We went here LATE last night and let me tell you what a GREAT place to go. We were hungry and to our surprise they were still serving food at 10:30 p.m. We ordered the ribs and at first I thought they looked fatty but they only had a little fat on them and the flavor was really good, a medium sweet flavor. They gave us samples of ALL their sides and each one had their own unique flavor. Cheesy Redskin Potatoes were actually CHEESY; Jalapeno Cheese Grits were some of the best grits I have had in Florida; Dill Cole Slaw (I am not a big cole slaw fan) but LOVED this version, and Angel Beans, not sure what all was in them but they were very good. They only sell beer and wine but that wasn't a problem for us. The owner was very friendly and down to earth. They were playing 50's, 60's, & 70's music and videos. What a great time! We will be back!!!

We had Poki Joes cater two pre-wedding dinners that we hosted for approximately 40 people. The first night they delivered pulled pork and roasted chicken, with sides like Mac & cheese and baked beans. Everything was piping hot and delicious. We served it buffet style and there were rave reviews! I think the two items that were most complimented were the pulled port and the beans. Boy did we hear about the beans -everybody LOVED then! The next night we had a served dinner of shrimp risotto and chicken Marsala and cheesy potatoes and bread sticks. Another big hit. Their servers were extremely friendly and professional. The China and flatware were clean and looked great. Another big hit! If we have an event we would call him first! I look forward to going there and having some pulled pork!

It didn't kill me, it only made me stronger. Would not recommend. Peg leg Pete is nice an all but his street meats might give you the street shits. Ps the brownies taste as bad as they look
