Ate at the Sandbar. Atmosphere was wonderful overlooking the intercoastal waterway. Food was prepared well with nice portions. However, there is just a burger or chicken sandwich for a landlubber like me. My wife had fish and chips which she enjoyed. The main restaurant also offers very few non seafood choices.

Positives- ambiance of the sand bar was great. Live music on point and the feel was nice! Frozen drinks came out quick and in a cool cup you can keep. Had the fish and chips and never had it with mahi and was delicious! Server was friendly. Negatives- FOOD POISONING within 30min of leaving the place! My boyfriend and I were so sick!!! We believe it had to be from the margaritas we ordered as the sour mix immediately hit us when we were drinking them. Or it had to be the smoked fish dip. We ordered to start the seafood sampler which is extremely small and over priced. If it had not been for getting super sick I would've rated this place better. Was the worst way to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Especially since we had a hotel in the area and only went because they gave us free drink coupons. Bad idea.

The location is the main draw, we had the wings as a starter and they were delicious! The captain makes a mean wing, ask for them crispy buffalo style! For dinner the broiled scallops were OK the portion was pretty small for the cost. My wife had the Caesar salad and it was OK. Go here to enjoy the location and some drinks! Overall the location is great, the dinner portions leave something to be desired for the cost.

Food was just okay. You definitely go for the setting and the view. Best part of this place for me was they allowed my uncle to pull his boat right up and dock on the restaurant dock. That was something else. What a glorious moment.

Shocked at the bad reviews! I've been coming here for 10 years since my parents moved to Sebastian. We always have the best service! The food may not be top notch (hence the 4 stars), but definitely not terrible. The atmosphere cannot be beat! Great drinks, great deals and awesome staff. Absolutely love going to Hirams!

All I can say- YUM! I ate at the sand bar, it didn't have that many options. I chose the Captains Burger and the Conch Fritters. Soon enough, our server came back (I forgot her name, but she had long black hair) and told us the kitchen was backed up. It was a 45 minute wait, not worth it though. (Maybe because of the wedding they were hosting that night.) The burger was huge, nice and crispy. Fries were okay. But the conch fritters were totally over the top! Service was slow, but the band playing made up for it. Overall, the food was great, service was okay-slow, and everything else super. Thanks Captain Hirams!

Good beach type place, great place to meet friends have drinks look at the water and boats. We met some friends that we have not seen in a while for some drinks, they had a live band and tables both outside and inside. It was very windy and cool but they have the place set up with wind breakers and heaters so it was comfortable. We only had some drinks and a appetizer and it was very good but I can not comment on dinners as we did not have any. I would give it a try again if you're in the area and try something for dinner Next time.

I came here on a Saturday with my family. We sat in the air conditioned room. No one else was sitting in there. There is also non-ac seating on the water where most of the seating is and a sandbar with seating(with a limited menu). I woukd suggest sitting outside with the nice river view but my family preferred AC. We ordered the cracked conch, chicken wings and fried shrimp for an appetizer. The cracked conch was a special today. I've only had cracked conch once before and this didn't really meet the standard I had for it. The fried shrimp were pretty good though and my stepdad finished all the wings so I assume those were good too. Bread rolls were brought out, some seasoned with herbs and some plain. I tried the herb one and it was delicious. We also ordered pina coladas and a Miami vice. The pina colada was pretty good. My mom suggests getting the extra rum floater. As for entrees, I got the ahi tuna with a baked potato, steamed veggies and a house salad with vinaigrette dressing. My sister got the same. My mom and stepdad got the fried shrimp dinner with baked potatoes and veggies and one got a Caesar salad, one a house salad. And my sisters boyfriend got a burgee with waffle fries. I really enjoyed the tuna. It was seared really well and my baked potato and side salad was good too. The veggies had a lot of seasoning on them and no one finished them so they weren't that great. The fried shrimp dinners were devoured. super delicious. My mom did get a bad potato though and sent it back and got rice instead. Her side caesar salad was delicuous. The waitresses were very prompt at serving and the food came out quickly. Also, don't play the lobster catching game they there...the claw doesn't grab at all.

The only reason I'm giving this place any stars is because of it's location. It's right on the water. The food is terrible, as was the service. Our waitress didn't bring us waters - she didn't even offer it to us, we had to ask for them and even then, we only got two waters (we had a large group - it was strange). Although they tout the food as fresh, it isn't. I ordered the shrimp tacos and you could tell that the shrimp was frozen...gross. The salad was clearly dumped out of a bag. This place is a tourist trap mainly because of it's location. Bummer.

While falling into Earl's Hideaway for some NFL playoffs we met a gentleman from Minnesota that does Sebastian/Vero area every winter and he encouraged us to try Captain Hiram's. Supposedly, great for live music, there was none the day we hit the Captains. But with that said we enjoyed the outside bar we chose(there seem to be many..I did not explore as Law did..bar/seat/football/Tito's and conversation with others wrapped around the bar..I BE GOOD) We would truly make it a point to look up their live music for times we are heading down south and we are thinking of maybe doing a nite stay in this area as not only did it seem to have great people/places but the energy of it all was well worth taking time to explore it.. I would suggest you do the same and let me know of your adventures. P.S. It is great for families as well..warm weather offers water and beach water tables to eat and drink at.

Mediocre. It's a tourist trap. The food is ok, but it attracts people because the ambiance and view are great. We only go for the bar/music - food isn't really worth getting. It's your typical fried fish/seafood fare. Nothing special. We were excited to try brunch (and did on Valentine's Day). My husband's shrimp and grits was pretty great, but my benedict had shitty crabcakes and a broken hollandaise sauce.

Sadly, we went here for lunch today. Poor service and the fish tacos were WAY overcooked. What they did to that poor fish was criminal. The server must have been having a bad day as she was very snippy. I don't see any reason to go back, it was just not good food and a bad experience overall. It is nothing more than a pathetic tourist trap.

Food is poor and over priced. Outdoor menu is terrible. Fun place to have drinks and watch the band, but eat ahead of time.

This place is a fun restaurant. We stopped here on vacation for the fun outdoor beachy feel. The food was great and the kids loved it. I thought it was a little odd you could take strollers in the sand bar but hey whatever.

  • Marianne L.

