My family and I just had lunch at "Gordos" and it was delicious! We are Cubans from Miami and this is as good as any establishment in Miami and Hialeah! Great seasoning and portions! The prices are very reasonable and service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back! Thanks Gordos!

Good food and very reasonably priced. The service was decent however, the tables/floor were a bit dirty and they gave plastic forks/spoons instead of metal which doesn't look good regardless of the food prices.

Pan con lechon sandwich was great! Bread was toased and the pork was very tasty. Lechon asado dinner with congri (red rice and beans) and maduros (fried plantains) was very good as well. Pork was cooked perfectly. A ton of food for the price. The chicken in the empanada was outstanding.

gordo's is my happy place. part of it is the nostalgia of my 4 amazing years spent in tallahassee. part of it is that the food is delicious. while it's true that you can get superior cuban food if you venture further south in the state of florida - the food at gordo's is definitely passable. and it beats the pants off of the cuban food up north. i dream about the masitas de puerco - and my bff who only visited tallahassee once (and only tasted the amazingness-in-your-mouth that is gordo's, once) dreams about their cuban sammies. i also miss the mango iced tea, plantains, and gordo's sauce on the delicious crusty bread. i miss the outdoor patio, the tiny parking lot, the beer buckets, the tiny interior, and the sassy waitstaff. i miss afternoons spent skipping class on the porch with my bff adam. haters be gone. you're sitting in our spot.

While I don't live in Tally any more (grew up there) I still crave a media noche from Gordo's from time to time. I was never crazy about the house sauce, but between the pork, beans, plantains, and the mango tea there's more than enough to love.

Ordered the turkey cuban, and all it was was a bland turkey sandwich. Coming from the Tampa Bay area, I guess I just am used to real Cuban food. Although I read this isn't authentic, I thought the turkey thing would be a little more creative.

Best thing about Gordo's is being on their outside deck on a beautiful day. The Cuban food is nothing special. They do a decent job of making your favorites: Cuban Sandwich, Media Noche, Ropa Vieja, Arroz Con Pollo. None of it is spectacular and if you've tasted the real thing in South Florida you will be disappointed.

  • Patty G.

    Not real Cuban food.

  • Nicole C.

3 1/2 food, however slow ass service, no matter how far ahead you call in your order, and how empty it is when you get inside. This is not Miami Cuban food, so don't go in there with any pretenses like that, and you won't be hugely disappointed. It is IMO the best Cuban food spot in Tallahassee. I just really wish the wait staff would stop insulting me by staring at me as I walk in while their lazy asses have a drink at the bar, EVERY TIME. There's no one else. Greet me like you want some money.

Went once and it was great, went another time and it was 3/10. Don't know what the difference was. The plantains were good.

Love this place! Plenty of outdoor seating, friendly servers, food is a great price. I highly recommend the empanatas; they're delicious! Food is tasty and fresh. I'll be here again!

By far one of the most disappointing restaurants in town First off, it's hot and smells bad. They need to serve $10 mix drinks so you can get drunk and tolerate the place The bartender had zero personality and couldn't care less about my group We ordered the "Cuban" sandwich which tastes like something so bad I wouldn't call it "Cuban" Bathrooms are dirty too!

One of my favorite spots when I was in college, for the cuban sandwich and the gordo smash (huge, sweet alcoholic beverage that you only need 1 of). The cuban sandwich was one of my favorites, until I realized what a Cuban sandwich was really supposed to taste like in my later years. However, a staple for FSU students - great location, close to the stadium.

This is a College Hangout and eatery. You come here cause it is close to the college and the food is pretty cheap. I mean you fill your belly with cheap liquor and then try to sober up with a greasy sandwich. We tried them for a late lunch and the Cuban was all right but not a real Cuban. I mean it was mostly processed meats and some jarred pickles and mustard slung in. Then pressed and served. I'm a real meat kind of guy so I want a hunk of meat cooked up right and sliced or chopped up the way a Cuban is suppose to be. I want some real pickles cut on the bias and laid out on the sandwich. I know tis is a working lunch and it did the trick. Will I be back or eat from here again. Probably cause one of the bosses like this place. For me I'll go around to the other side of the college and eat at a truck if you want a really good Kuban. O k

Food, too dry. Not tasty. Service, not good, not profefessial. Seating area to conjested. I would not recommend this place. Needs much inprovement.

  • Christopher P.

