Okay...it's not NY pizza however it was pretty good. We ordered 1/2 cheese (we had my 5 yr old with us) and 1/2 meatlovers. Yes for the novelty of it we got the extra large pie. It was delicious. I would have liked it a little more well done...but knowing there would be left overs it will reheat better. Service was good. We also had breadsticks which was also quite good. All in all I would so go back!

Good pizza, decent service, lots of beer choices. Not unbelievably fantastic pizza, but it's above average. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Oh man this pizza is good. I love that they go by the slice so I can get whatever I want!

My preferred location in town since my college nostalgia has worn off. The pizza is awesome, cooked perfectly and with as many unique toppings as you want. For the portion size the prices are worth it. They have a much larger restaurant for large parties and an excellent beer selection. I already loved this place, but tonight I had a reservation for a 18 people and the staff and manager were very accommodating and everything went very smoothly.

Service wasn't anything special, it seemed sporadic at times. But it wasn't horrible. The shop itself I think extends into three buildings, so plenty of tables. This was the first time I've ever had a giant pizza and it tasted great. I think one is enough, shouldn't have gone for two! It stays true to its claim as big or bigger than your head. The dough was excellent as it was crunchy and soft around the crust. It was a tad colder in certain areas, but that didn't turn me away.

FINALLY! A really good pizza joint in Tallahassee! Order a slice and you'll find that pizza can truly be made in gigantic proportions -- the slices are from a 36" pizza. One slice of this delicious pizza is more than enough. PLUS, this is one of the few places in town with their own microbrew ( about time Tally town caught up with the rest of the planet. But then again, I'm spoiled bing from Oregon). Sit down, enjoy the pizza (my fave is the big meat) and the beer (they have a truly remarkable IPA on tap).

Went to Momo's for a quick bite as I was traveling. We ordered the large veggie and a greek salad. It was more than enough for 5 people. The food came out quick and was delicious. The crust on pizza was perfect, a little bit crunchy and doughy. Check out @onebiteonesip on ig for picture.

I had lunch here with a few colleagues and while I found the service and the preparation to be quite good the portion sizes were beyond ridiculous and for that I had to drop my rating.

This is definitely the best pizza in Tally, you get so mug bang for your buck!!! I have been there so many times the beer is also really good; I would highly recommend this place for someone who wants great pizza in Tally!!!

I see a lot of people writing bad reviews about the service but when I went there for lunch today the service wasn't horrible. It was average. I have gone to this Momos and the one on Tennessee street. Honestly I don't see what the hype about it is. Yes, the pizza is big, but the flavor is lacking. The pizza isn't very saucy and to me it honestly just tastes bland. I would personally rather do hungry howies and save my money...

Wow! Biggest pizzas I have ever seen!! I didn't get a chance to try their draft beers or other menu items, but I'll be soon returning to this place: service was prompt and friendly, the restaurant clean and the pizza plentiful! 5 stars!!

We were drawn here based on the recommendations to check out their craft beer selection. I'll start by saying that the calzone and salad we had were very good. The 'small' Greek salad was bursting out of its bowl. Cheese all over! Same with the calzone. The beer selection though.... The thing about craft beer is that it is always expanding and full of re surging styles that have nearly been forgotten with time. This place didn't have those. They just had a few boring old IPAs, corporate lagers, stouts (in the summer?) and a shandy they were trying to unload at 3 dollars. We ended just having water.

I had been to Momo's hole-in-the-wall location on Tennessee Street multiple times while attending Florida State but just ventured into this location for the first time last weekend. I was surprised! Though definitely busy on a Friday evening, the location was much more spacious than I was expecting. Plus, it was both clean and new looking, which is also a departure from the original restaurant! Our table of 6 adults + 2 kids started with the Pesto Goat Cheese Stix. Ohh. Myy. Those were tasty! I ate 3 of them... which I was regretting very quickly when the Mega White arrived. We made the mistake of ordering the XL, which was about 3 feet in diameter (literally). I barely got through eating a slice after chowing down on all of those bread sticks a few minutes earlier. Though the pizza was good, I do believe that there were way too many onions on top. I love onions... but it was a bit excessive.

