Marian’s Bagels Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

If you are getting a dozen bagels, some OJ and cream cheese.. be prepared to drop $30 - but they are amazing. Have also dined in - pretty quick service. Pleasant staff. Good food. Great french toast - a cup of OJ is $3.25 (a bit excessive). Their cream cheese is AMAZING. Many selections to choose from when purchasing - love the veggie! Will definitely continue to visit them.

This is my favorite spot for a nova sandwich in the area. There is no skimping and plenty of quality nova, cream cheese, good capers and fantastic bagel. I also love the bacon here. The ladies at the front are always so pleasant to deal with

Don't let the cup of coffee, the food and oatmeal fool you by being served in all paper cups and plates with plastic spoons. Marian's Bagels has been open 38 years and Marian, the founder has left this great breakfast place to her kids. We got there at about 11:30 and their was a line out the door, so I guess no one cares if they get served on paper plates and cups. We waited about 20 minutes but it is located right next to a great gift shop next door called Angelic Accents. Great place to browse and look for gifts. I ordered the Egg White Omelet with mushrooms and tomatoes. I am serious when I say that this was the largest, fluffiest egg white omelet and the mushrooms were so large and fresh. I was so happy to be able to enjoy it like I would as if I had a regular omelet with the yoke. The oatmeal was served on the side and was a perfect small portion served in a Styrofoam small bowl. My wife had the matzo brie and she loved it served with apple sauce on the side and she put it on top of the omelet. The place was busy so the service had to be pushed along a little bit by requesting cream for the coffee 10 minutes after the coffee was served , but they got the picture pretty quick. Seriously, sounds so trivial, but that was one heck of an egg white omelet. So fresh. This is primarily a great bagel spot and had many great items on the menu served with their fresh bagels. They only serve breakfast and lunch. Very reasonable prices and no hassle breakfast dining experience. Not a bad idea to throw out our dishes and just serve on paper. Surely, you can't complain about a dirty dish or silverware. The food here makes this place one of the better breakfast stops in the area.

Hungry for something mid morning but with no desire to cook I clicked on "Breakfast Nearby" and Marian's came up. Situated in a plaza that I've frequented my entire life, I had no idea it was there. My bf and I were promptly greeted and told to sit anywhere. A friendly gentleman took our drink order. We looked at the menu and everything looked great and nicely priced. I chose the 2 egg special with home fries and a plain bagel with chive cream cheese ($4 and change). The bf got a Greek omelet with hash browns and an everything bagel. Everything was super tasty and nice portion sizes. The best part was the service. Rhoda was extremely nice especially when we told her we had never been. She told us they'd been open 37 years. That's saying something! They definitely had a few "regulars" in there and I definitely plan to go back soon! As we paid the cashier, the nice gentleman offered to top off my coffee to go. I can't say enough nice things about this place :-)

Four words... bacon cheddar cream cheese! Small quaint little breakfast nook! Amazing food! Highly recommend the fried French toast! Can't go wrong with fried challah bread!

I have been to Marian's bagels twice so far, and I have been impressed both times. They have been around for quite some time: which to me is a testament to how well they have taken care of their customers with solid service and great food. I am a huge egg and omelette fan/junky/connoisseur whatever you want to call it , I am that. Each time they have made an exceptional omelette. The eggs are not over done, they are just right each time. They give you enough hashed browns as well. I didn't get a chance to try another cream cheese , but maybe next time. One of the things I like about it is the wonderful warm atmosphere. It's not too large, the decor is really nice and quaint too. It only seats around 63 people but they get you seated and you get to enjoy your food in an expeditious manner (no playing around in the kitchen, you get your food hot, and fast) The service is great too, always nice. It's the type of place that you would go to on a regular basis if you lived in the area, you would definitely miss it if you didn't know it was there. All in all a great place to sit and talk and have a great lunch, with great service in a great community.

This has to be by far the humblest 5 star I've given. Honestly I have nothing negative to say about this nice little place. It's everything I asked for in an early, last minute, pressed for time breakfast. Made a quick right turn, ( sorry diver behind me) but I had too because I saw the sign and made a quick decision. I've seen this place on Yelp and it had pretty good reviews so I said "well why not, I am in the mood for more than a coffee today" Had the egg white omelet with spinach, turkey sausage, 2 slices of tomato and an everything bagel with cream cheese-$7.49 Egg whites were perfect! Not greasy at all which I appreciate because if I'm ordering egg whites you can safely say it's because I'm trying to watch my fat intake. Turkey sausage had a unique flavor with Rosemary and something else. Was quite good. Texture was fluffy and cooked just right, no gooey spots anywhere. By the way this was huge!! They serve 3 large egg whites! Service was excellent! They were fast to take my order and bring my food. When I made my payment, I was greeted by I think the owner and she recommended I come back for more! I would definitely go back!

