If you're looking for exceptional service and an unforgettable meal, look no further. Tucked into the corner of a strip mall on Sunset you would never even know such a gem exists in this neck of the woods. I have been coming here for about 12 years and I have NEVER once had a bad or even mediocre meal. I have had my sons Baptism lunch here and my daughters first communion and they were phenomenal! Everyone raved about it. Their menu has been the same for a long time but they have daily specials which the waiters go over with a lot of detail. I am a big fan of their set menu though. You can find the classics like linguine a la vongole (excellent) lamb and filet mignon. I like to think of this food as Italian with a hint of Latin flavor. They pair many of the dishes with guava, chocolate and Demi glacé sauces. The Latin flair can be seen in the use of plantain chips. They have a great wine selection as well. Service is always top notch! The waiters have been there for ever which is a good sign. They are not over worked and seem to enjoy their job as they out so much pride into pleasing the clients. Try it! You will never regret it!
2.5 Not a bad place, but wasn't too blown away by this place either. The menu is extremely small. The waiter rattled off more specials that seemed like were longer than the regular menu. Kind of odd. I thought the food was of average to good quality. Prices I thought were high for the area. The bread was just ok (not homemade) and I tried a drink that was weak. Not sure I'd recommend or return.
If you're under the age of 40, have any culinary or service industry experience, please read my honest review. Miami is an amazing place for culinary arts, there are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from, this place is not one of them. I am new to the Kendall area, transitioning from my apartment lifestyle in Midtown and I had hoped to find a suburb neighborhood gem in Caffe Di Notte. We called ahead and thank goodness we had, it was packed with couples, none of which were under 45. Older demographics prefer less flavorful food and this restaurant has catered perfectly to their crowd. The server brought us two glasses of house chianti and we started with the seared scallops for an app. Served with a strawberry and mango sauce, all three scallops were overcooked and not very fresh. Stringy and rubbery are two adjectives you don't ever want with seafood. Main dishes were brought our very quickly, $23 lobster ravioli and the $30 rack of lamb. I wanted to include the pricing because when you start to go above the $20 threshold on dishes, you should expect to be impressed. The raviolis themselves were very thick and chewy. Ravioli pasta should have a texture similar to that of a soft cotton bed sheet wrapping the stuffing, this was more like a winter comforter. The lamb was cooked well but there was NO FLAVOR. Served with over steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes and a bland mint jelly puree, I couldn't recall one single bite of this dish. Dessert was somewhat redeeming, coconut cheesecake was very lovely. Hate to sound like snob but for these prices, I will drive the extra 20 minutes to other parts of town for good Italian. TL;DR : Older crowd, decent décor and attentive service. No flavor and poor execution on all dishes, should expect more for these prices!!!

Sashimi quality was poor. You can tell by their color. Perhaps tuna should be closer to red than artificial pink? However, I might be a biased reviewer coming from Boston sushi/seafood. All in all, I wouldn't visit again.
Love this place. I order delivery at least once every couple weeks. 99% of the time I have my food within 45 minutes. (for sushi delivery on a weekend night in Miami, that is FAST). They have some really good rolls with lots of different fish, which I really enjoy. I don't like the rolls with just a little bit of fish. Prices are about average, but well worth it. Try the Rolling Star...the best!
One of my favorite restaurants for great quality sushi. Always fresh and great variety! Service is fast and the staff is friendly and great prices as well. If you love sushi this is the place for you!