Average, but the party college serves who don't care bring it down to a barely pass. Sandwich lacks meat #where'sthebeef. It's small, and for the price it should come with fries. And after paying with cash my server didn't give me the three cents since my bill ended in .97 but he also shorted me out of a dollar as well after he pretended to count it in front of me. I counted it three times and my date counted it twice, he shorted me $1.03. Oh and the fries were way too salty.

This place is okay, it's cheap and has a lot of the traditional dishes. It's not the best I've had but it did its job. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to try this place but if your on a budget this is a good place to go. The food I tried were the empanadas which are okay, chicken is the best one. The Cuban sandwich, it's aight but decent enough. Tried the roasted pork off my wife's plate which needed more seasoning. The mango tea is good. They have the neon stereotypical Floridian restaurant color scheme, the hot pink, electric green, yellow, and any other color that also highlighters typically come in. Few Palm trees somehow worked into the interior, and of coarse a bucket on the table. I've seen this style in so many restaurants, does it have a name? Overall this is a college hangout by the looks, not a traditional Cuban restaurant with the lovely music and vibes.

We ate here after graduation for my nephew the food was extremely good only downfall was they ran out of breaded steak which was kind of weird. I don't live up here so I probably won't be back but if I did come back I would come to eat here again I do recommend the place and think you could have a good meal at a decent price

  • Kate M.

Went for the first time recently, ordered mahi fingers and ham croquettes. It's a cute restaurant, nice looking menu with a lot of options, friendly staff and cheap prices. Food came out quickly and was alright. Fish was kinda bland but the fries & Gordo sauce were killer. It's a great place for a quick lunch when you're not trying to spend a bunch.

  • Chelsea C.

Whoever is reviewing them positively has never had real Cuban food. As a Cuban I can't even believe this is considered Cuban cuisine. The beans taste like they came out of a can. I seriously could cook better beans. There are not enough spices in any of the food I ordered. Not to mention the tostones are soggy and tasteless.

  • Jake W.

Gordo's is a staple if you're a student at FSU. The food is not always the most authentic Cuban food, but it's hard to expect that in Tallahassee. If you come, I recommend requesting that your food be served with Gordo's sauce (their version of special sauce), which I know few people to be disappointed with. I'd put this in the same category as Po Boys (although Po Boys has sadly declined over the years), with a relaxed, no super-clean atmosphere. Drinks are usually fairly cheap. As this has a deck and ample outdoor and porch seating, it's a great place to come for happy hour. Note that, especially with a bigger group, food can take a while here, so it's not always the best bet for a quick lunch.

  • Gerry B.

This place is not good at all... I asked for the Cuban Burger and for starters they don't cook it to order. I wanted mine rare and was told they only cook it one way. I then asked how they cook it and they said medium. I went ahead and had it anyway. The burger was extremely well done and had no taste.. It was literally a block of chuck beef with no seasoning. I understand this is a college town and the food isn't going to be the best. However, I've been to other college towns where the food has been MUCH better.

The wife was introduced to Gordo's when visiting her sister at college. Years later we were driving through and found it again. Palomilla is delicious with nice flavor. Black beans taste like the ones mom makes. Saw reviews about flan- ordered one to share ( note to self: next time get your own) it was creamy and delicious!! Worth the detour from the interstate...

  • Amanda A.

If you are a college student and haven't been to Gordos you are doing something wrong ... Their gordo sauce with fries is AMAZING! I would put that on everything .. They even have some outside seating which is great when the weather is nice . The staff is friendly and you can't go wrong with any dish ! Oh and the prices are affordable for every college kid !

    (5)
  • Brian E.

Excellent food. Their service can sometimes be lacking but the food is usually worth it.

    (4)
  • Catalina M.

Their black been empanadas are fantastic. Not too greasy and very flavorful. I wasn't a fan of their Mahi mahi fish fingers. I ended up throwing them away. Their fries were good and plentiful!

    (3)
  • Alex G.

This is an FSU staple - the food is always good (not great) but the service can be hit or miss. Definitely don't go during peak hours, it can take a while to get your drinks and food.

This is a "go-to" destination on Pensacola St., catering not only to the college scene, but to the area at large. Indoor and outdoor, adult AND family, Gordo's on Pensacola provides all the Cuban "classics" in generous portions. Service is solid. I'm a fan of the lechon, and it's never disappointed me. Recently, I checked out Eddie's new operation up in Market Square - but I'll save my comments for THAT venue's yelp-site!

