Been here three times now in the past month. Got the Pita Trio Special twice. It's very filling. Very pleased. Nice, simple and clean place. Good food. Good service. I highly recommend it.

This place was great. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I highly recommend trying this if you live in town. The owner is very friendly and even brought me his mushroom soup to try. Also, loved the chicken Shwarma hummus plate. Very tasty.

These reviews are totally amusing; lentil soup from a can and its "awesome food". This is a corporate break room with food cooked by people who have no idea how to cook middle eastern food. Tasteless Hummus. It's just pathetic.

This is definitely a "cheat day" spot for me! And you know what, I never feel guilty when I eat here lol. Izgara is perfectly located less than 5 minutes away from my job, so it's a matter of a quick call ahead, making this a perfect lunch option for me. I've been here a few times and elected the same Lamb Kabob, but the last time added a few treats to sample, Lamb Kabob- Excellent! The quality and freshness of their food helps my conscious a bit when scarfing down this huge pita. The ground lamb is molded into massive balls of perfectly seasoned meat. You can actually see and taste the onions, parsley and will so appreciate these flavors. This is a heavy meal, so be ready to skip your last snack and just go straight to the gym lol. The pita is stuffed with the lamb, fries, hummus, Israeli salad with Tahini dressing. I order mine with the dressing on the side, minus the fries, and extra green spicy sauce. I'm drooling all over again, I need another "cheat lunch" soon... Grape leaves- Needs some serious help. They were too acidic and the rice was really over cooked. Baklava- Wasn't your typical flaky goodness. It was more like those honey comb candies lol...you know what I'm talking about. It wasn't a bad flavor, just wasn't what I expected. Will I return? Heck yes!!! There is so much more I want to try, and if not I'll just have some more Lamb kabobs Enjoy!

I've gone here 3 times already and I'm impressed! They get busy during lunch and seating is very limited. They do have takeout but call ahead as it may take time. Now on to the food, we always get the trio (beef, chicken, falafel in 1/2 pita) for $12. Amazing!!! And they definitely don't skimp on portions. In addition, we also get the chicken hummus...yum! Again, huge portion. I've seen other tables order the salad and its ginormous, definitely can be shared. The side jalapeño/cilantro spread is phenomenal. A bit spicy but definitely adds complex flavors to any dish. All the people I've brought here have enjoyed it so far. Great job you guys!!

One of my coworkers is a huge foodie and told me about this place, so I decided to try it out. My boyfriend & I were quickly greeted my friendly employees. I immediately noticed right away how clean and spotless the restaurant was. I also realized that it's a full service restaurant. Which I was a little bit confused, since the name says "express" I was thinking more like fast-food. Since I already read the reviews on Yelp, I knew what to order. I ordered the chicken shawarma and my boyfriend ordered the special of the day, which was 3 1/2 size pitas. We're HUGE Greek/Mediterranean fans & we loved it! The chicken shawarma was the best out of all 3 1/2 size pitas. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. It may have been the best chicken shawarma I've ever had. Of course my boyfriend let me try the other 2 pitas that came with his order. So we decided to rank them.. Chicken shawarma, beef, and falafel. Overall, I was highly impressed. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was good. I can't wait to go back and try something new!

After reading all the great reviews of this place we decided to check it out for ourselves- and wow! I'm glad we did! We tried the pita trio that everyone raves about and weren't disappointed. The sandwiches were flavorful and tasted fresh and homemade. I couldn't finish my food and neither could my husband because the portions were so generous. We will definitely be returning!

Falafel was different than anything I've ever had...and I've had a lot. Fantastic. The hummus and baba ganoush were good but didn't blow my socks off. The reason for 3 stars? This is a fast casual place. Should be fast. My meal took 30 min to arrive. Pretty bad when it was such a simple meal. There were only a handful of people in the place so it wasn't that... No alcohol for those who want to know!

