This is very good pizza, which is not easy to find in S. Florida I moved from NYC almost 2 years ago & am spoiled by having tasted some of the best pizza in the world there... It is not thin crust ,which is my very favorite style, but the crust is not too thick and it is charred just enough. The sauce is yummy and they use the right amount of cheese.

OK so in the area of Tamarac there are only two locations that deliver Italian. I repeatedly have eaten here and the pizza great and the the sauce is decent. Unfortunately, every time I call them I get a rude person. Today a woman. I was having a great day until I had to talk to her on the phone placing a order. Sincerely Pissed Off customer. I am paying 20 for a dish to be delivered try hiring pleasant people.

Ordered from here last night for the first time. Had a med with pepperoni and green pepper and it was fantastic. This was truly new york style this crust and was cooked to perfection. Totally cured the craving I was having for GOOD pizza. Deliver time was 30 minuntes and the driver was curious. Ats a pizza will now have a new customer!

Moderate speed, flavor and price. Not remarkable. Three stars.

Ordered pizza for the first time, last night. Delivery came on time, but not in a bag used to keep the pie hot so the temp was not piping. Price was fair. Now for taste/texture: The thin crust was not as crisp as it could be; most important the pie did not appear to have extra cheese as requested; overall, not anything special.

An updated review now that I've been in the area for awhile. At time's At's-A is great, other times... meh. It's been more meh lately so I've moved onto other places for pizza.

This was a first time for me for this restaurant. I called and ordered delivery. Ordered a large cheese pie & calamari. Well after waiting 1 hour and 5 mins, I called them back to find out what happened with my order. Wasn't sure if it normally took this long or what. I found out they canceled my order because apparently "A man called from my number and canceled the order because the card wasn't going to be present for the delivery" Obviously they got the calls and orders mixed up. So I had to replace the order and it was delivered like in maybe 20 minutes. So about the food, the calamari was garbage. The frozen type you could buy in a grocery frozen section. Pizza was good. NY style, not greasy, and I liked that the crust was crunchy. I will most likely order pizza again from them which is why they got 3 stars. First impression wasn't the best but I'm all about second chances!

Garlic rolls are the best thing they have on the menu. Eggplant parmesan is OK. Spaghetti is lackluster. Square pizza is good, regular pizza is not; I'd rather order dominos. There are two guys who are always there; one if them is nice and the other is grumpy. Took 40 minutes for two slices if pizza when I walked in and ordered take-out, but over the phone delivery is a lot quicker.

My experience with this place is usually hit or miss. But then again so are all the pizza places around Tamarac . I must say that they tend to be my default place when I want Italian and or pizza. I have eaten enough dominos when I was in college to ever actually want dominos even tho as far as consistency goes they meaning all the dominos type places have it down to a science. So basically I rather take my chances and call a mom and pop place. So this past order was a homerun . The pizza was right on the mark. I'm about to double down and see if they can do it again. I hope so, I really do. Seriously consistancy is the hardest. Especially when you are batting 1-0, my expectation is set high. Please don't let me down

I used a coupon that they sent in the mail for a delivery order, the woman seemed annoyed that I was using a coupon. When the food was delivered it looked as though they gave me chicken that was left over from someone else's meal, it was half of a chicken cutlet that was clearly cut with a knife and missing the other half. I had been ordering from them for nearly 20 years. They lost a steady customer by selling me food that was left over from someone else's meal because she wasn't happy about honoring her coupon. Shame on them and how repulsive!

I just came here for a plain slice of pizza. They have a great deal; 2 slices and a soda for $5. This is the beat slice of pizza I've had in Florida since moving from NYC a year ago. Its definitely NY style and the taste is Perfecto. This is NY Pizza. I'm on my way there now for more!

First and foremost, they deliver (quickly might I add) to University Hospital (right to your room!). We ordered their "world famous" garlic rolls, large cheese pizza (18") and Zeppolis. The garlic rolls are humongous and delicious. They are a tad greasy but otherwise they are delicious. The pizza was fantastic. The slicers are huge, too! As for the taste, the sauce is fantastic with a nice blend of sweet from what is guess are fresh tomatoes and savory. The cheese is quality and somehow they put the exact right amount on it. The Zeppolis were the highlight of the meal. They come in a big paper bag with about 35 of them and they are delicious. These should be "world famous!" They are smaller than your average Zeppolis (fried dough with powdered sugar) but that's a good thing. Most importantly, their employees are incredibly friendly. Not only were they nice on the phone (assumedly they get calls from hospital patients frequently) but the delivery guy was awesome. Super nice, better bedside manner than some of the doctors here, and made us feel even more excited about our dinner. An overall great experience. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely go here!

I've been going to Ats A Pizza for years now, and have always thought they were great, but gained a new appreciation for them today when I tried a different place in neighborhood. They make great pizza and a real value, I learned my lesson, when I want Pizza; its Ats A Pizza

Have eaten at At's a PIzza for lunch twice in the last month or so, the first time with eleven people in a meetup group I run, the second with two friends. Both visits Eric was our waiter and he was not only very welcoming and friendly but provided us with great service from drink refills to bringing our checks promptly. My eggplant parmigiana with linguini was absolutely delicious both times and with my extremely hearty appetite, I could barely finish half my meal and took the other half home for dinner the next night. Wow! Everyone loved their food both visits and left with a smile on their faces. My check for a very good salad, great main course and bottomless ice tea.... $12.00 Doesn't get much better than that!!!! A small cozy neighborhood place, go and enjoy!!

Gave this location a try, but just not what it used to be. Ample serving portion, but no flavor at all.

We wanted to try something new for dinner and from the reviews, this pizza placed looked tasty. It's also right up the street, which is also great for when you don't know where to go for dinner. We ordered an x-large pizza with salami, meatballs, extra cheese, black olives and banana peppers. The pizza was thin crust, a personal favorite in our house, but wasn't crunchy. The toppings were pretty skimpy for the price and pretty greasy. The overall taste of the pizza was good despite not having enough toppings. The best part I would say was the garlic knots. They were sitting in a bunch of butter and garlic. I'm a sucker for bread and butter, add garlic and I'm totally a fan. I would go back just for the garlic knots. The price for the pizza would have been appropriate if it had the adequate amount of toppings for the size of the pizza. The garlic knots were a great price though. Overall it was good, just not great and I could get a pizza from another Italian place that has more toppings for the price.

All was yummy, from the garlic rolls to the Spumoni & everything in between. Prices were reasonable & good for a local place. Kids were comfy, place was busy, staff was nice and provided good service. Will def return with the family!! :)

Really good pizza and garlic rolls! I live right across the street and they are fairly quick with good prices, especially for individual orders (ex: 2 slices and 3 rolls). Love to order from here for the food and convenience!! Must try!!

Fantastic Pizzas with fresh tomato sauce. Chicken wings are awesome. We devoured our serving in seconds. Owner was friendly and even stayed open a little later just to serve us.

Tamarac's best pizza place. Never dissapointed. Its small and hidden but once you discover this place - you wont get pizza anywhere else. Great italian food too. Our family orders here at least once a month. Be ready to hit the gym after your visit because you wont be able to eat just one slice. Not a bad place to grab a brew and some good italian food too. Love this place - been a customer for 15 years!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
