Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

It's closed! Looks like remodel, but not open on Monday at 9am. Will update stars once it is open again.

4.5 stars really. My wife and I tried this place last week and we are glad we did! This place is fantastic! It's locally owned and the staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the décor is up-to-date (and not hideous). Some of the highlights are the coffee - one of the best cups I've had in a while; the quality of food and the portion sizes. I ordered the steak benedict (a spin on eggs benedict). It was amazing! I really loved the hollandaise sauce they make for this dish. In fact, The Brunchery has about 6-8 menu items that are spins on eggs benedict. I highly recommend the steak benedict though. Our young boys got the pancakes - they were homemade and in the shape of mickey mouse, which tells me two things: they make their food in-house, and they care about their customers to go the extra step and do that for children. Here's why it doesn't get 5 stars (and I fell bad, but that's life). While the wait staff was extremely nice and helpful, they were a little delayed in refilling coffee and getting condiments that we asked for. I shouldn't have to flag down a waitress for more coffee after 4-5 other waitresses walk by our table without noticing. Some may think this is petty, but it matters in customer service. They also didn't have a wide array of bagels at this place. I didn't really take any stars away for that, however, it was a bit disappointing to know that a variety of bagels weren't on the menu. All in all, this place is awesome and we'll soon be back. Having recently moved to Florida, we've been looking for a good breakfast place on an easy Saturday morning or on one of my mornings off - I think we've found it!

On a Saturday morning my family and I (total 3 people) got there at about 845.. there was 20 minute wait so we decided to stay. 30 minutes went by and people who came in after us got seates. A party of 10 walked in and were sat in 10 minutes. I checked to ensure our names were on the list. Yes. They were the there! ! After waiting 50 minutes and no response from a manager we left & will never go back. Young kids running a place is a horrific idea.

There's so many items on the menu that I want to try that I know I'll be coming back regularly. The last time I was here I has the Eggs Florentine and everything was cooked to perfection. I really appreciated the diversity in the sides that they offered (home fried, hash browns and tomato slices). They give you pretty big portions of food so you can always take some food home with you. :) If you plan on coming in with a larger party, you can always call ahead so they can reserve a table for you.

This is one of my favorite brunch places! Nutella crepes and huge grilled muffins make this place a sought after place to visit. It did not disappoint, that's for sure. I'm ready to try all the eccentric things on the menu in the future. They also seem to have quite a few lunch options. The price is fair. The service was excellent.

My buddy was in the area so we went to the Bruchery for brunch. I've been here before and have always enjoyed the food. I had the crepes, hash browns and cinnamon muffin. Everything was very good. My buddy had eggs, hash browns and grits. He liked everything. He makes very good grits himself and he was impressed with their grits. The server was very nice and the food was served quickly. My buddy wants to go back.

I had the best breakfast this morning...The place is fantastic and the service is impeccable...I would recommend this to anybody....the staff is very friendly and more than happy to help you....I wish there was more stars to add to this review....

The food is really very good but the service is so bad it makes you angry. I would have given it 5 stars for the food but the fact that it takes 15 min for someone to even greet you, another 20 minutes before someone takes your order and it's impossible to get drink refills, makes me wonder if 3 stars is too generous. It's also a good thing that our food came out as ordered because no one came back to ask us if we needed anything else. Also, no one came back to pay our bill so we went to the hostess and paid her. At least she was friendly. We could have forgave the hard chairs and crowded seating but not the service. We gave it two chances and now we will only be back if we have no other option. ...like for some reason Cracker Barrell shuts down and iHop stops serving pancakes.

This place is mediocre. Like others have said, the service can be slow and sometimes I sense attitude. I've tried both lunch and breakfast items and they've all been ok.

Have eaten here a number of times. Today was truly an unexpected pleasure. Even though busy, as usual, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food came out in the correct amount of wait-time and was wonderful. One can get eggs, hash browns, and sausage and/or bacon anywhere, but here, at The Brunchery, one can eat delectably. I had the seafood scrambled eggs. I had never heard of such a thing. There was a lot if crab meat, lobster and shrimp with the jack cheese and scrambled egg. It was wonderful! Highly recommended.

