This location is new in Wellington (opened Feb 2011). While the food is great and the atmosphere is terrific, the staff is not yet well trained. Here two good examples: Ordered 'To Go' by phone and picked up 1/2 hour later. When got home one entree was missing and had to return to restaurant to obtain. Manager did comp a desert for the trouble. Second example: Called to ask if small dogs allowed on outside patio and greeter said yes (confirmed twice). When arrived at restaurant manager wouldn't allow stating 'health department concerns' Other restaurants in immediate area including Olive Garden and Joes American also at Wellington Green welcome dogs on their patios. Bonefish Macs either doesn't allow as matter of policy or insurance but clearly not health department (or others wouldn't allow either). Unfortunately the staff inconsistent at Bonefish. Hopefully they can fix this.

This place has excellent food and has super drink specials! Ask for Sara as your server!

Not impressed. Everyone raved about this place. After our meal, we got our bill, think we could of ate better for that price. Food wasn't that great.

This is just ok. Not as good as you would expect. Big portions but not all that great of food.... Bummer! Huge wait to get in though!

My wife loves this placy but everytime I go its just okay. I think the issue with this place is the Managers. I have never meet a manager and I have been here about a half dozen times. The service is a little slow but I think that is because they are a little unorganized. I will go back but I always tell the hostess that I need a good table and a good server. I don't want to take a chance with a bad one. Also, don't get a table in the back. Its a party room and you will get lost in the noise.

If you like a fun sports bar, this is the place. Friendly servers, great local crowd and CHEAP drinks. Happy hour all day long, decent food, exciting place to watch a game. Outside, of course, never been inside.

I had a lot of fun at this place. They seem to have all the bases covered for an size party. With an arcade for the kids, a outside bar for the loud sports fans , tables and inside bar for and evening out , and fun rocker tables for that wacky date night couple. The food is really very good. I didn't get to try any of there large sea food selection but I did try the knuckle sandwich which was very tasty. I'm a sucker for specialty burgers. The bars are pretty well stoked. While I was waiting for our table, I bellied up to the inside bar (very nice) and had a fairly decent old fashioned. A drink that has , in my experience, been almost impossible find done any justice. I had a good time here and I will probably return in the future.

My in laws took us here because my mother in law found out I like coconut shrimp. She LOVES their coconut shrimp here. The portions are pretty big, so I asked my mother in law to split an entree with me and it was the perfect serving. Because out entree came with 8 shrimp, mash potatoes and a side of vegetable (we opted for asparagus). For those you enjoy coconut shrimp, you have to try it here. It reminds me of the coconut shrimp from Tommy Bahama Island Grille in Newport Beach. The mash potatoes are pretty addictive! They do not take reservations here , they put your name on a list and give you a pager. My father in law would never have waited in the past, but I think he knew my mother in law wanted to show me their coconut shrimp so my husband and his father didn't make a big fuss.

Only if the food was as good as the service and the environment of the place. The food is very plain, lacks flavor, other than that, it is a beautiful place.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Great portions. My favorite appetizers are the Fiji Fire Shrimp(sooo delicious) and the shrimp eggrolls....depending on what you purchase it could be a bit pricey...but well worth it!!!! Try it, you'll LOVE it!!!!!!

My husbands favorite night is on Wednesday evenings when they have a Louisiana pie tin boil. Has corn on the cob, red potatoes, hush puppies, shrimp and crab legs for $13.99! From 5-9....It's usually quite busy. Monday night prime rib is another busy night. Prime rib is awesome at just $11.95! Really tasty French onion soup too! We can always find something on their extensive menu. Everything is great. Service has always been quick. Still loving this place!

My husband and I went here for the first time last night. The menu was WAY to lengthy. I thought it was bonefish grill but after asking about the bang bang shrimp and getting the head tilt and weird look I realized otherwise. I went craving a fish sandwhich. We started with conch fritters which were decent then I got the fish and chips because the fish sandwich I wanted on menu said "gigantic", "a handful to hold", and hubby got cheese steak. We also tried the onion strings. We normally don't eat like this but wanted to try all the junk food that was popular. Onion strings were so salty we sent them back, cheese steak was mutilated and dry with no flavor. My fish and chips were ok. The batter was ungodly salty. My fries were different from his, only showing me how much food they must have to order again with their menu being an encyclopedia. Cole slaw was good drinks were good. Other than that a little vomiting helped me go on with my night.

