So I came as a party of 9 to lunch. It was my first time and I was dumbfounded by all of the amazing choices. I did the pick two, and it was phenomenal. I disliked that I was order number 5, yet my food came out first. Two of my colleagues didn't get their food for about 25 minutes after everyone else. Not only was that confusing since they ordered ahead of me, but one of the orders was just a soup bread bowl....ummmmm. The manager apologized, and have them some type of comp card for the future. My food was delicious otherwise this would be a less stars.

Very sad. This location near USF has closed down. Not sure how to report this. Turns out the owner sold the building so there was no choice. I hope to see them back in the area going strong. Will miss the staff and the tea!

Always satisfied with everything I get. Salads are great when you want to feel like eating good. Love the Savannah chopped and the Italian chopped salads. All sandwiches are great and so are the soups. If you can't decide do the choose two, get a half a sandwich and soup, or soup and a salad or sandwich and salad. The sweet tea is awesome! Potatoes are huge! Love the soft cookies. Hard to pass up when you are ordering. It is usually busy at noon, but not a long wait, they are fast and friendly. I always recommend this place.... Hate that there is not one out where I live.

Been to Mcalisters before in other states. So I speak with authority on the deliciousness that was my dinner tonight! I always enjoy their spuds! If you enjoy a large baked potato then pot roast or Angus roast beef spuds are realllllly exceptionally delicious! Tonight I ordered the angus roast beef with extra au jus! Was DELICIOUS! Also. Sweet tea! ALWAYS!

McAlister's is my office's go to lunch spot and we are there regularly. McAlister's menu has suffering for every body. when it comes to salads, the Savannah chipped salad is a combination of salty sweet with cheese, almonds, cranberries, cucumber, tomato and chicken with a tart and tangy sherry shallot vinaigrette. I personally like any of the chicken sandwiches, especially the chicken club. The soups are good, especially the spicy chicken tortilla and the tomato basil. The baked potatoes are huge and filling too. can't make up your mind, their choose two covers the entire menu. Make sure to get your sweet tea fix here as it's some of the best tea in the area. The service can be slow at times but the staff is very nice.

I really like McAlisters but not quite in love. Conveniently located near Busch Gardens and better than Busch Gardens food. The food here is consistently good. I have never ordered anything that I didn't like or was disappointed in. The soup, sandwiches and side options in my opinion are better than Panera, (yes even the broccoli cheese soup) and way better than subway. They have giant baked potatoes loaded with creative options. Everything is always served fresh and hot. The sweet tea is extra sweet! I usually go half sweet/ half un-sweet. There is always a slow line which frustrates me but once you order they give you a number so that you can sit down and they bring your food to your table when it is ready (another better than Panera moment). They are a deli not a bakery so they lose the battle of sweets, breads and pastries. They don't have much. I have tried a brownie and a cookie and neither were good enough to tempt me again.

I was excited to go here with my brother-in-law, but it fell short. Ordered the Pick two, Half French Dip & Half Cafe Ole Spud, added Rotel cheese sauce to Spud. Waited almost 30 mins for the meal. When it was brought out, Spud looked like it was missing the cheese sauce, so the runner took it back. Upon return, she said that it did already have it on there. No difference in looks or taste as compared to my companion's Cafe Ole Spud. If the sauce was on there, it fell short of flavor. I cook with Rotel often and could not taste it all. Sandwich was okay. Poor meat to bread ratio. Will probably not return anytime soon. Nearby Jason's deli I have never waited that long without an apology/explanation and have not had incorrect orders.

I had been more familiar with the McAlister's location on Boyscout but recently I've become quite familiar with this location on 30th (aka Bruce B Downs just south of Fowler). This location is as large if not bigger than the location further south, but it is just as welcoming. Great menu options and I really appreciate some of the unique choices on their Pick 2 menu. I can get soup and a 1/2 order of nachos? I can get a 1/2 sandwich and a small, loaded potato? Yes, please!! McAlister's claim to fame certainly includes their excellent iced tea and this location upholds that fine tradition. Some of the newer offerings I've sampled lately include the Orange Cranberry Club (a traditional club with a bright, refreshing orange cranberry jelly added and the chocolate peanut butter dessert bars (OMG, so good). Good food and a nice place to hang out! Also, big thanks to them for being totally cool with us hanging out for a few hours while we taught some friends to play Settlers of Catan.

In the age of Yelp they dare give you a burnt bread. The bread was not only burned but stale. The meats were standard supermarket quality nothing special. The potato salad and the famous tea were not bad but not worth the trip. I do not know how they stay in business with competition from much better Panera not far.