  • Rob D.

Usually love this place and would give the food 5 stars. The single star is for the absolutely terrible experience today. Just one thing after another. Suggest investing in staff that takes responsibility, management that takes control, and a check out system and person that are significantly more efficient than the set up we endured today.

Really enjoyed our trip to the brunchery. I had the meat omelet which was fantastic. It came with toast and hashbrowns. I ate this around ten and didn't need to eat anything until dinner. Everyone in my party really enjoyed what they got including my 2 year old who had a pancake. Service was good and it was a good value!

Wonderful and hearty portions. Everything is fresh and delicious! Courteous staff, and although sometimes crowded, well worth the wait. Come hungry!!

My husband and I had been to this restaurant many times before and have always enjoyed the food and service. Today was a whole other experience for us. For the first time in our lives, we decided to leave our server a 0 tip. Kevyn did nothing to deserve a tip and was rude to us on top of it. When we arrived, we were promptly seated and served coffee. The restaurant offers a weekday breakfast deal with two options for $5.50. We had never been here on a weekday and were unfamiliar with the rules. There was a display sign with the two meals and prices listed that was clipped at the bottom into the jam holder. Covered by the clip was the phrase "Please no substitutions." We did not see this note. When Kevyn appeared she simply said "Do you know what you want?" without a greeting or introduction (I had to ask another server what her name was). My husband asked if waffles could be substituted for the pancakes in the special since they are offered on the menu at the same price. Kevyn then stared at my husband like he was the biggest idiot she had ever met while shaking her head "no", slowly unclipped the display from the jam container, and gently set it down in front of my husband. Then she took a finger and pointed to the note "Please no substitutions." She didn't even say A WORD. My husband had to break the silence and say, "Oh, I didn't see that." Then she asked us if we needed more time to decide and I said sure. My husband and I couldn't believe how rude she behaved! After we ordered and our food came we never spoke with her again. We had other servers clear our table and sat waiting for our check until finally I asked another server to help us find our ticket (she then cashed us out, also). We sat and watched as Kevyn chatted and laughed with every other one of her tables, all regulars I presumed. She completely ignored us after our food came. She didn't even ask us if the food was satisfactory or etc. which is a wait staff cardinal rule. The food, as always, was delicious but the service from Kevyn was deplorable. She joked with a regular that she should find a new job and I would have to agree. --- Just found out that Kevyn Farley is THE FREAKING OWNER?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me? companyandreview.com/com… facebook.com/kevyn.farle…

The food is incredible and the servers are VERY busy but delightful! Don't be in a hurry, Bring a paper to read and catch up with a biker and a doctor while you wait for the best breakfast in Brandon/ Valrico/ Lithia area. Everybody complains 'till the food arrives!! Only reason it's not 5 stars was an extra long wait due to lost table (someone else got ours -bästardös!) Omelets, quiche, chic chip pancakes or waffles w assorted stuffings- yum!

  • Susan J.

Used to be really good. Now no mater what you order, it has the same old greasy taste like the griddle hasn't been cleaned in a decade.

What can I say...THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! !!! Big portions, fair prices and great service. We go here every weekend. .

We're in town visiting relatives and decided to give this place a try. I love that they have pumpkin coffee. The food was really good and the portions are pretty big. We'll definitely hit this place up again when we're in town.

  • Sasha A.

The most amazing omelets are served here! The service was a little slow but it was also a Sunday. The prices are great though for the size meal you get and just make sure to get there early because they close up at 2pm or so. Definitely a great brunch spot!

    (5)
  • Robert D.

Decent food at decent prices. Perhaps a bit greasy and some of the staff are a little curt. But all in all a fine place to spend a Saturday morning.

  • Kandace G.

One of our favorite places for breakfast. Very clean, cute homey decor, very clean restrooms. The menu is big enough to please anyone, and every day they have a long list of 'specials' on the blackboard that are not even on the menu, anything from eggs benedict, stuffed french toast, to delicious breakfast burritos and a very rich and yummy cream cheese seafood quiche. The service is okay, it can be a little slow to be greeted when they are busy, but as soon as your order is taken, the food comes out quickly. The servers are friendly and always helping each other out so your drink is never empty! you can get your muffin of the day grilled, im making myself hungry just thinking about this place!