    (4)
  • Helen C.

I feel like this place is more of a place to go drink than for the food. But I gotta say huge portions like classic cuban food back home in Miami, but not all that tasty, at least to my personal pallet. But I know a lot of people like this place so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing?

    (3)
  • Jessica B.

Kitchen is always backed up, and it just doesn't taste like authentic Cuban. Your best bet is Latin Xpress (down the street) for some real delicious Cuban food! Only plus Gordo's has is the Gordo's sauce, yuuuum!

    (3)
  • Morgan C.

I used to go here all the time when I went to FSU. It is cheap but authentic Cuban food. If you go you MUST get a Gordo's Smash to drink, it is over 10 different alcohols deliciously mixed together, a must for a hot game day, and trust me you will only need one of them before you feel it. The beans and rice are as good as it gets. It is also a good place to take parents on a game day for a bite to eat, but be prepared because it will be a wait. The staff is never in a hurry and aren't the friendliest but they do have to consistently deal with college kids who aren't the nicest.

Great food and a great price! Perfect cheap date night with great food I love the Mahi fingers and the BBQ bacon cheese burger

Great Cuban food with friendly service. Our server treated us wonderfully even with two active kids.

Decent chicken philly... would probably try something else next time. Takeout order was ready before I arrived (within 10 mins).

While the food was very good, I was very disappointed in the service that I received earlier today during lunch. Although our server was quick to bring our drinks and take our food order, that was the end of our great service. A table that had sat down behind us about 10 min after we got there received their food first, and we weren't the only hungry people to notice that. Our food took 30 minutes to come out (one dish was a plain salad, the other a simple sandwich) and not once in that 30 minutes did our server come by to apologize for how long the food was taking or check and see if we needed refills. Even after the food came, she did not come by to check on us and make sure everything had come out ok or see if we needed refills, a box, or our check until about another 15 min. had passed, despite the fact we had put our card on the table as soon as the food came out to indicate we were in a hurry. We finally had to flag her down the rare occasion we saw her come by and ask her to bring our check, and I still had to ask her about getting a refill. Great food, but not really worth it for the terrible service. Such a shame.

This place is the best!! It is almost worth the drive from Atlanta to sit on this patio. One of the best spots in Tallahassee. The seasoned fries, yuca, and any pork plate are rock solid. What is going on with the Gordo's sauce? It is illegally delicious. I believe cardboard may be edible with enough of it. I love when I was told ten years ago while in college that they removed their keg taps and switched to all bottles and cans of beer because it was constantly coming up missing. That's the only way to solve that one! I think they've cranked the kegs up again since then. Go Noles!!!

  • Christopher J.

I had one the best pork barbecue sandwiches of my life at Gordos. They call it pan con lechon. the yucca fries are awesome. Service good, not great and the ballyooed mango tea was average. Cuban coffee was are revelation!

  • Kay R.

The food was good, but not as good as my first visit. Ordering was a challenge. When we told the waitress we need a few more minutes, I never dreamed it would be 20! We had to flag her down after waiting for her to finish washing the walls in the hallway. My daughter got a cuban and I ordered the Gordita , then she and I swapped halves. Her half of the Cuban was very sparse and my half of the Gordita was only half covered. Fortunately, the bread is very good. It may be nitpicky, but I like my fillings distributed fairly evenly over my sandwich - not loaded on one end and nothing on the other. The waitress did offer us to go refills and lids before we left.

I was new to Tallahassee and Florida in general back in 2011, so I had no real clue as to what Cuban food was. I've been told there is better Cuban food, but all can say is that if this is bad Cuban food then I must be content to remain blissfully unaware. This is really good stuff. It's fantastic food for a decent price.

Growing up in South Florida will spoil you when it comes to Cuban food. I've always managed to enjoy plenty of vegan/vegetarian meals when in this setting-- in fact Cuban food remains one of my favorite types. Why, Gordo's, does your veggie cuban have to be so monotonous?! I'm sorry, I've said something before and nothings gotten better. The beans, yum! The rice, perfect. Maduros, croquetas, papas rellenas, all amazing! It's the shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on toasted Cuban bread that makes me question your legitimacy. Please work on that, because otherwise your food is a nice taste of home.

  • Ari W.

