My husband took me here on a date night. And I was pleasantly surprised!! Its in a plaza shopping center, but don't let that deter you... the music was loud and fun and perfect!!! The food was ON POINT!!!! They made a custom order of Mahi Mahi fish tacos just for me....:) the brothers are super sweet, the ambience is a fancy restaurant meets cool jazz club.... it was amazing and fun and I loved it! Go enjoy it there... it's a little pricey but nothing outrageous.... it was worth every cent!!!

This place is a gem in S.Florida. if you appreciate American and other jazz srandards, you will enjoy this unique concept! The wait staff is very attentive, the food is fine and the ambiance is so cool! Its a cross between a fifties nightclub and a music salon..great posters on the wall, lighting is terrific, the musicians always superlative. You will enjoy the laid back atmosphere, the very comfortable environment. very genuine and kind musicians. Very affordable, no cover. So great for dinner date or with family and friends. Best to arrive before 7 as they do not take reservations except for six or more. Youll dig this joint! Dr. Mark Roseman

This place is absolutely awesome! I was there on a Saturday night with my jazz loving friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great and very reasonably priced. This restaurant is not very large and you can really enjoy live jazz in an intimate setting. I highly recommend it for people who enjoy live music and good food,

Loved the ambiance. Great music for being nowhere near the city scene. Food was not my favorite. Honestly, I'd probably eat before hand at a nice restaurant and head here for wine. Or come just for appetizers. From what I understand, they're a music school in the day time and a restaurant at night. I think that's the best way to think about it. That your going to a music school that happens to cook at night while playing great music. I'd definitely come back though...for the Jazz.

first of many times to come. great music. finally, a place that doesn't feel obligated to play over the top hyper music. as a former server, i can tell u the service is amazing.these folks r great.

A true jazz lounge and restaurant!! The musician and singers are great, talented individuals. The menu selection is awesome. It was hard to decide what to order. The entrees come with a choice of meat and choice of preparation. The garlic bread is a must. All That Jazz is in the NW corner of Hiatus and Oakland Park. Its on the north end of the plaza with plenty of parking.

Well, I was completely blown away. In dorky West Broward there is silken jazz in an up-scale club hidden away in a remote strip center. I almost stumbled into this place finding just traces of it online. Blown Away. Saturday night I caught the middle set and the jazz trio was excellent, piano player - killer; plus three guest vocalists. It was a good looking crowd, wait-list for tables, the room was intimate/romantic and the food coming out of the kitchen looked great. Blown Away. The emcee (bassist) told of their Thursday night special featuring a 17-piece JAZZ ORCHESTRA!! Huh?? They're closed for the next two weeks for summer holiday but I'll be there for the next performance of the JAZZ ORCHESTRA. And then back again with friends. Still stunned this is sitting in W. Broward (Hiatus & Oakland). Stunned but excited. WooHoo!

My boyfriend took me to this place as a surprise for early Valentine's Day dinner. I did not know that such a place exists around this area. I was so happy that we came here. Once you enter through their doors, you are immediately surrounded by beautiful live jazz music. It was a refreshing feel. The ambience the band creates was so soothing and awe-inspiring. The band was really great! We had an amazing waiter, and his presence was really enjoyable and made you feel at home. We had the jambalaya and Grandma Ida's Shrimp Oreganato. I love the crispiness of the shrimp, great simple flavors. The pasta had a sweet marinara sauce, it was definitely on the sweet side. The Jambalaya was good, it had really bold flavors, but it was slightly one-noted after a couple of bites. You definitely want to order something else with the Jambalaya to cut the flavor and give your mouth a break from the muddled flavors. But it's great that it had a lot of seafood! The service was friendly and fast. I would definitely come back here and enjoy the jazz music and have myself a good meal.

Small family owned and operated. Associated with a music school... Tonight there was a nice jazz trio playing, and then some jazz flute and vocals joined the mix. good food too... interesting mix of Italian and Brazilian flavors. Don't miss the homemade tiramisu. Amazing to find a place like this in the middle of a suburban strip mall! Last time I was here there was a Beatles tribute band playing, and somehow, I'm told they fit a 17 piece big band in one a week.

Great date place. Family owned and operated. They make you feel part of the family. Extremely accommodating. Amazing jazz and good food. Loved that they stayed open later because there was a nice crowd there. One of the servers got up and sang beautifully as well as one of the brothers amazed us with his clarinet playing. Definitely going to be one of our regular destinations. I'm a restaurant owner and everything was spot on. I traveled from Delray Beach and it was well worth the drive.

Awesome place!!! Got in with a group of 11 and the service was great!!! Food came in all at the same time, hot and in a reasonable amount of time. The ambience was relax and the jazz music was great. One of the servers started singing and her voice was amaaazing!!!!

