Love blondies! I'm pretty sure it's family owned. Everyone there is really nice and inviting. The food is always good and it's breakfast all day! The only complaint I would have about blondies is that it's sometimes hot and stuffy inside, but there is some outdoor seating! I really enjoyed the beezy cakes, hash browns and their soups.

I just realized that I actually went to Blondies back in July 2014 when we were house shopping in the area. So this review is better late than never! I'll have to go back to refresh my memory a bit, but I do remember that we arrived for lunch with a group of about 8. We had to wait a few minutes for another table to finish, but they were able to push some tables together and seat us outside. Everyone had a mix of breakfast and lunch items. I had the buffalo chicken salad, which was huge and had a good buffalo sauce. It's in a shopping plaza and easy to miss, but definitely worth the stop!

Okay well the food is very good we came here on Saturday for brunch we walked inside and it was three open booths we were told the booths were for three or more we were only two so. We were told we could sit outside but it's 93° I would have to say that is a little bit greedy and selfish will probably go somewhere else for brunch on Saturdays Highly disappointed

Stopped here the first time for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Along with the standard breakfast items they have lots of different and creative dishes. Many Eggs Benedict combinations referred to as "Crazy Benny's". I went with "Benny's Hash". The hash was beautifully grilled (as it always should be, but rarely is) the size of a quarter pound hamburger sandwiched between the toasted English muffins and the perfectly cooked poached eggs, topped with hollandaise sauce! Best corned beef hash I've ever had! Breakfast comes with a choice of sides, I loved the excellent grits. Food is a bit pricey here but everything is homemade as I was told by one of the owners. They even prepare their own corned beef! This breakfast was exceptional and top ingredients prepared from scratch cost more and are worth more. To be clear, prices aren't crazy, just a buck or two more than your average breakfast place. This is a happy place with friendly servers and owners; two young women that grew up in the restaurant business with Dad (Benny?) overseeing the kitchen, as such their slogan is "Where the Girls know Good Food". I left with the impression that everything here is top notch with owners that really care. There is little question I will return. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner till 9PM.

Breakfast/Lunch today was okay. The big disappointment is the service, attitude and price. Used to come here all the time but $14.00 for iced tea, scrambled eggs, English muffin and a tiny side dish of hash browns (they used to be served baked in a ramikin) that was not even HOT. No one smiles, they stare from the kitchen and counter area with blank looks. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE CHARMING PLACE? Have you gotten so busy you forgot where you started? It's the heat of the summer, no tourists, mostly locals......all the more reason to make it right. Run some specials, act like you care!!!!!!!!!

Blondies has a friendly diner-type atmosphere. It's in a little strip mall, and doesn't look like much from outside. We almost didn't go in because strip mall restaurants aren't always the best. However, this place didn't disappoint! The staff is all super friendly and it seems it's a family run place with lots of pride in their service and work. We both had the blackened Mahi tacos which were very, very good. Bottom line: If you like diners, you'll appreciate this place. If you want fancy fare and a fancier atmosphere, maybe not. I thought the food was great quality though and it was far from just a typical greasy spoon diner.

This was a pleasant surprise indeed. Last time we tried a breakfast place in Florida we were shocked at how bad it was. But this place was great The staff are very friendly and efficient. The omelets were very tasty. I had the cap research omelet and it was very fresh and light and yummy. I also tried a cheese and bacon omelet and it was very good too. So on the whole this place is a great little spot!

  • Roger L.

Above average food and presentation for breakfast style. I had the Hass omelette and fruit. The omelet was cooked to my liking with red peppers and shrimp. Our server was fine and a tad dry but with a healthy sense of humor. I appreciated his mannerism. I recommend stopping here at the corner of Old Dixie and US 1 for a quick breakfast. Just aim for the CG lighthouse.

If you haven't been here and you're local, you should make its point to. Since they opened I've been a few times when I'm in the area and everything I've tried has been good, particularly this kinda veggie panini they have- can't remember the name.

