Heading back to Tampa from Longboat Key, the family and I were famished. We were desperately searching for a viable option. I saw a KFC off University & thought that I could push past intestinal trauma out of my mind long enough to scarf down a few pieces of Original Recipe. We pulled into the plaza to discover a pizza place. This seemed a tad more palatable than the Colonel's finest, so we trudged to the door in our beach garb. Closed. We were just about to resign ourselves to fried chicken when we spotted Peaches. It looked like a cute little cafe, which seemed light years ahead of KFC. We were seated promptly without a second glance from the lady up front, even though we were damp, sandy, and our faces must have betrayed us as starving sub-humans. Sat, ordered the club sandwich (wife), chocolate chip pancakes (son), and tuna melt (me). I subbed a small salad for the fries, which afforded me the opportunity to try their creamy horseradish dressing. Yum. Maybe it was due to our empty stomachs, but everything tasted magnificent. Service was friendly, fast, and efficient. This could have been one of those right-place-right-time situations, but I have absolutely zero complaints about Peach's. Would I drive there from Tampa just to go there again? Probably not...but if I'm headed back from the Sarasota beaches and hungry, I'll be a repeat customer.

We went here for breakfast on a Thursday morning. My fiancé had the burrito and I had the baja wrap, both were sloppy messes and made us feel sick afterward. Staff was unfriendly.

This place was busy, but we chose to sit at the counter rather than wait for a table. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and acted like they enjoyed working at Peach's, something I'm sure the management would like to hear. It is evident by the sign over the phone, imploring staff to "answer with a smile on their face," that Peach's strives to be customer oriented. That part works. I had the Hawaiian omelette, and it was loaded with nicely diced ham, but the pineapple was rock-like and tasteless. I don't know if the pineapple was house prepared or came out of a Sysco bag pre-cut, but perhaps a go on the grill before putting the pineapple in the omelette would intensify the flavor a bit? Oh, and the coffee was Meh, not good for a coffee snob.

Second time we've been to this place for breakfast, and the experience was average again. It seems that certain locals are known by name, and the staff are a tight knit group, but they don't always come off as super friendly. They don't come off as mean either, but they could definitely be more personable. The food is good, nothing to write home about. We have tried a variety of things on the menu and pretty much any way you go, you'll get good food, and at a great value as well! If you need to hit up a small breakfast joint, this could be the place for you.

We stopped in on Sunday for breakfast. With just the two of us we were seated immediately in the last available booth. Hooray for good luck! A small crowd entered after us, and had to wait a while to be seated. The place is smallish, and on a Sunday morning it was full. Any decent breakfast place will be crowded on a weekend morning though, so be prepared. Our waiter was very friendly, good looking, and took our drink orders immediately. Coffee mediocre, but not terrible, but I generally don't expect much from diner coffee, so I was fine with it. He did a good job with keeping our beverages replenished which is high on my priority list when it comes to a return trip to a breakfast spot. He ordered the french toast with berries and what not all over it. I ordered the chicken fried steak. I opted for fruit instead of potatoes, and requested a biscuit instead of toast. It also came with two eggs. Our food came out fairly quickish. BIG portions. I was actually surprised by how large the chicken fried steak was, because I've been served the same thing at other places and it was about half the size. There was nooooo way I could have finished my entire meal, and I'm six and a half months pregnant. My sweetheart was happy to oblige me by eating one of my eggs, half of the biscuit, and at least a third of the chicken fried steak. He's a real trooper. The menu options are basic breakfast fair, and nothing particularly fancy. Don't expect smoked salmon benedict with capers, or chorizo and potato burritos here. They've got all the family favorites and nothing too extravagant, but what we ordered was pretty good. All in all we had a good experience here. Peach's is close to our house, so we will definitely stop in again.

We walked in around 12:30. The restaurant was very busy without being hectic or loud. After a short wait for our table, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch! Omelette of the day was delicious and came with a salad. Spinach salad with grilled chicken was outstanding! It came with a choice of home made muffin!

We are spending 3 months here as we decide if Sarasota could be a permanent home. While here we want to try as many restaurants, theaters ,nail and hair salons, etc as we can. We use Yelp a lot and that is how we found Peaches. A great little place , fast friendly service ,diverse menu and great food. We went for Sunday brunch around 10:30 and were seated right away. By the time we left there was a sizable line waiting to get in. We ordered from the "healthy " side of the menu, Veggie Omelets with fresh fruit bowls and whole wheat toast. Perfect, had to take the fruit bowls home , but we were pleasantly satisfied and happy with our orders. The fruit bowls were fresh and good portions too. We plan on going back. O, and they offer a special $$off of your next visit and specials for your birthday, and anniversary. a. NIce touch.

I have to say I wasn't overwhelmed by Peach's. Don't get me wrong, it isn't horrible but not sure if I will go back again any time soon. Had to wait for our server to finally come to the table and take our drink order. Once we ordered our food it didn't take too long for it to come to the table but I wasn't too overly impressed. I had ordered the hash. It was as they said made there and it tasted ok but the potato to corned beef ratio was definitely skewed in the potato direction. I understand using more potato is a cost cutting measure but....it is sold as "corned beef" hash. Another thing that I didn't like is that the home fries come with onions already in them. Now I don't mind them but if my husband had ordered them he would have been upset because the menu doesn't advertise that they are in there. It is a little presumptuous to have them in there since I know not everyone likes them. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but I won't be stopping in again any time soon.

We both ordered from the breakfast menu. The food was prepared as requested, delicious, plentiful, and the service courteous, timely, and pleasant. It was obvious this is a well managed and happy staff doing their very best to insure their guests receive the very best. There were people from every age segment and walk of life dining. And, oh by the way, did I say our waitress was not only very professional and attentive, but cute.

Great food. Busy on a Sunday morning, so we had to wait a while, but it was worth it! :)

Great place for breakfast. Took the family there twice during our week-long vacation in Sarasota. Kids loved it. Staff was very friendly. Food was very good. Their sweet potato pancakes were to die for and one of the main reasons we went back a second time. Wish they had one in Chicago.

Met the relatives here for an early breakfast when passing through town. This is a fine breakfast restaurant with attentive staff, many good menu choices and varieties of breakfast foods. A big plus is they cooked the eggs as requested which seems like it should be routine for a breakfast place, but is not always the case. The grits were ordinary and the pancakes fluffy, light and yummy. Fruit instead of meats and muffins instead of toast are appreciated options. Unlimited coffee frequently poured means I like this place and would go back again.

Stopped in for some pancakes to go. Ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes. They make a really good pancake! Little crispy, little salty, good color and flavor overall. About 9" across. Total cost for 2 large cakes just $3.00 - you can't go wrong. Better than any fast food and cheaper. Service is usually decent as they know us for some reason today the girl took my order and then brought me a box and bag of syrup and butter then left when I asked her for a bag she got uptight. I guess for a $3.00 order she did feel that I need a bag but was I too stick it in my pocket. Overall great choice for breakfast. Not fond of there lunch as they charge $2.00 extra for fries if you don't get there potato chips. That is high. No American Express which sucks.
