I love this place. Very small and down to earth. The food is awesome and they keep Dr. Brown's in stock. I LOVE their pasta salad. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I had an egg salad wrap with pasta salad that was awesome. Plus they are conveniently located near Terra Fermata for a quick snack when needed.

Lunch was great, had sandwiches. Waitress was awful. I mean, down right rude. There were three tables total. Maybe she was having a bad day but still. She didn't know the side options, and then seemed annoyed when I asked. I don't think I'll be back.

Stopped by Stuart on a work business and was looking for a local healthy sandwich or salad joint. Saw great reviews for Ella's and decided to try it out. Hands down, best chicken wrap I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh and unique. The chicken was shaved chunks, and lots of it! and was accompanied by a raspberry mayonnaise! Delicious! Also featured grilled onions which gave that hint of an addicting flavor. Fresh lettuce and sliced tomatoes. I chose the tomato basil wrap, would probably try the spinach next. The salad selection seemed endless, so many options with delicious ingredients. I will definitely 100% be back every time I am able to visit Stuart. If you're in the area, it's a MUST VISIT!!

*REVIEW FOR CALL-IN AND DELIVERY* I called in a lunch order for a group of 12 on a Tuesday, and was happily surprised by not only the option for delivery, but by the fact that our food was delivered promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Best of all, the value for price paid was outstanding: the total for 12 people, including tax and gratuity was under $125! Great value for huge, fresh sandwiches and salads delivered, if you ask me. Our group ordered a variety of paninis, sandwiches, and salads. Not one crumb was left unfinished. The breads for the paninis and traditional deli-style sandwiches were fresh and quite tasty. Perfectly toasted panini bread and no over-buttered, so the sandwiches didn't arrive soggy or limp. The meats tasted and looked fresh, too. The Greek salad was excellent, and was only about $8 yet quite large - and stuffed to the to-go box brim with crisp mixed greens, banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, bell peppers, fresh feta with a subtle crumb, red onions, and an awesome house made vinaigrette on the side. The delivery order was packed with care, and was handed off with the requisite napkins, eating utensils, and wet-naps. The deli even took the time to write the sandwich/salad name on the outside of each container, so we didn't have to go picking through to see what was what when it was time to nosh!

Love this place! Chef Mark and his staff really work hard at ensuring your visit is pleasant and delicious! Well thought-out daily specials, plenty of side dish choices to go with your meal, and the food is great. Definitely a nice alternative to the usual boring chain-restaurant fare. Go there, order a tasty sandwich, and have a seat in the cozy nicely decorated & historic dining area. You'll be back!

My favorite place to eat in Stuart! I literally go here almost every single day, and have tried nearly the entire menu. The food is always good. It's not a chain which is why I was initially drawn to it. The staff is friendly and the service is good. There are daily specials which are always tempting. I love the chicken cordon blue, blackened chicken pasta alfredo, pot pies, and ribs. The meatloaf was the only one I didn't care for. I only tried it once. The black bean and turkey burgers are only ever available as part of their daily specials menu, but really shouldn't be because they're awesome. Oh my god the muffuletta sandwich! It is so good. If you see it you must try it! Some of my favorites from the regular menu are the powerhouse, roast beef sciciliano, and the broadway-if you're in the mood for a warm sandwich. The Italian combo, monster and southwestern club are all yummy. I haven't tried the big one yet. As for wraps my favs are the chicken Caesar, veggie, Brie zen, buffalo chicken, and the piggley wiggley. The soups are always extremely tasty. Look out for the coconut curry chicken soup it's so good. I also love their carrot ginger soup, and tomato parmeasan bisque. I haven't tried many of their salads only the gorgonzola salad, which was very good, and a few that were part of the daily specials so they're not on the regular menu, but they were also very good. They only use fresh ingredients here. He makes all kinds of desserts which are all amazing!! I've tried most of them. The cookies are so yummy, and I love his coconut cream and nestle crunch pies. You really can't go wrong here! It's a real gem with fresh high quality foods at a reasonable price. It's the perfect lunch spot!

I originally met Chef Mark when I organized a surprise birthday for a friend at The Harborage. His knowledge of food and attention to detail are still apparent at Ellie's Deli. He offers delicious salads, sandwiches and soups! I appreciate the availability of gluten free options for most items and the knowledge that they are carefully prepared when ordered.

Went to Ellie's for the 1st time today (just started working close by). The staff is really friendly. A coworker & I were ordering to go; one of the servers quickly greeted us & gave us recommendations based on what we were looking for. I ordered the turkey & Brie wrap on whole wheat with a side of potato salad (one if my main indicators for how good a deli/sandwich shop is). The wrap was phenomenal (turkey, Brie, fresh veggies & cranberry sauce/spread - yummy)! The potato salad was on the tangy side ,which is how I like it, with lots of crunch from bell peppers & I believe celery? I will definitely be back & soon!

Luckily found a menu for this great place and man was I happy I did. They have fast delivery and the food is excellent! So nice to be able to get delivery from a quality restaurant. I will definitely be ordering again and letting all of my coworkers know!

Ellie's is that neighborhood place where the locals are in the know about its greatness. The building itself is a quaint little establishment downtown and is not part of a strip mall, which creates instant appeal for me. The inside is decorated with whimsy and there is outside seating both on the porch and the front lawn. The effect is instantly cozy and charming! As for the fare, Chef Mark is turning out some delicious food and it was a tough decision on what to try on my first visit. I settled on the Brie Zen wrap (I chose tomato basil) with a side of pasta salad. My friend wasn't sure about ordering the roasted chicken wrap, so our friendly server brought out a sample for him to try. Sold! You can view the various side salad offerings in the front case too, which is helpful! Despite the place being packed for the lunch hour, our wait was reasonable and the atmosphere was conducive to chatting the time away. When our orders arrived, I was pleased with the generous size of the wrap. No skimping here! The wraps were perfectly built and you got a taste of each ingredient with every bite. A big plus for me was that the wrap did not fall apart at all, as so many often do. It was light but filling and you can taste that absolutely fresh ingredients were used. The pasta salad was perfectly dressed...neither too much nor too little dressing...and was the prefect accompaniment to my wrap. The prices are reasonable and the experience was perfect. Ellie's and Chef Mark will continue to get my business!

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
