This new sub shop's attempt to imitate Lenny's Sub Shop made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. The layout was the same as Lenny's and the menu was almost a number for number replica of Lenny's menu. They even have hot relish, like Lenny's. The only problem is none of it lives up to Lenny's standard. I had the Chicken Philly because I was in the mood for a hot sub and this is my go-to hot sub at Lenny's. The bread was weird and the sandwich had considerably less meat than what I'm accustomed to at Lenny's. Choosing chips proved to be quite difficult too. What happened to having various flavors of potato chips?! To top it all off, the place is decorated in '50s decor which confused me even more. Overall, it satisfied my need to eat a quick lunch and the staff was very nice, so I gave it a 3. So, if you're in Shalimar and want a sandwich, but can't drive all the way to Lenny's in FWB, go here. Going forward, my advice to Rocco would be to just be yourself, don't try to be Lenny. The people will like you for who you really are.

Poorest excuse for a $7 italian salad or any salad I've ever seen. a few chunks of sliced up ham and maybe 2 slices of pepperoni no blk olives.& pre-packaged mini croutons.very disappointed. Got home with our subs and they were wrong. Ugh not a good first impression at all. Subs are very small for the prices paid. Pizza is really thin and tastes like it came out of a DIY kit from the grocery. Not recommended at all

This place is a Lenny's knock-off...right down to the hot pepper relish. It's really weird...these folks are obviously trying to copy the very successful Lenny's model without actually spending the money to buy a franchise...which is too bad because it's a great location for one. The worst part of this is that the food/service doesn't even come close. Don't waste your time with the imitation...drive three more minutes and go to Lenny's.

Second Time I tried it. Thought I would give it a second chance to see if the ill feeling I experienced afterwards was just a coincidence. It wasn't. The sub tasted good, the atmosphere is awful though, but the service was very friendly. If I hadn't gotten sick I would have rated it higher, but its the second time this one just 'went right through me'. Ugg.

I had lunch at Rocco's this week and had the Cuban for $6.95. I think it was the best Cuban sandwich I've had. I highly recommend it. That's what I'll have next time.

I have past this place many times and always thought to myself that I would like to try this, as I am a huge sub fan. Well the day can where I was in the area right at lunch time so I decided to feed my craving. Not only feed my craving for a good sub but I would finally get to try the new sub place. Going in I had planned for a Philly, one of my favorites. But upon walking up to the door, they had the infamous French Dip Sub advertised. OMG do I ever love a nice French dip, cannot beat it!! I walk through the door right in the middle of lunch time, and not one single customer in the place...not a good sign. Being very hungry I didnt let this detour me. I proceeded to order the large French Dip Combo(Sub, side, drink). Decent selection of sides. I opted for the Chili which turned out to be decent, nothing great but it was a good chili all around. At check out I got hit with a bill just under $16.00...wow, really?!?!?! Sub, side and drink? Well, I suck it up and pay for my lunch and didnt say anything, thinking hrmm this better be really good. Well it wasn't really good, I would not even venture to say good. It was what appeared to be your run of the mill sliced roast beef and cheese. That was all that was on the sub, not happy. Thinking the Au Jus would be the saving grace here, I got a big dip and BLAH. Nothing here met my expectations. Sorry it is so long. Got to get my moneys worth somewhere, right ;)