We've been going to All That Jazz since it opened - this place is awesome. The food is different and great - Try the Jambalaya! Last night they had a 13 year old student join the band - if you didn't see him, you'd have thought it was a 30 year old professional - just awesome and inspiring. We highly recommend you check it out!

I've been to All That Jazz twice now, myself and the people I went with are in the upper 20's crowd and the crowd there seems to definitely be older, but don't let that deter you from checking it out! My friends and I went for the food mostly, secondly the jazz. I think it should be the other way around, go if you want to see some live jazz and grab a bite and a glass of wine if you get hungry. You're looking at about $13 for pasta and sauce and I think that is pricey, and it's extra to add meat. I liked the vodka sauce more than the pesto sauce, as did my friend. I think they could definitely expand their menu, I'd like to see some tortellini, lasagna, and caprese on the menu! And for all the rave reviews that the garlic bread gets, I hate to say it but it looked like frozen garlic bread from the store to me! Maybe it's the presentation. I think if they laid it out on a long plate with some balsamic drizzled on top would be a bump up in presentation. Speaking of balsamic, I got the salad with balsamic vinaigrette, DO NOT get the balsamic vinaigrette, it was 75% oil with some kind of lumpy black weirdness in the bottom of it, it was gross and ruined the salad. My friend got the lemon dressing and really enjoyed it, so try that! Now the desert on the other hand, is WOW. So great, GET THAT over anything else! The tiramisu and the chocolate cheesecake are great great choices. Bottom line: It might be wise to go here after you've had dinner. You can enjoy the jazz, get some wine and chocolate cheesecake and call it a night!

From the time we walked in this place was awesome! The hostess was as sweet as can be and made us feel at home. The band was great and our waitress even got up and belted out a tune. I ordered the cajun andouille pasta. It was very flavorful and spicy.

If you're in the mood for a casual dining experience that can be fun for the whole family, you should head on over to All That Jazz Cafe & Grill on Friday & Saturday nights for outstanding food & great live music! Located on the NW corner of Oakland Park Blvd & Hiatus Rd, this music school by day transforms to a idyllic cafe on the weekends that is sure to keep you coming back for more. Their prices are exceedingly affordable and you can leave here knowing that you received fresh, homemade cuisine without breaking the bank. Appetizers start at $4.95 and rounds out at $10.95 with entrees starting at $9.95 and goes up to $23.95. This family owned business really knows how to make you feel welcomed. Their cool and clean décor is impeccably maintained and their service is one-of-a-kind. They have a small wine list that has something for everyone. They have the Robert Mondavi Woodbridge Collection as their house wine at $6.95 per glass. Their other wines are sold by the bottle and range from $28 - 40. They have a small selection of your standard beers to choose from along with sodas, iced tea, cappuccino, espresso, coffee & tea. Their kids' menu boasts free dessert for kids with meals at $6.95 and $8.95. Again, there is something for everyone and the prices cannot be beat. I started off with the recommended appetizer, the All That Jazz Garlic Bread. This homemade garlic bread is made daily with fresh garlic and herbs and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. You can "jazz" it up by topping it off with one of the following: fresh mozzarella cheese, melted Gorgonzola, pesto & mozzarella cheese or with fresh tomato sauce & mozzarella cheese for a pizza style twist. Served in 8 pieces, the pesto & mozzarella topping ($6.95) was very flavorful and more than enough to share. If you like your garlic bread with a bit more of a crunch, ask the server to have them leave it in the oven a little longer for that crunchy bite. Overall the appetizer was a good choice but with 6 other appetizers on the menu to try, I'd recommend getting another one to pair with the bread for the table to share as all the others have either seafood or meat in it. They have a wide selection of entrees to choose from with each entrée including your choice of a soup or salad. An eclectic cuisine offering is what adds to the charm of this restaurant. Tacos, salads, garlic bread sandwiches and pasta dishes with made-from-scratch specialty sauces are just some of the entrée choices available to guests. The restaurant also has dishes "from the sea" and "from the grill" served with rosemary mashed potatoes, jasmine rice or pasta marinara with the sautéed vegetable of the day. The two 8 oz. flame grilled pork chops was the entrée of choice paired with mashed potatoes, asparagus and a salad ($17.95). My friend went with the shrimp linguine in Calypso Caribbean Sauce ($15.95). This medium spicy sauce was made with bell peppers, ginger, coconut milk, tomatoes and a hint of brandy. In trying the dish, I was able to pull out all the flavors in the dish where no one flavor overpowered the next. You could easily taste the freshness of the foods with each bite being better than the last. These simple but flavorful dishes left absolutely nothing to be desired and were the perfect combination to satisfy the appetite. No meal is complete without dessert and All That Jazz Cafe & Grill serves up a variety of fresh, homemade goodness for this final course. Each dessert is made from scratch and 100% au natural using their very own recipes. Elaine's Key Lime Pie was one of the best key lime pies I've ever tasted. Its crisp, cool taste of freshly grated limes and tart custard made for a refreshing treat. This particular dessert was enough to share but could be enjoyed by one person. All of the other desserts on the menu are meant for sharing. I heard rave reviews from other patrons about their Brownie Ice Cream Sundae "Explosion" so be sure to try that one as well. By far, the cherry on top for this restaurant is the live jazz band that plays while you enjoy your meal. With one person tinkling away on the piano keys, another on the drums and one of the owners strumming on the bass, the atmosphere completely transforms with the smooth sounds of the live band. Look no further because All That Jazz Café & Grill is a unique restaurant that offers homemade comfort food at great prices and unbelievable live music. They also host Sunday Brunch once a month along with other special events so be sure to sign up for their email list to get all the latest details on all the happenings.