I went to this place because I like going to new restaurants that I haven't been to before and are rated high on Yelp, but I don't see this place as too different to other breakfast spots I've been to before. Same type of food, I enjoyed the cholula sauce since not many places have it so that was a plus because I like a kick to my breakfast and the jalapeño cream cheese was good and the only thing different that I considered tasting. Service was friendly but food wasn't that 5 star for me, sorry.

Friendly service, food was fine, popular and lively. I just can't give a good review to anyplace that serves every single item with disposable plates and cutlery and glasses - order anything here and you're suddenly surrounded by styrofoam. For a state that gets pounded by more and more hurricanes, seems like a spot that would be more environmentally motivated.

Straight up diner style restaurant, down to the menu and the staff. I gave this place 4 stars and these are the reasons; Greeted and seated almost immediately from the moment we entred, with menus. Readily a server came and took out drink orders. Water, coffee, menu and table within 2 minutes The waitress was friendly and gave good explanations on some items we weren't familiar with, she even had some good recommendations. We ordered our food, nothing fancy and no special requests. Food came hot and fresh and it was exactly what we had ordered. And more importantly the food was tasty. The overall appreance and cleanliness of this restaurant is exactly what you should expect, clean and presentable. The prices were fair and, again, the staff was very friendly. This was my first time there and the staff made me feel like a regular. But what about the 5th star? There was one thing that put me a tid bit off. Plastic ware, this restaurant uses plastic ware, plastic forks and knives, styrofoam plates and cups. Maybe it's more sanitary or maybe it's cheaper, but it is diffinitly not eco-friendly.

Just had my first meal here and I loved it! Had to order the egg white omelette because of the previous reviews and I was so happy that I did. Great flavor and incredible hash browns! I have to also mention how great the staff was. Everyone was so friendly and the service was excellent. Even though the food came out quickly, we did not feel rushed in any way. My only complaint is that I wish I lived closer. Great place, I will be back soon!

This place used to be so much better! Over priced and the quality of food has gone down! Used to make bagels on premises and now order from someplace else! Service is really bad the waitresses have an attitude! Wait for table wasn't bad but waited over 40 minutes for food after we ordered! They weren't apologetic for the wait instead said can't you see we are busy. It's a small place and not a lot of tables for that long of a wait! Then the food came out and my Omelette was very dry and bland! Egg bagels have poppy seeds. Home fries very very greasy and left grease on my plate! We have been going there for almost 20 years and we will never go back! Needs to go back to the way they used to be years ago!

Overpriced and lacking in customer service. Take out orders clutter the doorway. The bagels are good but not made in-house. I used to be more impressed.

Stopped to get some breakfast. The wait was a bit much but I figured it's Sunday and they must be good for this wait. Well yes, it was good, waitress was nice and knowledgable to help me make the right decision. Kind of remind me of a NY style deli. I had the lox spread with a bagel. Yummy!! Added tomatoes for a perfect combo. Was a bit surprised about the beverage choices. If you drink a lot be prepared. You get a can or a bottle then that's it. You would have to purchase another one. Other than that it was good.

Pretty good for a local restaurant. The bagels were the star here, awesome takeout business too. Extremely fast. The service left a lot to be desired. I only saw my waitress twice: once to take the order, the second to do off the check. Felt a little rushed even though they were pretty empty at the time. Also, eating off plastic plates with plastic utensils isn't something I would do outside a huge party our a dorm room. As for the food, I had the whitefish platter. Came with a Bagel, lettuce, tomato, onion. Also came with potato or Cole slaw (or an upcharge for some other side). I upped to French fries. I'm a stickler for crispy fries and these were perfect; just needed done salt since none came on them. The whitefish was great; heavy on the fish, light on mayo, no bones. Heavy smoked flavor but I enjoyed that.

Went there today and encountered a very very rude hostess! There were three empty tables when we arrived with no apparent line waiting or anyone standing near the door directing people. We sat, waited a few minutes, and was told by an especially rude hostess to get up that there were others before us. There was no one other than us standing inside the restaurant that we could see waiting. The fact that there were a few people outside while there were three empty tables made no sense to us, especially when no one was directing people to the empty tables!!! She was rude and nasty to us sitting there, so we left!! As a local, I will never return because of this.