Love the food and service here every time I come. I do recommend that they start taking reservations since they are becoming more popular.

This place is fantastic. They have a large covered outdoor bar and table area or you can eat inside which also has a bar. The menu is huge so whatever you are in the mood for is probably available. The portions are huge and I have yet to have a bad meal.

My parents rave about this place- apparently they have a awesome crab legs that my dad loves. They have a very extensive menu, from seafood, to hotdogs, burgers, wraps/subs & pastas, so you can probably find anything you have a hankering for. I find that restaurants that have such a wide variety of offerings have a hard time making it all great. I got a salad (lame) but I was disappointed because it was all iceberg lettuce and, for the price, I felt like it should have been at least a mixed green salad, but everyone I was with seemed to enjoy their meals. The service was pretty good- we were seated outside quickly, and the waitress was attentive. The outside bar and patio is a great place for an afternoon drink and not a bad place to sit and enjoy the South Florida weather.

This is my mine and my husbands weekly lunch spot. You can get an aloha salad which has macadamia nuts, strawberries and kiwis and add chicken or salmon on top (Served with raspberry vinaigrette I get on the side. I have also gotten the Turkey burger, chicken something wrap etc. You can get their french fries or macaroni/ potato salad, cole slaw or fresh fruit cup on the side. My husband gets either a hamburger, wings, maui wrap etc. We have tried a lot of their food. You do not have to get greasy food as I see others talk about. Their Cobb salad is enough for 2. Their french fries are dubbed "Crack fries" because they are so good. They are french fries, they are fried. They will be greasy. I have never went when it was not happy hour (usually go Saturday or Sunday between 12 noon and 3pm) their well drinks are $2.50 can't beat that. We usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are super nice and friendly. I can not think of a single bad thing about this place.

After reading the reviews, I was confident I would not like Bonefish Mac's. I was very pleasantly surprised that not only was it not terrible, but I liked it. They have a pretty extensive menu, centered on seafood, but there is something for everyone. We stopped by on Friday nights, and waited for a seat both times, but not longer than twenty minutes. If you are budget conscious, they don't seem to really run many great specials like Flanigan's, just an FYI. I tried their fish and chips and really liked them. My husband tried the jerk jambalaya bowl, which we both loved. The rice was cooked perfectly and the wings had a really good heat to them. He also tried a seafood pasta which we also loved. The food was much better than I thought it would it be. The service was top notch. Extremely friendly and pleasant, and even though they were packed, we didn't wait long for anything. Although we haven't sat there yet, the outdoorish bar looks great. Not as awesome as Bokampers or Bru's Room, but good for where it is. A nice place to have a drink after work or watch a game. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Bonefish Mac's.

When in town I usually eat lunch there at least once a week. The food has always been delicious and the service outstanding. I have been there for a late supper a few times, but the noise level out on the covered patio was a bit high for my taste. I wouldn't recommend the patio for seniors like myself. But the young people always seem to be having a ball out there. So I always opt for the much quieter indoor dining. LOL If you get to go, I would recommend their bacon cheese burger and their macaroni and cheese. They also serve some great steak fries too.

We didn't wait long, and the service and food were very good! I had the catch of the day, mahi mahi, topped with lump crab, bernaise and asparagus. It was very fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband had the Cajun pasta with chicken. He said he'd order it again. We will return to this restaurant.

The food is so unpredictable at this place. They have a great mac and cheese and it is extremely kid friendly (the kids food is probably the best around). They have a taco Salad that is always good, but the sandwiches and other main courses, are questionable depending on who is cooking. The bar area is great, and perfect to watch a game or catch up with friends. The wait staff is awesome, but sometimes slow. I'll go back to catch a game or on kids eat free nights!

The old Fuddruckers of Wellington has a new gem: Bonefish Mac's. It has a laid back atmosphere and there is an option to sit outside or inside whatever your preference is. The bacon cheese dog was good, but I was disappointed that it wasn't as moist as the ones I had at Sonic. It was a huge size and the fries were ok. It was nice to enjoy the lunch and have it covered on the patio while it poured outside. Margaritaville doesn't come close, but it'll do for a weekday lunch.

