Very bad experience it was almost 2 hrs before closing and they were out of everything almost 75% of the menu and on top of that it took them almost 10 minutes to take my order! On top of that the table was dirty i wanted my drink she didnt even offer! Very bad service!!

I like this pollo a lot. I was a bit frustrated yesterday evening because it was a really long wait for 2 wraps (like 10-15mins), so I had to wait in a parking space. I'm patient, but there's a reason you go to get fast food...and it sure ain't for the health benefits. But either way, when they brought the wraps out they included 2 extra- an apology for the wait I'm assuming, which was very nice. Also, if you've never had their curry mustard, you are missing out. It os sooo good, especially with chicken and their wraps. So good that my husband and I always try to replicate making the sauce at home when we want something zesty to go with our poultry dishes. Their pineapple rum sauce is also very good. I love tomatoes, so am a huge fan of their balsamic tomatoes side- brings out the italian in me. The tomatoes are not mushy and soggy in the balsmic vinegar- impressive in my opinion for a 'shove and luv' place. I also enjoy their plantains. Cooked exactly the way I like em, some have more of a soft consistency, and others are super fried (and I personally love having both types in the serving of a side). I will definitely make this a regular stop on my way home from school.

Pollo tropical is cheap. It is fast. It is usually good! (they have some off days) However, these workers are not efficient. THEY ALWAYS FORGET MY DAMN MOJO. I love mojo and that is all I want with my yuca or tropichop. I can't even tell you how many times I look them dead in the face, smile, ask politely for mojo, and then either have to ask again or pull off without it! People, I am just a girl who loves mojo with her yuca. lol That's what makes me happy in life. Better than Mcdonald's..it's a go!

AMAZING FOOD! .. with BAD service. This specific restaurant in Winter Park (University Blvd & Forsyth), offers great tasting, well cooked fresh food, although I highly recommend it for lunch, and early afternoon rather than late evening (later during the day, meals seem reheated and not fresh). However, if you are expecting a friendly crew and accurate service .. you will not find it here. I have ordered here a few times (I live close by) and not once, have I ever seen an attendant smile. Not to mention, when you order through the drive-thru, the attendants seem to feel frustrated when you ask questions about the food, and seem to rush you when you are placing an order. Horrible :-(. Another thing, YOU MUST CHECK YOUR ORDER once they hand it to you, especially through the drive-thru. On three of the four times, I have ordered through here, I had to come back to pick up the missing components of the family meal. BEWARE. Otherwise, if you just want great tasting food without minding the service .. you'll be fine.

I heard alot about this place and decided to give it a try. I tried the wings with rice and black beans. My boyfriend had the boneless chicken breasts with rice and black beans. I would have rated this place higher but off the bat the place was not clean. We went in to order and all the tables were dirty and they needed to be cleaned. Once we got home (which was 2 minutes later) the food was extremely COLD! My boyfriend said that his chicken breasts were lukewarm but at least he had a little heat to his. My wings were cold, the bread was cold and a little tough, and the rice and beans were good....... just wish they were warmer. The food did have a great taste to it though. Filled with flavor. The cold food just killed the experience for me. It made my first time experience a bad experience.

The food here is pretty good for fast food and it is very tasty and not over priced at all. The service is good and the place it self is clean including bathrooms. Everything they offer here is Spanish food and anything from plantains to black beans, rice , chicken. Pollo Tropical was founded in the south and begin to move up north, a while back they changed there name to Ell Pollo Loco but decided to move back to it's original name. Just like the Altamonte location it is a great place to get some good and quick Spanish food almost like home made but still can leave you satisfied.

The chicken was extremely dry. I had to pay a little change to get some BBQ sauce to make it eatable. The rolls are straight from a bulk delivery container and tasteless. The only saving grace is it is cheap.

Chicken is usually good but the sides vary in quality. Today the boiled yuca tasted as if it had been soaked in a salt brine and the green beans were too dried and shriveled to eat

Avoid at all costs. This Pollo Tropical is the worst. I've been here several times because I live down the street. The food never comes out. They always mess up the order. And everyone here hates their lives. If you want to come somewhere equally as cheap, but a hundred times better in taste in taste and service, drive half a mile up the road to La Granja--it is so much better.

Very poor service. My boyfriend and I walked in to find all dirty tables and the manager standing in the lobby talking to friends. We went up to the counter to order but she still continued standing there talking! The other workers behind the counter looked up at us but they were all in the middle of filling drive through orders I guess. After about 3 minutes our order was finally taken. Then the manager went back to the lobby to continue talking while the few people in the back were struggling to keep up with orders. She at least could have been cleaning the tables or refilling the sauces (they were all empty). The food was ok though.

I love this place! I wish we had one in San Jose. The typical chicken fast food place in California besides KFC and Popeyes is El Pollo Loco. El Pollo Loco is nothing compared to Pollo Tropical. Pollo Tropica chicken is much juicier and moist. Portions are bigger too! I love that they have guava bbq and culantro sauce that adds extra flavor to already delicious chicken. The sides are great too! They have side items that El Pollo does not have like yucca frita and sancocho soup. I like that a side of caesar salad is generously portioned (it's like the size of a mc donald's salad entree). What I did not care for are the rolls. They were pretty stale. Other than that, everything else is good! I will definitely come back if I visit Orlando again.

I don't usually eat fast food. This is my one exception. It's close to work and offers a discount to employees of my employer. It barely passes as fast food, however, because it's so dang healthy! I get the TropiChop with chicken, rice and veggies and I pay less than $5 for that and a soda. All the employees are friendly and even though dining in the restaurant isn't that great of an experience, I frequent the drive-thru as often as possible.