The slices are huge!! Even though mine was a little more done than I would have liked today most of the time it's spot on. The beer selection is phenomial! If you love craft beer and good pizza this place is perfect for you! I would give it 5 stars but there are some maintenance and repairs that have been over looked. I sat in the last booth and there was a 6 in section where the metal corner bracing was showing right at elbow level. A few touch ups and this place would be perfect. The atmosphere is eclectic and casual. Very comfortable surroundings.

the thin-crust pizza is nice and crispy. my roommate and I each got slices that were HUGE (2 meals' worth -look at the pictures from the other momo's location). my only real gripe is that the toppings are overpriced. we came here on a friday before 6pm and had no issues with waiting. the staff definitely gives a hipster vibe.

In addition great pizza they have a very large beer selection.

  • Alex H.

the food was aight. the vibe of the one near fsu is honestly more aesthetically pleasing but they get two stars because the sauce was better. also the calzones at the other one are way bigger, it's actually so disappointing. and also the other one has less kids. overall, pick the other one.

I like to go to Momo's pretty frequently. Pizza is good, house made beer is fantastic, but sometimes the service leaves much to be desired. If they could get on the ball in that regard they would get 5 stars.

BEST pizza in town! Fresh and slices that are bigger than your head! Brew House at the Market Square location - best brews in town and new flavors regularly added. Love to dine on the patio and love Wednesday nights live music...shhh! Don't tell too many folks or it will get too crowded!

The pizza is better than average but nothing special. I love that they are brewing their own beer now. For me its a friendly, reasonably-priced, neighborhood restaurant and we have been there several times and plan to go again.

This was the only time in my life that I haven't tipped my server. It was a Friday night; it was busy. But she probably wouldn't have screwed my order up three times if she had been listening. The menu has a vegan pizza, and you cannot order slices--only whole pies. Alright, I decide I can order a medium and eat a good three meals from the leftovers. So I order a medium vegan pizza and add on the five toppings I'm allotted. When the food comes out, I see that a slice of pizza with cheese and all the toppings I ordered was brought. I tell the person bringing the food out that I had ordered a medium vegan pizza--since the slice had cheese I wouldn't be able to eat it. So the server comes out and apologizes, and I think, hey, no big deal. Until she comes back with one of my friends' orders and I hear her mention to him how there were three vegetarian orders. I think, "shit, when my pizza gets here there's gonna be cheese on it." As she passes by i get her attention and verify that there will not be cheese. She says, "oh no, it'll come with cheese." I think I got a little short, and I said that since I ordered it vegan, there shouldn't be cheese. She looks like she's just realized that she's fucked this up twice. She reports back that the kitchen is re-making it and it will be out as soon as possible. Cool. By the time it finally gets out here, all of my friends have finished. I see the pizza and it looks like someone took handfuls of the toppings I ordered and sort of just threw them in clumps. Nothing is distributed. And one of my toppings is missing. And I might as well mention that we waited far too long for a table, and then we were treated like the number of people in our group was a problem (there were 7 of us and a one-year-old): they had a table for ten (and it was implied that that would be a waste since there weren't ten of us), or they could split us into two smaller tables that were near each other. Really? We pitched a simple solution and I'm pretty shocked they couldn't figure it out on their own. So, terrible wait, flaky service, and unimpressive food. I have no intention of wasting my time there ever again.

Obviously when I order a slice I expect that it's been made ahead and will be reheated, but the piece I got could have been made the day before. We were the only people in there, we all ordered slices, but it took nearly half an hour to get our food. The young lady behind the counter, who looked like she pitched face-first into a tackle box, was far too busy chatting with her goth friends to worry about something as pedestrian as her job.

Pizza slices as big as your head! I think that's their slogan. The pizza slices are that big. They are thin crust pizza's, pick your own toppings. The outdoor seating is nice if it's not too hot out. There are two indoor area's of seating and pretty kid friendly.

Momo's rocks! The food is good and the beer selection is even better. They are the only restaurant in Tallahassee that is making their own beer, and it is good! They always have good commercial beer on tap too!

Hard to do this place justice. Awesome craft beer, made in house. Ask for the Moose and squirrel beer if they have it. Killer pizza with great ingredients and fresh dough that comes out hot and delicious. Plenty of seating inside, two bars, and even patio seating where you can sit and enjoy a slice and flight of beer. Great value on food and beer too. If you order the biggest sized pizza, be prepared because its the size of a manhole cover. Stop here often as I can, this is one of the best local pizza places I've been too.

