Love this place! I always get Grandma's Breakfast Sampler. It's not on the menu... You just can't go wrong with this place. I always get breakfast and try to go as often as I can. I also enjoy the country store. Best breakfast and great prices!

As is typical for CB, decent food and good service. Consistent quality and delivery is key.

Fast service, good food, reasonably priced...what's not to love? Great chicken and dumplings; however, the chicken can be dry at times. The fried okra, hash brown casserole and fried apples are always favorites, as are the biscuits and corn muffins. The store is a great place to browse while waiting for your table. Prices in the store are quite reasonable.

Ate here on our way home from our beach day while staying in WDW. Had heard breakfast was the ticket, so that's what I ordered. I had the old-timers (egg, meat, biscuit, grits, hashbrown casserole) hubby had the chicken fried steak and the girls had the mac n cheese. All were yummy. Our server was really nice and rushed the girls' dinner. The store is cute and hubby enjoyed finding some favorite candy from his childhood...DD was excited to find swedish fish. Too bad we don't have this chain in California!

Sooner or later on most any long road trip, I'll stop in at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast. When it comes to grabbing a reliable meal off an interstate in some unknown town, Cracker Barrels are pretty good for a chain restaurant. This location is located in the middle of quite a few family members though, so we've eaten here together maybe 5 times over the past 5 years. We met there again a few days ago, and had another excellent meal. My standard breakfast menu choice is the Old Timer, and for other times of the day I usually order the Spicy Grilled Catfish. Both have been consistently good. And there's nothing like gettin' a chance to get my mac 'n cheese on with 2 servings for my 2 sides. Service here has always been excellent and prompt, and we've never had anyone less than satisfied with their meals. Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 4

I always love the Cracker Barrel when on vacation. It is a trip back in time to grandma's house. The food is decent and very reasonably priced. It is one of those restaurants where you can order the most decadent, fattening meal ever, or something very healthy. From grilled tilapia to chicken fried steak, they have it all. The beans n greens are a welcome respite from fast food junk. And usually the service is fantastic.

Good, home style country food. And the gift shop is a great way to make that table wait go by quick.

Must be under new management. First visit was awful but I was pleasantly surprised this time.

OMG. Shame on you Cracker Barrel (Seffner)! How could you let your restaurant get so nasty?! How were the employees just serving stuff up like it was all good?! Even when they COULD SEE what was going on?! I will NEVER eat here again unless they have a see thru kitchen where I can watch them cook my food. I'm so disgusted and disappointed. I really liked the food. Does that mean I like roach poop? Let's not even. *** Look up their health violations. Unless you're used to similar conditions in your own kitchen at home (eww), you probably won't want to eat here anymore either.

Good comfort food and great service. A little salty and lots of unhealthy fried foods, but tasty.

As a family we were a very large group of six people. Everyone was pleased with the service (tea glasses were filled fast), and the food was great! BOTTOM LINE: If i'm in the area, and I'm hungry...I'll eat here!

The food at CB is always good. And it's always fun introducing someone new to "Country" style food. The only draw back to this experience was that we were in the side dining room, and at the end of the evening, they were hell bent on moving around all the chairs over the stone floor, making an ungodly racket. It drove me to a horrid headache.

This Cracker Barrel just recently is temporally closed for live roaches around the cooking area this would leave a sour taste in your mouth. My family has eaten here in previous year and the smell of this place is nasty. It smells horrid once walking in to the establishment like what the other person has claimed and stated. Food was okay nothing special drink orders was filled in a timely manner. The restrooms needs attention to it smells horrid like they haven't been deep cleaned in a awhile I feel sorry for the customers have illnesses and low immunity who come here to eat and have to use the restroom and they have to use this restroom cause they have no where else to go. Our food was served cold and it took forever to get it served back to us seemed like they only two cooks with a major crowd which we understood that but don't serve food customers cold food. Over all happy or not happy? Not happy with this place and now they got busted for live critters in the kitchen. DISGUSTING!!!!!! This link here to show the recent findings of roaches and 37 violations. wtsp.com/story/news/2015…

Had their new french dip with fries....sandwish was very good. Had to ask for the coleslaw sample it says you get... Didnt care for it. My fries were very lightly cooked...don't care for them that way. I also ordered a side of carrots...love them but really? Almost 3 bux for approx 8 carrots? The hubs had a french toast breakfast and enjoyed all of it. Our server seemed very new, we def had patience with him...he'll only get better. Manager came by and was very friendly. We'll be back next time we have to hit up Lazy Days...hopefully years from now.