Not what it use to be. The service was good. The view was nice. The smell from the rotting seaweed was bad when we first sat down but we got use to it. Crabcake sandwich was okay, but no lettuce or tomato. Fish and chips were also okay, but it was more like 4 fish sticks and waffle fries. Peanut butter pie was great. Overall, I doubt that we will go back. The food wasn't worth the price.

  • Rosemary D.

Cute affordable place by the water. Great music good drinks and the staff is awesome. Only reason I gave them 4 star is because they got my food order wrong, I ordered the lobster pasta but instead got the seafood pasta with hump and scallops which aren't my favorite. And plus the food could have been better. It was watery and a little heavy on the salt.

This place was Awesome when I visited 8 months ago on my first visit. Was Great this time but could've used a different waitress

We visited for the first time last week for lunch, I have to say the view was magnificent, food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent!! I would highly recommend the Cracked Conch and the Toes in the Sand drink!!

I love this place! I have not been here in years and yet it is exactly the same. Food was great, so was the Margarita.. Since I was staying at the Best Western, I received a free drink coupon. I rushed over and had my Margarita. My server Brittany was the best. She was able to split my check for business and pleasure. Since this was a business trip I only had a certain amount to spend for business and wanted to make sure Brittany got her gratuity . I ordered their Caesar salad with crab cake.... the best.

This is an excellent waterfront restaurant. You can even dock your boat, if necessary. Many people fish just outside the restaurant. There is also an outdoor area which resembles an island. The food and service are excellent. The sunrise is beautiful, which made for an excellent breakfast experience.

This isn't what I would call fine dining by any means, but it is a nice place on the water with a good view. I was only here for lunch, so dinner might be a different story. We had a party of 12 and the service was very good, in fact it couldn't be any better as far as I'm concerned. I had the Crab Cake sandwich with fries and cole slaw. The CC was ok, not stellar. It had a lot of crab taste in it, but something seemed off with it. Maybe it had something to do with the shape of said cake. It was too perfect, like it was molded, which it may have been?? I wonder if getting the broiled CC would have been different than the deep fried on I had. Oh well...the fried were ok too. They certainly could have been more crisp and since the restaurant is an open air restaurant, everything became cold too quickly. Not their fault since it was in the low 70's and windy that day. The cole slaw on the other hand was too dry and looked and tasted like every other cole slaw out there. Nothing special, just the normal fair. It's a good place for the view though!

Horrible and wish I could give it no stars. I live in DC and visited my cousin and her family a few weeks back and they took us here for a casual on the water dining experience. Out children were playing so we happy for that so I guess we lost track of time. The drinks arrived and everytime we ordered another we got sober waiting. Some food came but the main courses never did. We finally complained after about 2 hours and the server acted as if we had just come in. She finally came back and said the kitchen lost your order so she had to give it to them again. By this time we were walking up tot he bar to order our own drinks. Finally we cancelled the order because we had gotten there at 7 and it was 10 and the place looked like it was closing. Right before we left the food came and we said that we had cancelled the order and she was surprised. I was starving and grabbed a piece of fish off the tray and she said I will not tell them that you took that. I said you should be giving us this for free but instead your going to throw it out so tell the management whatever you want to I don't care. We barely made it to Burger King to grab the kids a burger before it closed. The bill was still $90 in drinks and appitisers. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible and what is it will all the chicks in Florida having tatoos. Not one tatoo but their arms legs all over. It's on the water, great location but horrible service fried crappy food. One of the worse experiences I even had in a restaurant and I lived in Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe for years. .

While visiting Sebastian with some friends we stopped at Hirams. Sort of touristy but heard locals talking too. Service was so so. One of our friends ordered the grouper special. Perhaps the most pathetic piece of "grouper" we'd ever seen. Wasn't even 1/4" thick and definitely overcooked. He even stressed to the server "Don't overcook it please.". He asked about the fish and was told that is how its prepared. Prices were very high for the quality. Never again captain Hiram.

Food was 2 stars, the live music and atmosphere make it a 3 stars. Although mainly a tourist center with people from all over, the theme is exactly as you might think by the name. Sandy beachfront with a boating theme. If you are looking for casual dancing and some entertainment (maybe from watching the drinking/dancing) do it, just eat elsewhere. Also the food for what you get is pricy. I paid $45 for basic white fish, with vegetables and a mash potato, plus one of their cocktails which was simply not good, capped of with their key lime pie! Overall my service was very good with two servers taking my requests; although when I was being seated there was a table of six who waived over the greeter/seater and said they hadn't had service for a half hour and needed some things. They were very unhappy! This place does well because there are a limited number of places in town and the only location open late, as everything else closes at 9pm!

Living beach-side and being a Floridian, we know exactly what "Cute place, right on the water. Nice view!" usually means: Greasy, fried, tolerable bar food. NOT the case when we decided to go to Captain Hiram's Sandbar for dinner about 9:00 one Tuesday evening. First, that we found a place open around here at that hour on a week night was a nice surprise. We are no stranger to eating and living on, and loving the Florid waters, but a good meal is a good meal. We had a good meal at CH's. I had fish tacos and coleslaw and hubby had wings. We had clam chowder and everything was good. The place is right on the river and the tiki bar and submerged, underwater dining tables, (we did not partake of those!), reminded us of a real local Jamaican island vibe. Jamaica is our home away from home so this was an unexpected surprise. Service was pretty slow, in true island-time fashion, but when you are someplace so chill with great views, there's no rush, Mon! Looking forward to having people in town so we have an excuse to go back!

Going with 4 stars here for the atmosphere, live music and sandbar, and the food is above average. Go here when down to see the folks, always good for a drink and appetizers. But for dinner we usually end up hitting somewhere else.

Love the safe and friendly atmosphere. One of the only local places I will go to alone.

  • C R.

I was looking forward to a nice lunch with family and friends today. Being from out of town, I trusted a friend who lives here locally when he chose this place for us. The view is nice if you get a seat by the water however, that is where the niceties end. If you are vegetarian or have food allergies you are severely limited in menu options. I had the choice of a house salad or an exorbitantly 3-some of soft tacos that were the same $ as their counterpart with mahi. When the manager came out to speak to me he said, "we have to cost them that way". As a consumer I am not looking for a business class, I am looking for value and a way to enjoy the same dining experience as those I am dining with... I expect more flexibility and understanding towards your patrons and less of your nickel and diming towards them. This place left me feeling sad and unwelcomed.

  • Kim H.

