What a true hidden gem! You must venture out for the ice cream here...the best in Sarasota and beyond! Without a doubt, hands down, an awesome and unexpected ice cream experience...creamy delicious and made fresh every day on-site. Always chocolate and vanilla, with other flavors changing every few days. Bill and Emily the local owners are first class folks...and their following goes well beyond the local community. People drive up from Naples, and down from Orlando with coolers to stock up! Their lunch specials can't be beat, with prices you will love, thus you will find them as a restaurant and not only an ice cream rendezvous. Stricklands originated in the Midwest...but they are now a winning sweet spot in Florida. Give them a try!