This is our go to breakfast spot every time we are in town to visit family. Perfectly crisp bacon, delicious hash brown casserole, and don't forget the beezy cakes.

Most awesome service and wait staff! We came after the Sunday blowout rush, so admittedly I wasn't disappointed too terrible that they ran out of sweet potato fries and my wife's original order of fresh mahi tacos. Lindsey was more than accommodating and substituted items. Note : I ordered a burger - make your own - and this was possibly top two BEST burger I've had in my life. Fresh in-house ground beef, crispy griddle exterior, medium rare pink inside. Flavor will blow your head off. We will be back.

  • Jenn H.

Food was pretty good. The service was slow and the staff was not attentive. I liked the decor and the feel of the place. Fries had a licorice taste that was undesirable but hey we're still edible. I thought it was overpriced.

I was up in yhe Tequesta area today for work and want to try a home town place. I came across Blondies with high ratings so I tried it. I ordered the Country Boy which was hasbrownz, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Being from Oklahoma I thought I was gonna have a good country breakfasy. Boy was I wrong. The hasbrowns came out with cheese and sourcream, the eggs came on top of the biscuits and gravy, and the sausage gravy on the biscuits came out Orange. Just by looking at it was disgusting. But i tried to look past the looks. The hasbrowns were ok not the best, the eggs tasted like liquid eggs, and the biscuits and gravy are by far the worst I have had EVER. For the price of $11.47 it was not worth it.

Sadly, Blondies is no longer in business. We went there yesterday (08/01/2015) and they're gone. According to the neighboring business, Blondies closed last week. A real shame because they offered the best breakfast in the entire area, and you could order it any time of day. Always excellent. Will be sorely missed.

  • David B.

Nice local spot. Service was quick, extremely friendly, and attentive. Breakfast available all day. Items are creative, not standard. Good kids menu. Ordered The Margaret -- egg whites with spinach and tomato on whole wheat. Healthy and good. Clean and bright. A happy way to start the day.

Last night my sister and I had dinner at Blondies; we both ordered the chicken franchaise. I was struggling between the chicken or the grouper special. Our waitress said, "The Chicken Franchaise is amazing!" That made my decision. It was amazing! So good in fact, I decided to go back for breakfast on my own. I just finished the best pecan pancakes I have ever eaten in my life! So light and fluffy! Not overly sweet, and just the right amount of pecans. The bacon was perfectly cooked for my preference and freshly made, OJ tasted freshly squeezed, coffee good! I may be back for lunch!

  • Robin S.

Great oatmeal, veggie omelets, pancakes and sausage! Cute and quaint place with decent prices. The server was very polite and helpful. One of the best breakfasts we had in Jupiter.

  • Ameesh P.

Stopped by here to have breakfast with some friends recently when we were in town. We decided on this place solely based on the reviews and I'm sure glad we did. The interior is a bit small and has the diner feel. The service as soon as you walk in is very small town and homey. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating to our every request. Their menu has a wide variety of items from the normal breakfast fair to their own special recipe pancakes known as "Beezie Cakes". I decided to opt for a healthier Caprese Omelete and wasn't sure what to expect with such a unique combination. I was impressed and so was everyone in our group. A definite recommendation if you are in this area. They serve lunch too if you're not in the mood for breakfast!

  • G. B.

If you consistently want the best hand made, fresh burger in northern Palm Beach County, go here. If you favor fresh cut fries, instead of the usual frozen crap, go here. Their daily dinner specials are always innovative and very good. Service is good and they show that they genuinely appreciate your business. OK selection of bottled beer. Try them out. You'll like it.

  • Sandra M.

What a great reason to move from Southern California to Florida. Incredible service unbelievably great fresh food. Can't wait to come back. We read about it in the local newspaper West Palm Beach post and couldn't wait to come and we are so glad we did.......

  • Michael A.

