This fell short of our expectations. When I made reservations I told them it was hubby's birthday. When we arrived they told us to wait 10 minutes for our table to be ready. I figured they were decorating it for hubby's birthday - with confetti and a birthday card, the way Capital Grille did the 2 times we went there for birthday dinners without reservations. But our table had nothing on it. We asked to see the cocktail menu for bourbon drinks. Doug, the server asked my husband what brand he liked. He was guiding him into picking a drink and I asked again for the cocktail menu. Doug told me that he would get it but thought he could make hubby's drink while he went to the bar to get the menu. What the? Dude the point is we wanted to look at your offerings, not have you rush hubby into making a decision to save you steps. But hubby went along and ordered an Old Fashioned . We toasted his birthday with his drink and my water because the server dropped off the cocktail menu and left. When he returned I ordered the same drink because it tasted good. But my drink was much stronger than hubby's so we swapped. The food: We liked the lavash the best. The pretzel rolls were soft and almost gummy. The butters were ok but none of us raved. None of us used the 4 types of salt because we actually have a salt sampler on our dining room table so it's no biggie. (We all picked a steak knife just for the fun of it - Mom had fish and didn't need one but we went with it.) The $60 crab-stuffed lobster tails were the best I ever had. The fist-sized, breadcrumb-free buttery crab topped 2 thick sweet tails. The very tasty $60 mid rare wagu steak was not juicy. It sat on a mostly empty white plate that shrunk the steak, 3 cippolini onions and garnish. The foie gras appetizer was in a small pan containing a 4 inch piece of soft foie gras, diced butternut squash, dried cherries and Nueske's bacon. Doug warned it was a '2 bite dish' but it was rich so the portion was right. The Caesar salad was good too - the anchovies were plump and the creamy dressing balanced the salt in the fish and cheeses. The Brussels sprouts were ok - I wish they weren't overcooked and over-seasoned. The truffle macaroni and cheese was a plate of black speckled corkscrew pasta in a cream sauce topped with what looked like shredded white and orange cheese from a bag. We tasted truffle but question if they used truffle powder or truffle oil. The halibut was creamy soft and delicious. Was it worth $39? I don' t think so but it was good. After nearly everything was packed to go - we got full fast - Doug brought plates and spoons to the table for 'something on the house for having to wait for (our) table'. I said I thought it was because it was my husband's birthday and he said 'Oh, happy birthday' and walked away. When the desserts were served, there were no candles, no one sang, nothing. The desserts were ok - between the 3 of us we didn't finish any of the 3" dishes of pear creme brulee, berry topped cheesecake, or chocolate mousse. Mom said it best when she said the coffees were 'like water'. They only brought 2 lukewarm cups initially and then another cup that was hot. The coffee lacked flavor so there was no point in asking for hot coffee - none of us drank it. When the bill came, the drinks weren't on it. I asked the hostess if she could send Doug over and when he arrived I got about 2 words out before he told me that he had our drink bill at the bar and that he'd combine the 2 bills. He returned with the bill and presented it to hubby. I took it, saying the birthday boy doesn't get the bill. Doug said nothing and left again. The hostess came over and told me that she reminded Doug that one of his tables was celebrating tonight but he seemed to have forgotten. Whatever Doug. I gave you a generous tip because the co-server Jose did a great job. But we all agree, Capital Grille made us feel that they cared about our celebration. They also served delicious food (stuffed lobster, coffee rubbed steak, champagne, etc.) and made sure we felt the love. We plan on going there this weekend to redeem this experience. And when my birthday rolls around we're going there.

Have left messages for this restaurant to ask questions and make a reservation and my call was never returned. I was trying for a Saturday night for 4 people. Guess they don't want my business. I will not call again and will take my business elsewhere.

It could have just been our timing but this place was loud loud LOUD. A family behind us all talking over each other and taking blinding flash photo's through out dinner and another to the right playing with strobe lights. The food was only mediocre for the price, my fish was slightly over cooked and my boyfriends steak over seasoned. However the lobster Mac and cheese was AMAZING!!! Unreal. Delicious. But get it as take out and avoid the chaos.

Great experience once again for my Birthday with the family. Irleand's is the perfect spot for special occasions or when you simply want an awesome steak. Great service and great food. Location is a bit challenging for the first time going, but once you know where is it - you will return. Enrique Lopez the maitre'd always ensures a fantastic experience.

