It's a solid southern Italian restaurant. Service was very attentive. The veal dish was truly excellent and the chicken dish was good. The caesar salad was disappointing. Simply romaine with a few croutons and grated cheese. Portions are large.

Tried this restaurant twice. The service is great but the place is very noisy and they don't do anything to soften the sound. The food is kind of bland. I had the Chicken Parm and the top was burnt, and it was kind of tough and lukewarm. I read the reviews and was hoping to find the kind of neighborhood place I could go to on a regular basis but this is not it.

I had an eggplant dish that was amazing, I think it was eggplant siciliano? One of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had. The pasta was cooked to perfection. I wasn't crazy about the sauce it was very tomato soup-ish, we have a place here in RI that pretty much has identical sauce and I'm just not crazy about it. However, the light sauce complimented the eggplant perfectly, not great on the pasta and meatballs though. The meatballs were not good in my opinion and my kids wouldn't even eat them, unseasoned, plain balls of meat. Pizza and eggplant made up for the lacking meatballs. I'd certainly go back and try other dishes. Overall, a great little Yelp find while we were in the area! Worth a visit for sure.

I happened along this place a few months ago after dropping kids off at the movies . This location has had its share of problems, it isn't too visible in the corner. I ordered food to go but ended up staying longer than I had planned , they had a musician who was great and the energy in the place was infectious . The pizza and eggplant parmigiana brought home that night were excellent! We stopped in for slice one sat. After shopping and had an incredible tasting pizza!! I ordered a slice of spinach pizza, which was pan sautéed and layed on thick. The crust was one of the best. Since that day I've had them cater several of my office lunches. They truly go above and beyond call of duty to do a fantastic job. Everyone I've had this catered to absolutely loves it. There is a full restaurant side and a pizzeria side. Try both!

This spot has hosted several restaurants and I do miss a few of them. I was excited to see such great reviews. I'm part of the Stuart lunch crowd since I work in the area. I opted for the buffet, it seemed like a reasonable deal. Basically $9 with drink. The meat balls were awesome, but it would have been nice to have some spaghetti noodles to go with it. The other buffet dishes were good as well. The pizza had been sitting there the entire hour we were there. I was the only one to take a couple of slices and they were cold. They offered to warm it in the microwave... Really? I asked if the pizza was fresh and was told yes. I guess if you consider hour old cold pizza fresh... Service was good and they gave us complimentary knots when we sat down. The part that really pissed me and my lunch friend off was during check out. We each handed the waiter our credit cards. He returned a few seconds later to notify us that there was a 50 cent charge if our bill was under $10 when paying by credit. OK, really? My bill with tax and the .50 cent charge came out to over $10 in the end. I just took it out of the tip and won't return.

I was surprised to find Angel Hair with garlic and olive oil on the menu. This is a dish that can be messed up so easily I wanted to see if they could pull it off. They did, the pasta was cooked al dente and the roasted garlic was sweet and flavored the olive oil perfectly. I do wish they had real Reggiano cheese for that dish instead of the powdered parmesan. The caesar promised anchovies and did not deliver. It was also cold and DRENCHED in a sweetish creamy dressing. I didn't eat this after one bite. I had a taste of the Eggplant Parm and it was good after scraping the mountain of cheese off the top, and I'm a cheese fan, but there is a line. The calamari, tomato sauce and garlic knots are good and the service is not. It seemed a lot of tables were being attended to but not ours. The owners and other servers would help out with drinks and chats while our glasses sat empty. I saw our server four times through the course of the evening, the second time I ordered another glass of wine that never came. Three of our four dishes came out and were dropped on the table by other staff. A few minutes later the fourth. Before I could ask about my wine and some Reggiano for the table they were gone. I actually had to wave my hand like Hip Hop Hooray to get anyone's attention. It was a solid five minutes before I could dive into my entree. Really well done on the pasta dish but everything else left me a bit meh.