The food was ok and was genuinely trying to be good. We had breakfast and no one was wowed and only one was disappointed. The rating on breakfast would not have been 4 stars but for the great manager. The place looks like it would be happening during drinking hours ;)

The food and atmosphere are awesome ......it's a great day off to enjoy life on the beach only one flaw the service is always awfull I'm in the business it takes a lot to push my buttons but today the server was the worst

On Friday night 3 couples decided to go to Captain Hiram's. I was thrilled as my last visit was fabulous -I am from New York and I am not in Florida that often. When we arrived we sat inside. Our waitress took awhile to come over to the table, but we were waiting for the 3rd couple to arrive, after awhile we called the waitress over again to place our order. After awhile our apps arrived - my husband ordered the conch fritters -which were dry and way overdone. The dinners arrived -I had ordered ahi tuna black and blue my husband ordered the fish and chips. I cut into my tuna and it was frozen, ice cold inside....I called the waitress over and explained that the ahi tuna was frozen. She said " if you want I can call the manager over, but I will tell you now, it will still come out the same way" I was shocked that a waitress had no regard for the company that employs her. Tina, didn't want to help at all. I said please take this back and I will have a coffee and crab cake. After waiting 20 minutes and my friends now finishing dinner, Tina comes back with a styrofoam cup with coffee in it. Not even a new cup or the pot to pour coffee into my cup. I was floored to say the least. At that point I had it and said to cancel my order as everyone has finished eating now, just bring my check....she comes back and says "Oh, just so you know I took the two dinners off" like she was doing me a favor. I told Tina that I couldn't eat the first dinner, as it was frozen, and I waited long enough for the second dinner to arrive. She wasn't doing me any favors. Mine you she even charged me for the styrofoam coffee... We received the check and then we heard the music coming from the back and went outside. My husband went to the bar to order me a mixed drink. To add the final insult to this evening -the drink had glass in it. At this point enough was enough and we left. I will not be visiting nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and service.

The atmosphere is amazing however the service is a hot mess. The food is ok (nothing to rave about). I think it's a great place to have a drink with friends and family and listen to live music.

  • Elena M.

The food was very good. We shared the calamari which was excellent, the conch fritters which were okay, and the smoked fish dip also very good. I had the tuna steak for dinner which was pretty good. The cut had some fibrous areas but it was well dressed. The drinks were also good. I had the rocking Rita which was just a well done martini. Over all a very good experience and I would come back.

Have been going to captain hirams for dinner for many years. The view of the river is great. The quality of food has gone down and not worth going to for dinner anymore

  • Jose G.

Great clam chowder, fish dip was ok. Conch fritters are so-so. The grouper fish and ships were outstanding. Also the mahi with shrimp in lobster butter sauce is a real treat. Key lime pie is home made but could use some real key limes in it. The service like a key west place is kind of slow. Make sure you sit under a good fan in the summer for lunch as ir can get hot. Overall very good.

Absolutely awful!! We keep trying to give this place a chance but I really don't think we will ever go back. All we ordered was the fried shrimp and 2 diet cokes. Never saw our server again and when we hunted down a staff member she left for 15 minutes and said sorry no one knows what's going on! Wow!! Then while walking out our server was standing there holding a dog! Seriously?!

I have reviewed Hiram's before and find they consistently have the Best Eggs Benedict in the area. Today was no different and I included a Ruby Red Crush that was refreshing and had just enough Vodka. Normally i would give a 5 star but today our waitress did a very poor job. We saw her when she took our order and when it was time to pay. Never checked back to see if everything was okay, to offer drink refills, nothing. Prior visits service has been Great. I think she was new. I hope she improves. We are very generous tippers, however, not today.

We had lunch here today. I experienced my first taste of deep fried pickles. The pickles were in slices & the breafing was great. I had Caribbean jerk chicken wings. Very tasty & a little bit messy as most wings are. We sat outside and had a great view of the water & boats.

terrible across all fronts. For a seafood joint, not a lot to chose from that isn't DEEP fried. Server could care less. Outside Bar was the savior. Great place to sit and sip

Hands down the Worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. If I could rate this place with zero stars, I would. If you decide to take the risk and eat here make sure Tina is not your waitress. With her lack of attention, our experience was ruined before it ever began. We ordered the jalapeño margarita...it had multiple bugs in it. 15 min after the drink was dropped off she comes back around and we told her there were bugs, her response was "Ok". We had to tell her that we would like a new one. Another 10 min and a new one arrives without an apology. We then decided to place our order, 4 salads with shrimp and a bowl of the soup. Food was mediocre. I asked for a little more salad dressing and my sister asked for crackers with her soup. Tina returned with only the dressing. To finish the experience, we waited another 15 with our plates still in front of us looking for Tina. We asked another waitress to get our check. She aimlessly walked around looking for Tina. Needless to say to asked for the manager who looks 25, and did not know what to say other than sorry and she bought our drink. I will NEVER be back to this establishment again.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Forgot our appetizer. Manager did come out & apologize. Had to wait a long time for everything if she remembered it at all. First time in years I tipped 10% & shouldn't have given that much. Waitress was nice enough just seemed really out of it.

Captain Hirams is the perfect beach bar. We had the Buffalo shrimp to start, SUPER YUMMY!!! As entree's we ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken tacos. Both really, really good. I definitely recommend Capt Hirams if you are in the area!

Something's gone awry with the Captain's Quarters because nothing was even satisfactory during our stay in March 2015. We were surprised because it was nice 4 years ago. This time the room was dirty, construction noises start around 5 a.m., there's no services and the staff doesn't seem to give a hoot. When we checked out, the woman at the counter asked if everything was ok during our stay, and when we said no, she just ignored the comment and sent us on our way. I guess they all have a much better day, but for those darn customers. The restaurant and bar appear to be the mainstay of their business, and we ate at the restaurant, and waited an hour and a half for our main course. We finally had to cancel our order because it was getting late. All in all we were very disappointed.

Definitely a fan of this place!!! Been going to Captain Hiram's for years. It's a usual stop on my way to the airport in Melbourne. Their clam chowder is sooo delish!! They know how to do fish well. I have enjoyed a seared ahi tuna sandwich in the past, but this last trip I had Mahi tacos and they were really great!! The menu has a great selection of seafood and the view can't be beat. We always enjoy watching the fish jumping out of the water and the pelicans waiting for the scraps from fishermen. They have concerts and live music many nights. I have not attended any of those performances, but I would love to on one of my upcoming trips! Intercoastal water tours are also available. I have done the manatee/dolphin tour. Didn't see any manatees but plenty of dolphins. It was a chilly but pleasant ride. hightly recommend this place and all it has to offer.

