Chili's has always been a dinner stop for me, burgers wings & 2-for-1 drinks, you get my drift. Today it was the lunch experience, I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Quesadillas. It came with a choice of soup or salad and a side of fries. The Chicken Enchilada Soup was truly filled with chunks of chicken and the Quesadillas was one of the best I've ever tasted, including the ones I make. Chili's is now offering Ziosk when it comes to payment, easy and simple, my only gripe is that it defaults to 20% when it comes to suggesting a tip.

Horrible staff, horrible manager. Horrible food presentation. Glasses were consistently empty. Hostess sat my grown family between a family with 2 screaming toddlers and a table of loud high schoolers. Close to impossible to enjoy this meal from the start. After giving very specific instructions regarding my fajitas to the waitress she still botched it up. The dishes came out with chipped edges and the food presentation far below par. I will not be coming back.

The service is speedy and impeccable. The servers/bartenders are so nice and are constantly refilling your drink(I had to keep racing to the bathroom to make room for more diet coke). Very clean restrooms and tables/silverware/menus were clean and freshly washed. Best place I've ever been!

Have enjoyed eating at Chili's just about once a week for many years. Ambiance and value of the food is excellent.

Consistently awful. Bad service, dirty location, cold food. If you must do Chilis, pick a different location.

Chili's has gone downhill this past year or so. They've changed the chicken meat in the fajitias. Tastes like pre-processed frozen chicken. It has that lunchmeat type of taste to it, so disgusting. I couldn't even eat them. My hubby ordered a cheeseburger and the meat is different in their burgers too. It seems cheaper, frozen, not hand formed and juicy like they used to be. I even spoke to the manager about the changes and he agreed. I suppose they are trying out new things and cooking methods in their kitchen. To me though, these changes that save time & money for them is affecting the customer's satisfaction and the taste and quality of their food. I suppose quanity is better than quality in Chili's book. I will not be back. I've tried 2 or 3 different Chili's in 2 states and these changes are happening everywhere...therefore my business will be taken elsewhere. It's sad because this used to be one of our favorite places to eat.

My friend and I tried finding a restaurant in this part of town, which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (this is the rural part of Sarasota County, which includes Myakka State Park). After driving an eternity and finding our other choice, Cock and Bull, closed, we decided to just eat here, the first place we saw as we turned back around. We were quickly seated, the waitress then came and said she'd bring tableside guacamole. Odd, my friend and I thought, are they suddenly giving away free appetizers, like some Mexican restaurants that provide complimentary salsa and chips? We found our answer as we perused the menu and saw a $6.99 tableside guacamole. Hmm, this must be the same one the waitress offered to bring us (without our consent). When my friend asked if it was free prior to her putting in the order, the waitress admitted that it was not. Okay. I understand you need to push a new product on customers, but do you think that misleading them into thinking they're getting a free appetizer is the way to go? It'd be one thing if she had asked if we'd like to *try* the tableside guacamole, which is $6.99, but the way she said "I will bring this to your table" made it sound like it was standard and complimentary. This deceitful "sales pitch" rubbed me off the wrong way and I was vocal about it. Anyway, after that disappointment, we ordered some beef fajitas to share, and when they came, the meat on the skillet was medium rare. We were never asked how we'd like our meat upon taking our order, and certainly, neither I nor my friend like our meat to be red. Since the skillet was still somewhat hot, I put the raw pieces to sort of cook the best I could. I probably should have sent it back at that point, but didn't. Big mistake. The meat was somewhat chewy but we were hungry and in a rush to leave. To make matters worse, I got food poisoning: within less than an hour, I was on the toilet. Driving back, I tried hard to contain my very upset stomach, with no success. I had to make a couple of stops on the way back to Miami Beach and was unable to eat dinner as I felt bloated. I had a miserable night -- which, after spending 3 days constantly walking and barely sleeping in the hotel -- is unpleasant, considering I had to wake up early for work, so much for catching up on sleep. Throughout this morning and afternoon, my stomach is still upset. I cannot even hold down saltine crackers and I still feel sick to my stomach. I think I will try my best to avoid Chili's from now on, and if I am ever in this part of town, I'll eat McDonald's or whatever else I can find, before even considering this location again!

The bar tables are clearly the best spot at this local chain to get efficient service, plus the free chips and salsa in the bar area make this the spot. This site is getting the 4th facelift that I know of; however, the exterior is not the issue here. Again this site lacks from efficient management. Groups walk in and with two hostesses in an empty restaurant folks are asked to wait. Why? Never enough staff on duty to cover tables, perhaps. Plenty of tables are empty. Servers were in teams and overall do a good job. Don't do takeout and if you must, then open and check everything before leaving the restaurant. Often times, dishes are incomplete or missing. Shame this site can't get effective management to compete with tremendous overflow from neighboring dining sites.

What can I say? I am a fan of Chili's. I never used to be but the quality of the food and service has improved so much over the past couple years that it is easy to ignore that I am in a corporate restaurant. The servers are typically personable and efficient. They use team service there and when they use it well the drinks never go empty and the food arrives hot. I admit I am fan of their ribs. The silly song aside the ribs are always tender and filling. The fajitas are also good for filling you up as well as making your closet smell like fajita smoke for the next week. They also just added turkey burgers. Get them smokehouse style for a healthier option that makes the belly happy. They even have these great table computers called Ziosks. The wife and I have started playing board games on them while we eat which is a fun way to spend the evening. Also you can pay your check with it which saves that time we all hate waiting for the server to bring the bill and run our cards. It is a nice piece of equipment for the table. The only downsides are the fries are typically way to salty. I like salt but the fries at Chilis seems determined to cause rapid dehydration and would have bankrupt the Roman Army. (They got paid in salt~). The only other downside is the prices seem to have gone up. I'm not sure a person should have to spend $50 for dinner for two at Chilis. You don't have to. They are less expensive options but it does seem to be getting a bit more expensive than it necessarily warrants. On the whole though I am fan and as long as the service remains stellar and the food remains hot and fresh I will keep coming back.

I have always had an excellent takeout experience with this particular Chilis. They're always friendly when they take my call. They are always on time with the food. I have taken out from this particular Chilis approximately 7-8 times in the past two years. By the way, I love Chilis chips and salsa. I just wish they would use non-GMO corn chips.

Its a normal Chilis. Everything is reasonably priced. Usually get the Salsa and chips. Staff is very nice and on top of drink refills. Service is pretty great.

Chilis is one of our family's favorite places to eat. After a long 12 hours of driving, we were excited to see this right off the exit. This location is horrible. A hostess that doesn't seem to be at her post, so you walk in and stand awkwardly to have someone address that you came into the restaurant. Looked at an empty booth for 15 minutes before they sat us down in that booth. Not sure who our waiter/waitress is, since we had tweedle dum and tweedle dee. Over 10 minutes before someone came to get our drinks. Horrible service all around. Restautant just seemed dirty. Food was so so. Very disappointed.

I actually love Chilis and have for a long time. I am gonna say that I was highly disappointed at our most recent trip there. We had to send out app back as it was not edible. I was shocked they even put it on our table. Then when my wife's steak came and she cut into it the steak was clearly well done. We called the manager over and he said that he thought he could see a hint of pink in it. I was shocked at his ignorance and lack of concern. There was clearly no pink. The only saving grace is that they have a phenomenal kids menu. Great variety and options beyond just fried stuff.