Our dinner began with two martinis. Dad order the Vesper martini with a twist and I had a straight Titos vodka martini. While the drink was mixed by one of two very professional waiters, Dad claimed it to be the best martini he's had in ten years. That is saying a lot about the drink! He drinks the Vesper Martini and to make one of those takes some skill. Both cocktail were prepared and served with a high degree of quality. Hot on the tails of our drink order were very hot garlic knots seasoned with fresh chopped garlic, Italian parsley and very good olive oil (oil better than Costco organic olive oil). Quality bread is a good sign of a worthwhile restaurant. I quickly manged three of six and awaited my order of the Clams Casino, Veal Scallopini and Veal Parmesan for the old man. Clams Casino were awesome and the dish left me wanting more. The prosciutto, pane and garlic filling was a perfect complement to the fresh clams. The sauce for the casino was equally good; white wine with tomatoes in a nice reduction - coincidentally a style for many dishes on the menu. By the way the menu was a nice well printed menu with just enough selections. Tiramisu for dessert tasted great although had they used fresh whipped cream and a little fruit on the plate would have set the dish off in an even better dimension. Great veal dishes and great hospitality! Will be back for sure.

Very good eat in or take out. A bit noisy, but good food. The pizzas and Strombolian are excellent. When we eat in, we enjoy the specials as well as the menu items.

My fiancée and I went here on a rare Monday off. We got there early and had the restaurant to ourselves. Marina, our waitress, came over and the fun began. I'm a transplanted New Yawker and I really miss the atmosphere of a hometown eye-talian eatery. I found it in Nino's in Port St Lucie. Then one day they were gone. I was heartbroken. Hearing that New York accent and the amazing food, and the portions were home away from home. And then they were gone. I posted on yelp that they were gone and a fellow yelper told me they moved to stuart. The clouds parted and the sunshine came flowing down! Finding Nino's again was like finding a long lost friend. The location is bigger, they have a dining in area separate from the pizzeria area which is very nice. So, back to the meal. We started with garlic knots and stuffed mushrooms. Great starters, good flavor, great portions. I ordered the chicken parm, which is my standard go to Italian meal. Now I have to say the daily specials are always something to consider. Every time I've been to Nino's I've been enticed by the specials and I have never been disappointed. I was looking for my fave chicken parm for this meal but I recommend the specials, all good! My fiancée had veal piccata. The portions are excellent, the flavor was awesome. I had to take my leftovers to go, which he ate and loved. Marina was a joy. A big personality in a compact package, she was funny, helpful, and took great care of us. I very highly suggest Nino's for great food, great portions, great atmosphere and great prices!

Another FANTASTIC evening! Dinner for 7 tonight. Flawless from beginning to end. I have to admit, I was a LITTLE apprehensive on this visit, that it may not measure up to our first dining room experience. my fears were quickly laid to rest! We started with garlic knots, followed by a platter of Calamari and an Antipasto. The salad was served with the most delicious Balsamic vinegar and honey dressing! Tonight we all tried the Special of Grouper with an artichoke sauce, or Stuffed Veal and Stuffed Eggplant. The veal was stuffed with a broccoli, spinach and three different cheeses, roasted and served with a very light mushroom grave. OUT OF THIS WORLD! The portion was abbondanza , and not one of us was able to complete their Veal Entree. Thank goodness, lunch tomorrow! ;) The eggplant was LIGHT, not greasy in the least and was so huge, I brought home at least half of my meal. I was REALLY excited about this visit because a few of my family members just returned home from a trip to Italy and have eaten at some of the BEST restaurants all over Italy. I really wanted their opinions. They both LOVED their meals and genuinely enjoyed each and every course. They too gave Nino's a 5 star rating! Mark was again our waiter and AGAIN made the night a very enjoyable one. My hope is that each and every one of you give Nino's a try. They are all friendly, hard working family members who hustle and work so very hard to please their guests. I never had to ask for my drink to be refilled, Mark always has a smile on was so quick I didn't even see him replace it a number of times. Hard working people like this need to be commended and supported. The chef came out to meet us and was such a wonderful, humble man. Three visits in three weeks. I found our new favorite and plan on taking many, many return visits! THANK YOU Nino's !!!

One of the best pizza's in Stuart. I was really impressed with pizza as it seems forever that I've found a really good pizza in Stuart. My bride and I actually ordered dinner and it was very good. However, I couldn't leave without trying their pizza. That pizza slice was one of the best desserts I've had in a while :-) Will definitely be back.