9/9 Update: So the filth of the bathroom extended to the kitchen as they were shut down recently for a day due to finding over 50 roaches in the kitchen (including on food prep areas). Couple roaches isn't a big deal to me but over 50? That's a serious problem. Hopefully, the inspector told them to clean the awful men's bathroom too. Original review on 9/8: Ahh nothing like the smell of stale urine to get dinner off to a great start. The men's bathroom was disgusting on my latest visit. Bad idea going in there before eating. It was pretty foul. But my friend and I had already been seated so dinner carried on... I ordered the meatloaf, which took forever to come out and I can see why; it seemed to be on the grill longer than it should have. My waitress was not good at her job at all. She took our order and was basically missing in action the rest of the time and it wasn't even extremely busy, like it usually is. It wasn't till the end of the meal when I got a refill and at which point, I asked for the check since I knew it would probably be the last time i see her. Just a bad experience all the way around. I've been to this location many times before because my parents used to stay at Lazy Days and we never had any problems (other than long waits on food) and I would've given it 3 stars after those visits. But after the latest visit, I'll go with 2 stars.

I guess I'm now on cracker barrel's "ignore this person" list. Having written to them with comments about they're failed health inspection, sick to my stomach comments, they auto-replied via they're computer. The computer told me they welcomed my comments and "if they deemed necessary" would have a real person contact me...it's been over a week, so I'm assuming they don't give a roach's ass! oh well. Corporate don't give a dam, at it's finest.

I just really don't like none of their food but I will eat it because my friends like it

Cracker Barrel is run by many manager per store...at least 4. How could they not take care of all or at least some of these problems? Come on...call the exterminator...I think this is one of the worse violations. They have a budget to fix anything that goes wrong...were they too lazy to call for repairs? Or does this money come out of the bottom line which is their commission? All the managers and the District Manager should be fired. The district manager was the one who hid and went back into the restaurant when being interviewed by the press..,Cracker Barrel this is one of your leaders...well not so much in my eyes. I would say this is not a leader and should be fired first. All the hard work to make this a leading restaurant was hit hard by this Seffner store.

Horrid service, dirty facility and now it's new claim to fame - Roach Motel! I don't recommend coming here. We stopped coming about two years ago due to the apathy of the management and staff. The fact that the health department stepped to have them clean up their act in is a direct testament to their general lack of customer care and pride in service. You would do better to go across the street to Bob Evans. Clean, friendly and motivated staff - good food - no roaches!

So today stopped in for quick breakfast and as always had a good meal. Arrived about 9:30 so breakfast crowd had come and gone so lots of seating and attentive service. I had single blueberry pancake which was just enough. Although bacon is good I don't see the "thick sliced" description fitting the bacon. I have had thicker sliced bacon purchased at grocery store. My husband got Uncle Crackers breakfast and chose for his meat side grilled catfish. I would never order fish with breakfast but I wasn't eating it. His breakfast came out and since I love fish but never tasted catfish I thought I would try a bite. It was delicious. I would definitely order that for lunch or dinner. Beautifully seasoned and flaky Had to ask for water when breakfast cane which is a pet peeve of mine as I think water should at least be offered at all restaurants especially in the heat of the summer with high dehydration risks. Again Cracker Barrel provided a consistent high quality meal for relatively good price.

I'm a big fan of Cracker Barrel breakfast, but this is a review of the lunch situation. I'll start with the building and staff. This CB looks like all the others I have ever been in, so aesthetics-wise, they stick to the brand. My waitress was apparently emotional as it was her last day working there, so her sister warned us she may be aloof and kept checking up on our table to make sure she was okay. It was kind of weird truth be told. As for the food, I order the CB Lunch Sampler. As such, I tasted meatloaf, sweet ham, mac and cheese, hash brown casserole, chicken and dumplings, a biscuit, a cornbread muffin, and French fries. The two things that did not disappoint (and are also standard breakfast items) were the biscuit and the hash brown casserole. Lunch-wise, I found that I enjoyed the chicken and dumplings, Mac and cheese, and ham. I was not particularly pleased with the meat loaf which was a greasy heart burny mess. And I absolutely hated the corn muffin. It tasted like nothing. Overall, I'd probably go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice for dining.