Atmosphere is casual & cool, a good hang-out place. Food is great, but like all the good things that takes time, the service is on the slow side, make sure you are not in a hurry when you go. Overall, a great place. I recommend you try the following: 1. Mango tea- hint of mango in your southern sweet tea 2. Tostones- crispy, sweet, but salty 3. Masitas de Puerco- slowed cooked pork, a comfort food 4. Gordo Fries- great seasoning

    (4)
  • John C.

I was a big fan of this place back in college. But after 15 years or so, oftentimes your tastes can change. What was once so great can sadly evolve into something so average -- Po' Boys, for example, is terrible these days and I have no idea why I liked it so much back when Clinton as in office. But Gordo's always satisfies, whether it's a simple Cuban sandwich or one of their chicken-and-rice dishes. Always get a side of sweet plantains, and be sure to put hot sauce on your fries, too.

    (4)
  • Emily P.

This was my first time to try Cuban food, so I'm no expert, but I am an expert on great tasting food. Everything we sampled was delicious! I had the Masitas de Puerco and it was perfectly seasoned.....everything was just amazing. I love it that everything is served with onion and lime as that's really all you need to give a dish that extra kick. I tasted a few other dishes and loved all of them. If I lived in Tallahassee, I'd eat here regularly, for sure! I love the Gordo sauce...it's like ranch with a kick...love it.

    (4)
  • Andrea T.

Fries are not great... But the Cuban on the sweet bread is wonderful!!!!

    (3)
  • Mary B.

Not authentic, but simply AMAZING! They make so many different kinds of Cuban sandwiches, all with a lovely American twist. Their fries are yummy, and their Gordo's dipping sauce is a perfect accent to anything on the menu. All their meals are very generous and they fill you up! They recently did a huge makeover and the place looks great! The atmosphere is great for right next to campus, and I've been going there since I was really young, my whole family loves it! Everyone should try Gordo's once, trust me, you won't regret it at all! (and make sure you get a soft drink, they come in a HUGE take-home cup that are really cool)

  • Charlie K.

Mmmmmmmm.... Gordo's....... For the haters, just stop. It might not be what you consider 'authentic' but it's damn good, chill out on being elitist and enjoy. I went to Gordos at least once every two months or so throughout my 3 years in Tallahassee and enjoyed the food every time I went. Gordo's fries + Gordo's sauce = heaven. I usually get the Media Noche sandwich and split an order of fries with someone. I haven't really branched out much from my usual here (since this was my only option for Cuban style food I wanted to get my favorite Cuban sandwich each time) but you'll be fine with any of the sandwiches you order. "But Charlie, why only three stars?" you might be thinking. Well, I say this because of the service. It's rare that I've had a server be attentive, quick, and/or even remember what I've ordered to eat or drink. It's hard to tell if they're understaffed or just poorly trained here but in any case, it needs work. Go with friends, have fun, but don't be in a hurry and enjoy the food.

  • Beau B.

I was traveling and asked one of the locals where I could get a nice dinner inexpensively. Gordo's was recommended. The service was great, I sat at the bar and the food was fast. The bartender was helpful with the menu selections. I noticed a few college kids hanging out and having a few drinks, but nothing rowdy.

  • Jennifer S.

My experience here was rather good. After having horrible pollo ala plancha all over town, I went here with my new boss. I was told that it was a horrible place, but this particular dish was prepared well. It was marinated with mojo and very tender. My boss was not happy with his meal, so it probably is a hit or miss kinds place near FSU.

    (3)
  • Christina H.

Good Cuban Restaurant: Food was good. It's Miami style cuban food (which is a little bland and tasteless when compared to the regional variety of Cuban food one would get in the Tampa Bay area). But it does has a nice patio outside.

    (4)
  • Katie N.

I've been to Gordo's a handful of times at this point, and I've come away rather pleased with each experience. The food has a pleasantly authentic feel (keep in mind, I've never been to Cuba, so this statement should be taken with a grain of salt), but there are enough options to please both the veteran diner and their less adventurous counterparts. Some of the high points include items like the signature El Gordo sandwich, which is filled to bursting with delicious ham, turkey, bacon and melted swiss, the maduros (fried ripe plantains), and the seasoned fries. There are a few drawbacks to be aware of. Service is often slow - there have been visits where I've had to seek out our server more than once in the same sitting. Additionally, while most of the meals are moderately priced, some of the dishes don't contain features that most American diners have come to expect. For instance, the delicious seasoned fries I spoke of come with most of the entrees, but they are not included with any of the sandwiches. These sandwiches make up the larger part of the menu, so this particular move might seem a bit strange. At the same time, if you're dining in a group, the side/appetizer order of fries is large enough to accommodate the needs of at least 2-3 people. Parking can also be a bit limited, though an additional gravel lot can be found extending off the main one if you look for it. On the whole, Gordo's isn't a bad place for a bite. The porch area is a nice place to spend a Summer evening with a beer and a pork sandwich, and the food is tasty enough to keep me coming back. Just be prepared to flag down your server if you're in a hurry.