This is a hidden gem. Seriously! Located inside a very dated hotel in Weston, Florida, this steakhouse delivers like no other neighborhood steakhouse ever has. We have been here many many times (including New Year's dinner one year) and look forward to many many more. The highlights for me is the bread tray (make sure to try the pretzel rolls), scallops, rib eye, and the beef wellington surf & turf with foie gras and shitake mushrooms. For sides, their truffle Mac-N-Cheese is phenomenal!!! As for dessert, my favorite is the New York cheesecake. This is a great steakhouse experience and you can bring your own wine as well for a $35 corkage fee.

My favorite Weston restaurant!! Food and service are excellent! Expensive, but if you are looking for an amazing meal and prepared to pay top steak house prices, well worth the price. Also great dirty martinis!

Amazing foie gras with bacon, sweet potato and raisins in a cherry compote for appetizer, pretzel bread with mustard seed butter and bone in rib-eye. Service was excellent too.

Came here years ago on a "coupon deal". The restaurant was hard to find; the entrance is at the back of the building. Service excellent; Food excellent as well.

Went to Ireland's for a business dinner. Started out as a quiet night, as they open at 5:30. We arrived at 6 pm for our reservation. This restaurant is a hidden gem tucked inside the bonaventure country club. If you didn't know it was there you would never find it. For business purposes it ended up getting much louder as the night carried on and some point it became very hard to hear our dinner guests. This place is fancy pants... All the way. At first seating they introduce us to the three types of breads and coordinating 3 types of butters. Which were all delicious, I might add. Next, they explain the 4 types of salts to season your entree. I thought this was all neat but I didn't think it was over the top until I heard the knife presentation. They bring out a box of 4 or 5 knifes and give you a choice of which you want to use for your entree. I have never seen this before! I didn't have any idea which to choose, so I left the server select mine based on his recommendation. We started our meal with salads and/or soup. For sides we had the lobster Mac and cheese, asparagus, potatoes augratin. We all ordered different cuts of steak and they were really good. One member of our party had to request hers sent back to cook more as it wasn't prepared to her order. They were happy to cook it longer. We opted for cappuccinos and coffee to end our meal and tried the chocolate sampler which was awkward to share. Wish the waiter had recommended us to make another selection.however the Nutella pudding was amazing and you should try it! Cappuccino was served with rock candy and I always love that. I would recommend Ireland's for special occasions or taking a client you want to impress. We went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy during prime time. I bet this place is packed on the weekend! The servers were really good and we were well taken care of.

Went to Ireland's Steakhouse for my birthday. It was far and above superior to any steakhouse we have ever been to. It is obvious there's a culture of excellent service associated with this establishment. My husband entertains clients at steakhouses nationwide and he was impressed. Our wedge salad, perfectly baked potato, fabulous bread basket, complete with a variety of butters, and spices only enhanced the experience of the delicious entree of Wagyu beef. We were attended by several knowledgeable servers and the manager checked on us a few times just to make sure everything was to our liking. It ended with a surprise birthday treat of not one but three delicious small desserts which was the perfect amount for two. We highly recommend going here as often as possible!!!!

Excellent service. Ambiance was pretty good. The menu didn't have any prices. Why? Oddly, ahead of the meal, I was given a selection of four knives. Were they trying to seem sophisticated? After polling my more sophisticated friends, I learned this is as I suspected, not a thing. Nor should it be. I can't think of a decision less worthy of the waiter's time. With reckless abandon, I ordered steak--there are no cows in Florida. Still, it was huge and cooked perfectly. The vegetable was overcooked. Total bill for the two: $60. I'd say overpriced, not worth it but if you cannot cook, you are trying to show off, or you don't care about money this place will do ya fine.

I went to Ireland's Steakhouse with my girlfriend on a Saturday night before going to see the Cirque du Soleil show that was in town. It was pretty empty which is never a good sign on a Saturday night but then again it was only 6pm. The service from sitting down to leaving was amazing. This also could have been from the lack of other patrons in the establishment. The prices are definitely on the way-high up there, starting to think if your card is going to be denied-high. I'm not sure that the steaks will speak for the price, but the service makes up for any doubt one might have. The New York Strip I had was perfectly grilled medium rare and extremely tasty. The sauces they provide are also very good. You can tell they pay attention to every detail when they bake three different types of bread with home made butter to match each bread. All of which were delicious. They even give you a choice of four different steak knives you can use, with differences in grip, weight and size. I was surprised how much this makes a difference, not that it changes the quality of the steak; just your experience. I will definitely be coming back to Ireland's for special occasions as well as when I won't be paying ;) .