First off, this is the only good place I know of that serves breakfast at night. They now have burgers, which I have not yet tried, but all of their dinner selections and salads are terrific. The service is great, and if you are in the mood for breakfast, try the biscuits and gravy for sure. The Beezy Cakes are also great.

    (5)
  • Carol T.

I didn't give higher rating due to a bit higher prices than I felt was appropriate and for the fact that it took 10minutes to get coffee and longer for the water I requested as soon as I sat down (only 4 occupied tables at the time). I expect that coffee/beverage would be a priority for any breakfast place. It seemed to take a while before the other waitress pitched in to help. Downsides of a small diner-ish place in a strip mall/shopping center. Upside is good portion sizes and options. The food is cooked to order and seemed very fresh. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast they ordered. From French toast to Dr. Suess scramble to Country Boy breakfast. Be sure you check out the Blonde jokes on the chalkboard by the bathrooms (which are cleanly kept). If outdoor dining is your thing, 2 tables for 2 &1 table for 4 is available (just be sure that you check in inside first so they know you are there.

  • Lorenzo L.

This intimate little place in a strip mall (what isn't in a strip mall in S. Florida?) has a diner feel to it, but really delivers terrific homemade menu items and great service. The egg dishes were nicely prepared with fresh ingredients. We also sampled their chicken pot pie, which was quite delicious. A coffee shop / diner with serious food. What's not to like?

  • Jimmy M.

Best breakfast spot in North County (NPB, PBG, Jupiter, Tequesta). Awesome food all around. Love it. Had breakfast next to Broadway Joe Namath there today.

  • Natalie F.

Yummy! Poached eggs were cooked just right. Loved the presentation and the look of all the food. If I lived in the area I would be a regular

  • Friendly P.

The best breakfast I've ever had out. I ordered the standard with a side of pancakes. So good. Better than NY pancakes. There were 6 of us and the were able to get all orders out hot and at the same time. I can't wait to go back n try lunch.

  • Heather B.

I'm far from a fan. I had the biscuits and gravy. Awful. The amound of fennel used was so overwhelming I couldn't even eat it. And I also had a side of hash browns. Now, I review every new restaurant before trying it. I saw the pictures before I went and the reviews were pretty good. My hash browns were all hard. Overcooked? Or maybe they were aiming for that. But that wasn't what I saw when I reviewed the place before going. Either way, huge disappointed. I'll never go back. And what a shame since it's only a few blocks from my home in a town where there's very few options.

All I can say is the "Girls" know good food!!!!! Always spot on in every aspect. Weekends get busy and you might have to wait but it's well worth it. Rule of thumb..... If you prance in any restaurant and sit right down on a weekend chances are you might want to leave. There's a reason why your not waiting!!! Girls and staff if you read this........ BRAVO!!! Two words..... Beezy Cakes!

Always great food and great service! They are also really understanding about food allergies.

Update: We stopped in for breakfast this time. It was one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The Kaiser poppy-seed roll was warm and toasted, probably on the grill with butter, the two sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked and slightly runny (my favorite way), and the bacon was crisp but not overcooked. My husband ordered the same thing and we were delighted with our choice. Excellent egg sandwich, the Egg McMurphy! FYI: Two sandwiches, and two coffees and the bill was about $20.

What a great breakfast we just had at Blondies. The beezy pancakes were great. The captains chair. Came with a real deal ham steak. The eggs were fresh and the home fries were delicious straw like crisp potatoes. Did I mention how clean and well maintained this establishment was. We listened to the owner going over the specials for the day and they sounded amazing. Go get some good eats in a causal setting.