If you are a 55+ female, sharing any of the 3 egg omelette is enough really! A tip for us northerners, the portions are larger than expected so try to to tamp down our tendency to over reach. Lol! There were 4 of us and we over ordered. For example, the strawberry waffles came with a pint of sliced fresh strawberries, I swear, no exaggeration! In MD this would mean 3-6 (at most) half ripe tasteless berries. In strawberry land FL it's an entirely different story. The omelets are humongous and stuffed full of whatever meat ordered. A side order of bacon is enough for 4 to share. LORDY! For coffee, I am a 1 cup a day, half decaf drinker. The 2 Starbucks multiple cups per day coffee drinkers said the coffee was weak. For me the coffee was strong. Hard to please all your customers all the time, if our table is representative of the general population. Give this place a try and plan to skip a meal that day is a good strategy.

YUM! incredible selection, almost over whelming. I had the Scramble with broccoli, bacon and brie. AMAZING! I'm super picky when it come to scrambled eggs, I want them soft. No where ever gets it and they NAILED it!!! I will be back for sure

  • Pauline B.

Talk about some damn good breakfast after a loooooong time. Everything on the menu looked amazing and they have a lot of choices (pretty much to fit everyone's breakfast needs) The place has a very cosy feeling inside. Service was great. I went on a Sunday so the wait time was over 30 minutes but well worth it. I cannot look at the wait as a downside because a place as good as this is going to be jam packed. Kudos to the cooks.

Best breakfast in the area. My grandson and I eat there once a week. He would like to see a large kids menu.

This place is a must try. Food is really good and I definitely recommend the Mexican Benedict. Cute lil ambiance too.

  • Tarria D.

Was a really nice place, service was friendly. I got the egg Florentine workout the bacon. Presentation was pretty and looked great. Was not bad, wouldn't order it again though. I would definitely return next time in the area.

I had the special today. Smoke salmon scramble. They add a lot of salmon. Little too much for me but still great! Not overly salty. I love how crispy the top layer of my hash brown was!!!

One of out favorite places for breakfast/brunch. Very extensive menu with everything from the expected to Quiche, Crepes, over 20 omelet choices, etc.

Have not walked out of a restaurant in a long time but we did today. We stopped at the Brunchery on our way to the Fishhawk Market this morning. My husband noticed thru the 2 way mirror that one of the servers was running her hands thru her hair and eating food off of the plate she was about to serve to someone. We advised our server why we were leaving BEFORE our food came. That just GROSS!

  • Jacquelyn G.

In Chicago, La Bamba has burritos "as big as your head." In Lithia, The Brunchery has omelets "as big as your head." Actually, they might be bigger (and I have a rather large head). And they are awesome. We went here when visiting family in the area, and I had one of these massive omelets. I forget the name, but it had spinach, cheese and bacon inside with hollandaise on top, served with equally incredible potatoes (with cheese, naturally). The omelet was very tasty and very rich, and way too much for me to eat in one sitting. Literally half of it went home with me and made for a nice leftover egg sandwich the next day. This place reminded me a lot of Le Peep, only better. They have the usual brunch suspects on the menu, plus quite a few specialties. Now I can see why it was such a destination for my family to treat us to!

  • Jodi M.

You won't be disappointed. I've know about this place since it opened, but since I don't like breakfast out I haven't tried it. My husband is a big breakfast fan so with the help of Yelp we went. He was really surprised and so was I. He had the breakfast croissant with grits and I had the spinach and bacon omelet with potatoes. The grits were perfect as was my omelet. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes because they were cut in large chunks. His sandwich was also very good. We will be back and look forward to trying other items on the menu. Since they also serve lunch I want to try their sandwiches and salads.

  • Dimitri B.

If you have the patience to wait 20 min for seating, this place has excellent food. Eggs Benedict are great as well as many other selections. Try to avoid busy times, if you see a full parking lot, keep going somewhere else.

    (4)
  • Kathy C.