Great people-watching on the weekends, the Sandbar is fun for drinks before dinner and apps. It is recently under new ownership and there are fewer drink options and menu items. We got the conch fritters last night and they def were not as good as the old ones. They were chewy and seemed like they has sand in them. The only thing on the dinner menu that is worth getting is the fresh fish. Last night I had the mahi tacos for the first time and they were pretty good and seemed to have all fresh ingredients. I usually get the boiled lobster tail which is always good. We asked the hostess to please put us at a table on the water when we went inside for dinner and even said we'd wait but they brought us to a regular table inside not on the water. This seemed to happen to several other groups as well who did not look happy. New owners definitely need to work out the kinks.

Awesome after hours joint with bars literally on the beach. If the weathers right and it's a weekend night head out the Capt. Hiram's. Not too good of a place for cold or rainy weather but otherwise perfect. Usually playing live music that's trendy and tasteful for all ages. The bouncers are very professional at maintaining a casual atmosphere to keep it friendly for the whole family, everytime I've been I've seen people dancing by the stage, couples mingling in the small and covered tiki huts near the water or enjoying a drink at the bar, people enjoy drinks at one of the many tables or can sit in the sand and talk with the sound of the waves washing ashore.

The food was very good. No complaints there. Atmosphere is pretty cool. In my opinion the temperature was uncomfortable. They say us under a fan that was not working. Also we had a large party and the waitress didn't bother asking if we wanted separate bills. That was very inconvenient

We visited Captain Hiram's during a trip to Melbourne. It was a little late on a Thursday night and the restaurant was almost empty. Two of us chose blackened Wahoo and two chose grilled Gouper. The Wahoo was good, but the grouper was excellent. the sides were typical. The restaurant was quite dark and while we sat by the water, was too dark to see anything. Overall, good, but not great food and ambiance.

My family and I came here for lunch a few months ago. We were highly disappointed. After 15 minutes of being seated not one person came by to ask us for a drink order. There were only three tables being used including ours. The menu is spotty at best did not show any available sides for the main courses or drinks that are non alcoholic. After 20 minutes we got up and left and still not one person said hello or goodbye. I came here in 2008 and booked the honeymoon suite for 2 days after I got married and it was wonderful. The bar was supurb and the menu had options. Since then I have visited 16 times to eat and not once have I had a good experiance. I would not recommend this restraunt.

  • Nick M.

I had the worst Hirams service experience of my life last night...I hope it was only because of the new POS system. The manager explained that the bugs were being worked out, but I suspect this to be just another excuse...by the steamed clams were rubbery and way overcooked

  • Erin L.

Great atmosphere, especially on live music days/nights. Food and drinks are decent/good but I think the key west feel of the place wins you over. Drinks are very weak and not sure if they use jiggers but could work on satisfying the customer a little more in this area. I enjoy the outside sand bar instead of the inside restaurant which has a different menu. Cool little gift shop at the front of the place too !

This place was a surprise gem! It's a club with live music and sand for a floor. Tropical environment, right by the water, good food and tasty drinks. Prices are reasonable.

I'm not from Sebastian, but I have family there. Every time we visit, we try to hit Capt Hiram's at least once. The atmosphere is great. I had an intimate lunch with my wife on one occasion then back again for dinner with my whole family. The food has gotten better. And they have a much better beer selection now, especially with the craft beer bar out in the sandbar area. The service is still so-so. It's hit or miss on the type of wait staff you'll get that evening. Sometimes it's OK, other times it's terrible. But at least this time two managers stopped by at every table to check on things.

Hotel staff was great. But sand bar service was poor at best. Lots of noise at hotel. After a few sleepless nights it was time to find a more peaceful hotel. Really two stars may be under stretched but thee would be too much.

Looking for seafood in Sebastian. This is a decent place to start. The restaurant has an open air deck with a lovely view of the river. Since it is located as part of a resort the prices are a little higher than the food quality would suggest, but still within reason. There are occasionally live bands on the scene. Overall, a decent place to put down some fish.

Good food. Have had great service in the sand bar area in the past but our larger party inside seemed to frustrate our server. Her automatic gratuity perhaps allowed her to slack on service? Oyster shooters weren't that great. Good wings, spinach dip, outstanding clam chowder, nice cocktails (zombie & painkiller were tasty). Fish tacos were also great. A little pricey but still better than squid lips. :)

I love the view! I love the menu! I love sitting in a comfy chair staring at the inter coastal with sand between my toes. I love coming here for Breakfast - though I think they could move to 5-star territory with a redo of their Bloody Mary. This place is terrific... and worth the drive up from Vero.

We were invited to a friends wedding here. This was our first time here for some of us so we decided to make a weekend out of it. We stayed Friday thru Sunday; what an incredible time! Our room was clean, spacious, well decorated and had a balcony. The front desk staff was great....very friendly and attentive. Our time at the Sand Bar and the restaurant were so fantastic we are all going to do it again. The food at the reception was very good, that was the going rate with everyone there. I would recommend coming here with a group of friends as we did; it just makes it that much better.

Great view and friendly staff. The crab stuffed lobster was Delish! The menu has a wide variety and at sunset, there are hundreds of fish in the water to keep the kids entertained. We had 2 adults and 6 kids and the bill was $201 without dessert or cocktails.

Oh Captain, my Captain! You had me at the $20 lobster special. Great food at a decent price. We went later at night and it was a bit chilly in the restaurant, so make sure to bring a coat so you don't get blown by the wind. We will be back!

The only thing lacking with this place was the choice in men. Three single girls get dolled up and take a $40 each way cab to Sebastian. When you're under the age of 65 and staying in Vero, Sebastian is about as close as "night life" as you're going to get. Needless to say, we were sorely disappointed with the lack of eye candy. That being said, this bar is fabulous. Where else can a New Englander drink Yuengling with a gorgeous waterfront view and sand on her freshly pedicured feet? The live music was perfect. On our next excursion to Vero, I'm pretty sure we will give Captain Hiram's another shot. The ambiance alone is worth the cab ride.

