Whats the opposite of a castle? Cardboard box? Based on my experience today this place is due for a name change. I won't be coming back here anytime soon, although I used to like this place. Today however, when I walked in I was hit with the smell of vomit. Not a promising beginning. It was very crowded and 2 servers were working so naturally it took quite a while for someone to take our order. You get the choice of coconut soup or a spring roll with the lunch menu. I got the soup which was not hot-either with spice or heat and my friend had the spring roll which was fine but nothing to write home about. And why are they so expensive?? If ordered separately 6 dollars for 2 small vegetarian rolls? They need to have an option for a single order or at least put some meat in the mix... I ordered the green curry seafood which comes with shrimp, scallops, and squid for 9.95. I've had this dish before and although the sauce and vegetables are always good... the seafood (esp the scallops and squid) ... while never "bad" never taste particularly fresh. So, I asked if i could just have chicken and shrimp instead. Not extra chicken added to the dish, just a substitution of one less expensive meat for the removal of 2 seafood items. Needless to say I was thoroughly incensed with I got my check and saw that the waitress had neglected to tell me it would be extra so I now was paying 11.95 for tiny bits of chicken and the usual not so fresh shrimp. GRRRR. My friend had the mixed vegetables with chicken (8.00) which she liked although i tasted it and was not a fan. Too garlicky and one note for my taste. The substitution and the resulting 2 dollar increase are clearly what sent me over the edge but honestly the smell, the not so fresh seafood, blah cold soup and the ridiculously slow service allow me to give this place 2 stars without completely making my cheapness the real reason for the low rating. On the plus side the ambiance (minus todays smell) is nice-fresh flowers, pretty decor, cool music, etc. they also have a patio, the parking is ample and I think they have a full bar. However, the only way I'm coming back is on somebody elses dime.

Absolutely love this place. Great lunch spot, close to work. Great people.

I have lived right down the street from this place for a year and never thought about going in. But last night, we were trying to go to Genki, but there was a wait, and my stomach couldn't wait, so we walked across the street to this practically empty restaurant. The service was super quick, maybe because they were so slow, but I enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and had plenty left over for dinner tonight. The pineapple in the mix of chicken and veggies was a nice treat. For $12-13, this place doesn't disappoint and I will definitely be back to try more off their huge menu!

I went a few nights ago. I had the Basil Rolls and Panang - Thai hot. The food was certainly acceptable, but when I order it Thai hot I expect it to really be spicy. It was somewhat spicy, but not as hot as Thai hot should be. On the whole though, the food and service was certainly acceptable.

Excellent food and a great place for a nice evening with a small group of family/Friends. Perfect for a special occasion if you know what you want. My suggestion: before you take that special someone, try it out and get a feel for what it is. ps: FWIW, there are some nasty reviews for this place on some local ATL websites (i.e., accessatlanta.com ).....that has not been my experience. I had a great time and will be taking my family there again...very soon. *** Edit 05/13/2008*** Visited twice and both times it was impressive enough to give them 5*s.

Excellent service, food, drinks, atmosphere. Casual dress and affordable food. I got the lemongrass soup as an appetizer (delicious with just the right amount of lemongrass). For entree I got the green curry shrimp. Spicy was balanced well with the vegetables and shrimp. I will be back to explore more of this menu!

The chicken masaman is delicious and plentiful. The avocados are a nice touch. The service is speedy and friendly. Great restaurant from top to bottom.

A group from company called ahead two hours before we wanted to eat, and they said they were fine seating 18. We arrived when we said we would (7:00p), and walked in. One of the waiters said he we couldn't eat there because our group was too large. We had made a reservation, but we were told the person we talked to must have been mistaken. The food might have been good, but we all ended up at the sushi restaurant across the street who was more than happy to accept our corporate expense funds. Annie's missed out.

I've been going here for years. Annie's is the best Thai food in town. The Basil Rolls are superb (ask for the Spicy Tray). The Nam Sod is outstanding and my favorite entree is the Rama Chicken. The prices are higher than your average place, but Annie's is way above average. Annie and her husband are in the kitchen every day. They do amazing job.

  • Shatul P.

Food very average. Overpriced with small portions. Service is atrocious. Two servers for the entire restaurant on a Friday. Servers were rude. Only good thing is the location

    (2)
  • Meredith M.

Ridiculously over-priced for subpar Thai food. You'd be better off ordering Thai delivery from any standard place.

Delicious Thai food. Acceptable service. Regular Thai food ambiance - white tablecloths, carpeted, quiet, minimal background music. Place was pretty crowded on a Tuesday. Food was good, we took the rest to eat tomorrow!