There's a reason it's crowded - great food, great service, reasonable prices. Try the specials - they're always amazing.

    (5)
  • Mike F.

Pretty great! Drove down to Key West from Detroit and we stopped off in Tampa both on the way in and out. Me and my fellow travel companions stopped off here both times. We had excellent service and the food was amazing. We'll never forget it!

  • Zito W.

Love if here. Our family's go to breakfast place. My kids know it as the Mickey mouse pancake place (kids pancakes comes with mouse ears). Love the breakfast potatoes. Attentive service. Yes, it gets busy and there could be a wait but it's well worth it.

    (5)
  • Mike H.

As Yogi used to say, nobody goes there anymore- it's too crowded. Lots of food for breakfast (although the quality has become very inconsistent lately), good service, but just too darn crowded on the weekends. C'mon, 30-45 minute wait for breakfast?

    (3)
  • Wanda B.

We have been going to The Brunchery for the last year. We love breakfast out. Rarely is there a problem. Food is very good. I wish they would take skins off potatoes but many think they are good for you. Not true for arthritic people. Love the chipped beef. Eggs always server as I like. Servers are very attentive. There are times at most restaurants when things don't go as we wish but that is rare here.

    (5)
  • Matthew C.

Pretty dang good :) had the sausage skillet special. Way more food then I could eat, I tried though :). Nice place, friendly staff. Prices weren't too bad, about $25 for 2 people.

    (4)
  • Amber F.

Last time we went, the place was PACKED. We had a long wait but decided to stick it out. I ordered the Lithia Benedict, and the eggs were cooked wonderfully but I was expecting fresh asparagus, not canned. Waitress only came back a few times, she looked overwhelmed. I had a bite of the pancakes though, and they were awesome! It's a cute little spot, I'm just hoping the next time it will be a little bit better quality and service.

    (3)
  • Matt S.

I have been going to The Brunchery for as long as I remember (since they were located in Brandon). To me, The Brunchery is a staple of the area and serves up the best breakfast in town. I usually get the Krab & Cream Cheese omelet, which is delicious.

    (5)
  • Notso K.

Best breakfast in the area! Mexican omelette is always good and the banana pancakes are good as well. Always busy so it's best to call ahead. All the servers are nice and eager to suggest something but our favorite is Donna. We come here maybe once a month so not really regulars but she somehow remembers what we order. You won't find a better breakfast!

    (5)
  • Liz W.

Horrible! Took forever for someone to come to our table, it wasn't even busy. I got a mediocre club wrap and my husband got a patty melt. His patty melt was RAW in the middle and blood was all over the bread and plate. He told them he couldn't eat it and they took it back. You would think he would get a new patty melt but they just threw the patty back on the grill and put it back on the SAME BLOODY BREAD! It was disgusting, not to mention a health code violation. Needless to say we didn't finish our meal.

  • Rico L.

Average food. Miserably rude service. Never again. Their server was rude, so was the hostess. There are better choices.

    (2)
  • Whitney B.

The best little hole-in-the-wall places for breakfast. Their stuffed French toast I have found myself craving on many Sunday's! So friendly and definitely great for families.

  • Susie F.

This is one of my kids favorate restaurant they never let us down with their food but it can be a little be slow when got crowd but thats ok we are not in the rush for our sunday brunch

    (4)
  • Justin N.

The brunchery is my favorite place to have breakfast...or brunch. The eggs Benedict are ridiculously good. The servers never let your coffee get cold or empty, no matter how busy they are. I have tried most stuff on the menu and everything is good. Second favorite is the chorizo Benedict. Great prices and atmosphere for studying, bringing girls, friends from out of town, and having a quiet meal.

    (5)
  • Jachima T.

Love this place! I have never had the lunch selections here since I love breakfast food, but I think french toast and waffles are good any time of day. Great deals and great people!

  • Linda C.