Ok so, the sand bar atmosphere is GREAT, let me just get that out of the way. If you're looking for somewhere to go in sebastian on a friday or saturday night (and you have some money to burn), this would probably be your best bet. That being said, the food here is awful. It IS possible to have a great atmosphere and good food (there are plenty of places on the beach side who do so). If you are looking to get sea food STAY AWAY. When people tell me they don't like seafood I always think its because they've only tried it at places like this. It's by no means fresh and they prepare it in such a way to mask it (which they obviously still suck at). If you can't get fresh seafood on the coast, you are just LAZY and don't care about the quality of food you serve.

Lovely view! I could get use to this...This restaurant is right on the water with a beautiful scenery of boats, fish and dolphins!! It was wonderful sitting by the open window and eating dinner while dolphins swam by. The food itself was decent. I didn't care for my crab cakes too much but my mother enjoyed the mahi mahi tacos and my dad enjoyed the seafood pasta! On the other side of the restaurant was a bar with live music playing. The people there seemed like they were having a good time. It was very nice to take a stroll on the tiny pier afterwards- very relaxing dinner :)

We've enjoyed stopping at Hirams before and after the Hurricanes of '04, the dock hands were always there to help us tie up, the food is good and the music is great. We like eating at the sand bar, it's directly on the water, sand floor and where the band stands are. The biggest appeal for us is the atmosphere, so if I'm going to Hirams, I do it when the weather is good. The crowds seem to be a good mix of tourists and locals. The anchoring in the area is pretty shallow, we've dropped hook off the islands before, but then you're too close to the ICW and get a lot of wake action. If you're draft is shallow enough, you can carefully pick your way off the ICW to the south of the islands and then drop hook to the east of the islands. Hirams is exactly a one day sail from our home port in Cape Canaveral, so it's a good place to drop hook at the end of the day and relax at the sand bar and wind down.

I've been here a lot, but haven't reviewed it so here goes. I usually come here for the concerts, but occasionally just to have a drink and see what cover band is playing. It gets crowded, really crowded. Younger demo, mostly 20's-30's. Service can be spotty by the barstaff. I have yet to order food, but selection seems ok. Prices might be a bit high depending on what you expect as quality food. Location is great, right on the river with dock access for your boat if that's your thing. Beers on tap leaves much to be desired, but full liquor and they make some nice fruity girl drinks. It's a must to check out when in the Sebastian area. Lots of parking nearby, but like I said before it gets really crowded so your options might be limited as the sun goes down.

Has the potential to be the perfect tourist spot. The positives; Awesome view, saw dolphins just off the large dock. All in one atmosphere - can rent boats, wave runners, tours... restaurant, bar, entertainment, excellent layout. Staff overall very friendly... our server was super cool, second bartender was awesome. The not so nice; Quality of food - mussels were gritty, conch fritters overcooked, scallops also over cooked (the home made potato chips were the highlight). We chose to move from our dining table to beach end of the property... unfortunately, we could not get service over here at 5pm and had to walk back and fourth for refills. Pretty annoying when your party is there to drink and spend good money, when we requested a server were were told the shift in that section doesn't start till 7p. Bathroom is rather scary - very poorly lit and gives the "dive bar" feel. I really wanted to love this place, as the first impression was setting it up to be fantastic. We still spent several hours there... and quite a bit of money. We were brought by a local friend who thought we'd find some relief from two days we spent indoors from the storms. I could see this being a great night spot for drinks and entertainment . There was no live entertainment while we were there (mind you, a weekday afternoon). Please just upgrade your restrooms.

Wow. What to say? Come here if you like terrible food and some of the slowest service on the planet (waited once for over forty five minutes for a drink after having been seated by our waitress - and yes, she was our waitress) while being accosted by mosquitoes? The upside? A beautiful view of the river and good music at the Sand Bar.

One of the best bars and restaurants in Florida. A really great restaurant with good food, nice sports bar area and a killer outdoor tiki bar. Rivals even the best Key West bars, IMO.

Bar and restaurant right on the beach, great view. I had the steak and ahi tuna special. The steak was great but the ahi tuna was fully cooked through, not seared rare like I had asked. My co-worker had the grouper which he seemed to enjoy. Live band helped make it a fun atmosphere.

My husband and I went here for a dinner date and we really enjoyed ourselves. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was divine! Best I have ever had! The atmosphere was very nice for a date with candle light at the tables right on the water. Next to the restaurant is the bar with live music and a dock for boaters to come in on. I enjoyed all my food and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Nice florida ambience with a great view. Had the fresh grouper and it was very good and simply prepared. Bought a great picture in the gift shop that was on an amazing sale. Good musician in the bar/beach area. All - in - all -- a good place to take visitors to eat, drink and be merry.

We had a terrible experience tonight. In our group of 13, and it took over an hour for all our drink orders to make it to the table. They were also unable to provide silverware for 45 minutes, so our bread and appetizers were hard to enjoy. For our main order: 8x Cheeseburgers--two were forgotten entirely, two had the wrong side dish, and the server couldn't remember which burgers were well-done v. which burgers were rare, which caused a bit of drama and plate swapping. Crab cake sandwhich--waitress brought the crab cake dinner plate, which costs about $10 more. We had to point out the error and still got charged for the full price. Stuffed shrimp--came late, and with the wrong side dish. Fish tacos--the only order that was on-time and correct. They were so-so. 2x Chicken and waffles--totally forgotten. They put in the order with the 2 late cheeseburgers. We literally had 4 people (all children) who sat there and had to watch the rest of the family eat because their food was forgotten. Fortunately, they didn't charge us for the food they forgot, but they did charge for a Sam Adams draft that took over an hour to get to the table! We used to go here all the time when our Grandparents first ventured to Florida in the late 90s, so now that all the grandkids are older, our group of 13 decided to try it again after an 8-year hiatus. Guess we can cross it off our list for good!

I stopped by Hirams this year as I do every year and was not impressed. We only had a couple drinks, but decided to eat dinner elsewhere. We came back later for some live music and the place was really dead, the drinks weak and expensive. This used to be the funnest place in Sebastian and that made up for its high prices and only okay food, but now with Earls Hideaway and The Tiki Bar having entertainment, water view, and a fun beach feel there is no real reason to go to Captain Hiram's anymore.