This place is expensive & charges like it's an upscale establishment when it's not. I got a plain bagel with cream cheese with tomatoes added to it. I paid $1.20 for two slices but I only found one sliced my bagel . If your charging me, make sure you put two slices then. Oh I can't even comprehend with disgusting amount of cream cheese I got on my bagel. I literally had to clean my bagel before I could eat it. I spent $7 on a bagel & small coffee. not worh the price. Bagel was ok.

My friend was in town and she loves bagels so I have been meaning to check this place out and this was the perfect time. We got there on a late Sunday morning and the place is small but there's a lot of tables and we had to wait for about a minute for someone to leave. We ordered coffee and then we each got an egg, bacon and cheese bagel. I got garlic and I think she got asiago. Our food came shortly after and the bagel sandwiches were really good! The egg was cooked right and so was the bacon.... I would have liked for the bagel to be a little more toasted so it would have been easier to eat but overall a really good breakfast spot! I have got to come back and try other items because the food that other people had next to us looked amazing!

Too bad there's not a zero star rating. This place and its owners should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Everything is served on styrofoam with plastic utensils. Styrofoam plates, drink cups, coffee cups. At an eat-in restaurant. I asked for a refill of water (which took 20 mins) and instead of refilling my existing cup that will never degrade, they bright yet another styrofoam cup. When they brought the "food", it looked like wet dog food. Luckily for me, it didn't taste like wet dog food. Unluckily for me, it tasted like wet dog excrement. And there were people waiting to get into this place. Unreal.

  • Isabel H.

Oh man where do I start?! Fast and friendly service! The food is so fresh and the bagels are to die for! I sit outside most of the time because of my dog. Yes I take her there, we eat outside and they bring her doggy treats and water. I love this place!

Still the best! Great omelets for breakfast or lunch. Love the Greek Omelet with egg whites!! Lox, bagels, large variety of breakfasts and lunches. Lovely owner, always with a smile. Delicious salads. Tuna salad, egg salad, whitefish salad, salmon salad. Good sandwiches.

This is a great little breakfast place. Small mom and pop run business. They have some of the best bagels, soft, chewy just delicious! They also have a lot of speciality cream cheese spreads. For example maple walnut, onion and chive, pumpkin and strawberry. (Just to name a few). There are not many seats and the place seems to have a steady crowd. The restaurant itself was very clean and modern. The service was prompt and more than efficient. My only complaint and the one thing that prevented a 5 star rating was everything is served in and on plastic wear. Other than that this was a great find and I will defiantly be back for their delicious bagels!

I'm writing this review in real time. Decor is very nice, wait staff very friendly and efficient. Latka Balls off the chart good. There goes a week of workouts! Lox excellent quality, bagel light and tasty, Tuna with a little lemon outstanding. White fish spread also outstanding, good amount of actual whitefish in it. Overall I love it. Good thing it's a half hour away or I'd be eating here way too much. Just got done with all the above and ordering another latka they're that good. Another week of workouts shot. Strong five stars as far as bagel joints go.

Great food and service, but I was disappointed that they didn't have fountain sodas, and the plastic plates/silverware felt kinda cheap. Overall it was a delicious choice.

Great place for breakfast! Their salmon cream cheese on any bagel is to die for. Cozy diner feel and very friendly service. Make sure to bring cash! Although I'm terrible at having cash on me, the first time I visited the staff was friendly enough to let me use my card for a small purchase.

  • Elizabeth B.

Eh. My server was super sweet and the choice cream cheese and everything bagel was DELISH. But... It's very compact and a tight squeeze, so people constantly bumping your chair to get around you. Someone commented that take out makes it very hectic at front door and that's very true! Can hardly get in or out and competing with take out orders (and there are a lot!) just to pay bill. The cream cheese portion is VERY generous served on the side. Easily could order two bagels and split the cream cheese. Hash brown order was HUGE too so could have split that as well. Oh- THERE'S A SPLIT/SHARE CHARGE??? Really- that annoys me when places do that!!! Also, all plastic and styrofoam so if environmentally friendly is important to you- not your place! Also, they have outdoor seating but it's only for take out. To not have service outside when it's plainly visible and right outside the door... Strange and disappointing. Would have been much more relaxing outside. Only reason I gave two stars was because the bagel and cream cheese was so delicious and fresh

Amazing food! Had the pastrami sandwich and the matzoh ball soup. They both were delicious. They have an array of different bagels and spreads. Their staff is really nice! Love this place. The only thing I regret is not taking advantage of going there more when I lived by it.