I enjoy going out for breakfast with my husband on Sunday's. We have eaten at the Brunchery a handful of times...the food is pretty good but sometimes too salty. Service could definitely improve...took my mother-en-law there for brunch. Our server forgot to put in her meal order...not sure how that happens ...by the time her food arrived at the table our food was cold...yes, we could have eaten our food when it was hot...right out of the kitchen...but that would have been rude to eat in front of her...it took 20 minutes longer for my mother-en-laws food to finally get to the table. Over all the place is usually good...they are really busy as it is a popular place for the locals. It's not my favorite place to eat breakfast as it is "hit & miss" as far as the food is concerned...I would say maybe 3 stars. Suggestions: 1. - tell the cooks to go easy on the salt. The last seafood scramble I ordered was so salty I had to send it back. They brought me something else and all ended well. 2. - Offer more selections for folks that don't eat meat..not everybody loves bacon.

    (3)
  • Chelsea J.

Awesome place for breakfast. They'd easily get 5 stars if it weren't for the mediocre fruit cup I got with my meal. I've been here a couple times when on vacation. Recently I had the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and it was amazing. The egg was perfectly poached and it was just delicious. Coffee was good and service was attentive. The fruit thing wouldn't be a big deal but it was one of their advertised specials. If it's being touted as a special please make sure the fruit is fresh and tastes good!

    (4)
  • Danny T.

This used to be the best place to eat breakfast he had a bad owner who had a bad attitude you had to deal with every once a while but we dealt with it because the food was so good but the today I get there they wouldn't even let me sit said that I serving other stops sitting at 1:30 if it was 129 and refused to sit me I ultimately think that's the worst kind of business and when you're in business you can't be that way

  • Katrina P.

Ah, the Brunchery. I love this place. I mean it, I do! Whenever we come here, there is just so much to choose from but the friendly staff is patient enough to wait while my picky little mind makes a choice from the vast menu! The Food: delish! I LOVE the stuffed french toast and there are always specials that I like to try up on their chalkboard. The best I had recently was their lobster omlette...and it was around $10! Not too shappy! The Atmosphere: down home and laid back, just the way I like it The staff: Super friendly, very homey feel to everyone This place is great for brunch or breakfast and they have so many items to choose from like biscuits and gravy to pancakes (yum, banana nut) to muffins to omlettes to breakfast specials to sandwiches!

    (5)
  • Matthew W.

Food was great I got a meat lovers omelette and it was packed with all of my favorites sausage, ham, and bacon the omelette was large and delicious the hash browns were great and staff was friendly.

  • Aaron M.

The server hugged us when we left. Food was great.. service was good.. Local staff and it was all-around enjoyable. Ah yes -- they forgot our toast too.. And had to be reminded about the bacon... Forgetful. so they get bumped down to 4/5

While visiting family in the area we happened upon The Brunchery in our Yelp search. This place has gotten a lot of good reviews so we had high hopes. Both my Mom and I had the eggs florentine benedict. Fresh spinach and tomatoes. Delicious. They also add bacon. So good. The hollandaise sauce was great. Light, not too over powering and just perfect. The hash browns were great. We had a great meal. My step-dad, however, did not have the same experience. He did not care for the bacon, he said it didn't taste like bacon. They forgot his toast, which came out cold and he never received his orange juice. He also ordered hash browns and he got potatoes. The service was very good. Everyone was friendly. If you are looking for a great breakfast place in the area, this is the joint to go!

  • Travis E.

Awesome food. I love the omelettes and the wife loves the crab and cream quiche. The service is some of the best around. Very good family environment. This is the best breakfast around do doubt.

  • JEWELe M.

Even though this establishment was quite farther than we expected, my best friend and I really enjoyed our brunch here. I ordered the Florentine Benedict and I ate THE WHOLE THING! It was pretty large, and addicting, so I kept eating until there was nothing left! The side potatoes were delicious and even the coffee. My best friend and I ended up walking home to work off the calories....JUST KIDDING! But we did walk around the neighborhood when we got back to her place!

    (5)
  • Gwen C.

The food was wonderful! Great food and it arrived so quickly even on a busy Sunday morning! The staff was friendly, but since it was so busy they werent the most attentive! The environment is very homey. Look forward to going again and again! With all the options and even lighter options, how can you not go??

    (5)
  • Jude B.