Generally I like mcAlisters deli, but this location just doesn't have the same quality as the location near international plaza in tampa off Boy Scout. Food was so hot for 15 mins like they just microwaved it and served it.

Went there with family because convenient and rare availability of a mufelata sandwich. Like many delis, you order and pay at the counter, then have food delivered. Drinks came quick soup and sandwich not so much even with a nearly empty dining room on a Sunday afternoon. My chicken dumpling soup was wonderfully flavorful and the quarter mufelata was ok....good on the olivetta salad, ham and salami, but no mortadella or other authentic Italian meats. Others had huge salads that they enjoyed, even if some veggies such as cucumbers were aging. Iced tea best we have had lately and the carrot cake was top notch.

This place is fine but nothing great. It's good for a fast-ish lunch. You order at the counter, but they bring the food to you and clear the table. I had the Reuben sandwich with a side of fruit and a diet Coke. The Reuben was okay. The thousand island dressing was on the sweet side, and the bread was under-toasted (and I couldn't really appreciate any rye taste). But the meat was tender, and the kraut was sour. The fruit on the side probably was a day past its due date, yuck. Staff was very polite.

Long slow lines, long wait for our food and then the order was completely wrong. Once the food finally came it was cold. They did have help wanted signs so hopefully things will improve in the future.

Got to hit this place with a bad review because of the inattentive, lazy, uneducated, slack-jawed, townie staff. The burn-out teenager cooks can hardly bake a potato and the airhead dolts working the register are pathetic. Why is it every time I come in here they out of potatoes? They have a whole section of the menu devoted to "spuds" yet more often than not the drooling "chefs" in the back are telling me we have to wait an hour for more potatoes. Seriously, how hard are is it to have potatoes ready, learn how to run your own business. I say pass it and go to Jason's Deli down the street.

I just love Mcalister's. I've been hoping for one ever since living near one in North Carolina. They have a diverse menu with lots of good options. My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich. My wife gets the club or a large spud with a bowl of soup that she pours over the potato. The kids menu is also very nice and enough options for my picky three little mouths. My son exclaimed that the kids nachos was like a never ending bowl of cheese. And saving the best for last: the sweet tea is awesome. It is the perfect sweetness and flavor and the most important factor is that it comes in a huge cup :) Great place for lunch, family friendly, and good prices.

One of my favorite places to get sweet tea. Just around the corner from USF so it is convienient. The pick two is the best deal in my opinion. Busy during lunch, pretty empty later at night.

I wish there was a location closer to Brandon. I have eaten at McAlisters Deli for years when living in Memphis. They have a great selection on their menu for a variety of appetites. Some of my recommendations are the Southwest Spud (with chili), the Veggie Pita, and the Muffaleta sandwich. The potato salad is fantastic and the broccoli and cheese soup never disappoints. Great sweet tea too, which you can buy by the gallon. This location is very clean, staff was nice. Price is reasonable/ the same as all other locations I've visited.

Service friendly but food was not good. I had a chicken salad. The chicken didn't look like chicken had a grey color.

Love this place. Big Nasty and a sweet tea all day long!! Great menu selection and high quality food. Potatoes the size of your face and stuffed with great options, huge sandwiches, and did I mention the best sweet tea in the world? Only thing keeping it from a 5 stars is the fact that the big nasty portion got much smaller with less roast beef and gravy, and that's the best part!!!! They also forgot our pickles, oh well, we'll still be back.

I'll admit, I'm an out-of-towner who was looking for places to eat on my tiny, tiny, phone and saw Rob F.'s review "sweet tea" was all I really needed to see, and I was here. Had I known this was just another chain-tastic McDonalds style place with slightly above average food, I probably wouldn't have bothered. The meal was better than most fast food chains, probably because they don't have a drive through, and the sweet tea was mediocre at best, but the people were friendly and didn't mind when I walked in looking like a hobo with some grocery sacks and sat down to eat dinner, so kudos.

Nice place for lunch, we get lunches catered all the time, I had their Spicy Southwest Chicken Griller, which was delish! I has a side of Mac n' Cheese that I wasn't a big fan because I don't like creamy mac n cheese. overall great experience!

One of my favorite places to eat on a regular basis. Great sweet tea. Friendly staff. They keep it very clean. Sit outside on the large patio on a nice day. Staff retention is high, and management is always in a good mood. Price is about $7 a meal. Some things are cheaper. College budget? Order off the kids menu and sub chips for a cookie. By no means exceptional food but the bang for the buck is high.