Lobster fries are to die for! The service was INCREDIBLE! Seriously, the best steakhouse you could find outside of a big city (since this is in the suburbs).

A little much for my taste. Steaks were good but they should be for 50 bucks for just the steak and no sides. My husband ordered the buffalo steak and was sick the whole night. I am giving it two stars because my steak was good and waiter was very nice! Otherwise I won't be returning even though I'm staying in the hotel lol.

Dined at Ireland's Steakhouse for the first time tonight and I have to say it was a 5 star experience. Not only was the atmosphere, service, & presentation all top-notch, but the food was as good as I've ever eaten at a fine steakhouse. I've been to all of the traditional powerhouses over the years, but the food was incredible. We started with the sautéed shrimp appetizer and it was phenomenal. What set the meal apart though were the steaks. My wife had a 13oz bone-in filet & I had the 22oz bone-in ribeye. Both were not only cooked to perfection but flavorful beyond expectations. The entire meal was just fantastic & I have to say this steakhouse should be mentioned at the tops for any Broward County diners.

This place is awesome. I've been going for years and me and my wife liked it so much we had our wedding reception there. The menu has changed a little throughout the years, but the quality has always been top notch. The staff is excellent and most of them have been working there for years (good sign in my opinion). I just joined yelp and this is one of the 1st reviews I write. As I began to write it I realized that it's been a while since we've been there, so I made reservations for later tonight.

Its only fair to give this an updated review after last nights very UNDERWHELMING experience. 8 of us head to dinner after a round of golf and aside from a small reception they are having in the front of the restaurant we are the only ones in the place so you would expect stellar service and perfectly cooked meals. UNFORTUNATELY THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. Jorge / George our waiter's English was first off barely on the passable level. Once we had to listen to the specials multiple times as nobody could understand him off we went. The food was again better than average and in some cases excellent but unfortunately the following service items make this place an ULTIMATE FAILURE. 4 Steaks completely Cooked improperly all over cooked and without the Charred / Pittsburgh we all requested. Taking them back to Char them only overcooked them more at $50.00 a steak ala carte under no circumstances can this ever happen 1 Steak was totally incorrect not even the correct cut of Meat.. when they brought out the NY it was rushed and RAW which then had to be sent back then it came back overcooked... Forgot out Lobster Mac & Cheese until almost the meal was over Forgot the Lobster Entree until 75% of the meals were consumed. Try to make us happy with free Desert again you know what at $50.00 a steak keep your deserts. With these price points and almost no excuse with the place empty either get someone to speak English and get the orders done correctly or close the doors. $1010.00 Later We will NOT BE EVER COMING BACK HERE... EPIC FAILURE!

I was part of a business trip of about 35 people and Ireland's was the place we decided to have our kick-off dinner at. Service: Definitely attentive but a little pushy. Once I woke to a manager (Rory) and let him know that we wanted to mingle a little before sitting down, it got better. I also think the waiters may have been bringing drinks that weren't requested thinking they'd be lost on the bill, but I can't prove it. Food: DELICIOUS. We put together a pre-fixed menu to make choosing easier. I had the filet-cooked to perfection. I heard that the yellow snapper dish was also delectable. We had a vegetarian in our party and the kitchen/staff happily accommodated her needs. The sides were served family style: sautéed spinach, Mac n cheese, and potatoes au gratin. All delicious! Atmosphere: We had a room all to ourselves which was separate from the rest of the restaurant and it was very lovely. While standing at the bar, I did notice that some tables were kind of on top of each other.

Delicious cuts of meat (we had bison and lamb), huge side orders, and a wonderful bread plate to start with. Customer service was superb. Can't wait to go back again.

My wife and I went here for a special dinner...and we had a great time. Be advised...with drinks, apps, dinner, sides, dessert, and a tip, this place will set you back a couple bills. And for us...it was worth it. The service was friendly and timed perfectly without being too familiar, the food was fantastic (I had the special...14oz Wagyu filet - awesome), the extra touches were nice (different types of butter, bread, salt, steak knives, etc); everything you would expect in a high-end steakhouse. We even liked the ambience...just the right amount of noise to give the place some energy but not too much to hinder conversation.