This is a wonderful place. The atmosphere is energizing. I went there last night with my son and we are going back on Thursday to hear the big band play. The food was very very good and the service was awesome. Definitely a good night with my family.

From the friendly greetings to the brothers banter to the live jazz, this place is a delight. Service is informal but efficient, ambience only improves with a crowd & prices more than reasonable. Food is fresh & nicely prepared, some of the sauces may not be made on premises and the same may be true about the desserts. However, family recipes cooked fresh and hot are hard to beat. And when the staff grar up for another awesome set, the whole experience adds up to one truly enjoyable experience! Bravo!

I was there recently for a Beatles cover band and dinner. The entire experience was wonderful. The service was supererior, the food was first rate and the owners made you feel like family. The band was kick butt and the overall energy was very positive. There is plenty of parking. I enthusiastically recommend.

Superb taste and talent! Stumbled upon this lovely little neighborhood restaurant with live music totally by accident. We are so thrilled we found it. The food was delightful. We had delicious and unique tacos and our friends had garlic bread sandwiches. There are some other awesome looking dishes on the menu, so we will be back to make our way through them. The restaurant is a music school by day and transforms into a jazz restaurant at night. The music students provide the music, including piano, bass, drums and vocals. It's a great concept and the students have tremendous talent. And believe it or not, it gets better! The owners and staff are the nicest and most pleasant people you could meet. We felt like friends or family from the moment we walked in the door. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

OMG....We have found heaven on earth!!! From the moment we stepped out of the car and heard that incredible piano playing I knew we found the right place. Since then we try to go to All That Jazz at least once at week. Sometimes we just stop by for a late night cappuccino or a root beer float. Each week the songs change and there is always some surprise artist that performs. We can also count on hearing our favorite musicians perform some of the best jazz we have ever heard. Our ears are so happy when we hear that "Angel" sing Somewhere Over the RAINBOW. We definitely forget all our troubles during the week and escape into the wonderful sound of fantastic jazz musicians. We can close our eyes and pretend we are at The Blue Note. To top it all off, the dinners are superb. From a fabulous calamari and shrimp appetizer or a light salad with grilled salmon, to the incredible chicken parmigiana or a great sandwich; a foodie would never be disappointed by the diverse menu, the superb favors or the excellent prices. The service is impeccable too. You must come and step into the wonderful world of All That Jazz!!!

This is a local, family owned and operated place that has incredible charm. The live jazz is typically a piano, bass and drums - accompanied by different horns / woodwinds. We have been several times and it's a different experience each time - always great! The food very good and has a different variety including a caribbean / italian fusion and even some cajun house specialties to accompany some traditional dishes. We highly recommend the calypso chicken tacos, the spicy New Orleans pasta (especially if you like a little spice) the meatballs, and the Jumbalaya. If you are looking for something a little different for a reasonable price and a small town feel, give it a try!

Nice family business with the love of music as the driving force. Trouble is, this is a restaurant at th end of the day and the food is less than inspired. Basically they need to decide if they are a lounge or a restaurant. Jazz while you ear is great but neither the food or the music were top rate.. Yet. I hope they will find their groove soon.

Fabulous food, fast friendly service, and fantastic jazz. The owner is the chef and the bass player in the band. This is by far the best restaurant we visited in South Florida- better than those at The Breaker in Palm Beach or on the beach in Fort Lauderdale and a much better value. It's hard to find but worth looking for!

Enjoyed a nice Once a Month Sunday Brunch! A family owned and run Jazz Cafe. The entertainment was super! The food was good (buffet style for Brunch). The service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back on a Friday or Saturday night to have dinner off the menu and more great music!

Wow! What a great concept. Excellent food for reasonable prices, a nice atmosphere and jazz music played by student musicians that sound as good as pros. Michael seems to have gotten it right here! We needed a place like this out west since most of the other places to hear jazz are east or south. I will definitely go back.