This is by far the cutest diner I have ever visited. If you are in the area and looking for a place to eat, trust me, go here! A group of 8 friends and came here for breakfast while on vacation. We were really impressed we were able to find a place to accommodate our large party at the last minute. Although the diner is small its spotless clean and decorated with a lot of style and personal touches. I loved the aqua walls and the polka doted booths. The walls are filled with family photos and the menu items are family recipes (love it)! We were all served little muffins in mini fryers when we first walked in and we all promptly ordered rounds of mimosa (very large). Everything on the menu looked fantastic but I decide on the cheddar omelet with hash browns and a friend and I decided to order the pigs in a blanket for the table. The omelet was awesome and I loved that the hash browns came out in little ramekins and were topped with cheese, sour cream and chives. The pigs in a blanket were mouthwatering good, homemade sausage wrapped in their Aunt's pancake recipe. If you guys ever decide to relocate your business... please choose Tampa! Next time I am in Jupiter I will definitely be back! Keep doing what you're doing :)

Had a lovely breakfast here. Hubby had prime rib Benedict, which they sometimes have on Sunday mornings. We sat outside because we brought our dog. Pet friendly staff greeted us right away and brought water for our dog. I had the veggie omelet which was huge! It came with their famous has Browns (cheese covered with green onion and sour cream) YUM! So reasonably priced and at least three different servers checked on us throughout the meal. We make this a regular stop for a great breakfast or lunch!

So... I am not typically a fan of diner type establishments. I don't really like breakfast food or greasy food so diners typically turn me off. This place was an AMAZING diner. # 1 - The decor was the CUTEST! Family run, there are photos of family members on the wall and cute little polka dotted seats and nicely painted walls. # 2 - They serve beer and wine AT A DINER. Mimosas always make my experience nicer, so I was pleased to see that. # 3 - The food was LEGIT. I went for the Caprese Omelette. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the mozzarella melted perfectly and it was a very nice and healthy option. My fiance' and some other friends got the Pigs N' a Blanket. Sausage links wrapped in their "Beezie Cakes", which are made from scratch pancakes. # 4 - Great service even though we were in a large party in a smaller establishment! If for no other reason than to try Pigs N' a Blanket for breakfast, check out Blondies!

Recently my daughter and I were in Tequesta headed for a certain restaurant only to find it closed for vacation. We found Blondies on Yelp which was easy but finding Blondies was difficult since that morning, the sign had been removed for construction. What a pleasant surprise! Just the casual atmosphere we were looking for and the food was wonderful. We are still talking about those pancakes. Don't let the review by Clint K discourage you from trying the hash browns. Keep in mind this is Florida and read between the lines.

Was working in jupiter for 2 months. Found this place my last week there. Best breakfast around. Hands down! To bad I found it to late. Burger Benny's are so delicious!!!!

After quite a search for an open restaurant without a wait we found blondies. Dont let the strip mall throw you off. Inside its comfortable and local. The mahi tacos were excellent! I got them blackened and they were just a tad spicy. Coupled with the tangy slaw they were terrific. Very nice staff - food csme from the kitchen quickly.

We went here and have to say we were pretty disappointed. We waited about 45 minutes for 2 egg white omelettes and 4 pancakes. The pancakes for the kids were actually very good but the omelettes came out as whole eggs and had about a pound of butter on them. The toast must have a had a stick of butter on each slice too. We returned the orders. So then they came out with the correct order and I must say I was disappointed again it was borderline burnt egg whites and pure butter again with barely any egg whites and oh yeah they forgot my oatmeal too on the side. We were there for almost an hour and a half and didn't even finish just paid the bill and left. My wife and I hate returning food but it was pretty bad.

One of our favorite breakfast spots (never tried it for lunch or dinner)! My family and I had breakfast here just a few days ago (10 people) and everyone said if was delicious! My husband and I come 2-3 times a month, and we've since introduced the place to my in-laws. The eggs florentine is my personal favorite, and since I prefer my eggs scrambled, not poached, they're always willing to make the substitution for me (and they've never given me a hard time about it). My husband gets scrambled eggs on a kaiser roll, and says they're always cooked perfectly. The girls are very sweet, and whenever we bring our dog, they'll always seat us outside with a bowl of water for him. We also can't get enough of the delicious mini muffins they bring out shortly after you've sat down (we always ask for doubles, haha), because they're just perfectly bite-sized! I was a bit surprised to see people complaining about no coffee refills, because any time were there, my coffee cup is never empty! The girls are always very attentive and accommodating. If you've never tried Blondies, I highly recommend going for a nice breakfast...it should be getting less and less crowded this time of year, so do yourself a favor and go!