Got pizza and wings from here for a Super Bowl party, and it was all just amazing. Most delicious pizza and wings I have ever had.

Pizza slices are huge! Fun to order slices versus a while pizza Great fresh toppings Amazing draft beer selection and long list of bottle/can beer Must try food

Things I like: the cheese bread, the salads, especially the big ones, really good service all four times I've been there, extensive beer selection, and the patio. Things I don't like: the pizza. I've ordered pizza twice and the crust has been burnt both times. It's huge and that's fun, but it's just not that great tasting. Overall, the goods outweigh the bads and it's one of my favorite places in town.

Unfortunately management has gone downhill after the death of Donnie. The pizza is good and it can be a nice gathering place when not busy. However, on a Friday evening with a waitlist, the manager on duty tonight was patronizing and rude and clearly could not handle the number of people present.

I have been a regular at this establishment for 8yrs. Normally I come to this restaurant and have to wait for service. I get it, "to cool for school" kids working there yada yada. Food was always solid. Last few times I noticed quality dropping. Ex. They switched from Bradleys smoked sausage to the bulk. Not cool. My last and finial trip to momos I sat at the bar and waited for 20min before l left. No service no money. Keep this up momos and Northside pies will eat you for lunch.

Order a slice... it is an entire meal! I'm sad that the gourmet pizzas don't come in slices through. I had a slice of veggie and ate off of the Philly that the group ordered. WAY TOO MUCH FOOD! The food was tasty, service was just okay (they were dealing with large groups), but it would have been nice to get the food closer together - I didn't get my slice until well after the rest of the food had been brought. The price is also very cheap!

Great, giant slices of pizza! They have a great beer selection that you can pair with your pizza. The only downside is choosing what type of toppings you want...and unfortunately all the good ones are pricier. The serving size seems to cater to the average poor college student, although the place is very kid friendly, and the few times we went, they were pretty much around every corner. Now to figure out why everyone who works here is a college student art major who is dressed like a hipster.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! This is by far one of the best pizza places in all of Florida not just Tallahassee. I am being 100% serious. Service is always great and super friendly. When the weather is nice the patio area is super comfortable with a pitcher of beer and a big pizza it can't be beat. I always schedule a trip here every time I visit Tallahassee.

Great service. Pizza is pretty good at reasonable prices. I also highly recommend the cheese-sticks. The restaurant does get off a sort of hipster/"grungy" vibe but is still family friendly

Really good pizza, but really bad service. 5-stars for food, 1-star for service = 3-stars overall. I've been there probably 20 times, but the frustration of dealing with the crappy servers has made me stop going.

Dinner on Fri night Dec 16 Big slices, funky servers....pizza better than chains for sure. Wide variety of customers ( families, hipsters, older folks, young couples) -which I found interesting. The ovens the used gave the pizza a great flavor. Also, thought the pizza sauce had a unique taste as well , which I liked. Ordered the smoked chicken wings in buffalo sauce. You could definitely taste the smokey flavor -which I really liked. This was a good product, only downside was the size...the chicken wings were more like sparrow wings ( ie..very small). Go for the pizza, just keep in mind, they are huge so order accordingly. I would go back next trip through Tallahasse since this location is right off I-10 it's easy to get to on a trip.

Anyone who has been in Tallahassee for longer than 15 mins knows Momos' reputation for pizza, which is why I am not commenting on their food. What made me happy today was the outstanding device at the bar by Jessica! I have been bartending for 7 years so I know what it feels like for everything to go wrong and tonight was the night for her. The only difference between her and I was that she took it in stride and enjoyed the challenge. She greeted and served me after another bartender was busy and made sure to check up on me every chance she got. In the midst of accommodating me, she was changing kegs, clearing tables, serving tables, and making sure everyone enjoyed their Friday Happy Hour. This is definitely my favorite place to come to after a long week of work.

The food was good, once it finally arrived. Slices are huge, but they messed ujp our orders, insisting one of our party ordered 'X', when everyone clearly heard him order 'Y'. They comped his slice when it finally came out, but our medium sized party (7) had orders delivered seemingly at random. Good beer selection.

  • Peter C.

Excellent place for a pizza and a beer. They have an incredibly huge selection of microbrews, and the pizzas here are the largest I have ever seen in my life. (It was tasty too.) Not much of an atmosphere but the staff was friendly.