Yet again, without Yelp I would have never known this place existed. It is a bit out of the way from my house. However, we went on a recent trip to Ikea and looked to find something special nearby for dinner. It was about 7pm on a Saturday night with only one other table of people. Hmm. But trusted yelpers would not steer us wrong. Right? The place is super clean and basic, a little more modern than most Mediterranean places. We found out the chef is Turkish/Israeli and the food is heavily influenced from those areas. We started with the hummus platter. Really nice presentation and tasted fresh. I had to add a few dashes of salt and it was perfect to me. We did run out of pitas, so ration appropriately! We ended up eating the hummus straight and added to the meals. I also tried the lentil soup, the bowl is a huge portion. It basically was my meal so it was perfect. My husband got the $12 pita trio with beef kabob, chicken shawarma and falafel. He was kind enough to share the falafel half pita with me. The falafel are a tiny bit spicy, great texture. All of the pitas come with the Israeli salad, fries, and cabbage inside. Yes fries inside. We didn't have room for dessert, maybe next time. The service was attentive, considering it was a bit slow we had to make eye contact every now and then when we needed something. I would not necessarily make a special trip since it is a bit from far from where I live, but if in the area, I would definitely recommend.

As soon as you walk inside, you can smell the food and it is amazing! I couldn't wait to try it out! Seems like a new place, not too many customers inside, and it is a small establishment but very cozy & clean. Izgara Express is an excellent spot with outstanding service! Short wait time for food to arrive, and the food is super delicious! I ordered the pita trio which is their special and for a great price too! Definitely planning to visit this location again soon and try out their other plates! If you happen to be in the area I definitely recommend trying this location out!

Im from Egypt and I am in a constant search for food that reminds me of home. This food was super FRESH and delicious. Hummus was great and falafel was hot and cripsy! I would go back for sure if I had cravings for middle eastern food. The service is great, very nice young gentleman servicing us. They have only been open for 5 months and are doing well, if your in the area you should definitely give this place a try. Only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is just that since I am so used to this type of food it didnt fascinate me. Overall, awesome food and awesome service!

This place is great! They have taken over Bamboo Noah's and are doing it right. Nothing like fresh local middle eastern food. The service was very friendly and helpful, a employee helped explain some dishes to me. I decided to go with the shawarma and hummus. It came with a generous amount of chicken on top of a platter of hummus. This dish was amazing and I can't wait to try more there. If you like middle eastern food I highly recommend you try here! Bonus: if you like it spicy ask for the spicy green sauce!

Crazy delicious! I just love when Yelp helps me find new and exciting forms of protein for lunch! Lately I have been feeling like I am in a rut of mediocrity. I had that old song stuck in my head, "Is that all there is?" Sorry, if you were born after 1975, you probably don't know that song, unless your parents tortured you with it, like I did to my kids. Sorry guys, you will get to pay it forward to your own kids some day. Where was I? Oh, yes, my rut. Well, I can confidently say now that the rut is over! I found this little piece of Heaven as I ventured into Plantation in Yelp the other day. The name threw me off a little bit as it almost sounded Asian to me. I was intrigued to find it served Middle Eastern food. That is one cuisine that I have had limited exposure to, so I was game to give it a try. Seeing all the great reviews for this place got me thinking I made a great decision. I did a bit of recon by checking the menu on the Yelp page where you can choose to order delivery. This gave me a good idea of what I wanted to order before making the trip over. Also, thanks to all the Yelpers for posting some really great pictures of the food as well. They really made me hungry and excited about coming here. I walked in and went to the counter. I could see they were really busy although there weren't too many customers eating in the restaurant. It was pretty early though, but the staff was really hustling. A server took my order and I went ahead and took a seat as I was getting my food to go. The thing that really impressed me was that he brought me out some ice water in a glass as if I were eating there. It was a very nice touch and I was blown away. While I waited, I could see why they were so busy. The phone was ringing and they were taking new orders and more people showed up as lunch hour was approaching. After a few minutes, my order was presented to me all packed and ready to go, and handed to me with a smile. I walked out of there with a big smile of my own ready to head back to my office to enjoy my lunch. I ordered a Hummus with Skewered Lamb and it was really fantastic. This came with little pita wedges and they were very fresh and soft. The Hummus was very satisfying and the lamb was flavorful. Yay new protein option! I ate as much as I could. Actually, I was seriously bummed that I was full. It was that good. The good news was that I had a decent amount to take home to share with Hubby, and he loved it too. This will be a new regular lunch stop for me. It was my kind of place: fresh, fast, easy to get in and out of, and DELICIOUS!