Get ready to pig out on the deliciousness of what is a bagel, lox and cream cheese! The cream cheese is so thick and rich and awesome! The potato pancakes were out of this world! They are deep fried and small but delicious! Try them with the apple sauce! My boyfriend had the nova smear and it was tasty as well! It was also very busy, but the service was fantastic and attentive and the busier, the better!

Pros-first meal-perfectly cooked over medium eggs, home fries, bacon & sesame bagel. (My meal) Cons-2nd & 3rd meals, hard, cold & dry hash browns, hard chewy raisin bagels. plastic silverware, styrofoam plates & coffee cups. Clean inside, somewhat busy...friendly servers Do they make their own bagels? Doesn't seem like it. Prefer the chewy fresh tasting bagels at Panera! We were looking for good chewy New York style bagels. This doesn't fit the bill.

  • Meagan M.

I will start off by saying that very little of my review is based off the bagels themselves, but my overall experience and the service I received. The bagels were fine. Not exceptional, not terrible, just fine. I usually LOVE the idea of a "family owned" place and always go out of my way to find them. The prices here are definitely a little higher than the other "less authentic" bagel joints in Plantation. The fact that you have to pay an upgrade charge to have homemade cream cheese baffles me. Isn't that the point of going out to breakfast at a place like this? If I wanted Philadelphia Cream Cheese I would save myself the $5 and eat at home. BUT, I have ignored most of this for many years since there aren't many "diners" in Plantation. However my experience this weekend will keep me out of this place for good. I came in and ordered a dozen bagels to go, two tubs of cream cheese, a package of nova and a small package of chicken salad. First off, I asked very nicely if she could toast two of the bagels so that we could spread our cream cheese, sit down and enjoy before bringing back to the rest of the family. She acted like I was crazy and said "No that's not the way it works". Umm okay. For the record I go to Einstein's all the time, even the "HORRIBLE CHAINS" will toast a bagel or two for you at no extra cost. So I paid my $36 and headed home to toast my own bagel. When I got home I realized I had grabbed a tub of the raisin nut cream cheese by accident. It was really busy and the tubs were all just tossed in there so I grabbed what I thought were two tubs of plain and paid my bill. My whole family is very "anti-raisin". Honestly I hated the idea of just tossing this into the trash so I sent my boyfriend back with the tub to switch it out. Keep in mind this was about 10 minutes later. When he got to the restaurant the woman grabbed the tub off the counter, loudly threw it in the trash and proclaimed "I cannot sell this tub!! Take whatever you want. NEXT!". There were about 10 people waiting around him and he was extremely embarrassed by this woman acting as though we were cheap or completely out of line for wanting to switch it out. If she would have said "I am sorry, we cannot take it back", "no returns", whatever would have been better than that. He would have even bought another tub, but she didn't give him a chance to say anything except that he needed a different one. She was so incredibly rude for no reason. In case anyone was wondering, even at McDonald's you can go back to the counter and say "Hey I meant to say no cheese" and they will happily make you another one no questions. People make mistakes and when I pay a premium I expect good service. This place is the premium price for mediocre food and TERRIBLE customer service.

Love this place! The food is awesome (especially the garlic and chive cream cheese) and the service really is excellent. I love that they gave each child in a highchair a bagel on a string. I have a small child, and most Sundays this is the primary motivation for us going to Marian's. Plus, they always are very accommodating about bringing out my child's food as soon as possible. And they clean the highchairs, which is a major plus in my book. The food here is good for breakfast and for lunch. I really love their spinach and feta omelette, and for lunch I really like their turkey Reuben sandwich. I really appreciate the food at this place, but service is very important to me. I will stop going to a place if the service isn't good, no matter how good the food is. Here, the service is really excellent. The place is very well-run, even though it is small. It has up-to-date decorations and it is extremely clean. Even though the hostess stand and the cash register are at the front, they are very good about controlling the crowds. If you are waiting they ask you to stand outside so that the place isn't clogged in the front. And then the line in the cash register is separate. Additionally, there's always somebody there to fill your water and your coffee. This is one of my pet peeves and I will not go to a place that is not attentive to drinks. However, the reason that this place is not five stars is that I really don't like that they serve you on Styrofoam plates and cups and plastic silverware. For those accommodations, I feel as though their prices could be cheaper. However, I still go every weekend because this is my favorite breakfast place in the Davie, Cooper city, Plantation, and Weston area. In sum, this place is top-notch for diner food. My friends and I go here almost every weekend with our children and always receive excellent service and an excellent breakfast. They never complain about splitting our check or paying separately, or about the kids being a mess. I highly recommend Marian's for breakfast. Plus, at breakfast time they always serve lunch also so there's always plenty of food to choose from.