I guess I ordered the wrong thing here, I got a chicken salad sandwich and thought it was too runny and everything kept dripping out. Very messy and the grapes weren't a favorite for me, though I have enjoyed dried cranberries in other recipes. Going to try a breakfast item next time.

  • Rick F.

I am a regular, but have failed to review before. Great varied menu, but I lean toward their omelets. Yesterday's was a Western Omelet. The eggs are always perfect, fluffy and delicious. The cheese and ham were generous. The ham is not grocery store - processed and packaged ham. Fresh ham, shaved and fills the generous plate of eggs. The green peppers and onions we sauteed with some firmness remaining. Service is outstanding. Yes, it is crowded, but if your server is busy and your coffee cup is ready for a re-fill, there is someone else ready to provide.

    (5)
  • Robert G.

They have great options for breakfast or lunch. Can get very crowded on the weekends.

    (4)
  • Jeremy T.

I saw this place many times driving by for various reasons, when it was open it was packed always. I got up early this morning and decided to go check it out. If you cannot stand crowds this may not be for you, or get here when they open at 730 AM. If you expect to get in and out in a hurry, this may not be for you. If you like to enjoy your breakfast then this is your place to go. This place is like a typical diner, but they do tons of omelets, eggs benedicts, and other breakfast items. I decided to try a frittata and of course coffee. The coffee was plentiful and fresh, also they ask you before they warm your coffee up. Also the coffee cups are not the thick ones that make your coffee cold immediately after it is poured into the mug, this always drives me nuts, the mugs are perfect for a good cup of coffee. It also drives me nuts when you got the coffee just the way you want it they come and mess it up. The frittata was plentiful, but not a true frittata, not going to hold them accountable for it because it is difficult to make correctly or well because they are more like a cross between a quiche and a omelet that is served open faced. Also they have daily and seasonal specials and I did not see anyone who ordered a bad meal, I think I am going to try out their pancakes next time because they looked perfect. These guys are little short staffed at the moment, but you could hardly tell. There are plenty of regulars and I can understand why. The food is great and there are no other places around like this in the immediate vicinity.

    (4)
  • David B.

Good spot for locals but over priced and crowded most weekends. There are better options just West of here. :)

We took a party of 6 to the Brunchery yesterday, New Years Eve. Service was great, food was just right. the Brunchery Benedict and the Chorizo Benedict were exceptional. One of our party had a special order and that was prepared as requested. Refills of drinks were frequent and we left happy. They do brunch right.

Love the blackberry stuffed French toast and pumpkin pancakes!! Yum! Haven't had a bad meal there ever. Expect a wait for breakfast!

Great place to eat, love their BLT and it is a bargain price. Their breakfast is the best and it is a great value. Service is always good and our drinks are never empty. Recommend highly.

Nice local place Very solid service and breakfast menu.

  • Jake K.

I want to rate it 1 star so no one will go - because they're that good. Have had red velvet pancakes, but the banana granola pancakes are the best when they have them. Omlettes are great, and my fave is the Popeye. Coffee is good and fresh. They usually have a wait on Sunday mornings, so make sure you bring your patience with you - it's been worth it every time. Or pick another time, since that's when I go ;)

  • Jerry D.

We have a love hate relationship with this place. The food is always good. They know how to get breakfast right. My issues always have been the fluctuating quality of service and the attitude. Most of the servers are ok; there are a few that are exceptional people here. It's the attitude of the owner that has always been an issue. If she knows someone, they have a wonderful experience. If she doesn't know you, it doesn't matter how much of a regular you are, you'll get the full-on attitude. This attitude seems to effect the front people and the beverage people more than the servers. Do I recommend this place? Occasionally. If I do, I always tell them to beware of the attitude. If the service didn't trickle down from the owners attitude; we would give it 5 stars.

3 words ... Banana Nut Pancakes!!! they are amazing and so is everything else here. This is one of my fav brunch spots. Even though it is a little far for us... it is totally worth the drive

  • Nicole F.

I like this location much better than where they used to be. The breakfast menu has many choices and they always run specials. Everything there is good...just make sure you come w a hearty appetite bc the portion sizes are pretty big...and if you happen to go on a weekend...GET THERE EARLY!!!!
