Simple breakfast food Chicken fried something and toast low breakfast prices Breakfast can be such a pain, right? Toasting. And cooking eggs. Yuk! That's why places like Rick's exists. Making breakfast sucks. Rick's will make it for you, and most of it for less than $10. Toast, eggs, fried things, gravy, biscuits, and super super early in the morning if you'd like. CASH ONLY. There is an ATM. Rick's is a simple humble breakfast stop. It is super cheap. Average delicious and I would come here again in a heartbeat.

My family has been coming here for years. Today was the last time we will be there. Tammy a waitress there made a seen over my granddaughter that was uncalled for. Even though my granddaughter did wrong but we did handle it. However not to tammys liking. Tammy proceeds to yell and scream at my husband telling him to beat her ass. Any owner that would allow the staff to scream yell and cuss at customers is not for me. Beware.

We pass this restaurant all the time and ive always wanted to eat here because i love family restaurants. We walked in sat down order and an employee was yelling at a customer about how he raised his daughter. Apparently the child had put the air freshener on the floor in the bathroom. The waitress was yelling at him and made the little girl cry and was saying my children would never do that because they know better and she said that they need to learn how to raise their children. We walked out and will never come back.

I had French toast sausage and coffee. Dad had eggs grits and a muffin w/ coffee. Total bill $12. Price was small but portions even smaller. French toast consisted of two pieces of what could be considered WonderBread made into French toast. Absolutely nothing excessive. Even coffee cup is small. This restaurant belongs in one of the hobbit movies because of size but then again hobbits like to eat. Honestly as a young adult I'd need to order at least two meals and sides to make a meal and by then it'd be cheaper to go elsewhere. If you are tight on funds, this is the place to go.

I am rating based on breakfast options here in Zephyrhills, and there are lots. If it's convenient to you this is a fine option. The food is ok, nothing amazing. If you want bigger portions and super friendly service go to Sunrise Cafe. If you want better taste at a better price go to "2 Seconds" Again, not bad food, just Ok food. You can tell by the fact there are empty tables here and those other two places are packed every morning. If you want more elbow room and instant seating this might be your place.

If you're looking for some good breakfast at fair prices you'll be happy at Rick's. When you come in there is no hostess to seat you, just look for an open table and help yourself. They have pretty much all your standard breakfast foods and I haven't found anything super special about the food other than it's consistently good. The only down side I have seen is this is a cash only operation