Key West atmosphere. THE BEST PRIME RIB! Great price for the size. We thought they gave us the wrong size ...but they got the order right. Came back again, and just as good.

Holy cr@p0l@, the "Jerk Wings!" are hotttttttttt! I mean really, really hot. Our waitress, Larissa, was awesome. She was very attentive and made sure that our water cups were always full. Good thing! It was wifey's birthday, so we came here with a party of six. It was a Monday and it was about a 20-25 minute wait. Not too bad. We ended up inside where they have this beautiful fish tank with this mystical sea urchin in it. I personally never saw it move more than a couple of millimeters, but every time I walked by the tank, that little spiky turd had moved to a whole new location. I really wanted to see him move, but he just wouldn't move for me. Back to the food... _I_ ordered the Jerk Wings. I must stress the "I". As in "me". I was blamed for the fiery damnation that ensued at least... These things were HOT! I love spicy food and they were at the very limit of what I could tolerate. The wifey managed to get some wing juice in her eye, which had her crying, the kids were running around in circles screaming that their lips were burning off. I loved 'em. For dinner, I tried to go light this time... I had the "Hail to Caesar Salad" topped with grilled dolphin (for you non-Floridians, no it is not "Flipper", it's a fish you might know as mahi-mahi... they call it dolphin in Florida). It's really hard to screw up a salad, and mine was fine, but the dolphin was cooked perfectly. My daughter got the same salad with grilled shrimp and hers was good as well. My son ordered "The Big Pig" which is a BBQ pork sandwich. He said it was good. I never saw it cause he's a fast eater. Wifey and mother-in-law had the "Sunken Treasure Trio" which they both enjoyed. The "catch-of-the-day" was dolphin, which I am guessing is the catch every day, but I don't have any proof, so you'll have to let me know if you experience differently. The rice was well seasoned and tasty and the shrimp were outstanding. The only complaint about the food (other than the plate of lava I've already talked about) was that the scallops were chopped up. That's just criminal. A good scallop should never been chopped up like fish bait and thrown in a sauce. The dish would have been better if they had presented the shrimp and scallops whole. The "asparagus in Bearnaise sauce" was also delicious. Mother-in-law notified the staff that it was Wifeys birthday, so they brought her a brownie sunday and sang a little tune for her. All-in-all, I would definitely go back. I have a feeling their fried seafood is outstanding, but I was trying to go a little healthier. Do NOT order the Jerk Chicken if there are any women and children present at the table.

Service was good, food is average, but very expensive for the type of place that it is. Noisy and casual but priced like a fine food establishment. If you have a coupon, go for it, if not share a meal. The lobster bisque was very good, but the Rueben was just average.

We made our first visit to Bonefish Mac's - Wellington for lunch today. We ordered the Full Belly Fish Sandwich, Lunch Menu Fish Sandwich and Fish & Chips substituting Onion Rings for the Chips. The perfectly deep fried fish was moist, thick, light and golden brown. Very large portions served hot. Just came out the deep fryer hot. The side of tartar sauce was perfect. The O Rings the same way. The buns for the sandwiches were fresh and of excellent quality. The sweet tea was very good. Service was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. She was given a well earned gratuity accordingly. Pricing for both the lunch menu and standard is very reasonable. The ambiance is fun and at a Friday 12:30 lunch time quiet and pleasant. The menu is extensive and no doubt all offerings are most likely equally as good as what we had. We will find out as we do plan on returning. No reason based on our experience to not rate as a 5 Star experience.

This place is cool, I wasn't to impressed with the food, but the outside bar and its cheap drinks, can be a great time. The staff is a fun group of people that like to joke around with you and help make your time there more enjoyable. Really a great place to go watch some sports games, maybe get some appetizers, drinks. Would definitely recommend for that.

