Indian Pass Raw Bar

8391 Indian Pass Rd

Indian Pass is hands down THE BEST raw bar I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The raw oysters couldn't have been fresher unless I shucked them myself. And don't overlook the delicious baked oysters and stuffed shrimp! I also have to say their honor system won me over right off the bat :)
Nice casual atmosphere with friendly staff. We came a little after the lunch rush so only waited like ten min. The beverages are self serve in a giant case of beers and sift drinks in the back. We had the gumbo, smoked fish dip, crab, and two dozen raw oysters and key lime pie for dessert. The oysters are HUGE but we managed to finish them with great determination. Cheap for the quantity and a great selection of hot sauce including a locally made brand. One caveat is no cell reception so you may not want to go if someone needs to get in touch asap.
Look, it's a hole in the wall dive and not a five star restaurant, but the seafood is out of this world. There's usually an hour wait, but this place has a cool charm about it. We came five years ago, and I've been dreaming of their food ever since. We came again today and it was just as good as I remembered. These people that complain must not understand that the waitresses aren't unfriendly--just super busy. All of the waitresses were nice and working their butts off. If sitting in plastic chairs and getting your own drinks is not for you, then go somewhere else. But we love the atmosphere here! Make sure you go in and put your name on the wait list by the register. Then grab a food menu, drink menu, and a pen. You will probably have to grab it yourself. Mark off what you want (food wise) ahead of time so you can hand it over as soon as you are seated. It takes a little while, so I recommend the fish dip appetizer which will come out immediately while you wait. Then grab some self-serve drinks from the cooler and head outside to people watch and meet new people while you wait. Drinks are self-serve on the honor system--just mark it on your drink sheet. We had stuffed shrimp, fish dip, and steamed crab legs. You get a crap-ton of crab for the price. The food was perfection and super fresh. In fact, we saw them deliver the oysters when they opened and they had just caught them. This place is a must if you are in the Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, or Appalachicola area.

This place is the real deal. Stuffed oysters were AWESOME. Great crab dip too. Thoroughly enjoyed the crab stuffed fish and tilapia as well. Nice joint, would definitely go again.
This place is nearly perfect if you like delicious seafood dishes and casual beach atmosphere.... The ingredients are fresh and everything is made right there in-house.... Crab cakes are a must with some cold beers..... Yum...... The baked oysters are terrific, very original. Poboys are very good as well & the crab dip is worth the trip alone...truly..... Open for lunch and dinner. Has a friendly bar with TVs, atmosphere is casual and fresh.
This is a great little place. Seats are a little awkward and they need to give you a metal fork for the crab legs. Not a single good beer on the menu but unfortunately that seems typical in this area. The food was by far the best we've had while in the area.

Simply put this is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I'm Chinese myself and LOVE American Chinese food. I eat American Chinese all the time whether it be at food court or a random shop on the road, but If you are craving chinese food and just vacationing here, just hold off till you get else where. The owners are friendly, but I'm giving this place 1 star for the food alone. We ordered 2 different chicken wings, Mongolian beef, and beef with duh broccoli. The chicken wings were overly salty and was not crispy. The beef had the same flavor on these 2 different dishes and was very chewy. Kinda tasted like the beef I tried to make: it sucked ass..... Maybe I came here on a off day, but bottom line is don't come here. Food just sucks
This is pretty good place. The waiters are Chinese which is cool. The buffet was good. It had good noodles, meat, sushi, and the coconut shrimp is the best. And I recommend if you love Chinese to give this place a try.
Pork Fried Rice is always a must here, but the crispy duck is good, & any curry dish is good as well. Try the dumplings fried. Nice Portions