This is my favorite thai place in Atlanta, hands down. The service is always friendly, quick and efficient and the food is deeply enjoyable.

Great Thai food, enough said. The Rama Chicken is my personal favorite. Service can be hit or miss.

If I were basing this purely off of take out quality I would give it a 4. It is expensive for take out, however thai food typically is and these portions are huge! I just find the staff that works here mediocre and at times borderline rude. It won't stop me from ordering though because it is the best local Thai I have tried, but I would never eat inside. The pad thai is good, but its a standard, hard to mess up dish. The pa'nang curries are a must try. All the curries I have tried are good but that one in particular stands out.

  • Jared C.

I tried this place twice. First it is overpriced. Second the food is not good. I tried pad Thai and it is not pad Thai. I tried the salt and pepper chicken to go as well and it was so bad. It was dull chicken on a bed of cheap lettuce. I enjoy Thai food and will not eat this place again.

I love their basil and cheese rolls. Their chicken masaman rocks. I have eaten there many times, and consistently have had excellent dining experiences. My favorite Thai place by far in Atlanta.

  • Jason K.

Never even heard of it until this year and I've been in ATL for 25 years. (Me being stupid and going across the street to Genki all these years I guess..) It has to be some of the best Thai food in Atlanta. I have always gotten it to go, but I have to admit there bar looks stocked and ready to serve! Must tries/cannot go wrong's: Castle Cheese Roll (not what I expected at all...it was better.) Yum-Yai salad (can be the meal and it hits every taste bud you have; dressing not necessary) Chicken Coconut Soup (delish) Shrimp Masaman (oh my dear lord this was good! Must, must, must try) They give you a ton of rice so you have been warned; no need to order more. Place is perfect to pick-up (parking spot just for you right in front) and take home for a carpet picnic.

  • Karly G.

Ok, if you order the Coconut Chicken soup as a side without ordering from the lunch menu, it's full price for a bowl not a cup. So it would be cheaper to order the lunch menu that comes with the soup. I ordered the Thai Beef Salad, and unlike the other pitiful Little Bangkok where it comes with beef scraps, Annie's Thai Castle actually gives me real slices of beef. Don't be too overjoy just yet... I didn't like the texture of the beef though, it seem as though it's been lightly dipped into cornstarch because it has that floury coating on the beef. I kept eating because I wasn't sure if I liked it or not... And, I asked for extra spicy and I really think people do not take me seriously when I say I want to cry when I eat it... I guess they really didn't want to see me cry. :/ Their spring rolls were yummy, it comes in 2 (sliced into 4) with a peanut plum sauce, which is one of my favorite. I don't know if it's just me, but it's a pretty dark place. I think it needs extra lighting and the booth I was sitting in, needs new padding... it's like this one long padding that stretched from one side to the other and half of it was flipped over. Maybe it's the OCD in me that felt like it needed to be flipped and set correctly. I really wanted to do it...

I was torn between three and four stars for this place, but had to settle on three. The reason? Price. We came here the other day and the restaurant was mainly a lot of older couples, and after looking at the menu, I realized why - this place is expensive for thai food! Nonetheless, I felt the decor and the service here was pretty good. Our waiter was always refilling our water and asking us how our food was. The decor is also very nice and the portions are decent. The prices, however, are a little ridiculous. If you want shrimp anything it will be at least $15 for an entree. Pineapple fried rice was $15!! Soup was $10. So while we enjoyed our dining in experience, and felt the food was decently good (a lot better than most thai places in the area), I'm not sure we'll be coming back on the basis of cost. I've had cheaper thai food in NYC so there's no use in arguing that Buckhead rent is high - NY rent is high too. And unfortunately the food was not "the best thai food I've ever had", so I don't want to pay "the highest prices I've ever seen for thai food" here.

The food is tasty and the portions are hearty, but you cannot trust the staff or management to honor dietary restrictions. Vegans stay away. People with allergies should be extremely cautious. Sad this isn't important to them. ~I'm a former loyal customer.

Had a great night dinner with my Fiancé. A large part of that was because of our server, Alonso. He was beyond amazing, thank you. The food was great...the only thing I could add would be that the kitchen could be more accommodating to requests made to alter the meal. Thanks again, Alonso! See you next time! :)

Friendly waiters, fast seating, delicious food. Free valet parking. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but wow is it good. It's open late, too, which is nice.

