We decided to veer off course to find this gem after reading about it on Yelp. The location is a short drive from I95 and upon arrival we were not sure of our decision. The store front is located in an old strip mall that looks rather pedestrian. There are potholes in the parking lot and the surrounding neighborhood has that shady feeling about it. Don't be fooled by what you find on the surface. Entering the store, you realize that this is an old school fish market with a handful of bar tables and stools strewn about the store. There's a single menu at the register and if you engage the staff they will indulge you with the daily special. You order and pay at the register, if you want a drink you help yourself to a beverage from the cooler. Speaking of beverages, they have one of the best craft beer selections I've come across. Anchor yourself at one of the bar tables with your beverage and the food is brought out in styrofoam take out boxes. The ambience is one of a fish market, the aroma of fresh fish, the clatter of shrimp bags being thrown on the fish tables for sorting; there was even a Cat forklift unloading pallets of fresh fish running around in the background. Today we ordered the 'Not from a Can Tuna Melt' sandwich and the Fresh Fish BLT sandwich with tilefish. The tuna melt was light, not creamy at all, with fresh vegetables mixed in on sourdough. Best tuna melt I've ever tried! You can actually taste the fresh fish and vegetables instead of the typical over mayo specials you find elsewhere. The fresh fish sandwich is made with blackened tilefish and served on a bun with bacon, lettuce and tomato. All I can say is; outstanding. The fish was nice and flaky with a seasoning that was neither overpowering not too salty. It wasn't until after our meal that we found out that you can select any of the fresh fish filets from the market and have then fry it up right there. Be sure to request hot sauce and a bevy of never seen before hot sauce selections are brought to the table. I particularly enjoyed the Cat in Heat. In summary, if you want a no nonsense fresh fish meal, this is the place hands down.

My wife and I came here after getting rid of the child. With a five star rating, I felt like I had no choice but, to try this place out. They are located in an old strip shopping mall. The shopping mall looked run down. Parking lot was in no better condition. Inside was more of a warehouse/market than a restaurant. They had refrigerated display cases of fish and other seafood in the front of the market as you walked in. They also had a couple of tables in case you wanted to eat your food there. We ordered their crab cakes, royal red shrimp, and their fish basket made with Tilefish. After ordering and paying, we went to one of their tables and waited. The Royal Red Shrimp came out first. I was a little disappointed that they did not have fresh Royal Red Shrimp. But, July is not the season for them, so we had to settle for the frozen ones. These shrimp were a lot better than the ones that we had a few days before in Mississippi. They were firm and had a sweetness to it, almost like lobster meat. Glad the second chance with these shrimp was better than the first time. The crab cake was the size of a hamburger patty. It was full of crab. It wasn't as good as some of the other crab cakes that I have had at other places, but, still decent. The fish basket consisted of fried fish, hushpuppies, and fries. The fish had a light batter. I've never had tilefish before. I thought it was okay. This place is more of a warehouse/market than a restaurant. They do bring your food to the table. Food is okay here. I'll give it 3 1/2 stars.

Wild Ocean Seafood Market really is as good as the reviews say! I was staying nearby during my time in town and stopped in for dinner one evening. The staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions with a smile. I got Mrs. T's shrimp salad roll and it was huge and super tasty. Tons of shrimp and lots of flavor. The fries were okay. I've had better but the fries aren't the star here. I wish I had been able to take some of that fresh seafood home because they had a huge selection and it looked great!

The Good - the seafood market items you take home to cook. Very good fresh fishes, as well as gourmet bottled sauces and frozen items (clams and oysters, the latter expensive but very good). The Bad - most of their prepared foods that I have tried. Horrible chicken salad - I literally found chicken SKIN, lots of it, in the chicken salad and felt nauseous finding it. Also the crab cakes were hideous, tasted like a few pieces of some kind of cheap, strong (old), cooked fish embedded into a squashed cornbread muffin. They also made a stab at cooking soups for awhile, and the two I tried were very very bad. They need to concentrate on their fresh-catch market and stay away from prepared foods. One exception - fantastic shrimp salad, I get that time and again, and ~$12 a lb. is probably about right price, as it is loaded with big, perfect shrimp, savory seasonings, and a little chopped celery-onions. I know my husband loves me because he always leaves me the last few bites!

It doesn't get any fresher, that's for sure,. Great variety depending on the catch, and they will tell you how to cook it if you don't know. Lots of local info available. You can get go-with items too, if you want to save a trip to the big grocery store. Folks, it is a fish market and you can tell when you walk in. That's a GOOD thing!