OMG!!!! I have not left a restaurant so absolutely stuffed in a long time. So much for New Year's resolutions to eat healthy and eat less carbs! How can one deny oneself that with a scrumptious bread basket and lobster fries staring you in the face? Maybe we should not have gotten married right after New Year' so as not to have the temptation of opulent anniversary dinners at the beginning of January! First, that bread basket. Lavash, potato bread, & a third type with three types of butter, the best being the honey butter. We shared 2 perfectly seared scallops; tender with a touch of salt and sautéed onions and peppers. Speaking of salt, there are four types of salt to choose from on the table. We also shared a Caesar Salad. Granted, it's hard to distinguish a Caesar, but this had to be the best I have had in some time. I guess what distinguished it was the two types of absolutely delicious cheese on top (and it was not overdressed). For mains, husband truly enjoyed the bone-in filet mignon. Not being a huge meat eater, I got the yellow tail snapper. It was prepared over an Asian style slaw. It was absolute perfection and a much more complex and delicious fish dish than I am used to receiving at other premium steak houses. Unfortunately, most of it went home with me as I was so full from everything else. The sautéed spinach, made with pine nuts & golden raisins, the only dish that somewhat underwhelmed me, also came home with me. One side, however, that I could not keep my hands from picking at was the lobster fries: tasty fries smothered with a lobster bisque and chunks of lobster.....really decadent, different, and delish!!!! We were delighted with a special anniversary tray filled with mini desserts: 3 types of crime brûlée(orange, pear, vanilla), cheesecake, chocolate mouse, fresh berries, macaroons. All were good but none overwhelmed me either. Then again, I am not a fancy dessert person so maybe I am not the best judge in that department. Give me some ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie and I am happy! The factors that distinguish Ireland's from some other premium steak houses are 1) Ambiance - it is so quiet and relaxing there. Once inside, you would never know you were inside a Hyatt. 2) Service, which is impeccable! You can tell the entire wait staff really cares that you receive a high class but friendly experience. Our waiter, Doug, was awesome! He was so knowledgeable about everything from the menu to the wine list and he was very patient. Definitely a special occasion or expense account place, but so worth it!!!!

Tonight we went to Ireland's in Weston. It's a little out of the way but we'll worth the trip. Valet parking on a rainy day was a plus (get it validated for free by the restaurant). We ordered some wine, a moscato for me because I like very sweet wines and a nice Riesling for my wife (which Doug suggested). Our meal started with delicious scallops (highly recommended by our waiter, Doug). They were perfectly cooked, tons of flavor and served with peppers & onions. We then moved on to an excellent Caesar salad which had the right amount of cheeses & dressing. My wife & I shared it and we really enjoyed it. My entree was the 13oz Bone-in Filet Minion cooked medium rare...WOW! The flavor was excellent, it was cooked perfectly and it was a very nice sized cut. We also ordered the Lobster Fries which had mounds of lobster & lobster bisque. All of the food was amazing! One thing I want to point out is the service that we received from our waiter, Doug. He was excellent, always keeping an eye on our table, drinks, making suggestions and very friendly. We loved the table that we were given, we'll lit & very quiet. This was a great way to celebrate our 12th anniversary.

Ok I'll admit it. I'm an absolute steak snob. I can grill such a mean churrasco at home that it absolutely pains me to pay $40+ on a steak when I can go to an Argentine butcher, buy a huge entrana strip for $20 and feed 3 with a better tasting dinner. Don't get me wrong, I still go to steakhouses pretty frequently but I just haven't found many that are worth the price. After going to Ireland's I can definitely add this place to the short list of good steakhouses. I have a friend that kept on insisting that I try Ireland's. He goes there frequently and they know him well. I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. The location in the Bonaventure is just ok. The hotel is a little dated and is a bit sleepy for my taste. The restaurant while although packed seemed a bit old fashioned as well. The service was indeed exceptional, with the server referring to me by name from our reservation. I found him and his assistant to be extremely attentive and friendly. I was a bit disappointed though as they did not acknowledge our anniversary even though I mentioned it in the reservation. The food here is GREAT. We started with the Diver scallops which were interestingly presented sizzling on a hot skillet. I immediately took all the scallops off the skillet so they wouldn't overcook. The portion size is not big, but they were absolutely delicious. For mains we had the bone-in ribeye and the Halibut and shared a side of Lobster Mac. My steak came out absolutely perfectly cooked medium rare with a nice crust on the outside and red on the inside. I did appreciate that the server asked me to cut it in front of him to make sure the temperature was right. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The rib-eye was huge and I was able to take some home. The halibut was very good but as it is a "meaty" fish, again we were unable to finish and had leftovers. The lobster mac was pretty good, but I wasn't awestruck by it. Perhaps I'll try the truffle mac next time. Overall, it was a great experience here. I will definitely come again given the proximity to my house. There isn't much in terms of ambiance here (hey it's in Weston), but the food and service are great.