This place is about as authentic as you would expect for a place that calls itself a "Thai Castle." I have only been by at lunch, but the dinner menu looked very similar to the lunch one. This place has all of the mainstream Thai dishes you would expect to see at any other Thai place down the block: Basil Rolls, Larb, Pad Thai etc. No big surprises here. Some of the other menu items use less traditional ingredients like jalapenos or chicken masaman with avocado. I would have to disagree with some of the other reviews on one point. I did like the chicken coconut soup (Tom Kha) but I don't think I've ever met a Tom Kha I didn't like. The Pad Prik Chicken is my favorite item and it will set you back 8 bucks with rice and soup or salad at lunch. I believe the entire lunch menu is under $10. They do have a pretty huge bar packed into a small space and I see some very interesting looking drinks walk by for the more adventurous lunch crowd.

Avoid this non-thai restaurant with other-Asian owners that have none of the grace of the Thais. The owners/managers are loud & aggressive. Our waitress was Thai, bu the non-Thai, aggressive manager kept on coming to our table to explain things (we needed vegetarian for my wife). His way of shouting his words was not to our liking. And, they couldn't make anything to meet our vegetarian needs because everything was preamade. Everything. We were alone in the restaurant, so if they had a real cook in the kitchen they would've been able to make us something, but they didn't. We got up and left before eating. As I said, we were the only the ones in the restaurant at the time (almost 10pm), and then went to try Little Bangkok which was jammed pack (and much better, but still not so great).

We came for the coconut soup and ended up staying for the basil rolls and sex tips. Several of my foodie friends swore the soup was "out of this world" but lets be honest, why does every food referral you claim is the best, end up the worst thing that friend has ever eaten?! The soup was just that, one of the worst things I've eaten. The odd chunks of chicken and dark, almost moldy black, baby mushrooms swimming in a tomato/coconut/paprika filled bowl was not appetizing. I also ordered the pad thai, which I am normally a fan of, but it had a very awkward citrus taste with a side of shredded lettuce and turnip I was unsure of what to do with. I took a few sips and bites just to say I tried it but, when we left, I had to eat 2 Krispy Kreme donuts just to rinse the taste from my mouth. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant just close enough to listen to the arrogant business guys discussing BJ tips and how their wife doesn't give out enough. "If she used her hand" said one guy. "I wish she made noises" said the other guy stroking his tie. They all finally agreed on: "It's not that hard to do!" You men have no idea what you're dealing with down there! Teeth placement, jaw stress, suction and gag reflex all the while bobbing up and down and trying to breath through our noses. Easy? Honey, they don't call it a JOB for nothin! Overall, I won't be going back to Annies again unless it's for the basil rolls and only if Dr Phil and his friends aren't around.

I grabbed some coconut shrimp soup (Tom Ka Kai) on the go from Annie's Thai Castle the other night for dinner. I was leaving the gym Wednesday so I was way too sweaty and nasty to actually dine out and just really wanted to go home. The weather outside was rainy and cold, so I was craving some good Tom Ka Kai soup with shrimp. After pulling out my phone and checked my handy dandy Yelp app to see where the closest Thai place was on my way home, and Annie's Thai Castle popped up. I called Annie's from the gym parking lot and ordered their coconut shrimp soup, they said it would be ready in 20 mins. So I left the gym with plenty of time to spare, getting to Annie's in about 10 minutes. After getting there I only had to wait for 5 minutes before my soup was finished, bagged, tagged, and ready to go. Once I got home I pulled out the soup and it really didn't look like the Tom Ka Kai soup I've become accustomed to from other Thai restaurants; the coconut curry milk and water were separated and it had a lot of stuff in there that I think were mushrooms. Anyway I took out a spoon and mixed it all together and it looked fine after that. The soup base itself was pretty good, but all the stuff inside wasn't. I mean they loaded it up with way too many mushrooms, and the shrimp were a little on the slimy side.

Sometimes a night out with friends can make food a mirage. Of course I found myself out at Annie's after a Beer Tasting, so I will leave it to your imagination of the state I was in. So after ditching the car keys 5 hours earlier and having the driver suggest this place, I was happy to try it out. I was more than pleased with the service and the Coconut Milk soup. It was like liquid happiness! The rice was great and I'm sure I had another beer served with a smile. The food that others let me taste left me craving for more. Total bliss! I'm going back to try the Basil Beef this weekend, so if there is any reason to update this review I'll let you know. Otherwise, I'll consider this one of the better Thai restaurants to visit.

ate here with some frands on cinco de mayo... haha. it was within walking distance from our next destination.. almost a block on the right of roswell rd from peachtree. they do have parking in the rear of the building. anyway, steer clear of sitting on patio. (you will never get served) the appearance of this "castle" seems old and ranned down. it gives they.. ancient thai vibe. but honestly, they really do need to re vamp the place. after being sat at our patio table it took almost 15 minutes to get our order. another 10 to bring our beverages. and another 20 to get our food. so what seemed like an eternity of waiting, we ate. food is okay, kind of bland and not up to par with out thai restaurants so for the price that they're asking... its not worth it. but still edible. i would like to try different entrees in the distant future.

