Great wings but be warned that there is one real crabby waitress here. Ignore her and enjoy your great wings and all is good. Place is a bit run down but a great bikers stop on a ride. Multiple types of wings.

What a dump. I've dined at some real dives in my time but this place takes the cake. The filthy, crusty ceiling tiles have dated messages on them that have been in place over 20 years. I understand nostalgia but it's time to clean this place up! The self service grill had more secondhand crud on it than any public park grill you'll ever come across. The nasty carpet hasn't seen a vacuum let alone a good cleaning in many moons. I'm not sure what the owner(s) theory is with all the crud?? I ordered the fish basket & my coworker ordered some sort of BBQ chicken sandwich. The fish was fresh out of a cardboard box and I can't post what my coworker said about the chicken. Owners: Close this dump down and give it a thorough cleaning. I'd hate to see what the kitchen looks like. Your certainly a slob in public.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. The very thought of an old school beer joint nestled on the lakeshore serving great food was almost too much to comprehend. So, like my mama said, try to say something nice if you can. The people were great, the screened-in patio overlooking the lake is magnificent. I'll bet the wings and the peel-and-eat shrimp are great. Unfortunately, my pork loin sandwich, coconut shrimp and fixin's were a little south of mediocre. Not horrible, but not good either. Even the tea was so-so. If you are looking for a great bar that serves passable food this might be your place. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a destination restaurant or a "great find" you'll have to keep on looking. I really did want to like the place. p.s.: cash only (ATM machine on premises)

Went there today during lunch. Not crowded at all. Probably because of the server. I have read the reviews and they are true. The older server lady is as bad as they come. Very grumpy. Not friendly whatsoever. She also took pride in letting me know at the end of the meal that they don't take debit cards. Glad I had cash. They have an ATM machine there I am sure to make extra revenue. Though the burger was ok, the mean server lady is the deal breaker. She is just too mean.

Went there today for lunch and a beer,. we were the first customers of the day. Sat outside in the back and the waitress was a snot. She slammed the menu and paper towel holder down on the table, came back and when taking our order we smiled and said thank you and no response what so ever. Same attitude when we thanked her for beer. Ordered the grouper fingers and they had heavy breading, too greasy and not worth $8.00. Other person had grilled chicken salad and very small for the $8.00. The draft beer in a cold mug for a $1.50 was the only good thing. We have been here in the past and they used to have good food and service but not anymore. Would not go back or recommend. They do take credit/debit cards now.