Five years ago, this was pretty much the only "show in town," so as a local of over 25 years, you just put up with the crappy food and grossly overpriced drinks. Sure... A miller lite might be priced ok during happy hour, but oh boy... try ordering some rum drink that has a name... You better have the Bank along with you!!! I know a fellow from Michigan on vacation who sat at the bar and ordered up "The Seafood Sampler." A couple of this and a paltry serving of that. Ridiculous small amounts of "tourist food" for around $38.00!! He didn't bitch, he simply asked for the manager, and said "for almost forty bucks, you need to bring me out a little more food." I don't blame him. They actually did give him a little more, but then ASKED HIM TO LEAVE AND NOT COME BACK!!! I assure you... This is a true story. I heard it from a few of his friends on different occasions. So NOW THANKFULLY, there are other choices.

The food was absolutely disgusting. Friend had the filet, which came out gummy, slimy, with a foul smell and dosed with a large amount of some sort of salty mushroom gravy. The blue cheese smelled like it had gone terribly bad sometime last week, and we LOVE steak and blue cheese. We sent it back, got another one which came out without the cheese, and it was just as terrible. It wasn't a case of "I don't like this cut", or "This is a little dry', no this looked, smelled, and tasted TERRIBLE. My salad had shriveled brown lettuce in it, overcooked, dry, tasteless "blackened" mahi. Another member of our party had some overcooked shrimp nonsense. The band was apathetic, played a song and wandered off several times, which was ok as the they weren't great anyway. Drinks were overpriced and not strong enough to make us ignore the stank of the steak.

Two stars might be a bit harsh for this place. But three might be a stretch too. The idea is grande: a half tiki bar, half boat dock entertainment venue with a pretty decent location. Unfortunately, the drinks were terrible and expensive, and the food wasn't good enough to bring it back to par. Here's the breakdown: The venue: Actually, pretty cool. The bars are outdoors and tiki-style, and there's a beach to drive your boat up to if you're out. The beach isn't much to look at, but the wind off the ocean feels pretty grande if you get a decent seat. The entertainment was pretty good - there was a three-man-band with a eclectic style that knew everything from Bob Marley to 311 to 1990's rock. The service: Slow. And not terribly helpful. As a regular Joe on a regular budget, I appreciate knowing the prices of things, in particular drinks. The fact that there are no prices on the menu tends to be a good indicator that the prices are secret for a reason, but not always, so I typically ask. When I'm told "I don't know," I usually buy a test drink. In this case "umm...uhh..." was the response. Later, I found out that means "I don't want to tell you." THAT is disrespectful, and far worse than just "I don't know". What's worse? The drinks were worth it. That's all you need to know about this section. The margaritas tasted like saltwater, and the rum drinks tasted like..well..cheap rum. The food was meh. The conch fritters were ok, although they were 3/4 "Hush Puppy" and MAYBE 1/8 conch fritter. I wouldn't complain about them, because they tasted pretty decent. And I also can't speak to the food, because i was too busy. Busy bolting out the door after the check came to $42 for three drinks and a conch fritter appetizer.

Decent food, decent service, nice setting. Really nothing special after the setting. Bonus tip: The guy making the animals out of the palm fronds is immensely talented. He's there November through May.

This place similar to squid lips. Key west style, great atmosphere next to the river. We were there for lunch. My girlfriend had the chicken salad wrap. I had the blackened Mahi sandwich. Great place to eat. This was our second time there. Service this time was much better then our first visit. Lisa was a really great server. We come to Sebastian often from Orlando, we will be back here.

We came to Captain Hiram's on Saturday and our experience was wonderful. We were seated quickly, right on the water. We could see catfish and pelicans right outside our seat. Our server Lyne came over to us right away and got our drink order. I was unsure what I wanted but knew I wanted a coconut drink holder (that you can keep!). I'm picky about drinks and Lyne helped me pick out one that was just right. My husband ordered a beer, in a specialty cup that you can take home and also get cheaper refills. We both ordered ice waters as well. We ordered the ahi tuna appetizer and a side order of loaded fries with sour cream on the side. The ahi tuna was seared and seasoned perfectly. They even gave chopsticks to eat it! We were still munching on the loaded fries when our dinners came. Husband ordered the swordfish with a baked potato and fresh veggies (green beans and cauliflower), and I ordered the stuffed shrimp also with a baked potato and fresh veggies. The baked potato is served with sour cream and butter. My meal was fantastic. The shrimp were stuffed with a stuffing similar to crab cake. My only wish was a little more spice (give me that old bay! ( MD born )) but they were still great even without the extra seasoning. Husbands meal was also fantastic. The swordfish was grilled and he chose the lobster sauce to top it. The sauce is fantastic (can be a little heavy on the garlic). The veggies were cooked to a slight crisp. Just the way I like them (no soggy vegetables here please)! The baked potatoes were also very good! As if that wasn't enough food we also ordered dessert! A slice of key lime pie to split. Everything about this pie was fantastic. A nice dollop of whipped cream and a lime (possibly green apple, but that's my take) sauce on top. With a slice of lime to top it off. Lyne helped make our experience wonderful. She even offered to clean and bag my husband glass at the end of the meal, mine didn't need cleaning. After we were done dinner and dessert in the restaurant we headed over to the bar to catch the end of the playoff game going on. The bar staff were very friendly and they had plenty of TVs to see the game from wherever you sat in the bar. They also had love music going on! Overall our experience definitely deserved five stars!! We went back Tuesday and our experience was not so great. We were seated right away again. This time we had to wait almost ten minutes before our server, Roxy, even came over to us. I ordered a water and Husband ordered another beer. It seemed like with whatever we ordered this time it took longer than usual to get. We ordered another appetizer, the conch fritters. They were interesting. Mostly bread with some very chewy conch pieces. Not sure if I would order them again. They were served with a sauce similar to spicy mayo. For dinner I ordered the swordfish this time and husband ordered the broiled seafood trio( shrimp scallops and tilapia). Both again came with the fresh veggies ( cauliflower and green beans again) and baked potato. The swordfish was great again and husband really enjoyed his meal as well. However this time my veggies tended to be on the colder side, like they had been sitting before she brought our plates to us. Also I don't think my baked potato was cooked all the way through, had some hard spots. We also ordered the Key Lime Pie again, fantastic again. I felt like we were neglected tonight because our server thought she would get a bigger tip from the 8 top next to us, a two top. So on Tuesdays outing I would only give three stars. Fours stars overall.

