Drove 40 minutes to visit this quaint restaurant with big flavor! We ordered the boiled peanuts and fries with beer cheese to start with while we explored their menu of local brews and wine. The peanuts were hot and fresh and the fries, well, I could've ate my body weights worth and kept going. After stuffing ourselves on appetizers we ordered a burger and a shrimp po'boy. The burger was the best we'd had in long time if not ever and the po'boy wasn't incredible but it didn't matter because everything else was so amazing! To top the experience off the restaurant uses fresh local ingredients and the service was extraordinary! Definitely recommended if you're in the area and even if you're not.
My companion ordered the fried green tomato BLT and Big Storm's Rise and Shine IPA. He loved them. I ordered the red beans and rice with andouille sausage. Very tasty!
Lunch- beer cheese fries with bacon, really can't go wrong. The daily special which was meatloaf and mashed potatoes was super yummy. Husband had the red beans and rice with the super beer cheese fries we were full but his serving was on the small side. Decor was nicely done, bathrooms excellent, tons of potential with this place. I hope they do well! I think the concept of the menu, drink and decor are well thought out. Only advice I would have, less salt, and a better way to communicate the story of the place.

Not bad, but not good either. The service and atmosphere was good so I cant complain too much. For me and our party, the food just left some taste to be desired...also no Margaritas to aide in the experience.
Maybe we just went on a really BAD night, or maybe the bar has just been set too high for us now by Coyote Rojo. Either way I remember this place being a lot better about 10 years ago when we first went. Service was decent, but the food was just not very good. My wife's steak, in her fajita, tasted nasty. Not the usual good tasting steak you find in a Mexican restaurant. My oldest son and I had beef Chimichangas. They were ok enough, but nothing special. We will more than likely never be back here unless we here of new management or something.
This is by far the best Mexican food I have ever had! Starting with the fresh, handmade chips and fresh handmade salsas....you could stop right there and be in heaven! But make sure to order the Mean Verde (avocado) taco! It had huge !!! thick slices of Hass avocado....not the normal green mush most places call avocado. And the beans and rice on the side were obviously handmade. You cannot go wrong here!

Because I haven't heard back from anyone from Al's Famous Pizza, I posted my concern on the stores Facebook page last night and this morning my post was removed. Not a way to treat customers who are trying to resolve an issue caused by an employee of your company.
The pizza is hand- tossed and delicious! These folks have a limited menu which allows them to be specialized and do what they do really well. Oh, did I mention that their pricing is a bargain? What more could you ask for? Awesome!!!
First time here. Got the lunch special, 2 slices up to 3 toppings and a drink for 5 bucks! Can't beat that! Pizza was excellent. Will definitely be back.
