Came here Saturday night. Service was horrible. It took over an hour to get a morsel of food. Cutlery was missing waters were not refilled and some dishes didn't even make it out. The food that made it out was good. Oh and the air was turned off mid August in south Florida real smart

Regretted going! I'm 7 months pregnant and the waiter was so rude we had to leave without eating. My husband and I went there for dinner, asked for a booth he would accommodate and wanted us to sit in a plastic chair. We pointed out an empty booth for two and he rolled his eyes and said... Sure.... Then he took 15 minutes to even get us silverware. We asked for bread, never came. We asked about for suggestions on pizza he said whichever..... Finally we ordered a pizza and he said he could not serve only a pizza we needed to order more or he would not serve us. We told him we would leave he said ok. TERRIBLE Service, rude, unkind. Don't go there.

Excellent kosher Italian dairy restaurant. Service was very good and fast, food is excellent. They have a handful of homemade pastas which are great. The fish and pizza also excellent. A bit pricey but also a nicer atmosphere which makes it worthwhile.

The pizza was a quite good thin crust. The caprese was, without a doubt, the worst I have ever had. Take an unripe chain grocery store tomato, add rock hard mozerella, and no basil and there you go. Last time I went to Italy there was also a drink menu that didn't include only bud light and and house Chardonnay. The service was mediocre at best. The two stars is only for their pizza. And they charged 18% tip for my husband and I which I didn't notice until after we left (policy being party of more than 5). Wouldn't go back!

My wife and I have eaten here at least a dozen times over the last 10 years. We love the food the service during dinner has been usually pathetic. I spent many years traveling the world and spend considerable amount time in France. And I have to say that this restaurant is tried-and-true French all the way down to the service. So if you're not in a hurry and you want really good food try it. During our last two trips to Florida they have been open for lunch. This is a completely different experience, they are not as busy and their lunch crew is much more attentive to service, and you get the good food along with it. My favorite is the Caesar salad and their pizzas. Their brick oven thin crust pizzas are reminiscent of my European travels. Try the cheesecake for dessert. I'm only given three stars because of the service for dinner. Enjoy!

the service was terrible. and the server thought I and my girlfriend were tourlists. so, he charged 18% tip with our bill. I complained about that because we saw their tip policy on the menu(more than 5 people, charge 18% tip) then he changed the price of our bill. Do not go to this restaurant. I would recommend you Subway instead!!! In addition, the food were terrible too.......

I was in Miami for training with my company. A few work associates and I decided to have dinner at this establishment, as they were very reasonably priced, and their menu looked delicious. The staff was kind, our food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. However, when it came time to pay our bill, the waiter that was helping us turned sour when we asked him to split the bill into 4 checks...even though we asked before we ordered if this was possible, and he said that it was no problem. At the end of the meal, upon settling our bill, they added 18% for the "inconvenience" to their restaurant and treated us like trash. If you're paying on one bill, eat here! Otherwise, don't bother unless you want to be laughed at and treated poorly.

I have been a long time customer of Cine Citta, the pizza is delicious, probably the best kosher pizza in the US, tastes nearly as good as the non-kosher pizza in Italy. Now that said, I went there last week with the whole family and to our dismay we found a large cockroach in the dipping oil that they bring with the bread. We were shocked and disgusted. The waiter said that it happens sometimes and brought a new oil container. Nothing more than that. We paid for the dinner in full and no serious apology. My family refuses to ever go back there. Very sad and extremely disgusting.

I arrived at Cine Citta on a whim without consulting my trusty Yelp colleagues, which was unfortunate. While the modern tangerine and white decor had me picturing fresh, organic fare for dinner, what arrived at the table was anything but. First off, if you are going to tout yourself as a high-end anything, I expect that the wine menu would consist of more than generic, table Merlot and Cabernet priced as high as excellent California red wines. This was my first warning. And while, my spidey senses told me to run, I thought, "What the heck, I've made it this far." That's when I started to notice the details of the restaurant. Light bulbs were missing in many of the lighting fixtures around the bar. There were oil stains on the table cloth. Hmm. And oh, the place was practically empty. Second warning. The food came quickly, which was expected given the low patronage. I had the Rib Eye Balsamic with spinach and rosemary potatoes. The rib eye with the balsamic sauce was decent. The 3 paltry mushrooms that made up the garnish were still cold when the dish arrived. The rosemary potatoes had good seasoning, but tasted freezer burned or seemed somewhat "off," so I didn't eat them. At least, the spinach was well flavored. Given that this was a $45 dollar meal, I didn't think it was worth the value. I'm sure there are other establishments with much better food for the price.

I went to Cine Citta Caffe last night for the first time. The place is modern and the atmosphere at the beginning of the meal was not too bad. The seats are comfortable and everything seems clean. There was a little confusion about our reservation when we arrived, but they were quick to accommodate us. The bread was good as was the oil that they give you with it. All the appetizers came out quickly. The Cine Citta salad was great and so was the fried mozzarella. As it started to become later in the evening the place started to fill up and the service started to slow down: Our water was not being filled up, I personally had to go to the counter and fill it up (more than once), and entrees were taking very long to come out. The fish was was decent - it's not too hard to find better. The homemade pasta was good, but the pizza was nothing special: it was bland and lacked taste. At the end of the night it seems as if we were eating in a cafeteria rather than a restaurant: Long tables, very loud, no service, and extra plates on the table. I give it 2/5 - One star for the bread and appetizers, and one for the pasta. It lost it's other 3 stars on: Service, Atmosphere, and the bland fish and pasta. Will try not to visit again. By the way, they apologized for the slow service and said that it was busy because of Sukkot and they are always understaffed during the holidays - so HIRE someone!

BEWARE VERY BAD SERVICE ISSUE'S, AND THEY PUT 18% ON TO THE BILL SO THE SERVERS DON'T CARE. When we arrived tonight we told the server that it was my son inlaws birthday and at the end please bring him a chocolate souflee with a candle. Well we got our first course and no bread or oilive oil like some other tables, I never got a water glass and since they asked what I was drinking and I replied water you would think they would have given it to me. The whole night we had to stop servers and ask for water or ice tea. At the end we told the server to bring the check signaling the end since we told him the souflee was a suprise, and the moron brought us the bill, and never served the souflee, then he has the audacity to argue with me when I was telling the owner. For those jewish people that eat dairy out, STAY AWAY!!! they think they can treat you any way they want to. Go to Spris on Lincoln Rd, where the food , service and even the prices are much better. Yes even with the high rent on Lincoln Rd spris has better prices, and the service is perfect. So in the end they ruined a birthday suprise. I will never go back and advise others to do the same.

This is the best kosher dairy restaurant in South Florida, hands down. Besides the very cool interior, they make their pastas from scratch daily. The owners are from Tunisia and the place definitely has a very cool, Sephardic edge to it. You're not going to get your typical, tasteless Ashkanazi fare here. The food is fabulous, try the fettuccine alfredo, especially. Can't get enough, it's addictive!

Had a nice blackened tuna dish (came with mashed taters) at this local kosher italian restaurant. The decor is crazy modern - all white, geometric lines, sofa-padded chairs, dim lighting. Service was pretty good - the host gave us complimentary quarters for the meter, which I thought was super nice. All in all, I'd recommend this to my kosher-eating friends.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