So I have been craving Mediterranean food for a while now but there really hasn't been a place around me house that caught my attention. So of course, I use yelp to help me find places that look good and I stumbled upon this hidden gem! I must have passed this place a thousand times and never knew it was there! The inside is very clean and I love the orange and red colors. The staff ate extremely nice and geez are they fast. Not once did my water cup get to empty which is astounding because I drink like a fish! Now to the food: heaven! That's what it is! My friend and I ordered the hummus as an appetizers and it was so creamy and perfect that we ended up eating every drop, literally. I do have a hummus addiction as well and this stuff was on point! The pita bread that came with it was so soft and warm as well that we ended up getting another side of it for the hummus (and for only a dollar extra why not?!). I ordered the trio special as my meal which came with: a falafel pita, a chicken shwarma pita, and a beef pita. They were all phenomenal! There was so much good I couldn't finish my plate so I ended up bringing my beef one home and my little brother (who is a little picky with foods he hasn't tried before) devoured it haha. I will definitely be going back to this place again and soon!

Awesome new spot to grab a bite not too far from the house. On the hunt for some lunch - I whipped out my trusty Yelp app and found Izgara Express nearby. We headed over. First off - this place is spotless! They have some nice orange seats- wood tones - trendy. You take a seat and they bring over the menu. The gentleman that took care of us was SUPER nice. We knew what we wanted - but he took his time (and was extremely patient) with the table next to us that asked him the same questions at least 10 times. Here's the rundown: Hummus - WHOA! This might of been the most delicious hummus I have ever had. It's a massive plate of hummus....so be warned. It comes with some pita to dip - and once the pitas were gone, we still used the leftover hummus for the sandwiches (more on those below!) Grape leaves - I usually don't like them, but these were great (especially with the hummus!) Falafel Pita - My wife got this - and I took a bite (or two). It was amazing. All vegetarian and came with a nice sauce inside. Schnitzel pita - strips of cut up chicken breast - that's breaded and fried. Also came with a sauce inside (might of been the same one). Overall the food was fantastic - and so was the service. I can see myself coming back here fairly often to get some grub!

You know, I'm happy Bamboo Noah's is gone. This place is great. I had the stuffed grape leaves and the steak/hummus combo. I could tell they use high quality olive oil in the hummus and the steak was good. The owner also gave me a nice sample of the lentil soup and it was amazing. I'll be coming back for sure!

Great place. Stopped here for quick bite based on other reviews. Great food, and service. Great salad, followed by lamb, chicken shawarma and humus lamb plate. Wonderful. Will be back

Service is excellent - very attentive and makes you feel like a valued customer. My husband and I ate for the first time here today and everything we had was excellent. We ordered the falafel appetizer, chicken shawarma with hummus plate which came with pita and a spicy green sauce, and lamb skewers entree with fries and salad. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The waiter also brought us a complimentary sample of the lentil soup which was also delicious. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!

