Just another China box restaurant . The lady at the cash register was more worried about talking to someone in the back than just taking my dang order. The place looked abandoned if the lights weren't on I would not have stopped . I'm kind of picky about when I hand someone money I would like them to hand it back to me and not just bump it on the counter. I ordered Orange beef and some shrimp fried rice 20$ for that should have stopped at McDonald's would have saved a bunch of trouble writing this review. I wouldn't stop here again ever !

Quite simply, given the few choices for Chinese food that are available in Ruskin, this one ranks at the top! They provide great service, and they cook the food to your specifications! I highly recommend this place to everyone on this vicinity!

I found this place to be just like any other Chinese fast foods. It was certainly tasty, but the dinning can use some deep cleaning and new floors. I ordered chicken fried rice and a Won ton soup. Along with pepper steak over rice and eggs roll. Good in tasting. Service was mediocre. Nice but the host had a hard time understanding people when ordering or asking for something. Certainly doesn't degrade the quality, but it is necessary in customer service.

Fantastic fresh vegetables! I have never been to a Chinese food restaurant that serves such fresh veggies like the china wok does. Please don't loose this quality. This location is 5min down the road for us so some nights it's perfect. Located off college and I-75 in ruskin. The staff is super friendly and prompt. The food is good especially the vegetables. The menu is a bit long but when you go enough you go right to what you want;) I would have fived this review but they lacked sweetness in the lemon chicken sauce and orange chicken as well. The rice is always perfect and the crab Rangoon is excellent. I love hot mustard but you have to ask for the one they make or else you get the week packaged stuff. Based in my other visits around us this place is one of two we would make trips to eat at. Obviously not fancy inside but don't expect it to be just expect great people and good food!

The food is good and it's done fast. Which is a huge plus when you only get 30 minutes for lunch. I'd definitely recommend it.

Located in a semi-empty strip mall, I did not have high expectations for this place, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was bright and clean and the ladies at the counter were friendly. My order was ready quickly and was all correct. Being from NYC, I demand a lot from Chinese food, and this was good food. I would definitely eat there again next time I'm in the area.

Pleasant surprise tucked in a partially deserted shopping mall. We ordered fried dumplings, bourbon chicken and seafood with panfried noodles. It was ready in 10 minutes. The portions were big and the ingredients were fresh - especially the shrimp. The dumplings were home made and were flavorful. The bourbon chicken had a unique flavor. Service by the first counter person was excellent. Service by the second person at the counter - possibly the owner- was less than attentive. Overall we had a positive experience.

If you're in the mood for Chinese (in Ruskin/Sun City area) this is the place to go. Fresh, delicious, fast. Very recommended!

Solid Chinese take-out on the first try. Also the place was kept very clean which is often not the case in many take-out kitchens of this type. I'll have to try a very selections to better judge, but after a trial I am quite eager to go back.

Typical chinese food, but it was fast, cheap and the portions are big. If you ask for hot sauce they give you a little cup of homemade oil/chiles, which is really good but super spicy! And, if you go right before closing you may even hear the cook singing in chinese from the back!

I love getting the General Tso's lunch special for $5 including a can soda. Fast and friendly serves during lunch hours. I haven't eaten dinner here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
