So on my third or fourth visit, I'm finally writing a review. Frank 'n Stein Etc is a local institution and a genuine road food destination. With their subtitle "warm buns and cold beer", they do hot dogs, beer and a couple of other things I've never tried. Order the chili cheese frank, which gets 5/5 from me. You go here for the hot dogs. They are excellent Sabrett beef franks possessing a perfect snap. The turnaround on orders is incredible, but then again Rob's speed at cooking and assembling all the ingredients does defy belief. This place is easily worth a 30-mile detour.

Very good place for a quick snack or a cold beer and a Great tasting hotdog !Nice hidden gem! I recommend the junk fries with whatever dogs you desire all are delicious. Friendly staff good service.

I am a hot dog expert and this place has the better hot dog. Nathans and Sonic....no match. The chilli and cheese are a favorite. Although I plan to eat every combination eventually. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We waited about 5 minutes for our food. Stand alone building with plenty of parking.

These hotdogs are really good! I got two dogs, one with chili and cheese and another with peppers and onions, but they have just about any topping you would ever want to put on a hotdog. Both were served to our table literally seconds after we sat down. Staff was friendly and prompt too! My only gripe is that they didn't have a great beer selection. Even then it was served ice cold, so it really wasn't much of an issue. All in all, if you want a quality hotdog then I would definitely recommend this place!

Sooo GOOD! This is one of those rad local spots that I find myself kind of (lite) obsessing over though it's thousands of miles away. Maybe the exceedingly palatable birch beer's to blame (= first time I ever had birch beer from a soda fountain). Maybe it's just hot dogs (and who doesn't love hot dogs?) Maybe it's the super rad weirdo art lending credence to the worthy-of-a-detour roadside vibe this place exudes (do it!). I don't know why I often mentally wax poetic about Frank 'N Stein Etc (p.s. Dear Yelp, the name of this place is missing the Etc on this business page, and maybe, just maybe, the Etc is where the magic lives), but I sure am jellis of all yous that live close-by enough to call yourselves regulars. p.s. pour a little birch out for me.

Ive been coming here since i was 3yrs old!! Still the best place to get a draft n a dog! I suggest the junk fries and a chili cheese dog with a pitcher of bud! Theres nothing better!

Great hot dogs and cold beer! need I say more? Actually, I do. They have other sandwiches and fare too. My favorite hotdog is the Southern style with coleslaw and spicy mustered. Yum! Yum!

Draft beer products by Annhueiser Busch, hot dogs by Sabrett,every conceivable topping. Spotlessly clean, and bright. This is a great stop for plain old comfort foods.
