I stop here for oysters and shrimp! Good American menu too! Reasonable prices and friendly clientele! Ice cold beer and specials during weekdays! Wednesday oyster specials! Don't judge a book by its cover, the same with this pub!

This is a fun place! Don't get me wrong, its a dirty little hole in the wall, but the oysters are great and the live music is always fun!

This little bar does not look like much from the outside. But I got to say that their food is great. I had ordered their Deluxe Burger and it was excellent. I heard their food was good so I finally went their to eat and I was not disappointed.

Place doesn't look like much from the outside, but WOW! Best oysters I've ever had! Wednesday is the best day to go as they come in fresh and are $15 for 30 of them. They shuck them right there at the bar and they have always been plump and juicy. Also their shrimp is awesome whether you order it steamed or cold. They are also prepared per order, so it may take a little longer but it is sure worth it. The draft beer is cold and cheapest around. Service has always been great.

Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside this place looks a little scary. Not really a place you want to order oysters at. But once inside my feelings changed. This place is family owned and operated. Nothing fancy just a little home town bar off the main road with some of the best oysters I have had in a while. Fresh, tasty and clean. Not just the oysters but everything we had. From the fried fish to the wings all was very good and the prices are great. Wednesday is bucket night, 2 1/2 doz. for $15 . Shucked to order behind the bar and you can wash them down with $1 drafts. I will make it a point to stop in here whenever I am up this way. I love these little surprises wish I could find more. Till next time Cheers.

Closed on Sunday, but worth coming back! I ordered gizzards, fried shrimp and oysters to no disappointment- even my picky teen ate the fried shrimp breading because it was unique breading. Very good fried foodie place!

Wow, what a great place! Beyond reasonable prices for delicious food. This is definitely a locals place but welcoming to outsiders. We're staying with family at the Villages and read the reviews on this place and we had to try since we love oysters and wings. Yes, it's a little rough around the edges but the folks working here are friendly and hospitable. We did 15 oysters (half bucket) for under $12. Under a buck an oyster, that's insane! Up in New England you can easily pay $2.50-$3.25 an oyster. They were shucked and delivered quickly to our table with lemons, cocktail sauce, and horseradish. The oysters were fresh and briny and varying sizes. Some were still attached to shells but no sweat for the low price. The wings were hands down some of the best we've had. We tried the dry blackened (not actually black just heavy coating of seasoning spices) and the medium wet buffalo sauce. Big, juicy, meaty wings, can't go wrong! Perfect amount of crisp. Served with blue cheese, celery, and carrots. Whether you are a local or out of towner, definitely stop in. Two thumbs up for the fried pickles too. We'll be back our next visit!

Sign out fronts says "Family Owned, Bikers Welcome," well, that brought me to a full stop as I pull in to drink beer and eat oysters with family and bikers. Day one of my vacation, and first stop from the airport. I'm off to the right start. Glad I did. Small but very clean place, nothing fancy but it is put together well with a long bar and many tables. Owner's daughter working behind the bar, $1 draft, $1.50 premium draft. We got a pitcher, a bucket of fresh oysters (30), and two kinds of wings. They had a fish fry as well. Beer cold, oysters shucked and served right there on the bar for us by aforementioned daughter, and dry-run wings are fantastic. Bikers arrived as afternoon wore on, well behaved. Cheap, cold beer, fun, clean, family-owned, great fresh oysters, delicious wings, good service, exactly what I was looking for. Stop going to crappy chains and awful fast food places and support this local business. Stop in for lunch and a cold one.

Well they have the most important thing right and that is the great oysters! This place isnt much to look at and when it isnt oyster season I probably would go..but during season the staff and oysters are great and the beers are reasonable.

Love the wings in the Oh Shucks sauce. Beer is cold and only a dollar. Hamburgers are thick and juicy. Super staff. Go often on Saturday for the .55 wings.

Great little place to go. Especially if you like oysters n wings! They have some of the best wings I've had, and they always come out perfect. Service while sitting at the bar was also top notch they do get busy so if they only have one bartender you may have to wait but trust me it will be well worth it! Please check it out and enjoy!

Great review so we go. First building is nasty and old. Property does not look good. We walk in . It looks like Harley Davison biker bar. They seat on back on bench like if you when to the park to eat wow. Afraid to order anything else but burgers. Burgers come just ok for me. Because if I wanted to eat in my back yard I would stayed home. Amazing review may be for sea food? Oh well people I talked to tell me best restaurant in wildwood florida. Thank god for The Villages.

O'Shucks is a little divey bar/oyster shack off the side of the main road. I normally would not eat at a place like this, but it was recommended by some friends and working out here in the villages, there aren't many non-chain restaurants to eat at. We ordered a bucket of oysters (30 oysters) and 20 wings. It was Saturday, so the wings were $0.55/ea, cheaper than their usualy wings basket. We tried the special sauce, as well as some of the dry rubs. The wings were cooked just right and the special sauce is a must try! A little tangy, a little sweet and very sticky! When we devoured our wings, we were patiently waiting for our oysters... and waiting.... there weren't many other patrons so we decided to ask and THEY FORGOT! haha Simple mistake, but I was just thinking, if a group of girls ate all their wings and were just sitting there, wouldn't a bell ring that they probably ordered something else? They shucked our oysters and brought them out on a tray, and they were good! I'm not sure what type of oysters they were, but they were of decent size and with lemon and hot sauce, they were great! If I'm in the Villages one weekend again, I will be back and hopefully they remember my full order!