Yes, it's touristy. Yes it is a bit pricey. Yes it is a lot of fun. When ever you walk into a "joint" and there is a guy weaving things out of palm frones you just know this is going to get interesting. They have a lot of things that are of the typical tourist trap stuff, high priced gift shop, drinks in buckets, yup a guy weaving things........but the view.ahh. The food though pricey wasn't to bad either. Service, well, they ALL know how to work it but heck it makes for a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed sitting outside and the weather cooperated nicely. I recommend parking in the lot across the street as it gets crowded quickly and the lot adjacent to the building is small. It's definetly worth a look.

Forgive me Yelp, but I didn't check with you. I didn't think Sebastian could possibly have anything else to offer but this longtime 'beach bum' stronghold. But, I also figured they would have upped the quality of their food by now and not just continued relying on their fantastic location (it's basically a restaurant that sits on the beach), its Key West-style casual atmosphere, and live music offerings (including national acts like Sister Hazel). Though the seafood seemed fresh and well cooked, blandness unfortunately prevailed, from the mahi mahi sandwich (only rescued by large dollops of mayo) to the fish and chips kids order to the special, a sandwich with a strange shrimp and lobster patty. Even after sending it back to be cooked more and generous amounts of pepper, it was still tasteless. Washing it down with a Sam Adams on tap helped, but at $5 a glass? Only after coming home did I realize there are other (more highly rated) restaurants nearby. Lesson learned.

This is a great place to arrive to by boat. Sebastian inlet is just a short boat trip away with Caribbean blue waters and a great sandbar. Captain Hiram's has a great bar, restaurant and hotel. The hotel is very clean, well maintained with comfortable beds and the staff is very friendly. It has a great location on the river. Had breakfast riverfront with our own impromptu dolphin show on the river. The atmosphere is great with live music and the Sandbar! The drinks and food are good and reasonably priced, however the service is somewhat slow.

The bands are great but the food is not that good. Don't come here expecting to get good service or good food. Only come here for the sand bar, drinks, and music. I have been there 3 times and the first 2 times I ordered food and was disappointed to include everyone in our party. My wife is a local and said its always been that way. So, Capt'n Hiram's get some good food and you'll be 5 stars!

  • Sheryl S.

If you know what you are getting when you go to Capt. Hiram's you will always have a great time. Cannot beat the atmosphere and location, the food isn't what keeps me going back though. This is a stop I almost always make when visiting home it becomes a day activity not just a meal and who doesn't love a place you can drive your boat too! They have a lot of dock space for people coming in and I love being able to come in off the water for a good drink and some grub. The only thing at Capt. Hiram's I think is really great is the conch fritters. They do a great job with them here and I enjoy how they are small fritters instead of the monster ones from other places, makes it a lot easier to eat. Otherwise the food is so-so, but again that is not why you are going. On a sunny, warm day you can't beat pulling into Capt. Hirams for a bit of time off the water!

Gee, a waterfront bar's drinks are overpriced? WHO KNEW??!! We had a couple drinks here during happy hour in February, upgraded to Patron from the rail swill, paid happy hour 2/1 prices, enjoyed the drinks, enjoyed the views, enjoyed the atmosphere. THAT'S WHY WE CAME HERE. Mostly an older tourist crowd of snowbirds, as expected in Florida in Winter. Once again, no surprise (to the conscious). Everybody seemed to get along at the Sandbar. I am constantly amazed at how crestfallen some reviewers get because they don't attain nirvana at a bar or a restaurant. Take it for what it is and enjoy. We did.

My parents live in Melbourne and since I am not from around the space coast I really dont know what there is to do there. A friend brought my to Captian Hirams and we had a blast. I love the way the place is set up and its right on the river. You really feel like you are in a tropical bar, something out of a Jimmy Buffet song. The drinks are a bit on the expensive side. They can probably get away with it since there is nothing else to do around there. I did eat there, but I will be honest, I was too drunk to really give a realistic review on the food. When I'm drunk I will give taco bell 5 starts. I plan on going back over Christmas when I'm home to visit.

Visited the Captain's for first time. Place had a great vibe with lots of bikers stopping for light beers on a Sunday afternoon. Beers and drinks (especially the $5.00 Cuervo Margaritas) were great. Good local band and nice service. What I don't understand is why more attention (and marketing) is not made to the fact that this place has been named in honor of a Captain (Hiriam Collins) who was killed during the invasionNormandy. I'm not 80 but I revere those who fought for us in WW2 - as we all should. The owners/partners of this fine establishment should do more to advertise how and why they selected this name - and invite all local WW vets to enjoy a Sunday afternoon at their very, very fine, and fune establishment. If you're anywhere in the greater Vero Beach area, this place is a must!

The food is marginal, fish tacos were dry and bland. Blackened Prime Rib Sandwich was ok, but skimpy and could have used an interesting condiment of some sort. No creativity at all. Burger was good, seasoned fries were not very well seasoned. However the Cold Beer and view somewhat made up for the food. If you are just looking to have a few beers, it is 4 Stars.

As a tourist, I loved the atmosphere. Yes, the food could have been a little better for the price, but overall it was a great place to hang out. There is indoor seating, outdoor seating, multiple bars, a boat to eat dinner in, seats that look over the lagoon, upstairs dining. There's got to be something to please everyone here. Our waitress was not the greatest, but she was honest when we asked questions that she didn't know the answers to. Highly recommended for a place to sip drinks and take in all that Florida has to offer.

If you are a tourist this is where you will want to be. OVER PRICED everything. Food not very good, but so expensive. Mulligans is so much better and Squid Lips is better also, but you tourist keep going there so we can go to the better places

This is a very cool beach bar. I love the concept and the uses of old boats for seating, pylons with cushions for bar stools, surf boards for counters... etc. The service can be hit or miss. But we've always enjoyed going here, and will go again the next trip to Sebastian.

This is a super-nice place to visit. The food is a bit pricey, but it is excellent, especially my Maryland Crabcakes (my home state fare). The open dining with a view to the Indian River is priceless. They had a limited, but excellent desert tray selection. If you love seafood and dining on the water, this is the place to visit. I will definitely return to Captain Hiram's.