Cute place, great food and great service. We went for Sunday brunch. The place run by sisters is a treat... Pun intended!

    (5)
  • Ray D.

Great theme, great food. Just looking at the menu you can tell these girls know their stuff. I had blackened mahi fish tacos, and the fish was blackened properly, which makes this place stand out. (In Florida, "blackened" usually means toss a few spices on and saute a bit.) In fact, I snuck back alone a couple of days later and had them again. This time they put a couple of little banana nut muffins down as soon as I sat. Nice touch. Good service. The place is small enough that someone is always nearby to help. Efficient use of space also conveys the sense that they know what they are doing. Go!

WOW! This restaurant is a real gem! The decor is whimsical and ecclectic...cheerful, happy and upbeat. The food was delicious and very well priced! We ate turkey sandwiches with stuffing and cranberry sauce and gravy, a patty melt and a chicken pot pie...all were delicious and well prepared. We cannot wait to go back for breakfast and dessert!

A real sleeper for some of the Best Food in town !! You can order breakfast or lunch anytime and the service is as great as the food

  • Diane S.

Love the place. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was served on an english muffin... how NY. The owners are from NY and maybe that makes it feel like home to me becasue so am I. Fries: excellent. My companions had soup (split pea) which was excellent (so he said) and the biscuits and sausage gravy, also very good. The decor is kitchy and the staff friendly. Its like being home but BETTER. I will for-sure visit again when in Florida.

Fantastic breakfast place. The Beezy cakes are to die for! Service was attentive and very friendly. The Blondies girls do know great food! I will always go to this place every time I visit.

  • Mitch G.

Nice casual restaurant -- we went for dinner and were very pleased. I had a blackened Mahi Mahi salad. The salad was very fresh and the Mahi Mahi was blackened the way it's supposed to be -- it had flavor and spice. And, the dressing a tasty jalapeno cilantro that had real flavor. My wife had a vegetable wrap and she loved it. I saw that a bunch of reviews focused on the eggs and breakfast and I'm looking forward to trying breakfast here. Finally, the service was attentive and very good.

  • Robert L.

My experience: A DISASTER! I really wanted to love Blondies. I live nearby. I love breakfast.... Any time. The pancakes were loaded with sugar -- horrible (who can ruin a pancake?) I ordered an egg over easy -- even the white was liquid. I asked the waitress to take it back, she told me "I should order over medium in the future"... Really? Maybe I'll go back -- but not anytime soon.

As we were driving through Tequesta we pulled up the Yelp app and looked for a good breakfast spot. Boy we were happy we stopped at Blondies! The clean appearance and up to date decor was a nice surprise. The place was very easy to find, plenty of parking available and we could eat inside or out. The service was attentive, the food was delicious, and the menu had lots of selection. Expect to get homestyle foods, well prepared dishes, without the grease of a typical diner and from what I can tell the ingredients can only be fresh rather than frozen.

Had prime rib - end cut -they have it Thursday Friday and Saturday starting in the Fall. Cream corn with bits of bacon in it, family recipe and a side of sauté shrooms. Au jus and horseradish sauce. Everything was spectacular! Really home style cooking, Really nice owner and excellent service. We had been for breakfast and figured if they are so good at that they must be good at dinner and we were very happy!

