I tend to choose this location over merritt island because it's closer to home and less people, less wait. We always receive good service and usually never have to wait for a seat. The food is good but there have been a few times when my steak was almost raw inside. That's a shame because they bring a whole plate, which is perfect second time around but at the cost of wasting all that food. Other than those slight mistakes I have always enjoyed my experience here.

Dinner was at Outback tonight. Service was good although their was a mixup on which server was responsible for our table. Food was good, but nothing special for a patron of Outback. It's Saturday night and there is not much of a crowd now..,9:30. Pm. I will come again but no rush!

The high point is that the service at this particular Outback is quite good, as is the bread. Everything else aspires to mediocrity. Don't bother to read the menu on line. The two things I had chosen were no longer being offered. Probably just as well, because if they had been served as overdone, dried out, and with as little taste as the chicken/rib combo I had, the disappointment would have been even worse. The steak that my dining companion ordered was previously frozen and must have been manually tenderized forever to make it edible. The portions are small. Lately, I've noticed that there is very little attention payed to food preparation at most restaurants. I'm not sure if this is due to hiring poorly qualified cooks, financial constraints, or lack of training and standards, but I'm tired of paying for bad, frozen, over/undercooked, poorly presented food. I'm also not sure if this is typical of all Outbacks or just this one. I just know a disappointing meal when I experience one. The manager went out of her way to visit the table and try to make things right. But after waiting 45 minutes for the food before the place got crowded, I was not into trying again. It's unfortunate that the staff had to apologize multiple times to multiple tables during the dinner service I witnessed. They will do whatever they can to mitigate the problems, but someone should just solve the problems and make things better for the patrons and the staff.

This is our Friday night date spot! The waitstaff and host staff largely know us. We've been going since before I got pregnant, through pregnancy and now with our 11 month old. Each week we are greeted with smiles and hellos from the staff. The service has always been great and the food is soooooo good. My steak comes out perfect about 75% of the time. The one time it was really off, I didn't even have to complain. The waiter told the manager and they comped my meal. THAT is great service.

I dont usually like to go to large chains but this location is very good. Bloomin onion, a must. Wedge salad, in my opinion, to die for. I really do enjoy the bone in ribeye here blackened cooked medium well. Chessecake with raspberry sauce for dessert, a classic and another must have. The service here is especially good with large groups, an A+

Wow I can't believe the lack of service from the bartender Eric. Upon seeing it took over 10 minutes to get recognized. It took another patron to get Eric's attention to serve us. Upon ordering for two only one salad came out and no one noticed until I flagged over the other bartender. Once I did I got my salad and even Michelle, managing director stopped over apologized and bought a round. But after that don't you the no Eric would have paid more attention, NO! He kept doing his side work and rarely checked on us. We had to ask for the check and asked for him to cash us out. WOW! I can't express the disappointment if service. Outback you should be disappointed too!

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants. However, we were in town for the Nationals spring training and realized that chain restaurants were WAY better in this area than the garbage solo restaurants. That being said, it's not like you'll be in for a star meal, it's a chain, let's get real. What I was HIGHLY impressed with was the manager. The manager? You say, why would I interact with the manager. Well, we ordered a fish platter and a steak. Both were severely under cooked. Let's go back, being as it is Florida and the majority of the population eats dinner at 3PM, nothing stays open late here and even if a restaurants hours say they are open to 10pm, their main crowd is long gone and when that happens naturally staff starts shutting down mentally. Which, I totally don't blame them for. Who wants to be busy as hell from 3pm-6pm then sit around with your thumb up your ass for 4 hours while customers slowly come in dragging your night to a seemingly never ending night from hell. So as we strolled in after work at 9PM or so I am sure the cook and staff were like "damnit why are these jerks walking in this late now we are never going to get the hell out of here!" I know I hated myself too. So, here we were, 9PM strolling into dead central Florida like a bunch of jerks ordering a full on appetizer, entrée and drinks! Shameless! Unsurprisingly our food was raw. I like sushi, I've done the beef Carpaccio thing, but a fish filet stuffed with crabmeat, raw, ummmm no thanks. Here's where I give this chain of Outback a large pat on the back and where restaurants can either nose dive into a slow death or rise like Phoenix from the ashes. Did you like that literary picture I just drew for you? The manager, of this particular Outback needs his photo on the wall; he needs an article in the local Melbourne Enquirer. When we told him our meal was still bleeding, he was SO apologetic. He took our plates back without question or attitude, offered us free appetizers, drinks, desserts, etc. We wanted nothing of the sorts, we weren't there for a hand out, but it's the offer that counts. He was super attentive the rest of the night and brought us out two new plates perfectly cooked. Lesson: you mess up, who cares, and it's the way you handle it that leaves a lasting impression. Thanks random dude at Outback, you totally get my vote for employee of the month!

My hubby and I (along with friends) frequent this Outback probably about 3 times per month. This particular Outback is chock-full of friendly servers/staff. They are efficient and the food is always consistently de-lish and cooked to order. We tend to stay quite a while and the staff has NEVER made us feel rushed . . . even during peak dinner hours.

Good dependable food with great service. I'd abstain from the mixed drinks due to over pricing, but compared to other local fair this is a frequent stop off for me when on a work trip to Melbourne.

I ordered the prime rib sandwich. It was awful. Tuff meat and stale bread. My wife got baby backs which were ok. Service was good.

Very sad. Once a month take-away. Never again. Everything was cold. Less than 10 minutes from store to home. Basic salad (lettuce only, as requested) wouldn't fill a Pyrex 1 cup bowl. World's smallest baked potato. Measured the same size as my package of cigarettes. No extra dressing as requested. For $50.00 I'll go elsewhere next time. I live on the road for a marketing company and eat in several Outback restaurants each month in different cities. This one, my home restaurant, will be the one that I skip from now on.

This outback location is fantastic. Always clean with great service. Live just around the corner and visit here frequently. Rarely have to send a steak back. We we're die hard Texas Roadhouse fans but the steaks at this outback keep us coming back regularly.

Okay, again I am not a huge fan of chain restaraunts in general and Outback Steakhouse in particular. I just think the food is over rated by most. I fond that food is usually much better at locally owned family operated eateries; however, there are always exceptions to this school of thought and one must find these establishments through trial and error, of course. That said, I was in receipt of yet another gift card for Outback and given the dismal experience I endoured recentally at the Palm Bay location, I reluctantly came here. Now, it was 6:30 on a Thursday evening and we were seated immediately which was a pleasant surprise since I did not call ahead. Our server was absoutelly awesome! She had the personality, the wit, and the rofessionalism to make her a superstar in customer service. I even asked her to come to work for me, I was that impressed. The food was typical for Outback. It was good just not excellent. For the prices, I guess it was a good value. Dinner for three with desert cost about $50 so, I cannot complain too much. I realize now that cost & quality are relative. Anyway, the server made this a very nice dining experience. The next time I decide to dine at an Outback, I'll come to this one and ask for the same server again. If you want an excellent steak, this isn't the place. Of you're looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, this place is for you. Good luck.

What is not to like about Outback Steakhouse? The food is always decent and the staff generally friendly. This particular experience at the Outback in Melbourne did not disappoint. We did get a chance to try the delicious scallops as well as the interesting chocolate waffle desert. I would suggest them both. One thing to note about Outback if you were not aware, is they use fresh squeezed fruit juice in their drinks. I hope you have fun and enjoy.
