This is our second time here and I must say this is by far the best Italian food I've ever had! We had the lasagna and chicken Parmesan and it was so delicious! The house salad was incredible with the house dressing! We visit the area several times a year and will definitely be back! Judi and Jasmine are the best ! They checked with us throughout our meal to see if we needed anything! The limoncello cake is the best! The restaurant is wonderfully decorated and very inviting!

Pros: great food, excellent for vegetarians, customizable to taste and diet Cons: a bit loud, service could use some improvement. Overall: highly recommended We went on new year's eve. Called ahead to ask if they could accommodate vegetarians. After a short convo we already knew the place would be welcoming and the staff will be very friendly. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who also is the host and head chef. Even on NYE she took time to go through the menu with us and understand our dietary restrictions. Based on that she recommended linguini with veggies in carbonara and fettuccine in spicy Alfredo. Both dishes were amazing! I got the fettuccine which was accompanied with a healthy serving of variety of vegetables bathed in plenty of delicious alfredoness. I would have picked up the bowl and licked it clean. There was a slight lapse in service - we didnt get out table bread till we were half way done with our tomato bisques; we ordered mozzarella sticks which they forgot about till i reminded them; and we waited a long time between appetizer and entree. But since it was NYE and the food was being custom made for us, these errors were more than excusable. If i ever go to sebastian again, there is no doubt i will be returning to the italian cousin. In the meantime i will keep wishing i had a real italian cousin who could cook like that.

My wife and I went there the other weekend with some friends. We started off with Fried Mozzarella Sticks which were proclaimed excellent and a very tasty grilled Portabella Mushroom. 3 of the group opted for the Italian Cousin Salad, a chopped salad with a Gorganzola Vinegarette that they all liked. I haad the Italian Wedding Soup which was very good but a touch salty. For entrees my wife had Chicken Francese which she liked. 2 of us had Chicken Parmesan, which I felt disappointed me. It was a fried breast that had not been pounded thin and was dressed with a nice marinara sauce and some grated Parmesan cheese rather than the usual Mozzarella. For dessert I had the Canollis which were run of the mill and a Grappa.0 My wife had the Limoncello cake which she liked.

Family atmosphere, excellent service, PHENOMENAL food. I got there for the Early Bird menu and prices were beyond reasonable. House wine - I had the merlot - was quite tasty as well. We will be coming here again!

Amazing. Unusual that I can not find at least one thing I don't like but this restaurant exceeded my expectations on every level. As you enter you are greeted by a very friendly hostess and promptly seated. The atmosphere is Italian with heart warming quotes on placards on the walls, simple but we'll set tables with plenty of room between the tables so your meal is still intimate. The waiter was knowledgable and polite with a table side presence you would find at some of the better Manhattan restaurants. He included an explanation of the specials and suggestions of some of the house favorites. The chicken and shrimp piccata with the addition of fresh sautéed spinach was the best I have had since moving to Florida. I had the homemade lasagna, which is never easy to pull off, but they definitely do it well. Pasta was cooked just right with a good combo of meat and cheese. The picky person in our group was our 8 year old daughter who chose spaghetti and meatballs. She loved it. Great meatball, not filled with bread but full of flavor. Desert was superb as we shared the tiramisu and the flourless chocolate cake. Both were accompanied with a delicious homemade whip cream This little hidden gem is worth the trip. If your in town don't miss it. If you within driving distance, get in the car and go. You won't be disappointed.

Great Italian food. I had the lasagna and my wife had the chicken parmigiano. We both loved our meal and the staff was friendly and attentive. Hope they are still here next time we visit. Great food for the price.

Very nice menu. Food was very good. We had the eggplant Parmesan lasagna...it was exceptional. Also ordered the veal Parmesan. It was sliced thinly and cooked beautifully. Need some help on their wine selection. Only two Chianti's on the list - could have used a few others . No Grappa or Anisette either. Kind of must haves in an Italian restaurant. Go for the food.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