Overrated, except for the chicken motzaball soup, cute decor, waitress nice but unattentive, no coffee refill, even though not busy, wouldn't go back, prices kinda high for the quality of food, don't get the sandwiches, lunchmeat was questionable, didn't try the eggs

Went to Blondies this morning with my wife. It was a Friday around 9am and originally we were the only people in the place (which made us nervous) but as we ate the place filled up. This place is a cute diner and the booths are super cushy and comfy!!! OK to the real thing and that is food. My wife and I were here on a "Cheat" day for me so it was time to carb it up. We both had beezy cakes which is their pancakes. Wife had them with blueberries and I had mine with pecans and blueberries and they were wrapped around sausage. They were really good! I used to be a really big man and I know my pancakes well... These were fluffy but dense... Ummmm! Everything that was served on the tables around us looked really good and also looked to be a good portion. Here is the deal. This is good eats for a good price. I expect more people to go to this place and I expect that this place will soon be crowded most days of the week especially in season. The service was also good. Drink was always filled and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. This is a good spot and my wife and I plan on being back. Thanks Blondies for a nice breakfast with the woman I love!

We tried Blondies after church this morning. It was bustling, and with good reason. We had the "fabulous French toast," which was in fact fabulous. Scrambled eggs were perfect and the bacon was crisp, smoky and yummy. Coffee was tasty, too (we're picky about coffee). Service was quick and friendly, starting with the greeting when we walked in. We will definitely be back!

One word: AWESOME!!! I've been to Blondie's twice, once for the Crave Burger and second for the Philly Cheesesteak sub. I also had the carrot cake for dessert (A MUST!!) On both occasions I was blown away! This is the best kept secret in the Tequesta/Jupiter area. If you want REAL good diner food, this is the place for you. The only disappointment is that the place needs to be twice as big to accommodate everyone, so arrive early!

Took my girlfriend here for breakfast. First time for both of us. A little cramped for space but otherwise a true breakfast joint. Staff was friendly and on point with coffee and beverages. Seems like a good place for locals. Food was extremely good. Walked out of there stuffed!!! Will go back for sure.

I had breakfast at Blondies for the first time today. The place is cozy and fun and the staff is very friendly and all of that is nice and all but the food was DELICIOUS! Blondies has the best corn beef hash I have ever had!

  • I accidentally stumbled across this little cafe when looking for directions to the Burt Reynolds museum. It looked brand new. The menu was varied and all the food looked healthy and fresh something I couldn't find ANYWHERE else in Florida. There was the obligatory burgers and whatnot too a very satisfying selection of both the good and and the bad indulgences. I think everything was cooked fresh and cakes were homebaked to an enviable standard. My boyfriend ordered the mahi mahi salad and i had the chicken salad both bursting full of flavour and bursting out the plate! Very big portions! The service was fast and professional and personal. I felt very looked after! We even got a slice of red velvet cake to share when one of the girls brought us the bill, which was so so so tasty. It's a very friendly, comfortable place perfect for lunches and stop offs. I'd definitely go out of my way to go back there on my next attempt to find the Burt Reynolds museum!

What a great reason to move from Southern California to Florida. Incredible service unbelievably great fresh food. Can't wait to come back. We read about it in the local newspaper West Palm Beach post and couldn't wait to come and we are so glad we did.......

Best breakfast spot in North County (NPB, PBG, Jupiter, Tequesta). Awesome food all around. Love it. Had breakfast next to Broadway Joe Namath there today.

Overrated, except for the chicken motzaball soup, cute decor, waitress nice but unattentive, no coffee refill, even though not busy, wouldn't go back, prices kinda high for the quality of food, don't get the sandwiches, lunchmeat was questionable, didn't try the eggs

The food may be exceptional but that alone is not enough to compensate for their poor service. Maybe we caught this place on an off day so we will return tomorrow and give them another chance. Will update this post soon.

I had breakfast at Blondies for the first time today. The place is cozy and fun and the staff is very friendly and all of that is nice and all but the food was DELICIOUS! Blondies has the best corn beef hash I have ever had!