Noisy place but good steaks slightly over cooked the bone in sirloin and the wagyu steak, filet cooked perfectly. lobster mac creamed spinach good. A little short on the caprese salad 2 slices of mozzarella and tomatoes and some leaves. Can't have a quiet conversation. I like capital grille better service a little slow waiter was a little hard to understand.

A nice restaurant tucked away inside the resort. The meals are pricy but you get the quality you pay for. Our server, Doug was attentive but unobtrusive and his recommendations were spot on. All three entrées were excellent. If you want a great meal and aren't on a budget then this is the place for you.

LOVE!!!!! Did I really have this place 15 minutes from my house all this time and had no idea? YUP! Now I have a lot of time to make up for. We spent New Years eve at the hotel and made reservations to dine here. A friend (Rebecca A. fellow Eliter) told me this would be right down my alley. SHE WAS RIGHT! We had the option of choosing a la carte or their New Years Tasting Menu (BINGO!). This was it: (and my made up ***** system per) Osetra Caviar- buckwheat blini's. **** Fennel Dusted Scallops- hearts of palm, Maytag bleu cheese (I substituted for goat) and lemon Dijon dressing **** Brazilian Salad- Avocado, hearts of palm, orange segments, Brazil nuts, passion fruit mango dressing ***** Beef Wellington Surf & Turf - 5 oz petite filet, foie gras, shitake mushrooms & cippolini onions wrapped in puff pastry with a 6oz butter poached lobster tail served with vanilla butter. SERIOUSLY??????????********** (10 stars in a 5 star system) Trio of sides: sauteed spinach ***, truffle Mac N Cheese ***** and roasted mashed potatoes **** Desserts: Chocolate Budini with fresh berries & creme anglaise ***** or New York cheesecake with amaretto berries ***** For starters they brought out their bread basket with specialty salts and butters.Yes, plural. Our favorite was the pretzel bread and mustard butter. INSANELY DELICIOUS. Service was fantastic and it was just unexpected all around awesomeness! Although nestled in an average 3 star hotel, they are a top notch act up to par with other self standing highly touted restaurants in the entire U.S! I wish they would have done a little more to acknowledge it was New Years Eve. We all gathered around someones I-phone for the countdown. But, not reviewing that. Just reviewing our restaurant experience and food. I cannot wait to return!

Outstanding food! The steaks were, dare I say, almost as great as The Capital Grille's. The service was excellent as well. The only reason I am not giving it a 5, is because while the ambiance was nice, the seating so close to other tables that it took away from the experience. Next time I will request a table that is not against the wall. I noticed another reviewer said that the menu did not have prices. That was not the case when I visited.