Great mom and pop restaurant. Customer service was great, super friendly and attentive. I ordered the 1 egg, 1 turkey sausage, and 1 grilled challah french toast. Simple and not greasy which was great. My friend ordered the bagel and nova and he loved it. Can't wait to go back and try their freshly made bagels and different assortment of homemade mixture of cream cheese.

Couldn't wait to get home to write this review. Took my little dogs to eat at the outside tables at 7:15 on a Sunday morning. Instead of, "good morning" I was attacked by the snarly owner and her 3 sidekick waitresses who were just as rude with their degrading comments about the dogs, who said, "we don't have table service out here, you can order something but it will be brought to you in take-out containers". REALLY? You have 2 customers inside, a handful of similarly older women who are the waitresses just sitting around noshing, and you can't serve a customer outside? Was it the dogs, was it because my husband had not arrived yet?? Just moved to the area and this place is definitely off the go-to places. It's a wonder they have been in business for so many years. With all the class act restaurants and other diners in the area, they're probably in for a rude awakening, hopefully sooner than later. No worries, we were graciously welcomed at the other diner a few blocks away. But then again, there are plenty of people who thrive off this type of mentality, so they probably love the negative energy that is so abundant at this place. Not me, life is way too short and precious.

We were looking for a place to get breakfast and decided to give Marian's a try. I can't speak to everything that they have but the bagels here are fantastic. Service is also extremely friendly, I'd definitely recommend this place if you want a quick breakfast or brunch.

I had high hopes for this place, but was overall let down. Pros: - The grilled Challah French Toast was great (I'd split) - Home-y atmosphere. It definitely feels family-run. - Cool ceiling fans - Midway through our meal, one of the employees (owner?) walked around with free rugelach samples (which were delicious). Cons - Styrofoam and plastic everywhere. Even the coffee is served in a styrofoam cup. - Eggs were bland. - Hashbrowns were sub par. - Everything bagel tasted store bought. Not a lot of 'everything'. - Disappointed that the bagel doesn't automatically come with homemade cream cheese. Philadelphia cream cheese at a 'bagel place' is embarrassing, in my opinion. Overall, I appreciate family-run businesses, but too many cons for me. I won't be back.

Yummy but at a cost. It's $1 extra for egg specials after 11, on weekends, and on holidays (the prices are still reasonable though). It's also $1.25 extra for their specialty cream cheese, which to me should be standard like many other bagel places. The alternative, a little package of Philadelphia cream cheese was a bit strange to me (packaged syrup, too). The worst part, though, is what I've seen other Yelpers call an environmental nightmare- everything on plastic or styrofoam- even the coffee :-/ We got one of the egg specials with hash browns and a bagel (didn't taste like anything special) and the challah French toast (grilled- really yummy). Otherwise, the place is clean and the service was very friendly. There is a nice, wide selection of food from eggs, to challah French toast, matzoh brie, blintzes, and deli sandwiches. I probably won't go back though because the plastic bothers me that much.

The place is beautiful, clean, food OK average & service OK. But I cannot give them more than a 1 star rating & cannot go back due to Styrofoam everywhere. Even the coffee is in Styrofoam.

In my mind, I can still see Marion standing outside with her clip board. Ok, that was 35yrs ago, but its still such a strong memory. This restaurant is an institution. If we werent eating here, we were taking bagels, lox and cream cheese to go for our Sundays at home. Breakfast is cheap, fast and good. These arent my favorite bagels anymore( The Sage in Hallandale is), but its still great. Cant wait to go back and try it again.

I wanted to get some to-go since I didn't want to eat hotel food. I put my order in and then realized this place is cash only so I quickly went to the bank while my food was being cooked, it worked out perfectly as my food was ready right when I walked in with my cash in hand. I recommend the grilled french toast, its a big order so you can definitely share it with someone else. I'm glad I found this place on yelp

It's a cute little neighborhood breakfast spot. Fresh modern decor. Food is tasty and bagel are fresh. Friendly service maybe a few too many employees on staff. Major downfall coffee is served in papercups and food on plastic plates and you eat with plasticware.

I used to frequent this "mom and pop" breakfast joint for many years. They were closed for some time, then reopened, and I drove by today thinking I hadn't brought bagels home for the family in some time, so I pulled in. The bagels were STALE AND OLD AND TASTELESS!! I was and still am in shock. I would buy fresh and chewy bagels at Einsteins any time over these! I stopped by at 8 a.m. on a weekday and the bagels should have been fresh, soft and warm, not cold and stale. What happened, Marian's Bagels?