  • Kenneth M.

I like the food here. I generally get the Picadillo, arroz con pollo, or a cuban sandwich and it's usually good. Service is spotty at times. The last night I was there the server carried our straws to the table in her arm pit, which is gross. What made it worse was that she was wearing a tank top lol. However the food is still ok and worth going.

    (3)
  • Whitnae P.

Its not AUTHENTIC cuban food, but if you ignore that, its pretty good. You have to order the right things when you go there and don't expect it to live up to anything from Miami or South Florida. Food in Tally is sub-par this is nothing new. As far as the Black Bean being better: false. At least the food here is moist and has some flavor. BUT: I am pleased usually when I leave. I like their sides ALOT. On a side note, the wait staff are idiots. They lie when you ask them questions. Especially regarding if certain items have bacon in them.

I love Gordo's!! Used to live here! Great apps, great plantains, best flan!!! I miss this place!!!

It's really quite a shame that I am compelled to write a review such-as this, about a locally-owned business, however it's better to expose the truth than it is to "sugar coat" a number of bad experiences. The food is decent - it really is good. The sad part about this establishment is the service (or lack there-of). Almost every time I have been here the servers have just been terrible. They are slow to provide you with menus, slow to clean the tables. They have walked right by me and my party a countless number of times while we sat there with empty drinks. I am not even talking about a large party - This has happened with myself in a party of two and a party of four. Recently, my party and I waited for 20 minutes - at a very dirty table (it was the only one available!). The waitress walked-by us 4 times and did not so much as acknowledge our presence. A simple, "I'm sorry about the wait - someone will be right with you", would be the polite and professional way to handle this situation. We were tired of waiting and ended up walking out of the restaurant. If you enjoy being ignored, with an empty drink cup staring you in the face than you should come here. The young servers are also very rude.....Attitude, attitude, attitude. Clean up your act, Gordo's, and learn to treat your customers with respect. Shame on you - You give local businesses a very bad name.

  • Darlene R.

Food was good. Service was good. Price was good. So why only 1 star? Well, when we walked up, the bartender was playing with a puppy! I'm not kidding people. She was standing behind the counter, holding a real live puppy in her arms. I love dogs, but that was the grossest thing I've ever seen at a restaurant. So no drinks for us that day, just regular soda. Also, the flooring in that place has got to be a code violation. It's all wood planks and they creak and shift when you walk on them. The stairs leading into the second dining area are tiny, no rail, and the wood creaks and dips. And in case you're wondering, No I am not overweight. Lol. The floors are just unsafe. The entire structure is awkward, from the strange entrance (or is it a platform stage?) to the cramped parking lot. I won't be back.

  • Jeffrey T.

The waiters have been the best even with a packed house quickly greeted when I choose a area I would like, then I normally get the drink special last time it was a Corona bucket. The food is great, I wouldn't say REAL AUTHENTIC Cuban food but good non the less, I always enjoy what I get here! Only thing have to say in the negative side of the establishment is the portion of the sandwiches!

  • Sam P.

Food is great but the sevice is consistently terrible. Waitresses act like a bunch of real assholes.

Amazing as always! Eddie & his staff definitely deliver heaven on Cuban loaf... Yum yum!

  • Ashley H.

I'm a Cuban girl from South Florida, and I have to say...this is really crappy Cuban food. Was I expecting the kind of Cuban food I can get in Miami? No. But when they make such a big deal out of having Cuban chefs, you'd think it would be better. However, we know that being Cuban does not mean you make good Cuban food. Case in point: my two meals at Gordo's. The last time I went there, my food took FOREVER and it was burnt. The prices are good, but that's about all I can say for the place. Those who have never experienced real Cuban food might find this a better experience than I did.

    (2)
  • Andrea B.

I'd walk 1,000 miles for a "la gordita". If only they sold their Gordos sauce... I'd buy a gallon or two and put it on everything. Service has always been kind of slow and on game days it gets really packed so expect a super long wait.