I read all these great reviews, I feel left out, what did I miss, I wasn't in a bad mood, I wanted to be like all the other Yelpers and give them five stars. Maybe I had to high expectation since everyone else is in love with this place, and I most certainly am not. Firstly, service was great, we had a wonderful waitress, so no blame there. So the reason largely breaks down to the "Wedge Salad" I ordered and the ambiance. The Ambiance; This is a strange place to find a Hyatt Resort, it surrounded by apartment buildings and strip malls. Not like the Hyatt in Molokai, it would be like a Hilton in Hialeah, I can't figure the connection, so it's a receding area. When we walked into the Hyatt, there was an astringent gymnasium smell to it. it smelled like an old persons closet. When you walk to the Ireland's Steakhouse, you have to walk through the Hyatt's Breakfast Restaurant. who does that. The Ireland's Restaurant: The bad ambiance continued, why their just like every other Steakhouse around town, dark, bad carpet, uneventful. There are other restaurants that stick out, such as Red, The Edge, The Betsy, Prime 112, and even Smith and Wollenski have a more inviting feel. I don't even like all of them, but they are inviting. I realize that Hyatt's sub par location, bad smelling cleaning fluids, didn't help, but this place has five stars by virtually everyone, except me. I don't necessarily want to eat in a dark and dreary place. It's far from a cave, but I'd like stand out. I want this old place vamped up, if it is actually old? The Food: Well I hat one hit and two misses. That's kind of the clincher. I ordered the Wedge Salad, a Petit Buffalo Filet, and I shared an unusual order of mashed potatoes with Au Gratin on top (sounds like no big deal, but apparently it was). Firstly the Wedge Salad was beautifully plated, but it had one draw back, the lettuce was warm. I don't know I like my salads cold, they didn't get this head out of the refrigerator, The mashed potatoes, well it seems that my friend has a picky tastes, he asked the waitress instead of au gratin potatoes could he have mashed potatoes with the au gratin on top. She was amenable to it, but apparently it couldn't be done. Well my feelings are for the $245.00 I just spent for two, it can be done. Well, we were served a nice dish of au gratin mashed potatoes, both were happy, but it was a headache to ask. The Steak: Like I said I ordered the Buffalo Petit Filet Mignon, It was excellent, flavorful and cooked perfectly, I understand the Yelpers review on the steak alone. My friend he ordered the Bone in Rib Eye, he too thought it was excellent. But, I'm not judging Ireland's Steak House by steak alone. Ambiance, eeeehhhhh, the smell of the restaurant eeeeehhhhh smell's, the location of the restaurant isn't bad if it were a restaurant by it's self, but for the money, I'd rather see views of something other then strip mall's and apartments. The Hyatt years back before the expansion of Broward musta been the bees knees, now eeeeehhhhh not so much. Maybe it was the luke warm lettuce that set me off, or maybe the lysol.

If this was a review of a regular restaurant it would be a solid 4 maybe a five because the food was excellent but when you spend $200 on a dinner for two it goes another category for me. So in comparison of Capital Grille, Flemings, Smith and Wollenskys, Ruth's Chris ect. It only earns 3 stars from me. We get there and it is practically empty. One server tells us about the different breads and butter they offer which was quite interesting. I liked the pretzel bread and mustard butter. Next we waited a good 10 min before I asked if someone was going to take our drink order as I guess there was some confusion.. So we finally get our waiter and he tells us the specials. I get the American Wagyu and my wife gets the filet, sides where potatoes au gratin and creamed corn.. I ordered my steak medium rare and my wife medium ( it has taken me 3 years to get her down from medium well ;) ) anyways I get my steak and it's medium well and hers is medium rare. I tell the waiter and he says mine is yes that's medium rare! Wtf and so I ask the manager he comes over and says that it is definitely well and insist to remake mine and heat up my wife's. I was going to eat it anyways but the more I ate the more I knew it was overcooked.. They brought me out a new steak and and it was very good.. To be honest it was a really good steak and the sides were great but all in all it is not the best I have ever had and the few glitches made it a 3 for me... If I'm dropping 200 on dinner I might go to Capital Grille or Ruth's Chris...

Returned in 2014. Had a reservation. When arriving, we asked for the upper level, but the hostess advised against it since a party of 12 were due shortly. We were then seated a a table for two next to the server station, while there were plenty of tables for two on the upper level which were filled after we were seated. Our server ,Doug, and helper, Julian, were both professional and attentive. However, our meal was only average. We started by sharing a Caesar Salad which was very good. We both had a Filet Mignon which we felt were over spiced- very salty and peppery- and dry. The meat was cooked correctly, but not overly flavorful. They have a family style serving for sides. We ordered the sautéed mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. The servings were very large. The mushrooms were terrible. They had no flavor and were soggy. The potatoes were average, but somewhat gummy. The key lime pie desert was excellent. The resort was recently changed from a Hyatt to a private ownership group. Not sure if this affected the restaurant, but our experience was no way as greasy as our previous meal. Oh, the part of 12 did not show while we were there and the noise level was still high.