The restaurant has the bones - and bamboo displays - of the former Bamboo Noah's business, but the walls have been painted a rich, burnt orange and have sconces and a few Middle-Eastern style decorations. The counter-person, a relative of the owners, was friendly and polite. The customer area was very clean and the counter area was a bit cluttered but it's a work area. The food, for the most part, was very tasty. But we didn't love our experience and I think that even though the colors are vibrant, the place feels a bit sterile. The space doesn't feel inviting. I'd have given them 3.5 stars but rounded up because ultimately they did nothing wrong - it just didn't do it for me. There was different music in the front and back of the house - I wish the back kitchen music was at a lower volume because hearing two completely different music styles was distracting. Maybe it wouldn't feel like a fast-food store front business if the decor was softened. For starters I'd love to see Mid-Eastern table decor instead of rocks in clear cylinders (the top rock in our cylinder had a picture of a skull on it). While comfy, the plastic orange chairs lent to a fast food storefront business vibe. We ordered the special - $12 for three half pitas of chicken shwarma, ground beef kebab, and falafel. Each pital had Israeli salad and hummus too. I didn't love the falafel because it didn't appear to be crisp on the outside, it was a perfect round ball that was dense and nearly moist on the inside. I'm used to very crispy oval falafel balls that have a soft, nearly flakey interior. We also got a ground lamb kebab pita that was cooked to the right temp - it wasn't overcooked. I used some of the side dish of 'jalapeno sauce' - a puree of hot pepper that I wouldn't have thought was jalapeno - but even without the side dish the food had some heat to it. The espresso and baklava type desserts were good too. We were the only people in the restaurant until another person came in. I tried to make eye contact with her - and even said good night to her when we left but I don't think she heard me. She appeared to be reading something. I wanted to ask her if she enjoyed her hummus with chicken or the sample of mushroom soup. When I came home I found out that indeed she did - she's a Yelper and wrote a review! Maybe it's us - maybe everyone else who's been there thinks this is the best Middle-Eastern food they ever had and that the restaurant is warm and inviting. But it didn't ring true for me. Even so, I like the people at the business and wish them success so I gave them a tepid 4 stars.

I had the chicken Schwarma hummus platter to go, really good food..only complaint would be, I wish I had more pita bite pieces. I also had some falafel and the sauces they provided with tsaziki and the green spicy sauce was pretty good. Would recommend to anybody wanting middle eastern food in the area.

The best middle eastern food I've had in a really long time! It's just past 595 on pine island road, super close to Nova Southeastern University. Started off the meal with the lentil soup, very flavorful and delicious. For an entree they have a special called the trio which is three half pitas each filled with a different protein: chicken schawarma, falafel, and beef. I ended up getting two chicken because who doesn't love chicken schawarma? They were superb! Add a little bit of their green pepper sauce they give you for that extra bit of kick and it sends your tastebuds on an epic journey from plantation all the way to the Middle East! Very reasonable prices and good portion size and great service! I'll definitely be back!

Doing the Happy Dance! Why? I finally made it here, twice now and I LOVE it. I noticed all the great reviews then saw pictures posted from Blue and knew I had to check it out. I am not a huge fan of Middle Eastern food. This restaurant makes me love Middle Eastern food. Located in a small strip center with plenty parking. It is not a huge restaurant. The dining area has maybe ten tables, decorated with soft orange hues, bamboo, and very clean. We have had the same server both times and he is extremely friendly and gives excellent service. They of course do not offer any kind of alcohol, boo but the food is so amazing I can get passed this minor hiccup. The menu offers salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and entree's. So far we have tried the Hummus, which is the best IMO, so creamy and delicious served with fresh pita and a jalapeno dip on the side. I put it on everything, it has a great kick to it without being to spicy. I had the special which is three half pita sandwiches, chicken, ground meat, and falafel. Wow, quite impressive. Each one is absolutely delicious. You immediately notice how fresh all of the ingredients are and such great flavors in each one. They are all different with a variety of sauces inside, fresh diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and French fries are even inside. This is a fantastic thing to order to try a variety. I believe it was around $12. The prices are very reasonable. Hubby had the lamb entrée and my daughter had the falafel platter. They both came with a nice side salad. The portions are huge. Every item I tasted I really enjoyed and the freshness really stands out. So happy to have this awesome place so close. I think I could eat here daily as the food is that good but woah, the waistline would suffer big time. Highly recommend checking them out!