Bleh. Overpriced, TERRIBLE service, even worse food. We've been here 3 times and it's been progressively worse each trip. Sat in the sand bar area and ended up having to clean off our table ourselves because our server was nowhere to be found and none of the other staff knew where she was. When she finally appeared (15 minutes later), she went over to a table of people who had just sat down (apparently friends of hers) and talked to them for several minutes before I finally had to go over and ask her for our menus. She was rude and didn't even pretend to care about how long we had been waiting. It was next to impossible to find her to flag her down, and each time it was 10-15 minutes before she would return with our drinks (she brought us the wrong drinks twice so we ended up having to order them at the bar and bring them back to our table). Then she got our appetizer order wrong. When she finally brought out the correct apps, the food was cold. By this time, we just wanted our entree. Over 20 more minutes later, the food came out and our fish was rubbery, our fries were cold, and my daughter's plate had a hair on it. We couldn't find our server at all after that, and we had to ask another to send our food back to the kitchen for another try. It wasn't even very good the second time out. We ended up spending over $60 and leaving still hungry because we couldn't even finish the stingy portions we managed to get on our plates. We called and complained to the manager when we got home, and he apologized and offered us coupons for us to come back again and we ended up giving them away - we won't be back. Not at all what we expected for the pricey menu ($14 for 4 tough, shriveled up, nearly burnt "Lobster Bites" is their idea of an appetizer? c'mon). The drinks are overpriced and below average - another time when my wife and I visited, the beer was temped and the margarita I ordered tasted like lemonade and had MAYBE a light squirt of tequila. Even their drink "specials" are nothing special. A party of 4 at the table next to us sent food back and had the manager at their table getting an earful about the food quality and service. Seems to be a recurring theme at this place. Look, we weren't expecting a 5-star restaurant, but we've lived here for a while and have had better service and food at Waffle House at 4 a.m. Bottom line, Captain Hiram's is a good venue to go see live music, but fails miserably as a restaurant. People who don't mind throwing fists full of money at the bar all night trying to get buzzed off their watered-down drinks won't mind. For everyone else, there are other places nearby (i.e., Squid Lips, Mulligans) with better service, food, and prices that are more interested in a good customer experience than a quick & dirty tourist cash-grab. Don't be misled by the average 3-star rating - it would be lower if the 27 filtered reviews were counted in that average. Hmm, I wonder how long it'll take my review to get flagged by a Captain Hiram's employee too?

The atmosphere is a 5, but the service and food are a 2/3. They only make it based on there location. The food quality varies along with the service. The restaurant sits right on the river, there is indoor and outdoor seating. They have live bands on the weekends.

Good entertainment, some well know bands from time to time. A bit pricey on their drinks & food! The food actually sux....which is sad for such a nice atmosphere and river setting!

The atmosphere is great, as it sits on the Indian River Lagoon. You can occasionally feel the seabreeze sweep in. The food is alright, certainly nothing to write home about. It is just average food. When you eat here you are definilty paying for the atmosphere. I do love the place just because it is what it is.

I didn't eat much here but I got talked into trying the dirty oysters (I had never had oysters before) and now I'm addicted. Since I don't live close I can't actually have them all the time so I end up daydreaming about them and when I can return constantly!

Annual family reuion includes lunch at this island type restaurant bar place that is an anchor business for Sebastian. Mahi Mahi wraps, conch fritters, fish spread, crab chowder and sweet potatoe fries! Open air deck overlooks panoramic view of marina and Indian River. the Sand Bar offers island dancing, drinking, concerts.

This place is for tourists. Overpriced food and drinks.

Group of us headed down to The Sandbar for a change of venue. We grabbed a booth to get some grub and when the waitress looked at my ID she says "Oh Carolina. Are you from north or south?" To which I reply - "It's California." Terrible service, especially considering she only had a couple of tables. Everyone's food was decent - it's a beach bar, that's what you get. The waitress was no where to be found - ever, lagged on everything and when we asked her for 1 more round and our tab - she never brought any drinks. But whatevs - you go here on a Fri night to hang out & listen to the band. Who weren't 1/2 bad. There are 3 bars and scattered tables. The crowd had a good mix of peeps, everything from someone's 21st B-Day group, to grouchy old men, locals & tourists. We were having a grand ole time until we saw some trashy NY couple w/ their kid strapped into a stroller w/ a jacket AND a blanket covering its face. Classy. They were hanging out w/ another younger couple whose 18 month old was crying and scared (11pm, 3 feet from the stage - I seriously almost punched the guy in the face), of course not as awesome as their other friend drunk, w/ a toddler on his hip and a drink in hand. We were all pretty disgusted about it, and when I asked security how it's even legal to have babies in a bar, he kinda shrugged and said "Well it's technically a restaurant so it's an open bar and we're not happy about it either." We got to get our booty on, sing along to the cover band and March Madness on the tv's. Got to cheer Florida losing (totally got yelled at & flipped off by a group of douches at the bar for that!) - yeah I may live here now but FL college teams can Suck It!!! Except for the overwhelming desire to call DCF we had a good time.

Were it not for the location, this place would have gone out of business a long time ago. Food sucks and drinks are way over priced.

we ate there last year and the place is awesome. quite 'touristy' and packed( at least when we were there) but they have great fish and chips.

The view makes this all worthwhile. Their food was pretty good, though the kids fish and chips was a little chewy. The staff was very attentive and their zombie drink rocks. We did get bitten by the no see ums thought.

You go to Hirams for the view and bands. The food's a solid OK, but that's about it. They do have a nice gas fire pit on the beach, so you can sit out on the beach chairs around the fire at night.

Very nice atmosphere, nice views overlooking the Indian River lagoon area, friendly wait staff and good seafood presented in a old Florida casual atmosphere. It is a good stop for a good meal - a little on the pricey side but it is a tourist destination so that is to be expected.

We had a great lunch there a couple of days ago! My spouse had the scallops and I had fish and chips. We both raved about the flavors and portions, and decided that it would definitely be a favorite lunch stop when in Sebastian. Also very pleased with the decor and service.

Fabulous location right on the river. Had the clam chowder and it was very tasty and hot. Also had the stuffed flounder which was very good. The fish was flaky and the stuffing was seasoned well. The mahi mahi wrap was satisfying. Would go here again.

If you are a tourist this is a good stop. Go for drinks and a munchie. The food is not good but the Florida atmosphere is worth the stop. Ignore the bad food and poor service and sip your yummy cocktail and take in the view.

Let's be honest, Capt. Hiram's sucks. The service is inexcusably bad. The food, worse than average for a beach bar. Expensive and chaotic, a noisy hot mess, it just isn't worth the hype. Let the tourists suffer here, head down to Earl's for the real fun.
