They have good general tso chicken , lo mein. ( just I prefer the pork cut in thin strip pieces) I tried fried wontons and they were too over cooked and not much filling. I'm a New Yorker so I have higher expectations of what I'm used to. For around they're real good

We ordered take out from here a few months back, but just signed up to Yelp and really wanted to comment about my experience with the Forturne Dragon. The place was HORRIBLE! I love, love egg drop soup and always order it when I get Chinese. My soup had a very distinctive fish flavor to it, which was absolutely disgusting! It was almost like fish fry oil had been spilled in the soup or whatever container that was used to make the soup in was previously used to make fish and not rinsed out. I also got the beef lo mein, which is another favorite of mine and it was also simply awful. This place was so bad that I should have just called and demanded that I return the food and get my money back. You couldn't pay me to eat there again.

Awesome dumplings and Singapore Noodles! I love Jose! Shrimp Balls! Kung Fu Fish! Sweet & Sour (American style) chicken. Orange peel pork or beef! Yummy! This one's a bit more Americanized but I still find my "Chinese AMERICAN" favorites! Also, if your dining in try their Sugar Free Mint Chocolate ice-cream because I can't believe it's sugar freeEEEE!!! =P

I've ordered delivery from here a few times and I swear it's the best take out around this area. The Kung pow chicken is excellent. They have great combo meals either for lunch or dinner. Also love the fact that when you call and order you can understand everything the person says on the other end of the phone. Their service and very friendly, efficient, and fast!

I've ordered take-out from this location twice now but haven't been the one picking it up, so can't comment on the location just YET! I However, I do plan on eating-in sometime though because the food is mmm good! I'm surprised at how hard it's been to find good, consistent Chinese food in South Florida. A big pet peeve of mine is that I'm used to fried rice being a little more brown than yellow. Fortune's fried rice is just right in terms of color and taste. Not too salty, just the right texture, just the right balance of rice and meat (pork in our case). Also ordered fried chicken wings and orange chicken. The wings were generous portions. I've seen other spots cut one wing in half and call it two. Umm, no? Fortune's not stingy. The orange chicken glaze had a little kick but not spicy, just how I like it. Glazed entirely but not drenched. Phone ordering's a breeze with the gentleman on the other line speaking good English. Quite the perk. I think I found our new local and fave spot and will be back, often!

The food was very tasty. The Chinese restaurants near me are pretty awful so this little gem was a breathe of fresh air. The cashier was very friendly and I didn't expect it to have a dine in area.

Best authentic fried rice in South Florida. I can live off that alone. Reminds me of the Chinese Food back home (Rhode Island). You won't regret it simply the best

Never stepped foot inside but we order take out from them. Very friendly when they answer the phone. Fried rice, egg rolls are delicious. Haven't tried the soups yet (we aren't big soup eaters). Crab Rangoon wasn't to my liking but it's probably just me (I'm a little weird about the ratio of crab to cream cheese). All entrees we have tried have been excellent. Fast delivery since few Chinese places deliver in Tamarac.

I've ordered delivery from them one time and thought they had a pretty good lunch special. However when I went today for pick up the food the rice was old and not fresh so was the Mongolian beef. It seemed like it was old food that they just warmed up in the microwave. It was absolutely disgusting with no taste. I won't be ordering from them again. I'm upset that I wasted my money with them.

We come here a couple times a month now that we found it. Great food and quick service. The owner supports local law enforcement so it's always packed. Love the people and love the food.

Best in the area. Real fresh always consistent and they are great to eat in or order out. The staff is friendly but honestly I have tried EVERYONE in a 2 mile radius and this by far out cooks out serves and blows away the others. They are closed on Mondays though

Love the food especially the ribs. Can't find any other Chinese restaurant that actually BBQ their BBQ ribs. The other places just toss em up in sauce in a wok. Best in the area.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