Rude rude rude! First time ordering to go from this place. Showed up in half an hour as they told me to and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. Asked a waiter if someone could help me with a to go order. He looked and me and walked to his table to wait on his patrons. Hostess stand was empty and had been for the ten minutes I was waiting. Asked another waiter. He didn't even look at me, just kept walking. After 15 minutes I walked out. 10 minutes later Annie called me as she had my call back number from when I placed the order. She told me they were too busy with 30 other orders. I told her all I'd like was to have someone say hello and I understood that they were busy. She told me that next time I called she would not take my order! Amazing.

Last night I went to dinner at Annie's Thai Kitchen, and for the very first time in my life got up and left the restaurant because the manager was so rude. My girlfriend and I decided to eat at the bar which the manager works and words cannot describe how rude and aggressive this particular guy is. The restaurant was virtually empty at 8pm yet when we ask him for the simplest things he made us feel as if we were the worst customers on the planet. Our food was OK, not bad, not good either. But I refuse to ever let some disrespect my girlfriend or I the way this guy did, and he was the manager! From reading other post below about how rude the staff was I am comforted to know I am not the only one that has experienced this. I will never go back to that place again and look forward to the day their last penny is spent and a courteous restaurateur that believes in customer service and respect takes over. By the way, I just moved into the condo high-rise next door to the restaurant and wanted nothing more than for this to be a great experience. Terrible disappointment to say the least.

Went last night at 10pm. Was fantastic. Thai basil and eggplant was great and so was there Panang Chicken. Also a plus was the size of the portions. Usually these Thai places give you such small portions that you have to order 3 dishes to fill up. The plates were great portions for the price. Also the Basil rolls were as good as anywhere you can get.!!! Great location and a great place for a date and dinner

As Thai food is one of our favorite cuisines, my wife and I like to try new Thai restaurants in Atlanta. While Annie's isn't new, we had heard from someone that it's worth checking out. We came on a Saturday night with a friend. The location is pretty easy to find- it's right off Peachtree on Roswell. They didn't offer self-parking, so we had to valet the car (it was free..but of course you have to tip). The decor and atmosphere are nice. It seemed like a date place- our party of 3 was the biggest there. There is also a TV at the bar, so I was able to get some sports scores during my dinner. For an appetizer, we tried something that we had never seen on a Thai menu before- Avocado Basil Rolls. They were soft basil rolls with avocado, fried egg, spinach, and cream cheese. They were also drenched in a peanut sauce. None of us liked the flavor, and there was way too much sauce. For entrees, we ordered Chicken Spicy Fried Rice, Tofu Spicy Fried Rice, and Tofu Wide Noodles (someone on a nearby table said the Wide Noodles were great). The dishes were pretty tasty, but nothing special. The rice was too clumped together, and the chicken didn't seem like it was cooked well enough. The Tofu was firm and very good though. The Noodles were probably the best dish. On the plus side, portions were large. Service was decent. The people at the neighboring table asked for spicy red sauce with their doggie bag, but the waitress said they don't allow sauce to go. I found that strange. Also, the menu says there is a minimum order of $10.95 a person. This might cause problems if you order a cheaper entree and a water. The overall experience was decent, but definitely does not compare to our gold standard for Thai (Top Spice in Toco Hill).

Solid Thai American food....Very digestible for the American palate. The food is fresh and served hot. Very good value for lunch - skip the spicy spaghetti and try the Prad Prik Chicken, Basil Beef or Spicy Seafood selection. My friend swears by the Green Curry or the Massam Curry - nice hearty entree. The interior could use a refresh but the service is friendly and efficient. White table cloths are a nice touch. Lunch is the deal here and the prices go up a good bit for dinner. I want to give it 4 stars but that is just not how I rate restaurants. I go here for quick lunch about once a month.

Usually decent, service takes forever. They really need to improve this and it would be a pretty decent spot.

