Local Comfort food to make you smile. We have been going to one of the 3 locations for years and have always liked what we found. The country fried steak is great. The chili mac soup is amazing, and the Chicken and dumplings is great too. Admittedly, some things are scratch made and some things are canned, but overall we have been happy with everything we've had.. Like fried Okra for instance, who makes that from scratch honestly!? It's freezer to fryer in every restaurant in America. No use crying about it. It's still good stuff though. Try the burgers, pork chops, or the fried chicken. The staff is friendly and prompt. You will be happy. If there is one criticism that I could find is that there are no Hash Browns available for breakfast. They have Grits and they have Home Fries but no shredded hashed brown potatoes (which seems kind of unusual with everything else they have).

This place is great. Good food, service is helpful and friendly. Prices are surprisingly good and you'll get enough to eat. Try it, You'll like it

This is a very good diner. Had breakfast here this morning. Coffee was good. Hash and eggs were cooked well and very tasty. Their white toast was old fashioned thick white bread which was so much nicer than the sad skinny bread you usually get. The service too was very good. Ill be back.

This place sucks! Everything here is canned, and there sandwiches are paper thin with a fat price! not recommended.

This is nowhere near the best place for breakfast in Rockledge. Drive past this place and go to Jimmie's. So much better food and service there. Goods: the quantity of food here is large, you will not go hungry. Coffee is bland but bottomless and refilled frequently. The prices are reasonable. Others: the kitchen is very slow, and the food, when it finally arrives is bland. Servers seem more intent on taking breaks than serving food. The existence of grits on the menu does not make a place "Southern".

This place is great place to try if you are in the Rockledge area and are looking for a hearty, quality breakfast. They serve southern comfort foods, such as fried okra. They have reasonable prices and they're food is pretty good. On a side note, they are very busy on Sundays, so be prepared.

My husband & I like to stop by here twice a month at dinner time. He likes their meatloaf & I love the rueben. The servers are very kind & prices are fair. I would recommend a visit for those who love home cooking.

Made two visits for lunch while in town to see family. Wouldn't even have known it was tucked away in a strip mall. It is small and very busy midday. The soups are outstanding, clearly from scratch, and only $1.99 for a cup with any sandwich. The chicken rice had lots of chicken in it and the cream of broccoli was thick and rich.

We have fallen in love with this little place. We spend a month or more every year in the Melbourne/Rockledge area and love going here for breakfast. Four of us also when to lunch and dinner this year and enjoyed everything we have had. It is diner food with good service and the prices are great.

Great service but just ok food! I don't believe anything we ordered was made from scratch. We ordered grilled chicken sandwich, a salmon burger, chopped steak and hamburger.

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants. The food here is always consistent.

One of my favorite places to eat! I love the service and the food is always great! I go to the one in Rockledge, Port Saint John and Cocoa.

Good old diner food. Baked chicken, corn bread dressing, mash potatoes and gravy. If I live here I would be a regular. I like diner-like food.

What a treasure this little diner is hidden away in a strip mall--this is truly tasty down-home cooking! Yum, like Granny used to make. I hadn't had fried okra in years but this was some of the best--and the french fries and the shrimp and I could go on but we ate it all. Now I have to come back for breakfast and bring the whole family!

Great food! Blackened chicken sandwich was amazing and the hot turkey and cheese. I don't like the fact they use potato chips when homemade would be so much better and cheaper! The prices are great!

Was told that more salsa would be extra. It was $1.00. Won't do that again! Luckily the food was as good as ever.

I would say 3.5. I have only been once, but plan on going again. The waitstaff was friendly. We went early, so the place was not crowded. Food was very good and I would say a decent value based on the price. They have a fairly typical "southern" menu. Their lunch and dinner menu seemed pretty good as well. I will probably go for breakfast every other week. We also go to another local breakfast place. I love going to locally owned businesses. Not a fan of Country's or IHOP unless I am travelling. Give it a try.

I love their breakfast! Good food fast and big portions for the price. Nice wait staff and haven't had to wait unusually long times to be seated even when busy. Gigantic to-go cups for my sweet tea. Tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and no complaints about any. Pancakes the bigger than the size of most dinner plates and thick rye toast! Overall a great meal. Even brought people from work and they're hooked! Can't go wrong here!
