IWonderful! Lovely service, great atmosphere, healthy delicious food choices (especially for vegetarians). Loved the dining experience here. People should go here and check out this hidden gem in Sebring!

So incredibly happy I stopped here!! I'm an out-of-towner and stopped by mostly due to location. The restaurant is in a beautiful, over flowing garden and all the tables are on a patio or in the garden. It's the most calming restaurant setting I've ever experienced. And the food is delicious as well! Try the blackberry lemonade. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful spot. Great atmosphere. In spite of the rain it was nice. The food was great we had the Havana and the artichoke grilled cheese. The dessert was great. My wife said that she liked the Cuban a lot and we are Cuban.

A touch of Sonoma in Sebring. Gems like this restaurant are why I like Yelp! I sought it out because of its good Yelp rating and loved every bite of it. Grilled chicken salad with a dessert of homemade blueberry pie a la mode will be remembered. Seek this garden gem of an eatery and you'll see why it earned every one of its five stars.

Al fresco dining is one of those perks we love to enjoy living in Florida. Floridians flock to outdoor cafes year round (except for those super sticky hot months of July and August) to enjoy fresh air under the stars. On a rainy day in Sebring, Chad and I found ourselves enjoying this open air dining concept amongst the flowers, just like the sign says at The Garden Cafe at McLane's Country Garden. Of course, we were under a roof so we weren't actually in the rain, but the space lacked walls so the cool breeze flowed into the dining room and the sound of the rain danced in our ears. Sounds like a setting for romance novel and it was. The day was gloomy and slightly cold, perfect weather for hot soup. I ordered a cup of the soup du jour which was New England Clam Chowder. It was thick and creamy, pretty good though it needed a little more flavor or salt. We split our entrees- the first of which was a Vegetable Quiche. The quiche menu consists of four flavors including spinach and bacon or Hawaiian quiche as part of the express lunch menu. Other items on the express menu include a few sandwiches like the turkey cranberry sandwich and the BLT. The express menu is designed for a quick in quick out dining experience. We, however, didn't need to be in and out quickly so we enjoyed the quiche with roasted vegetables like broccoli and onions with herbs and melted cheese. The crust was golden and the quiche was creamy and hearty. Our second entrée was from the specialty sandwiches menu. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese with melted Swiss, fresh spinach, artichokes and roasted red peppers. I always love variations on the classic grilled cheese and we both really enjoyed this spinach and artichoke version. Our sides included beans and rice and a garden salad. I loved the BBQ Blue Cheese dressing our server recommended to top the garden salad. We both loved the environment. We strolled through the gardens and admired the variety of plants and flowers. The whole property is serene and relaxing- a great place for a leisurely lunch. The service was good and the prices are reasonable.

Delicious brunch with garden fresh veggies and freshly picked fruit. The Garden Cafe offers excellent service, great ambiance, and a nice variety. From bacon, spinach quiche to mouth watering burgers, vegetarian options, and from scratch desserts!

Absolutely ridiculous. They knew a group of teachers needed to get back to school. Yet, they proceeded to procrastinate taking our order and preparing it! One of the kitchen staff even decided to take their lunch break! Really?! You had dirty food / crumbs in the tub of your rolled silverware, you were under staffed, and you made us all late. In fact, some even left with out your expensive tasteless foo. You were apologetic, you didn't offer any compensation and I will never return. In fact, I will make sure I tell everyone of your disatisfsctory service. For a beautiful place, it's a complete waste.. Not that you care or will even read this.

My parents and I ate here on Small Business Saturday. It was a beautiful day, and the atmosphere at the cafe was just perfect. It's a beautiful place with a menu that offers options not necessarily found elsewhere in Sebring. I'm from Chicago, and I think this place is a gem in Sebring. The food was very flavorful, and you can't beat the scenic view on a nice fall day. My only complaint is that the service was a little slow. I've been there once before, and the service was much better. But overall, I would definitely recommend this place for lunch.

What a great place! So many wonderful choices it was hard to decide. We would never have found this place if not for yelp reviews. Worth the few extra minutes off highway 27. We usually pass thru on Sunday, the one day they r closed. So glad we were here on Wednesday. Beautiful setting. When u r inside, it feels like u r outside. Looks like a garden, tastes like heaven.

Just enjoyed the most wonderful evening at McLane's Garden Café!! An intimate "Tapas" Dinner prepared by Sysco Central Florida's Executive Chef. Each course was paired with exquisite wines from their wine purveyor, Johnson Brothers. What a special night!!! You MUST plan another one soon!!! Thank you Lolly and Scott!!!!

Lovely little place that we visited on my birthday. I was slightly disappointed to find that breakfast is only served on Sundays, but the quiche was tasty. The tomato soup was fresh and flavorful.

A hidden gem of Sebring. The garden is a great place to relax, and have a delicious lunch or dinner with friendly service. Food is all fresh so there was a slight wait, but definitely worth it! Hands down my favorite place in town. I had the trooper burger and fried rangoons but make sure to save room for a piece of the piña colada cake. Two thumbs up.

Slower than molasses and clueless, owner, management and waitstaff. Food finally came after we complained we'd been waiting 45 minutes. Cold. Don't bother.

Quite a nice find while in town while visiting in-laws. We showed up during a downpour on Saturday at about 2:30. There were a handful of patrons and we were quickly seated. Drinks and orders were efficiently taken. The sisters were very welcoming and helpful with choices. Menu provides vegetarian options as well as burgers and fries for the kids. The soup of the day was cream of tomato. It was excellent. The hummus and flatbread appetizer was good and they were glad to provide additional flatbread when requested. The sandwiches all came with a side of your choice. All in all a very nice experience. While traveling it can often feel as though restaurant food is homogenous from one to the next, but the Garden Cafe's fresh and varied options will provide you with break from the bland.

Delicious food and a very pretty garden setting. We had the crab quiche, burger, and lemon cake for dessert. All are highly recommended! Ample parking, nice clean restrooms, and spacious seating. A welcome change from the cheap chains and low quality buffets plaguing the area. A local treat!

The only decent place in Highlands County. Beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food. The owner is very sweet and always makes sure the food and drinks is alright. This is my first go-to place when friends come to visit in town. If you are feeling a bit stressed and needing a place to relax and dine for some delicious food, definitely try this place out!!!!This restaurant never disappoints!!

I have been to the Garden Café on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed with the food or service. They offer great food that is fresh and seasonal. The atmosphere is inviting and the owners and staff make you feel like family. The only problem I have experienced is sticking to my diet once I see the freshly baked dessert of the day.

Went here for the first time today. Checked their website before going and it said breakfast served all day. When we arrived, they told us from 9-noon only. We were disappointed, but we adapted. The first three items my wife ordered were out of stock, so she settled on the crab quiche which she said was disappointing. I had the steak sandwich, which was served on flatbread. My sandwich was good, but not great and the portion was small considering that it was $12. My daughter had the kids cheeseburger. She said it was the best burger she ever had. The service was good and the atmosphere is terrific. Nice music and beautiful flowers all around. Nothing like it in Highlands County. I will definitely return to try some other menu items. I hear the breakfasts are awesome. I guess next time we'll get up earlier. ; )