    (1)
  • Meghan S.

Been craving a good bagel for a few weeks and decided to check this place out. I went on a random weekday around 11 so I was immediately helped. At the counter I ordered a scooped out, toasted whole wheat bagel with salmon cream cheese. The bagel itself was pretty good but I wasn't a huge fan of the salmon cream cheese - it was pretty salty and I'm frequent eater of nova and lox but I couldn't finish the bagel because the salmon was so salty. Would go there again but would try something different on the bagel.

Disclaimer: Everything is served in disposable serve ware....plates, cups, knives, forks, ......everything. Good for: germ-o-phobes/ Kosher for Passover/ those oblivious to our contribution to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch Bad for: folks who are conscious & wary of waste impact (Ir)regardless, the bottom line is, it's good food, fast. You know I love me a good diner, and Marian's would probably make my top 5 in Broward. Note: You can run in and grab bagels by the dozen or single, and in the refrigerated case is about 4 shelves of house made schmear, you name it, they have it. My usual: 2 eggs over easy, home fries, bacon (although, I recommend the ham, the bacon is something you would find in Dennys...but I can't help it, my default is just set to say bacon)...they run out of bialys early, so spring for whatever bagel they have in the glass case (sesame, naturally) and always, ALWAYS upgrade yourself to the $1.50 lox and schmear.....(best thing your lips will have touched, contingent upon prior adventures/activities to arrival.) Annnnd....the coffee...when they served it to me the first time, I started looking for my seatbelt thinking I was in an airplane, no joke. As per previous, everything is plastic. The contraption that the cup is held in makes you nervous, because you wonder what is holding your hot coffee in place...and if you hold it too tight, will it all break apart like a puzzle all over your lap, face, and table? Too much thinking. Good eats, good service.

I'm very sorry to report this restaurant is closing July 1st. Such a fun local restaurant and love their tuna. We will surely miss this place.

Marian's Bagels just reopened. It was previously Marian's Bagel Host. The new interior is a great improvement. The food is just as good as it used to be. They even still give bagels tied to a string to children. According to my family the tuna melts are still amazing, I still do not like tuna melts. My favorite is the breakfast food which is great.

Incredible food & professional staff. We stumbled upon this place and so happy we did! We were seated quickly and the staff was full of suggestions on the menu sense it was our first time. The bagels and custom spreads were delicious. This was our first of many visits & I'd highly recommend it!

Great breakfast for cheap! Arrived around 12:15pm and was seated immediately. The waitress was a little rushy with taking our orders and giving us the bill, while we were still eating(which I found rude). We ate two eggs over easy, hash-browns, everything bagel with cream cheese and chocolate chip pancakes. All yummy, left satisfied and not overstuffed.

My husband and I eat at Marian's every Saturday morning. The staff is so sweet and can't do enough for you. They know everybody by name and treat families like one of their own. I love the salmon spread, there is so much "lox" in the cream cheese like I have never ever had before. Cheryl is a doll, she runs the show and always has a smile on her face. The bagles are outstanding, we always purchase enough for the week. Clean, clean clean....from the tables to the restrooms. The best place in town! Pam and Jerry

Just accept your fate that you are about to pig out on delicious bagels, fluffy omelets, mouthwatering chocolate pancakes, and the best cream cheese you will ever stuff in your mouth. Turn away from Dunkin donuts and Waffle House and do yourself a favor by eating breakfast here. Great coffee and wait staff also!

This is a great place to bring your family to eat. The food is great and it is just a comfortable and welcoming place to go. The food quality is consistent. Some of our favorite memories eating there were watching our child in a high chair eat their free bagel on a string. They tie it so it can't fall. Pretty funny. The staff is loyal and has been there for ages. Best breakfast place in central broward.

Small place and only takes cash..that's why its not 5 stars. Otherwise...fast and friendly service and good food. I was in a hurry so I just popped in and didn't really know what they had so I figured I'd stick to the basics....got a plain bagel toasted with lowfat cream cheese and an OJ to go. while waiting..I started to look through their menu and they had a lot of things that sounded really good.... I can't wait to bring my husband here on a weekend. Even though it was a Wednesday morning at 9.30am... the place was packed with families and lots of people ....so im sure it will be crazier on a weekend.... but she still had my order ready in a flash! I was actually surprised! And the parking is a breeze.