Great food and service. Had the freshest oysters I've had in a long time. Don't let the outside appearance put you off. The interior is clean, welcoming, and friendly.

Just by chance we hit "bucket of oysters" night (Wednesday) on our last night of vacation. The place was packed but after standing crowded between the bathroom door and the jukebox for a few minutes a place at the bar opened up. Definitely worth the wait. Absolutely no frills kinda place. But a bucket consisted of 30 raw oysters shucked right in front of us out of the bushel bag they were delivered in that morning for 15 bucks. There were 2-3 employes shucking non-stop the entire time we were there. Such a wonderful surprise. The fried calamari and clam chowder were just so so. The oysters are the reason to make the trip.

We found this little bar on Yelp when searching for a seafood restaurant outside the Villages colony. It is as billed a dive bar in appearance. We went on a Wednesday night for the oyster special and were told they missed their shipment and were promptly offered a couple of rainchecks so we went on Saturday and ordered a bucket of oysters. Well let me tell you these were some big, succulent, oysters. We just about got full on oysters, how often does that happen. We also had some wings, the wets were better than the dry which were a bit too salty. The cheeseburger I ordered was excellent and the beer was cold. If you looking for a friendly dive bar with really memorable oysters than give this place a try. Service was friendly and top notch as well.

Yelp reviews did not steer me wrong on this one. I ventured in Friday night with my mother and brother. We did have to wait a bit for a table. It was freezing outside so there was really no place to cool our heels while we waited. But eventually, a table freed up. Unfortunately, it was right near the jukebox which made it completely impossible for my 74 year old mother to hear anything. It might be nice if O'Shucks kept the volume a little lower, especially during the dinner hours. The food, however, was awesome! The prices also pretty much blew my mind. Their house brew is $1. $1. Just let that sink in. I had raw oysters, fried oysters, wings, and I tried the burger. The breading on the oysters is flavorful, crunchy, and not too thick. It was a perfect fried oyster. The raw were great too, if a little on the small side. Proving that this place can satisfy landlubbers as well as sea folk, the burger was delicious too. I liked the wings, but they weren't my favorite item. I got the naked garlic and I will admit, they were pretty tasty leftover cold the next day. You can't go wrong at O'Shucks. If you are in the Wildwood, Leesburg, Villages area - make the trip!

I'm always on the lookout for independently owned restaurants around The Villages. When I searched for a place for oysters O'Shucks! popped up and boy am I glad we looked past the appearance to try it. We had amazingly succulent steamed and fried oysters, fried sweet pickles, fried mushrooms and parmesan garlic wings. I'm a sauce person so I loved that everything came with a different dipping sauce, tartar, cocktail, blue cheese, house dressing and horsey sauce. Kelly our waitress was a real crack up. We enjoyed great service and lively banter. From the reviews I read I would have thought the only menu items were oysters, wings and burgers, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a good variety of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. I would highly recommend stopping in for the $20 oyster special on Wednesdays and be sure to check out their lovely beer garden.

Good local favorite. Nice selection of drafts and other beverages. Food menu is a good variety and large portions. Staff has always been helpful. Just a short drive from Brownwood.

We stopped in here on the way back from an outing to weekiwachi and had a hankerin for some oysters and beer the beer was cold and the oysters were great - nice flavor when I asked what kind they were the waitress didn't know, all she knew was that they were from Texas. Whatever kind they were they were good nice bright flavor, also came with a standard horseradish cocktail sauce - why muddle the flavor? also had a half pound of steamed shrimp boy were they good, big plump with a nice "pop" as the dining partner would say will definitely be back to this place when down here again

We were really hungry for raw oysters and some wings, and shrimp....bad got worse! After spending day at Leesburg bikefest drove car down for some dinner. What we got was ignored for first 15 minutes. Beer was cold but after a 30 min wait for raw oysters... They were warm and filled with bits of shells! Husband asked about why it took so long only to be bitched out by big fat blond! She told us we were not the only customers! Really? Wings are good! Jumbo shrimp on menu....NO....maybe small with jumbo breading! I have eaten shrimp all over this country....these were the worst! Sucks cause it's in my area! If you want to be put down by employees....eat here! Thumbs down from me!

Great food and personal service. The Onion Ring are done in their own batter and come with a delish sauce. The Fried Green Beans are great and unique. Oysters and Chicken Gizzards are good. Will definitely be back!

thumbs up for an oyster bar in central Florida! outside appearance could fool you.......fun, casual atmosphere inside with great oysters at a great price! when we went, the oysters were fresh from Texas and were excellent... the bar waiters, waitresses are fast and efficient at shucking right in front of you if you sit at the bar! the 2 of us enjoyed 2 buckets of oysters (30 in a bucket) and loved them. beer was cold, draft, and cheap! gotta go back!

This is a great dive with fantastic raw oysters and cold beer - a cuisine unto itself. Get a bucket or three, a pitcher or three and kick back, watch them get shucked in front of you and enjoy some great oysters! They get them from TX, LA or FL depending on the time of year and they are all delicious!

First of all $2 blue moons. I know this place looks crazy and it kind of is. The oysters were a little green and probably should be colder. But the cocktail sauce was good. If you are an oyster snob don't eat them. The wings were great even mild burned my lips! Probably won't go here again not exactly my crowd but not a bad meal at all.
