Everyone has a bad night, right? This must have been it. The hostess was nice and quick to seat us. Our waitress said very little but was fast! As for the food...blah. My momma has made much better using Walmart ingredients -- I should add I have been a frequent visitor and order this meal many times before. Usually no problem. This time portions were much smaller and the Mac and cheese was ice cold. The peanuts in the bucket looked more like a peanut trash bin that has been picked over by a hundred people. Like I said....everyone his a bad day, right? This was it. Not sure if I will be back soon . Not the worst but there are lots of other options s.

Good service, good food, fun atmosphere. Lots of screens for sports, but sadly no Sunday ticket at this location. Pretty good for a chain and would recommend over most similar chain restaurants.

We came here with a large, 20+ person party on a Monday night. Evidently this is the 4th or 5th time the organization has booked said event with this restaurant. You would think the management would have things ironed out by now. Nope. The restaurant itself was relatively empty as one would expect on a Monday night at 8:45-9:00. We were ushered into the back room which was blocked off for us. There was ONE waiter working the entire party. It was not even close to being enough to cover the entire room. We asked to order drinks and were told that food was being covered by the event but that alcohol were on our own tabs-rather rudely. Okay, no problem. We've had a long ride and I still want a glass of wine. When the drinks were brought out, they were reached over the table and beers were sloshed over people and onto people. We were later asked to select from a small menu which was covered for us. Me and my friend next to me chose two sides from the menu, and when the salads came out were the only ones left without any. Politely inquiring why we were left out, we were rudely informed that we had picked 2 sides instead of a salad and a side. I didn't know that was supposed to be the way of things. So we sat and watched everybody else eat and waited for entrees. I ordered another glass of wine in the midst of the salad distribution and was told "I don't have my pad on me, I can't remember that or write it down right now". What kind of waiter can't remember and look when you get back to the computer to ring it in? I get it, you have a lot of people in the room. But come on. We finally got entrees after what seems like forever-I ordered tilapia and broccoli and mac and cheese. My girlfriend next to me ordered rice and broccoli to go with her fish. She was not informed that they were out of the rice until AFTER the plates were delivered (and she had to ask). So she could have had the salad after all. She was asked to choose another side on the spot and picked a baked potato, which came out cold. Yum. Nothing we had was particularly tasty but not awful either. The rolls were my favorite part of the meal. What also annoys me is the "auctioning" of food-when waiters yell out "who had the tilapia and broccoli?" rather than remembering who had what or writing it on their pad, and handing hot plates across the table. Again, things got spilled. When it came time to settle the checks, I saw they charged me and served me the wrong glass of wine, I'm glad I didn't get that second after all. It was very apparent when he was handing out receipts that he was fishing for tips at that point because then he was very nice. In my honest opinion management should have been stepping up to help clear tables, take orders, bring out plates. Nothing. Especially when there was nobody in the restaurant. Very disappointed. Luckily I don't live in Tallahassee nor frequent this type of place.

I love coming here for dinner on the weekends. They have the best flavored teas! I always get the mango flavored tea, bourbon salmon with the grilled mushrooms and, of course, they have their yummy yeast rolls. Excellent place to eat!

Worst meal ever. Ribeye was just fat and ends from prime rib and was sent back. Shrimp (prawns) were tough and tasted old. Will never return.

I actually enjoy coming here when I go to Tallahassee. Of course it's a college town with 90% of their wait staff ranging in their 20's. I enjoy the service and rolls of course. My sister had her 21st birthday lunch her, and it was very memorable.

The food is really good. Unfortunately we sat in the bar area and had terrible service.

Visited here a couple of days ago and it did not disappoint! Logan's has always had quality service and has always been clean and delicious. This establishment has great location, and provides a great meal after a day of shopping at the nearby Governor's Square Mall. Waitress was however a little pushy and made the meal feel a little rushed which I is why I took away a star. Otherwise, this Logan's is perfection!

I have come here many times in the past. Those golden rolls and the sweet butter keep me coming back. This time I went for lunch and was highly disappointed. My fault I guess, I went here on St. Patricks Day. I was trying to avoid long waits but they found me. This was strange because I could count 3 tables being served at 4pm. First the door has three chatty servers - chatting. It took (seconds) too long for them to notice that I was waiting for someone to take my order. Off bat I decide this would be a to go order: Meatloaf, broccoli, loaded mashed potatoes. I'm thinking - meatloaf can;t be made to order and everything else should take maybe 5minutes. Well 30 minutes later I receive my food?!? So for 30 minutes I listen to 3 chatty chicks discuss every patron that had already came in during their shift, one employee being a hoe, and every so often they would ask each other "how long as she been here?" But NONE ever approach the kitchen about the wait or explained to me what was taking so long. Get back to work late and finally get to look at my food. No clue why everything is wrapped in aluminum foil? My salty meatloaf was wrapped, my undercooked baked potato was wrapped, and my over cooked and greasy steamed broccoli was wrapped in foil? I have no way to explain that C- service and quality of food that I received because I know they are NORMALLY much better then this. But it was bad enough that I have no need to return.