I do not know what these other people are talking about. The Chicken Coconut soup is one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. If you want it without mushrooms, then specify that. The food here, is really good. I usually get the angel hair mushroom (PadWoonsen), and it is yummy. The thai basil rolls are some of the best I have had. Just look on urban spoon and there is an 86% (like) with far more reviews. It's a bit more upscale than most thai restaurants, with a bar, cloth napkins and cloth table cloths. So, if you are looking for a bargain basement trashed-out place that sells frozen, reconstituted food, this is NOT for you!

I've driven over two hours on many occasions to enjoy the food here. I always stop in when coming thru and pull up a chair. It's gotten less popular, but the food hasn't been matched anywhere I've tried in the United States for Thai. I did find a place in Washington DC that was great, but it still wasn't Annie's.

I've lived in the Atlanta area for 20 years now and have driven past Annie's Thai Castle many times, disregarding it simply because of the hokey name. A few weeks ago we decided to to give it a try and what a great decision. W tried the coconut soup and it was very very good! The chicken was moist and fresh and the flavor of the soup was what you hope Tom Kha will taste like when you see it on a new menu. The menu items are standard Thai dishes and to be expected. My fiance and I sat at the bar and enjoyed the scene and the company of the eccentric bar tender. Then Annie came out and asked us how our food was and thanked us for coming. Overall the food was very good (B+) and the atmosphere and hospitality brought it up to an A-. I would definitely come back and would say that my overall experience puts Annie's Thai Castle in my top 3 Thai Restaurants in Atlanta.

Ate here for the first time tonight (Tuesday). It wasn't too busy as we were having a late (8pm) dinner. Had the valet park my car (tipped him $2). The food was good. Not amazing, but certainly good. Price was typical for Buckhead - about $12-14 per entree. I ordered Chicken & Cashew while my date had the House Pad Thai. I also had a Thai ice tea. I wouldn't call it the best Thai food that I've ever had (that goes to restaurants in Thai Town in LA), but it's certainly good for Atlanta. Probably in the same ballpark as Ma Li, and I liked it better than Thai Coon. My fav in town is still Thai Star. Service was fine. Our waitress mostly left us alone after a certain point, probably thinking we wanted our privacy. When we wanted to settle the bill, I had to track her down, but she promptly got me the check at that point.

I'm surprised by how many 3 star reviews for this place. My fiance went with a friend and she loved it, so we went together and I loved it too. Parking is free valet...so that means it will cost you a tip to park. The place does look a little bit older on the outside but it was quite nice and comfy inside. Service was great. There was absolutely no problems with the service. Ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken and the Pad Thai with chicken. Pad Thai was good. It had a good taste but nothing that I jumped up and down about. I don't usually order that anyway so I wanted to try it. The Spicy Basil....the best Thai dish I've yet to eat. I order this usually at other places and is one of my favorites. We ordered it HOT. It came somewhat hot, perfectly spicy as to feel it without having just heat. It was spot on. I will get it again. Didn't order spring rolls or anything. My fiance ordered a drink, it was called the Thai Cat (Martini)...I was surprised to see it was $10 but remember it is still Buckhead. She also had the soup and she loved that too. I can't wait to go back. Both entree's were $12.50 each, so right about average for the prices.

Fresh, plentiful Thai standards and Annie never forgets a face or name. While Annie's is not as cheap as some of it's competitors, it's far and away much higher quality.

Having just arrived back from our amazing honeymoon in Thailand, my new husband and I were itching for some tasty, authentic Thai noodles. Annie's did not disappoint. We both ordered the Pad Kee Mao, or drunken noodles. What they set down in front of us was a heaping pile of fresh vegetables and noodles, covered in a sauce that reminded us both of the food we had on our honeymoon. I was a little disappointed because I wished the wide noodles were the fattest kind that were made fresh, but I guess I can't be too choosy. Overall, it was very good and I would go back for more. The service was prompt, and the decor is nice as well. The prices are mid-range ... not great, but not horrible. Another thing to note is that they do have Chang -- the Thai beer of choice -- in the back if you ask for it. It's not the same ass-kicking 9% alcohol variety you'll find over in Thailand, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. One annoying thing is the "valet" parking, which isn't exclusive to Annie's (in fact, every restaurant on that street is like that) but still a damper on the experience. You pull up and give your car keys to the valet who literally drives it five feet into one of the nearby spots. Not a huge deal, but an annoying way to spend $5.