This is a five star place. Great, fast, very friendly service, great food (tuna salad was outstanding and so was my everything bagel), about $15/person.

This place is all about food. I guess they don't have a license for something as they use all paper plates and coffee cups along with plastic for silverware. What they lack plates they make up for with what's on the plates! As the name suggests the bagels are wonderful! Big and delicious. They are not messing around here. Also their selection of cream cheese is pretty good and very tasty. We ordered the lox cream cheese and they certainly had Plenty of lox in it. No skimping on the ingredients! I also tried the deep friend french toast. Clearly the healthier option on the menu. It was as to be expected. Yum! It's a little hidden but look up the address and certainly make your way here. Especially if you're in the mood for good bagels. Be warned though, it's CASH ONLY. Staff is Super friendly and very quick. I'd give the staff 5 stars at this place. The place is a little small but we had no problem finding a seat. Perhaps this is a hidden gem? Go experience next time you're in the area. Enjoy!

Environmental nightmare - Everything served on plastic and styrafoam, this place creates so much non biodegradable trash, even the coffee cups are one use only, will not return for that reason only, the food was good, service good, and price no problem, but the thought of the long term impact that restaurant will have on our planet had me regretting it all day and today.

I visited Broward County just recently and stopped here for a bagel for breakfast. I came here to monitor precincts as a volunteer attorney poll watcher for the Obama campaign. Unquestionably the best bagel I have ever had. They make them themselves with high gluten flour. They are the perfect combo of crisp toasty on the outside and chewy on the inside. I grew up in West LA where bagels are almost perfect, then I moved to the Bay Area where bagels aren't so good, and then I moved to Texas where they might as well not even have bagels. So, coming here was a real treat. I had mine with lox and cream cheese. Broward county was awesome. I wonder if they'd ship them to Texas?

Great breakfast place with bagels+ in a local Plantation shopping center. It can be busy on the weekends, but the fresh squeezed OJ and the eggs, home friends, and any bagel with walnut/raisin cream cheese is worth the wait. If you aren't familiar with the area it is across from the Broward Mall in the complex with Relax the Back etc.

I have such incredible memories of meeting family at Marian's on Sundays. We would wait outside with our cousins and our best friends and hold races on the side walk while waiting for our table. I fell in love with Marian's blintzes which were so crispy and sweet. During the low carb craze, my Mom would always scoop her bagels and get a scoop of tuna. All of our pictures were posted on Marian's walls and we would squeeze in to our table and enjoy our awesome meal. We had to have our Dr. Brown's soda and we always left happy campers with lollypop in hand. I haven't been to Marian's for years since I moved to Chicago, but I will never forget those memories.

Excellent, cheap and fresh. Yelp really came thru for us here. Really crowded on a Sat. AM but not too long of a wait. Good service from waitress. Cash only.

I was in the area and stumbled upon this through all of the Yelp reviews, and it did not disappoint. Service was good and very speedy. I ordered the 2 eggs, juice and coffee, and loved the combination as I always prefer both orange juice and coffee at breakfast. The juice came in a small shot-type glass, which was just enough. The eggs came with a choice of grits, oatmeal, tomato or home fries, as well as a bagel. What really made Marian's stand out was the delicious walnut and raisin cream cheese.. yum!

Kind of like a cheap picnic. I am amazed that such a well traveled bunch of Floridians enjoy this Bagel place. I went with the family on a weekend morning (when else would you go) and it was cramped, awkward, and slow. Coffee was served in a weird disposable cup holder and when the food came out it was on plastic plates with plastic forks and knifes. I was aghast, because the bill was certainly a ceramic level. The food was bland to boot. There are a handful of better bagel shops in Plantation and dozens in the West broward area.

Good lil' place dedicated to breakfast. A great place for bagels in South Florida for sure! Other than the bagels, nothing is outstanding, but it makes up for it by not having anything truly bad either. You get a down-home feeling when you come here, from the mixed-age waitstaff, to the decor, to the "WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS" signs. On to the food. The coffee is nothing out of the ordinary save for the cup it's served in. The Western Omelet, while decent sized and good looking needed some help in the form of salt & pepper to make it less tasteless. On a separate occasion I had 2 Eggs with Corned Beef Hash which was pretty good. The home fries are once again undistinguished and seem to be inconsistent from one visit to another - on my second visit they contained much larger chunks, which were a welcomed variation. The bagels are great, they come with butter, cream cheese and jelly, reduced fat cream cheese being extra. Prices are reasonable, a good value in South Florida - 2 people can get an omelet, including a bagel and coffee, for about $20. My star rating explained: you will find my ratings about a star below the average reviewer's. My 4s tend to be other people's 5s, and so forth. Yelp doesn't allow for half stars so, depending on my overall experience, I'll either round up or down. I also take into consideration the relative overall food quality of the geographic area. This particular place is a 3.5 star, the extra 0.5 star and round up to 4 stars is for having garlic bagels. A tip for non- x-New Yorkers: that's the litmus test for any place that pretends to know bagels.