Great NY style Italian restaurant! We had chicken and veal parmigiana, which was fork tender and tasty (pounded thin and tender... no patties here!) with a bowl of cheese to sprinkle on top. A tasty salad had more than the usual lettuce and 1 cherry tomato! Garlic knots were warm and tasty, but could have used a bit more garlic. Glasses of Pinot noir and Pinot Grigio were generous and tasty. The owner was in attendance, and was friendly and hospitable.

Went last night for Valentines Day dinner and brought 2 newbies along (I've been a steady regular for months now). Definitely was organized chaos. It's refreshing to see employees working so hard for themselves and for the owner. I had the special a chicken breast with prosciutto and tomato and cheese over pasta. I'm still drooling over my leftovers I'm having for breakfast. We danced and laughed and received roses on the dance floor. There was a good feeling there even though it was crazy insane busy. Everyone there worked their butts off last night and that did not go unnoticed. I have yet to have a bad experience there and I look forward to Nino's success and becoming a staple in Martin county. My friends were very pleased and they are looking forward to their next visit.

Husband was craving Clams and Linguine, so we looked online to find a place that serves it. We get to the restaurant and go in to see the hostess and let her know we'd like to sit outside. She tells us to have a seat and she'll be right out with menus. TWENTY minutes go by and we've been forgotten! I must say at this point, the restaurant was NOT that busy! An older gentleman (one of the servers?) comes out and gives us a basket of garlic rolls, STILL no menus, no beverage order taken. I want to just go somewhere else but we were starving and didn't want to go somewhere else. Finally, our server appears with menus and to take our drink order. He comes back with our drinks, wine for husband and unsweetened iced tea for me. He forgot the sweetener so I wait another 5 minutes for him to bring it. So we finally order, Caesar salad and the linguine with clams for him and a house salad with NY Strip with green beans and roasted potatoes for me. TWENTY minutes later, still no salads and my husband gets up, goes inside and inquires about the salads. The come out a few minutes later. His was good, mine was not. I was told by the server that it would be baby greens. It was iceberg lettuce with two rotten yet unripe tomato slices on top. At this juncture I was ready to leave but he was determined to have his Linguine! I mention to the server that there is no salt and pepper on the table. Instead of bringing us some, he launches into a diatribe about how people steal them so they don't put them out any more. He never brings us salt and pepper! So we wait. And wait. 30 minutes later, still no food! Once again, my husband has to go inside and see what the holdup is. By this time, we both needed another beverage, which we were not offered. Finally, FOOD! My NY Strip was cut into slices already! Great, so it's lukewarm from the start. Steak and green beans as bland as nursing home food! And here I sit, with no salt and pepper still. Also no potatoes! Finally I get some salt and pepper, and try to make the best of the food. It wasn't half bad when I was able to put some seasoning on it. The potatoes come when I'm almost finished, and they are FRIED, not roasted, but they were the best part of the meal. Husband's Linguine with clams was very very bland, the sauce broken and oily, with a very small quantity of minced clam. All this time, we are being ignored. No manager ever comes to the table to see why we were unhappy, though the Linguine is removed from our check so at least we didn't have to pay for food that was inedible. Service was slow and apathetic and full of excuses and food was barely tolerable.

This place is a great place to go for pizza! We have been there twice and the pizza is amazing. My husband owns pizzeria's in Ohio and so we know pizza! When you walk in the door you are immediately greeted by friendly staff. You know they appreciate your business and your whole dining experience feels that way. They are a full service Italian restaurant with a wide range of italian dishes on their menu. I have only eaten the pizza because I love it so much! But, I would say the other items are probably as good. If you want a dining experience where you are treated like a long lost friend by the entire staff, this is the place. I am becoming a regular.

Had 2 great subs here yesterday for lunch. My hub had the cold Italian and I had the hot Italian called the Phyllis. We also had pasta fagioli. The soup had a good taste but was under seasoned and I did not like the fact that linguine noodles were used in it and not the small tubes that are typically used. Great service. We will be going back to try the dinner menu and zuppa.

I have eaten here a second time now with a group of friends and the food was fantastic and the service was way above average. the service people treated us like we were royalty. My second dish was the Osso bucco not sure I spelled it right but it was delicious, tender and flavorful. Also I don't drink wine and it was nice to have a drink after dinner with my friends they had a full bar. My friend said they had a nice selection of wines but I really wouldn't know. For dessert I had the Chocolate mousse and it was awesome. all in all a truly fantastic visit. I will be seen here quite often.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