I love Bonefish Macs in Pompano Hate Hate Bonefish Macs in Wellington Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad-Pompano beach amazing Wellington- soggy, salad had nothing in it Waitress- Excellent in PB not once did Devora come over to us after she took our order and served our food. Staff is nowhere to be found, not at front desk when we came in , just no where They should take the staff and manager from Pompano and give the staff and manager a lesson in Wellington

Attentive bartenders? We obviously were not at the same place. Once again a "sports bar" in Wellington with horrible service and management. I honestly believe the bartenders don't have any towels behind the bar or they just don't know how to use them. Every visit I've had to wipe the bar myself before sitting. It seems that they also spend more time washing glassware than attending to guests. As far as management, lacking isn't the word. Maybe invisible or absent is more like it. I'm guessing the young lady who spent most of the night on her phone was the manager on during my last visit. Outside bar, warm Florida night, you would think a fresh cold glass with each draft beer would be in order but no, they don't want to have wash anther one. At one point there were 22 customers and 1 bartender, I say customers but 1/2 of them were off duty employees. 2 Stars for the food and prices, negative 1 Star for service. Hope they get it right, I really do like the place. The Pompano store is much better.

We had been here about a year ago and hated it. Last night was a different story. We arrived around 7, the inside and outside were both busy but we were quickly seated. The waitress came up to great us right away and had a great knowledge of the beers on tap. The service stayed excellent all night. I ordered the mahi wrap, it was amazing! It was just a bit spicy, but still very good. There were numerous TV's on and music playing, but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Overall, this was a great experience.

We took our grandsons for a birthday lunch this past weekend. We were pleased they selected this place because we have frequently gone to the Lighthouse Point location. I guess the easiest way to put it is we were not as satisfied at this location for several reasons: The service was slow. In fact, we were seated close to five minutes before we even saw a waitress. Then she did not really show a strong interest in us throughout our time there. The food was average. My wife had a hamburger. The boys had a pizza and I had potato chips that were not cooked well and had too much "stuff" on them. Yes, we will go back because the boys like the place and we enjoyed the other location too much to simply rule this place out.

I don't have much to say for Bonefish Mac's, other than I was duped. I check into the hotel behind Bonefish Mac's and my co-worker calls to say "Meet me at the Bonefish in the parking lot for dinner at 6!" Me, "Sure!" So, I saunter out of the door to find BONEFISH MAC'S. What?! I thought Bonefish was a seafood chain?? Turns out it's a Jimmy Buffet-wannabe paradise. We sat in the bar/patio area and were waited on by a lovely little waitress who was pleasant and kind. The service was the highlight. Food was very "average," mainly fried or smothered in some creamy sauce. Drink menu was limited to either domestic bottles or hard liquor from the bar. I guess I shouldn't expect much after walking in and viewing the island decor, but it did our hungry stomachs justice in a time of need.

I have been going to "Bone" with friends for a few years now. It's a great place to let loose, enjoy a great night and feel comfortable. It's by far the best place in town to go watch a football game and even a soccer game for you soccer loving fools! (I like soccer too!)The food is great (key west shrimp boat, Fiji fire shrimp, buffalo chicken wrap, patty melt, and can't forget the bourbon salmon!) Beer is always cold and the bartenders are awesome! When I say the bartenders are awesome I mean it....TK, Shawnee, Ashley, Caitlyn, Cat, Sarah and even Ben!! Love you all!

It's like a Bennigans mixed with a TGI Fridays minus the benefit of anything remotely ok on the menu. I went here for a short lunch with some people that lived close to here. It was one of the only places that was open, as it was a holiday weekend, and most of the shops in the area were closed. I wish we had gone to Panera instead. At least then I wouldn't have left feeling like I just swallowed a bucket of grease, then again, my fault for eating it. I arrived here after everyone else and the waitress was no where to be seen (which seems to be a common occurrence for me anyway). She cam and forgot to ask me what I wanted to drink. I ordered a veggie quesadilla, someone else got the chopped salad, another person the veggie burger. The veggie burger was made up of 2 morningstar burgers stacked on a bun surrounded by a sea of frozen french fries. The kind that taste like they took the Pringles recipe and spit them out of a machine, then cooked them a little bit. The chopped salad was topped with little fries as well. But the kind that come in the snack packs. When I say topped, I mean they spread a cup of it over the salad after they put the salad in a plastic bowl. Classy. My quesadilla? I'm thinking they just poured a bottle of veggie oil onto a grill and fried my meal on it. I got through one slice and was done. Service was sub-par, food was gross. Return rate is about -50%

We had a large group of people for happy hour, maybe around 20- 25 people. Kayla was our waitress and she was on top of everything!!!!! I was very impressed because most times when you have a big party, the service isn't the best but she was awesome!!! Every time someone new showed up she was on top of getting them drinks, and bringing them quick!!! Food was good and service was great!!! Thanks Kayla!!!!