i actually ended up here because i confused it with restaurant next door (miller's). sh/have known bar didn't look familiar, but i'd only been to miller's once. limited draft beers, did have bottled blue moon, newcastle. menu is very "steak house chain" type...lots of beef. i had wings which were good, and 2 beers..total w.tip os $22. service was good, bartender attentive, lots of TV screens. if i was in the neighborhood i'd go next door though, it's nothing special, more of the same. happy trails.

Everything was very good and the price for the amount of food was excellent.

We had a party of seven on a Sunday evening. We were seated quickly. The waitress was pleasant and took our orders without much trouble. The wait for our food seemed a bit longer than usual, but it was a larger party, so that may have been the issue. The food was good. I polled the group and everyone was satisfied with their dinner, which consisted of: filet mignon, meatloaf, Logan's grilled chicken, a burger, kid's mac and cheese, and salads. I go here maybe three times a year and have not been disappointed.

The deliciousness of the burger took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting much other than a serviceable beef-centric affordable meal during my visit to Logan's. I left much happier than when I came in. The two Jack & Cokes probably helped too... This is very reminiscent of another (the same?) old chain that was called simply "The Roadhouse." They had a steak called "The Roadie." Never has a cheap piece of sirloin been dressed up so well. In any case, whatever its corporate origins, Logan's does not share a menu with that other chain. They do share the practice of serving roasted peanuts as an appetizer in a metal bucket. Yeah, it's one of those place. The OCD among us will yet again be on the verge of panic as we cry out in frustration at why we were not provided a bucket for shells! The peanuts, are, of course, good and a terrible way to fill yourself by absently cracking and eating them while chatting. Our server was very friendly and efficient. He knew what he was doing, checked on us frequently, and all around was a professional young man. Bravo. The menu mostly consists of pricey steaks, with some cheaper cuts mixed in. There are also a few salads and chicken dishes. I am budget-conscious (i.e. cheapskate) so not wanting to spend $25 on a steak nor $14 on a sirloin "steak" I opted for the burger. As I recall, this isn't a complicated decision as it is at, say, Ted's Montana Grill. There seemed to be only one main burger. I think it was called something like "The Roadhouse Burger" (go figure) and came in at around $8.50. When the burger came out it was nice and big (around 3/4lb is my guess) and had a big portion of fries that were good and crispy, if not very memorable. The burger had bacon and cheese on top, with toppings of lettuce, tomato, and pickle off on the side. Finally, I will mention that dessert might should be an option here. One of my fellow diners had a piece and let me try it. VERY good, though probably frozen. One of those nice big Olive Garden pieces of sugared goodness. All-in-all, Logan's is nothing to write home about, BUT it is very solid for a low-end steakhouse and I personally would choose it over the adjacent Miller's Ale House (check out my Yelp review) any day.

I've been to Logans several times now - dinner and lunch. This is the type of place where people throw peanut hulls on the floor. (that is nasty) What prevents me from going there - besides some of the food- is the service. Having a limited time during lunch, most restaurants around the state buildings try to be timely. Don't go in and expect to be out in 45 minutes. (have to allow for back and forth travel time.) The hamburger buns were horrible, tasting like they had been left out overnight. The sweet potatoes were way overdone (at noon) which tells me that they too may have been left over from the night before. Fries were limp and cold for two people, hot and crispy for the third. My chopped steak was overdone and the onions/mushroom mix at a dollar more was overpriced. The salads were fresh, with iceberg lettuce, onions, tomato and croutons. The manager was nice and gave us $5 Logans bucks for a future visit. I passed mine along to someone that will use it. I won't be needing it.

I have eaten at many Logan's around the country. The food is decent for the price. Service has never been their strong suit but this one has about the worst service of all that I have experienced. Location is close to FSU and FAMU campuses. most the staff appear to be students. Maybe it is better if you go earlier in the evening. By 9 P.M., you are getting rushed out the door while the wait staff chatters about where the party is tonight. Also, if you sit in the bar area and do not order alcohol with your dinner, do not expect attentive service. Probably good for students looking to party with their Friends until they get off work but not recommended for grownups.