  • Kelly R.

I've only been to Gordo's twice, but both times I left pretty unimpressed. We arrived at 6:45PM, there was plenty of seating because it's spring break and the students aren't in town. It was nearly 7 before our drink order was taken, even tho there were lots of empty tables. We got the fried Yuca fritters, which were very tasty. I could have eaten 3 baskets of those things. I should have, because my food was terrible. I understand Gordo's is a "Cuban" restaurant, but I felt like a burger. The description states "all sandwiches served on pressed cuban bread." That's one reason I ordered it. The hamburger came out 20 or so minutes after ordering on a stale cold bun. The fries were slighly cold as well, and undercooked. The bun was very thick and on it's last days...it was too hard to eat and not because it was toasted. I asked for mayo and the server gave me a crazy look and said "there's Gordo's sauce on there!" I told her that I realized that, but I would still like mayo. She said "well the Gordo's sauce is made with mayo" (so shouldn't there be some in the back??!!). I gave up on the mayo. I looked at the bottom of the burger and it was slathered in mustard which had soaked into the stale bun. No where under the description was there any mention of mustard. I despise mustard. I didn't eat my food. I did take the fries home and crisped them in the oven and added salt, they were much better then. Perhaps I will try a cuban sandwich next time, but not another burger. EDIT: As you can see from my picture, I did try Gordo's again. I ordered a pressed pork sandwich that came with an ANT grilled into the bread. When I took it back the owner basically called me a liar and said that the sandwich didn't come from his kitchen. Lame!

Great outdoor patio. Food was great! Empanadas and mahi strips is the way to go! If you love Cuban food, or have never tried it give this place a shot. You want have to drop a wad either prices are very reasonable.

Ugh. Although it gives me some sense of recompense to write a bad review for a place, I'd MUCH rather have good food. We definitely didn't get that at Gordo's. We understand that sometimes restaurants have off nights and off dishes, but everything...EVERYTHING we got was bad. The rice in the beans and rice was undercooked and crunchy (last time I checked, crunchy rice works in Persian cuisine, not so much in Cuban cuisine). My skirt steak was overcooked, dry and super bland, but my girlfriend's pork sandwich was so salty that neither of us could get through a quarter of it. And the savory plantains weren't so savory - they were overcooked and dry. I wish I could have my $20 back. I'd treat myself to something better. Maybe some day old Chicken McNuggets. PS: It's kinda grimy and disorganized too.

MMMMMMMMMMMM I LOVE GORDOS. gordos is one of my favorite places to stop off and eat at in tallahassee. i lived there growing up for years. and even went to college there too. i became very very fond of this place. love the food, love the feel, LOVE THE TEA... lol.. MANGO TEA. ok so the service at gordos is always exceptional. the wait staff is composed of pretty much all college women. so they are not hard on the eyes as well as being very friendly. the food... MMMM the food.. i love pretty much everything at gordos i have ever had. and having lived in town for many years i have tried a lot of there stuff... my fav. app is deff. the pappa rellano aka (papa)... mmmmm deep fried potato ball with groud beef in the middle.. yum yummmm. and honestly they have tons of great entrees and sandwiches but i 80% of the time go with the classic cuban sandwich.. LOVE it. Also they have really great fries. there thinly cut and seasoned magnificently. oh and then there is the TEA. ughhh if noting else and u dont like cuban food get some MANGO TEA. its soooo good and a must have. a trip to gordos would not be complete without it. and to those who say they have had better cuban food.. ehhh w/e... they dont claim to be authentic classic cuban last i checked. I now live in ATL and i have to say i miss gordos daily. and every single time without a doubt if im in tally im stopping at gordos for some food. Over all i deff give gordos the full 5 stars if there were 6 hey would get that... EVERYONE should try it.

fairly cheap and always a lot of fun. gordos seems to be the go-to for cuban cuisine in tallahassee. haven't tried any of their entrees but their sandwiches and fries keep me coming back for more.

This is an FSU landmark. Always a great atmosphere with plenty of college students eating. The wait staff is easy on the eyes too. I've had the cuban sandwich and burgers before. For being a cuban place the burgers were way better in my opinion. Also, the prices are easy on the wallet. Definitley a great place to kick back grab a brew and a bite to eat.

Owner is friendly. Great signature sauce on wraps. Fries are big enough to share!