My husband LOVES this place. The nachos are huge!! Pretty much everything is on the larger side, which is great for him because he loves leftovers. As for me, it's okay. It's sort of like a chain restaurant - and I can't give it any more than 3 stars. My favorite part is the outdoors seating because it makes you feel like you're not out in the Western Communities, more like you're close to a beach. My kids love the game room. The last time I was there, I had a caesar salad and french onion soup. The salad was okay, nothing better than I make at home, and the soup was okay. It's local, it's fairly inexpensive, my family enjoys it, so I'll be back.

Absolutely the best seafood choices as well as an extended menu with "landlubber" food choices. Customer service is always great - food comes quickly and is always plentiful and perfect. We have taken friends to experience Bonefish Mac's and their comments are mutual.

The food is so good here - but I can't give it 5 stars because they took my favorite thing off the menu ( Coconut crusted shrimp salad.). The service is great and the beer is cold. Extensive menu. You won't be disappointed here!

I always come here with my coworker on my day off. I always order the snow crab cluster and I absolutely love it! It always comes out warm. The only down side of this place is the fact that the servers sometimes take forever to refill your drinks. But that doesn't stop me from giving them 5 stars!

Someone told us to go here and it was awesome! It was a little busy we had to wait but it was worth the wait. My wife and I got the lobster mac and cheese and the Fiji wraps, all the flavors just come together so well and the seafood was extremely fresh! Our waiter was so nice and helpful but we forgot her name, it was a shorter blonde girl though, we will be back soon!

Visiting Wellington from orlando. I use to live here and bonefish mac wasn't here before. A friend recommended it. We came on a Friday night, the outside section was packed full of people having a great night after week of work. We waited about 10 min. Was a little loud but lots of people and lots of TVs w sports on. Love music by Emily Brooke at 9pm she was great. Food was amazing had Greek salad with shrimp and shrimp and and steak fajitas. Both were awesome, not greasy. Food and drinks came faster than expected with the big crowd. Was great. So great we went back in Saturday. Watched FSU game. Wasn't as packed. Food was so good had almost same thing.... Fried shrimp was perfect best ever! Fajitas awesome as well. Will be back a third time soon.

Have been here twice and we are 2-0. Fun sports bar, we've sat in the patio area both times. The philly wrap was very tasty and quite the large portion. Nice flavorful pulled pork. Servers have been very attentive and friendly. We'll continue with additional visits here.

Yikes! I will start with the positives since I have few to say.... *Parking is a plenty *French fries are tasty *Hostess was very friendly Meh.... is exactly the word that comes to mind when I think of Bonefish Mac's Grille. While visiting a friend way out west we chose this restaurant because it was close to his house. Service was awful and the food could have been served at a nursing home since it lacked ANY flavor. I tried to be patient with our server since I'm assuming he was new but after waiting 20 minutes for a beer and our appetizer was already out I began to give up hope. Finally I had to ask another server to just bring out the water I had asked for in the beginning. What really put me over the edge was after we had waited forever to place our dinner order he took it, walked away, greeted a table of 6, took their entire order then had to put theirs in first because it came out way before ours and we were only a party of 3. We started with the Bonefish wrappers since our friend said he loved then. Blah! Hospital food has more flavor and spice then these do. My husband is a huge guy and was starving and he took one bite and PASSED which says a lot. For dinner I ordered the Mac's Chopped Salad. They could not even get that right. It should come with bacon and I got zero and one half of an egg. My hubs got the Spicy Cheeseburger Wrap and again blah! No flavor what so ever. Usually I will call a manager over or send something back if it does not come out as described but we were beyond fed up with the whole experience we just waited the 20 minutes to get the check and left. After our meal when the server was clearing the table common sense would be to ask if everything was alright since NO ONE touched their entrees but nope he just picked up the plates and went missing again. Awful experience.... No way I'd return