Ireland's is a perfect example of a fine restaurant not understanding what would make its customers want to return. My wife and I have lived in Weston for years, but had never been to Ireland's. Most people we know said it was "expensive, but worth it". We finally decided to give it a try for our wedding anniversary: I made our reservation and when asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, I said that we were. Upon arriving that evening, we were greeted graciously by the hostess, but our waiter was another story. First of all, he effusively greeted me and took my order, then said "And what will your GUEST be having?" I thought that was odd, since our reservation was under "Mr. And Mrs. W" and he had already been told by the hostess that it was our wedding anniversary, but we chalked it up to a strange comment and left it at that. We enjoyed the food and our evening. Even though we had previously thought it was a restaurant best saved for special occasions, we liked the food so much we decided to add it into our date-night repertoire. We started going regularly on Friday nights and the manager and staff recognized and greeted me as soon as we walked in. But please note that I said "me". In what can only be described as an unusual turn of events, the waiters in this restaurant have repeatedly and coldly insulted my wife every time we have eaten here. Last Friday night was the last straw and a great example of what has happened every time we go. After we were seated, our first waiter greeted me loudly with "So nice to see you again, Mr. W!" As he walked away and my wife and I just sat there looking at each other, he turned back and said "Oh yeah, and you too." Then our main waiter walked up and took MY drink order. Not only did he take my order first, he walked away to the bar to get my drink without asking my wife what she would like to drink. When he returned with my drink, I said "My wife would also like to order" and he looked annoyed instead of in the least embarrassed. To make a long story short, much of the same happened with our food order (he catered to me and "forgot" part of my wife's dinner). This was far from the first time this has happened. We actually chose to go there for my wife's BIRTHDAY last month and they treated her like an afterthought and me like the king of the restaurant. Several times I have wanted to say something, but my wife stopped me out of embarrassment. She is quiet and didn't want to draw attention to herself, but their odd behavior has finally made us decide never to go back. It's a shame, since we loved the food and the convenience of not having to drive to Las Olas, but there are other restaurants in Weston that don't treat my wife like a second class citizen on our date nights. Note to Management: it's painfully obvious that your male waiters prefer "males". However, that shouldn't be made quite so obvious to married couples dining there and trying to enjoy a pleasant evening.

Went here last night and the staff was very friendly and explained the different types of items to us like the 4 types of butter for the breads. We both ordeed from the specials they had that were not on the menu I had a special type of New York strip steak and my wife had the surf and turf we also ordered a side of garlic mashed patatoes everything is al a carte the sides are enough for 2or 3. Before our food came the waiter came over with a box of 4 different steak knives and explained them to us and than had us pick one which was interesting and different. The food we had was cooked perfect and very tender so overall a very good experience but be warned its not cheap but well worth it would definately go back.

A Groupon was offered for Ireland's, so I went to Yelp and read the reviews. The reviews were very positive. Since we were going to spend 2 weeks in Weston, I bought the Groupon. Not only did the reviews live up to my expectations, I will even rate it higher. The filet was probably the best I've ever eaten. My whole party was impressed. We give Ireland's a 5.

Great food, excellent ambiance, terrible service. I have been here before and assume that I just caught the bad waiter. I hosted a large group; the check was nearly $1k with automatic gratuity. The food was worth it but I was upset that I was obliged to give this guy 18% which he did not deserve. My waiter disappeared once the check was delivered. I had to go to the bar to pay my check. Several in my party wanted to take home some of their steak leftovers. They ended up with someone else's tiny burnt remains. This was a MAJOR disappointment. Not sure I will be back.

Never again! Tried to make a reservation in person and was told sorry, we are very very full tonight, nothing until 8:30. Since we were staying at the Bonaventure Resort we wanted to stay on the property. Went back to the restaurant at 7:00pm were told the same very very busy nothing until 8:45, we sat at the bar and had dinner there while 8 tables stayed empty from 7:00 - 8:20 when we left, no lines outside waiting to get in. Very bad experience! Never again!

My wife and I recently relocated from Texas and decided to give Irelands a try since it had great reviews. Initially, the small size of the restaurant and the fact that it's basically a section of the larger hotel restaurant, enclosed to form a higher level of dining may put you off. The level of service and food selection will make up for that. My wife had the bison filet on the waiter's recommendation and it was FANTASTIC. The service was the best that I have had in a very long time and they took great strides to make it feel personal. The only issue to mention is that only one cut of steak was prime with the others being choice. At this level I would have expected all prime cuts. The lobster mac and cheese is great!!