Wow, surprisingly great breakfast! I thought this place was like Denny's, but it is delicious. My mom had the Rueben which was delicious as well. I had the big country breakfast, don't remember the name, came with meat, eggs, grits, fried apples, hash browns, and b&g. Biscuits and gravy wasn't the best, but everything else was great.

Sundays are the best for me, great staff, great food, living in Florida I don't have a fireplace, so I like it when they have it fired up (winter time). Service is good, but I do notice that the one star servers tend to forget things then the four star servers, but I understand you got to start somewhere if service industry is your calling.

Everyone knows Cracker Barrel food. So my review is focused on service. Over the last year I have visited this restaurant on 4 occasions, two of which the service was deplorable. Today I actually saw the waitress bite her lip as she walked away from me when asking to switch noodles to dumplings (before our drinks were dropped off, not as our food was being delivered). Great she bit her lip and didn't say something rude, but I expect more out of a 4 star TM from a national chain with high standards. For me, Cracker Barrel is NOT about the food, it's about the experience. Thanks to Rose for ending my evening on a sour note talking about poor service with my family during dinner. The second star is because everyone else seemed OK. But 2/4 poor visits is too many at a national chain for me not to speak up.

My hubbie and I hadn't been to a Cracker Barrel in a while, so we decided to stop in for a bite on the way home from Orlando. The country store never disappoints. They have the cutest gifts for holidays, sports fans, country design, etc. I could spend a fortune there! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food? That's why I rate them 2 stars. I remember their food being so much better. My eggs, turkey bacon, and grits were just average. My daughter enjoyed their brownie/ice cream dessert, so it wasn't a total disappointment. :)

Nothing worse than having a restaurant mess up an order for your grandmother and have a manager that's clueless. Thanks for nothing Daniel

This particular location was packed! The food was good but the waiter never refilled our drinks and dropped our bill off when he brought our dinners and never came back. The company was good, but I was thirsty!!

We have eaten at lots of Cracker Barrels, usually on road trips. They can be counted on for reliable, consistently good comfort food. It offers lots of kitch, calories, fat and flavor. Breakfasts are especially good, and southern tastes prevail with grits, country ham, biscuits with sausage gravy. Lunches and dinners are similarly hearty, southern menu items...fried chicken/fish, country-fried steak, mac 'n cheese, lots of good veggie side dishes, like greens with pepper vinegar available, peach pie, cobblers, etc.. All is well prepared and served promptly and with warm courtesy. Service and seating slows as they get busy and there are waiting lines at some rush times. While waiting you can browse their exhaustive inventory of nostalgia un-necessaries----toys, candies, mementos, food mixes, gimmicks, gew-gaws & the like. You know what you are getting here and beware of over-ordering so that the over-loads of good stuff in the belly does not put you to sleep 20 miles down the road.

As we drove through Florida, we always saw a Waffle House next to a Cracker Barrel and wondered if they had the same owners. Anyway, I loved the country kitsch ... and the food wasn't bad either! I had a $3.99 breakfast that included two featherly light biscuits (had to ask for honey, but they brought me a whole stack), cheesy hash browns, and cinnamon apples (enough to stuff a good sized turnover). Such a bargain!

Country shrimp fried til golden crisp. Hash brown casserole and mac n cheese hit the right spot and had me full until the next morning.. literally! Service was awesome, very friendly and had cute southern accents. The store that's located in the restaurant has a huge variety of vintage items like old cracker jacks wrapped in the original wrappings, and candy bars as well. Old school soda pop in glass bottles, lunch pails, candy buckets, etc. Great experience!

While I do like me some mac n cheese and apple dumplins, my review pertains to this particular location (Crackhead Barrel) Last summer, while inside for 45mins, our car was broken into and had a lot of valuables stolen from it. This was all caught on survailence cameras. Management and employees didn't seem to give two shits, so we assumed this was a common occurance. Later that day, the detective confirmed our suspicion. It probably has to do with it's close proximity to that creepy Flying J. In any case, don't bother eating here. Sure, the food was good, I'll never blame the chefs. The server was also good. But both the manager and the cashier were unhelpful and unsympathetic. Even when we asked for some kind of compensation (comp meal, gift card, a friggin bottle of syrup) they flat out refused and said it wasn't their problem. Karma, baby. Karma.