Yellowfin tuna, octopus, and shrimp salads samples were on the counter as fast as I could try them. Lunch was a quarter pound of each consumed in the parking lot. The flavors were sensational. For dinner, I selected perch stuffed with crabmeat. At $8.95 it must have weighed close to a pound. The dinner serving came with a bag of ice. Titusville's Wild Ocean Market is on the corner of South Park Avenue and South Street, in what evidently used to be a large grocery store. It has the most square footage of any retail seafood store I have ever seen. The clerk indicated that they own the building, and they deliver anywhere in the Continental U.S. Another location is at 710 Bluewater Drive in Port Canaveral. For any seafood lover visiting the Kennedy Space Center or local beaches, this has to be on your route; the quality and value are amazing.

Best seafood in Central Fl. We drive from Winter Park to Port Canaveral to buy our fish, that's how good this place is. Thrilled to hear they visit the Audobon Park Farmer's Market on Monday nights. I will be getting fish much more regularly now as, AP is 10 min from my house. Love you guys, keep on fishing!

I spent the better part of my life in the fishing business (35+ years) - production, distribution, wholesale, retail, etc. Was VERY impressed with the cleanliness of the market when I walked in and even more so with the quality of the seafood available for purchase. To make matters even better, the people behind the counter were very friendly, knowledgable and attentive! I highly recommend Wild Ocean Seafood Market -

Went here a while back for a Yelp event. I'm not writing this based on my experience at the event - which by the way was absolutely fabulous! Can't say enough about the quality of the food they served us. What I am rating this on is what I saw when I got in the store. I got there early and was sitting in my car in the parking lot. While sitting there waiting for my event I saw 3 separate cars pull up and people get out with a cooler and go into the store. I decided to go ahead and go in even though I was way too early for my event. What I saw was lines of people - not Yelp members - just regular Sunday afternoon customers picking up their items. They were all standing in front of the display cases (which were spotlessly clean and full) and there were 3 or 4 people behind the cases helping everyone. To me that is a clear sign that this place is someplace that has "regulars" - and that is always a good sign. There was plenty to choose from in the cases and there was a woman behind the counter giving people suggestions of what types of fish to try and how to cook it. At the end of my event I bought some shrimp to take home. They were the freshest best tasting shrimp I have ever had! I also got some ahi steaks and seared them the next night for dinner. When ever I am over in that area I will make it a point to stop in. Heck - everything was THAT good that I might make that the reason to be in the area!

I really need to go to their brick and mortar store. I usually find them at the Winter Park farmer's market. The rock shrimp are incredible. Despite living in Florida, it can be hard to find great fresh seafood. I wish they could have a permanent home nearer to Orlando. The prices are reasonable (unless you are ordering online- shipping= yikes!). Can't wait to find them again.

Wow! What a great find if you love fresh fish and seafood!! NOLA Shrimp & Grits $9.99 are the best. Also, homemade soups. Check out all of the different fish available. Great people also!! This is a fish market that serves food, not a restaurant per se. Highly recommend.

Top notch selection of the freshest seafood. We had excellent service from the staff. I picked up fresh Swordfish, Tilefish and Wahoo. All were excellent. The swordfish was probably the best I have ever had, and much better than what you can generally find a t a restaurant. We really love this place.

Best seafood in central Florida. Always fresh and local! Highly recommend the prepared foods as well (fish tacos were amazing). Also, the beer selection is top notch...carefully chosen Belgian ales and local FL natives.

I've shopped at both of their two locations and I must say I prefer wild ocean in Titusville over their port canaveral store. The staff is much friendlier and more knowledgeable and it seems as if there's a larger selection. I enjoy eating seafood and I like how fresh it always seems to be. The store in Titusville isn't the nicest looking on the outside and where it's located isn't the greatest but the inside is very clean and spacious . If your looking for fresh Florida seafood, Wild Ocean is the place to shop.

Not I'm pressed. I was expecting more from this place to fish displayed was past it's prime. The pungent smell kicked me in the face as soon as I entered the building. It reminded me of this bad Latin market in delray. I usually don't slam a place but I just don't feel that the fish displayed would be fit for consumption maybe bait. I will not return.

Yum, Yummy, Yummiest! Fresh and sustainable seafood, shellfish and fish at it's finest. The Titusville location has an impressive Craft Beer selection. I've enjoyed the Fresh Mahi Mahi, Royal Reds, Rock Shrimp smoked fish dip and more. They stock Fat Cat hot sauces, I picked up a few on my last visit. Why sustainable? Because we do need fish swimming in the ocean. Bring a cooler or buy their insulated tote for the trip home. I love heading out to stock up and you can grab a snack to enjoy before you head home. Very nice staff, look for them in Orlando at the Audubon Park Market on Monday nights.

This review is for the Wild Ocean booth at the Audubon Community Market on Monday evenings. This is your opportunity to buy straight from the boat real Florida seafood without driving to Port Canaveral. Do NOT miss out on the Rock Red shrimp when they have them. Great people and great fish (great market too)