Yes, I am writing an update and this place has lost a star. Again, my friend and I met here for lunch hoping to have the same yummy meal and great service. Not this time. We went this past tuesday and it was packed. I guess since the place is closed on Mondays, everyone decided to go Tuesday. Anyway, the service was extra slow. My food was still tasty, and I made sure not to get that coconut milk chicken soup again (I was able to substitute an egg roll). The waitress failed to tell my friend that she would be charged for substituting chicken for scallops (which was messed up). I thought when you ask the waitstaff for a to-go box, they would go ahead and bring the bill. Not this time. It took her 15 more minutes to come back to the table to ask if we were ready for the bill. Duh-lady! So the loss in the star is service related instead of food related. If they know that they get hit hard on Tuesdays, they should be better prepared with enough people to serve the customers - especially during peak lunch hours.

Had the Panang Curry (chicken) tonight. I really enjoyed it! It's nice to know there's a Thai place close to me. I was starting to think Ma Li in the Highlands was the only one!

Substitute any meat dish with tofu. I get the Prikh King, and it's awesome. Good portions, courteous wait staff. Careful with the "spicy" ratings. Once it was 1-10, the last time I went it was 1-3. Glad I got a 2, it was plenty spicy!

As far as Thai goes, this is the worst I've had, my recommendation is to go someplace else. The basil roll had a very thick doughy consistency like pizza and lacked any flavor. My main entre was green curry, that was supposed to be spicy that lacked any heat or flavor, I found it very bland and had to add powdered pepper to give it flavor. The bar is adjacent to the small dining room, which had an open wall between then and listed to the loud drinkers, had enough and asked the rest of my meal to go to doctor up when I get back to a friends.

This place is all right, but honestly a lot more expensive than I feel thai food should be. It is very pretty though, and in Buckhead, so I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised about being overpriced. The thing that bothers me though is the fact that I think they recycle rice. Meaning, if you decide to take home some of your meal (which I always have, because I've been unable to eat all of it), they never give you your rice with it. There is no reason not to, unless they don't just throw out their rice after someone's touched it, and give it to someone else. The thought of that makes my stomach churn. Also, while I love Thai curries, I have to admit a weakness for rice noodle dishes, and they really don't have that great of a variety of them. Overall, I guess if you feel ambience and area are worth it, give this place a try, but they're not particularly friendly (I find their service cold) and I have to question what it is they do with their rice.

The food isn't the best. but it's passable. There's a full bar and parking in the back, but it's hard to get out of those spots if you are a bad driver like me. I placed an order for lunch take out, was told it'd be ready in 25 minutes. got there in 20 and still had to wait for another 15 before I got my meal. I got the fried rice. it was plentiful so the $12 price tag wasn't so bad. The rice could have tasted better. The catfish there is also pretty good and you get a good size portion. it's close and that's why I go there.

Annie's has been my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in Atlanta for years. Everytime I've taken anyone there for the first time, they always fall in love with the place and swear it's the best Thai they've ever had. The basil rolls are the ABSOLUTE BEST - better than Surin's for sure. The catfish is too, too good and the coconut and fried banana desert is heaven. I've eaten there probably 40-50 times since it opened and have never had a bad meal.

I've been coming to Annie's Thai Castle for years, and it's on my rotation of "go-to" restaurants in Buckhead. I've always had great meals here (the thai noodles are great), and the service is quick, efficient, and friendly. The portions are large, and there is always enough to take home for a second meal. The parking is a little tight, so there is a valet. If you are looking for an alternative to Genki or Rio Grande next door, I encourage you to check out Annie's Thai Castle-you will not be disappointed!!

Great Thai food! A few time my extended family has gone here to eat on Christmas Eve re rolling across the street to Peachtree Presbyterian for the beautiful candlelight service. Good times!

I like the food here. Recommend the garlic shrimp which is delicious-o-so. The location is close to work, so I especially go there a lot. Definitely worth a visit - the best Thai place that I could find in the immediate Buckhead area (although Little Bangkok is a better value and Thai Chili has better food - both are a bit of a drive from the Buckhead business district).

Excellent Thai. The best in the city. We used to go regularly to Top Spice (which is very good), but this one takes the prize. The outside is un-assuming, and for first time visitors, it leaves you thinking if you made a mistake coming here. But, once you step in, its another world, nice ambient lighting (a tad too dark, but nice in its own way), and a nice, upscale decor. The food is outstanding. All dishes, from fish to the curries are first rate. This will be my first choice when thai-ing out.

Annie's is a very quaint spot on the edge of Buckhead Village for a nice meal. The quiet dining room and quality food always please. They also do a great job with takeout.