So I was looking for a place to go for lunch and I saw all the great reviews, so I decided to go here and i was not disappointed!!! You MUST try the hummus here!!!!!!!i was so expertly prepared with the toasty, hot pita bread and the hummus entree with chicken was amazing, if you have not come here, you really need to!!!

The food here is absolutely to die for. After reading all the good reviews we decided to try it out, not realizing that it is in a Plaza we drive by daily and never noticed it was there!! I'm not sure how new they are, but the inteior was a bit empty compared to other places around here. The owners must have been having a huge family party as all of the tables were pushed together into one big one with tons of kids and family who seemed to run into and out of the back restricted area to normal customers. Because if that we had to wait quite some time for the food to arrive, which annoyed me because we were starving! But once the food came it was so good I would have gladly waited even LONGER if I had to because the food was that good. My boyfriend had the falafel pita and I had the chicken Shwarma.

Wow wow wow!!!! My taste buds are exploding right now. And unfortunately so is my belly because I couldn't stop eating. Finally I forced myself to stop as I'm trying to not always have to clear my plate when I am eating. But this place was definitely a challenge because of their delicious-ness factor! It's kind of tucked away in this shopping plaza just north of I-595 on Pine Island Road. You can only enter the plaza via the south bound lanes of Pine Island OR the street just north of the shopping plaza (not sure of the name of the street). I was the only customer in the restaurant, at lunch time on a Saturday afternoon. They have only been open four months as of this review (today is 4/11/2015). The food took about 15-20 minutes to make, so obviously it was fresh and cooked to order.....and did I mention DELICIOUS?!?!?!!!! The gentleman that helped me was very friendly. Originally I ordered it "to-go" but then just decided to dine-in after sitting at the bar ledge for about 5 mins. I didn't want to experience the food out of to-go containers. I'm very happy I decided to stay. I knew my Yelp friends & community wasn't going to steer me wrong on this one! I will definitely be back.

In town for business and was looking for some place with a good Yelp rating and a healthy menu. This place met both of my criteria. The food is fresh, visually appealing, healthy, very authentic, and absolutely delicious. The next time I'm in town, I will definitely work this restaurant into my agenda. I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

This place is the best for shwarma, especially the chicken and beef. The pita trio is perfect sampler. The hummus and baba ganous plates are delicious and served with warm pita. The family who runs this place couldn't be nicer. I hope this restaurant stay open for a long time to come. Also try the baklava!

Best food I've ever gotten west of i95. My boyfriend and I were literally amazed with our dishes. We split the schnitzel hummus and that night's special which consisted of 3 pitas (beef, chicken, falafel)... Everything was delicious. We were both so full before even finishing half of the food, but we couldn't resist the deliciousness. We left the restaurant beyond full for only $23! I've already told a bunch of friends about this place and plan on having them cater an event next month. You need to go here.

Delicious and affordable, with good service and ambiance. We started with the hummus platter and it was just perfectly flavored and was large. The seasoning on it was just superb. I had the falafel sandwich and my wife had the chicken shwarma on a pita. The Israeli salad was delicious, as we're the fries on each sandwich. We also had a kid's chicken nuggets which the kids loved. The jalapeño salsa for the adult food was great. Service was good and the place is clean. Great tasting. Better than most places I have ever had Mediterranean food.

