scratching our heads, did we overlooked the 'Closed' sign? Turns out the sign read, OPEN. Its freakiN 1:30pm on Saturday. My guess is, she didn't want to be bothered and if you're not a regular or part of their cult(?) The welcome red carpet is not rolled out for you. I really wanted to like this place, it's one neighbourhood over from mine.

Great local place for sandwiches. Great option for nights when we have kids practices and cannot cook. A little pricey but very tasty. They also serve prepared foods but every time I have been in they do not have many prepared options to offer just a few sides or salads. The groceries are highly expensive.

Great sandwich and a few grocery options! Haven't had anything bad! Cool beer and wine if you need to pick up something on the way to grant park. I disagree with other posts on customer service. Everyone has been friendly to me. 1 star off for sticky tables. Wouldn't steer me away. Grant park favorite.

Great food! Sometimes a little slow, and a bit pricey. Lovely people!

Horrible customer service. The lady taking our order was extremely rude and rolled her eyes at us, which we didn't appreciate at all. Only 4 tables in the restaurant. We will not be back.

Just had my first experience. Roast beef and provolone sandwhich. The first half was....meh. The second half had a pube baked into the bread! Bonus! No really, that's gross. Now, it was baked into the bread...So maybe the fault would lie with their supplier. If not .. Maybe be a little more careful. Just threw away 1/2 of my 10.00 sandwhich. Here is to hoping there are no surprises in these bags of chips. :/

We stopped by to grab some sandwiches to take to the park. The staff was super friendly, and had two very tasty sandwiches made and ready to go in just a couple minutes. We will definitely be stopping by again, soon!

I really wanted to love this place as I've just moved to Atlanta from Chicago and am desperate for convenient food options within walking distance. I was willing to overlook the fact that it's rough around the edges- that it feels more like someone's experiment in sandwich making and shopkeeping than it does a legitimate restaurant or corner store. I was willing to overlook quite a bit as I fondly remember several sandwich shops in Chicago that weren't in the business of being pretty...or fast...but they always made great food and, more importantly, treated you with respect and dignity and made you feel welcome. I wanted so badly to find one such deli here. What I am NOT willing to overlook, however, is that on the only three occasions I have ventured in- being a new person from a different place just looking for an onion to use for dinner or a cup of coffee during my morning- an employee (whose name I have never managed to catch has successfully) has repeatedly and aggressively brought up the previous relationships of my fiancé. Like, out of the blue. Not in the context of any other conversation or question or opening offered up by me or anyone else. Now, I'm not an overly sensitive person, but to have it brought up over and over again when a.) it's not germane to our transaction, b.) I'm spending money in their establishment and c.) I've previously mentioned that it's not something I necessarily feel the need to discuss with strangers, in public....it's obviously intended to make me feel uncomfortable and- guess what!?!- it worked! I don't know these people. At all. And where I come from it's just plain rude and inappropriate (not to mention bad for business) to confront perfect strangers with the details of their very personal lives...especially when they are patronizing your deli. So tell me, Bennett's, where's that southern hospitality I keep hearing about? 'Cause I haven't seen an ounce of it in your establishment. I will never be returning.

I have to say, I've been a bit disappointed by my experience at Bennett's during recent visits. The chicken salad was a favorite, but has been rather bland lately. Could really use some seasoning. The veggie sandwich was a mistake and should be avoided. Lastly, on a visit I asked for sourdough with my sandwich, but was told it's only for sale in loaves...What gives?

I love having Bennett's in the neighborhood. We enjoy the salads, sandwiches and specialty foods. Great wine and treats too!

Checked out the new concept of this space a few days ago. I'm a local from Grant Park so I really want this place to do well. It is a bit sparse (as most new businesses are) but my Caprese sandwich was spot on with fresh ingredients...and a friendly sandwich maker Adam (owner?). Recommend highly! Good luck!

I'm not one for flashy exteriors when the food and service are good. This place is not flashy, the service was okay and their sandwiches were not very good. One thing that did bother me was that there are no prices on any of their grocery items. What I did buy, that was not priced of course, was an 8 oz cheese spread that cost over 10 dollars! That's a bit ridiculous. Don't think I'll ever go back.

We are thrilled to have this place in the neighborhood. We first stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. We enjoyed homemade chicken soup and sandwiches. Everything was fresh and delicious...and they had glass bottle cokes! My favorite. I stopped by again to pick up some party items (cheese straws and pickled okra, yum!) and I just had to get a slice of the chocolate cake to go. Seriously...this is the best chocolate cake I have ever had. Ever, ever. We also picked up dinner to go during the week - Mexican lasagna, salad, and yes - more cake. It was delicious. I can't wait for more takeout dinner options - we have an infant and always need healthy options during the week. This place rocks!

I think this place really wants to be like some of the bodegas you might see in Philadelphia, but it falls very short of it. The sandwiches are OK -- nothing to flip out over. There are grocery items for sale such as milk, but you don't know how much it costs because there are no price tags up. Maybe I would be able to ask someone at the counter how much the milk costs if there wasn't a Grant Park mom cutting in front of me to gossip about some BS that happened in the elementary school parking lot. This is one of those places that make you feel like if you don't know anyone, then you don't belong there since you have nothing to contribute to the conversation.

Nice little "market and deli" near the northeast end of Grant Park. Neighborhoods like Grant Park need more little places like this to get thinks like wine and beer, other drinks, sandwiches, and little stuff, odds and ends, etc. Came here twice over the weekend to get some wine, beer and a baguette.

Bennett's is just what Grant Park needed! They've got the sandwich wait time down and the layout and inventory is on point. Fantastic to pop in and not pay a fortune for lunch. Thank you, Bennett's!

The sandwich I has was excellent!!! The lady at the front was super friendly and upbeat!! I will definitely go back when I'm in the mold for a sandwich or salad! They seem to have some great soups as well! Oh and they have king of pops!!! :-)

I will start by saying that I enjoy having a local market where I can grab a bite to eat or some ingredients for cooking. I would suggest some changes like it not taking 15 minutes to get 2 sandwiches made when no one else is in line and 3 people are behind the counter. Also, no one serves cold reubens. This place has real potential, but I think some kinks to be worked out with the pace of the staff and really putting some effort into making the sandwiches. A cold reuben with toppings clumped together in one spot of the sandwich. Coming from someone who worked in a NY deli - If you are going to specialize in something like sandwiches, make them as close to perfection as possible.

Wonderful little neighborhood market! The guy who works there is always amazingly sweet to our two really annoying kids. :-)