I didn't really appreciate this kind of place growing up in the burbs of Ft. Lauderdale. But, having spent significant portions of my adult life in lots of places, and lots of places with Jews, I have to say that this is a highlight of SoFl. You get eggs, homefries and a bagel for like $2. And, it's all really yummy, served with an old lady with sass, in a fun and dirty environment. This place has coffee cups like they used to use on the old airplanes. I don't even know where they get them. The bagels here are awesome! The wait is long, but worth it.

I came to this shop with a menorah on the counter the morning of my friend's wedding. I knew I needed carbs for the long day; man, did Marian's provide them. I got a simple order of a whole wheat bagel and cream cheese. Toasted, the pastry was light and chewy. Allergy sufferers, beware: as the previous reviewer wrote, bagels are made with 100% high gluten flour. Marian slathers her products with an inch or more of cream cheese. To hell with hypertension! The bagel and a can of apple juice took $3.50 out of my wallet. Even early on a Saturday morning, customers--mostly Jewish baby boomers--kept filing in for those fluffy bagels. Marian's does a lot of bulk orders; you can call ahead for those. Marian's serves hot breakfasts, too. If this goy lived in Broward County, he would come to this bagel place five days a week. Mazel Tov, Marian!

I have been going here for over 15 years. It is like a Cheers for Plantation. The bagels are so good and fresh everyday. Everything on the menu is good to eat. The staff are on their game, warm, and lovely ladies. I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. Thank you for all the great years of great food and my little CHEERS!!!!

I was in the need for a quick breakfast the other day and I noticed this place and thought it was exactly what I was looking for. Located in a strip mall across from the Broward Mall it turned out to be a good choice. They only have about 10 tables or so and the joint was packed, so that to me is always a good sign. I was with my 2 sisters and we squeezed into a little table and were immediately greeted by the busser who also took our drink order. It seemed to me that there were a lot of people who knew each other and I could tell that it was full of regulars, another good sign. The waitress came over to get our order and she was very cordial and friendly, The menu consists of traditional breakfast fare such as omlelettes and other egg specialties. one of my sisters ordered a breakfast sandwhich that consisted of a scrambled egg and cheese on the bagle of her choice. It looked a little plain to me but she said that it was really good. She also ordered coffeee but said that it was a little weak. My other sister ordered bacon and eggs and an everything bagel. He plate looked very good. The eggs were extra large and looked like they came out exactly as ordered and it was also served with home fries that looked delish. She was very satisfied with her pick. I ordered the corned beef hash wit 2 eggs over easy. I am a sucker for corned beef has for breakfast and wasn't dissapointed here either. They came with home fries that were very good and I chose a bialy that was very good. I have to say the down side for me was that they serve everything in disposable cups, plates and utensiles. Something about that has always bothered me and it probably always will. The prices were more then reasonable, the food and service were great and the whole experience was excellent, except for the disposable stuff. I'll get over it for breakfast though and go back again when I'm in the area though because they make up for it with the fast and friendly service and really good food at really fair prices.

I went back today to get more bagels. One of the employees told us that the bagels aren't high gluten/lower carb anymore because their oven blew up about a year ago. Now they get their bagels from Bagel Bar West in Pembroke Pines. I still think they are the best bagels I've had outside of NYC and keep me full for hours. Lucky for me, BBW is closer so I'll stop by there when the bagels in my freezer run out.

If you don't mind paper plates and coffee cups and plastic flatware, the food here is definitely healthy and delicious. Egg white omelets are huge and great! Pancakes are delicious. The place is VERY CLEAN. Love the bagels, the service. It can get crowded and loud because of the SIZE of the place. Still, I think it is the best breakfast option in the area..Beware, lots of families and kids for breakfast.

The friendly staff deserves 4 stars and the bagels are good but the rest is YUK! The bagels are good but needed to be toasted more. The coffee was watered down, the pancakes were average and the omelet and home fries were horrible. Plastic and styrofoam is so bad for the environment and every thing is served this way...including the butter, cream cheese---Philadelphia style and syrup.