For my 200 th review this place is well deserved. Almost every state I have lived in has this chain of restaurants. For many years this restaurant has served me well. Very casual, with a laid back atmosphere. This is by far the best restaurant in Talley, for the price, service, and great food. This was our fourth visit to this location. So sad we do not have one in South Florida anymore. (closed down). You walk in and there are buckets of peanuts at each table. Great for snacking on then you throw them on the floor. Feel sorry for whoever has to clean that mess every night. They have an open kitchen where you see them preparing your food. T.V.'s in the bar area. The waitress comes over gets our drink order....yay after 9 p.m. 24 oz. draft beer for $2.99, yep we decide to drink beer. Their cocktail list is good with their speicalty drinks like the "Roadhouse Tea" careful they will sneak up on you...... Then they bring warm slightly buttered yeast rolls......Let me tell ya, these rolls are the BEST! Very addicting you can not stop eating them. Fresh out of the oven, moist, and oh melts in your mouth. All of us ladies decide to order different salads. Their salads are so good and fresh. I ordered the "Everything and Anything Salad" which consisted of romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, cranberries, walnuts, goat cheese, hard boiled egg, bacon, with balsamic vinaigrette. dressing. This salad rocks.....well they all do. Hubby ordered a 16 oz. T-Bone, hand cut from aged, Midwestern, grain-fed Black Angus Beef, cooked perfectly. I tried it and it was juicy with lots of flavor, with an excellent baked potato. Service is friendly, managers stop at each table to check and see if everything is good. Fun atmosphere, loud music playing, people just enjoying themselves, eating great food........ rustic yet so much fun!!! They offer seafood, very tasty burgers, and chicken dishes also. Not quite a five star, maybe next time.......our server did disappear on us a few times......

We eat here from time to time, but lately it just seems the place is going downhill. Their ribs are twice the price of other places in town, and the prime rib I had last Friday evening was more fat and grizzle than steak. Their rolls are still really good, but we'll probably go elsewhere in the future for steak. And frankly, why should I pay for a mediocre steak from Roadhouse, when I can buy my own meat, and cook it better on the grill at home for much less money? Factor in service that is only so-so and unexciting, and you have the ingredients of going somewhere else, or cooking it yourself. My wife did like the broccoli here a lot, but we're not eating at Roadhouse just to get broccoli.

You know what to expect at Logan's locations, & this place is par for the course. Good peanuts. Loud atmosphere. Fairly good service. Average, but consistent food. Overall OK.

Pretty good. They were out of what we ordered but substituted a more expensive steak and even gave us a discount. Now THAT is customer service.

Anyone who has lived in a college town in the South knows the drill for Fall Saturdays: Do your feasting at your home or tailgate, or go early to the good dining spots, or (like us) find a place not too crowded to ensure you get to game for kick off! They had the least cars in the parking lot (sounds ominous) so Logan's it is. The joint was maybe a quarter full (not a good sign)but the hostess gave us a good seats between several TVs and we had a server and menus in short order. We kept it simple: order of cajun wings, two small ribeyes, baked potatoes and salad for me and broccoli for my Seminole son. Wings and rolls came out in reasonable time. Rolls great (another basket please), wings, OK, which matched our expectations. Salad was from a bag, but fresh. Dressing from a bottle, but adequate. Food came promptly and was served hot. My son had a boatload of broccoli that was steamed to perfection, likewise the taters were soft without being mushy. The steaks were a different matter. Roadhouse is an apt term for them. They were cut from an animal that had obviously been ridden hard and put up wet. Both our steaks were laced with gristle and fat, but since I didn't expect to get a top shelf ribeye at Logan's, no big deal. At least they were cooked to the right color and temperture. Outside of the steaks, the food was adequate to good, service great, and we made it to the game for kick off, so no harm, no foul.

Well the 6 oz filet and lobster tails wasn't short on flavor, but the portions weren't anything like they advertised on their menu. My steak was cooked perfect, rare hot pink and juicy, but it definitely was not 6 ounces. The lobster tails had good flavor but was overcooked, making them a little on the dry side and seemingly smaller as opposed to plump and juicy. The tails were plated on what seemed like just a heaping tablespoon of seasoned rice, which was more like an insult rather than a compliment, but I guess the 2 cups of mashed potatoes with gravy made up for it. I did like the veggie skewer with no qualms, I liked how they used shallots instead of typical onions, they were sweet and the first bite had a gentle crisp followed by a nice burst of juicy goodness... which was what I was expecting to experience with my lobster tails.

As you can see from the pictures people have posted, they don't actually do anything to the ingredients except cook them. The steaks have no seasoning. The broccoli is just steamed. Not even butter or salt. Flavorless food. IHOP is better. I wanted to like this place, because my name is Logan. But there's nothing good about this place. It's a big waste of money, for the most boring food you'll ever put in your mouth. I was about to say "the most boring food you've ever tasted," but there's really not much to "taste" here.