Wanted to try out the place that replaced Bamboo Noah's so I brought some friends for lunch one day. We started with the Hummus Plate. I have two Lebanese friends who both make amazing hummus so I was hoping it would be authentic like theirs. Was not disappointed. You get a generous portion topped with olive oil and served with pita. Very garlicky and good. I tried the Eggplant and Goat Cheese Wrap. My friends had the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and a Chicken Caesar Salad. My wrap had a ton of goat cheese, lots of flavor, really tasty. My friend liked her Chicken Shawarma Sandwich even with the addition of fries in the sandwich. The salad was large and good. I've returned for a second visit since then and tried the Chicken Tai wrap. Again, really great flavor. Izgara Express will be a regular lunch place, just like Bamboo Noah's used to be.

Having ate here last night for the first time, we were extremely pleased with our decision. We just moved to this area and are looking to find those go-to places. At first, we noticed it was slightly understaffed, but it wasn't a huge problem as we just sat ourselves and had some time to review the menu. Within the next few minutes, we had the pleasure of meeting our server who is also a partner in the business. We placed our order and were ecstatic with our choices when the food came out. Spicy Taco Soup Hummus Plate Chicken Shawarma Hummus Plate House Salad with Falafel Everything was really awesome. The falafel were the best I have ever had!! Will definitely be back!

I don't get Mediterranean food often, but after coming to this restaurant, that might have to change. Everything was so delicious, including the salad! I got the chicken shawarma pita and that was very flavorful. My boyfriend got the chicken tai entree with rice, and he really enjoyed that as well. We went at 7pm on a Friday night. It wasn't too busy, and there was only one waiter serving the tables and the to-go counter, but he was very attentive to the guests, and our cups never reached the bottom. I would definitely come back to satisfy my new found Mediterranean food cravings!

The food was surprisingly good. I loved the restaurant that used to be at this location, so I figured I would try this out. So much flavor in the food. Unfortunately, being pregnant, some of those flavors are not appealing to me at the moment. After, I will go back for sure.

I'm a fan of Mediterranean now!! Was alway so-so about Mediterranean food, but this food simply tastes great! Good blend of flavors, textures, and colors. I'm a picky food critic and this place is solid. Definitely going to be a go-to local spot. Highly recommend.

This was our second time here. Again, great food! They have one of the best falafels you can have. Great tasting hummus. Awesome skhug (their hot sauce). Delicious baba ghanoush. One thing I did not like was the grape leaves filled with rice (dolma). The taste was good but you do not serve this kind of dolma warm. The kind of dolma served warm is filled with ground lamb/beef. Good service. Fairly priced dishes. If you are into Middle Eastern food, I would highly recommend Izgara.

Okay, so today I walk into a place were I was a regular "Bamboo Noah's" since it is near my office to find out that It was closed and reopened by new owners. The new owners were literally opening the doors for the first time when I arrived. So to cut the story short the food was AMAZING, better than I could have ever imagined. The owners were nice enough to feed us a feast of different dishes. We had the most tasty chicken shawarma, beef kabobs and schnitzel you can get. Let's not forget the most amazing hummus and pita bread EVER!!! Bottom line is I would recommend Izgara Express Grill to anyone and everyone looking for tasty choice for lunch or dinner. Hands down the BEST... Not happy that Bamboo Noah's closed but EXTREMELY HAPPY with the replacement!!! BTW: I would have given them 6 stars if I could...

Best Mediterranean I've had since I moved to South FL almost 2 years ago. I have been to 5-6 places in Broward and this is the best! Falafel sandwich was delicious! They don't have a small side of hummus, but I wanted to try it so I got the hummus plate too. Upon ordering, I thought to myself "13.50!?! It better live up to these reviews!!" IT DID! The pita is soft and fluffy, and the hummus is perfectly balanced! I will be back soon!

When I take time to write a review it's because the place was really good or really bad and I'm pretty honest. This place was good and I'm very picky now that I'm vegetarian and we were full and content. Everything tasted fresh and the jalapeño sauce was great. The service was good, they only had one person serving (I'm not sure if they always do) but he did an excellent job at catering all the tables. I will Def come back

Really great food. Taking a cue from the other Yelpers, I got the 3 pita combo/lunch special. As they stated, it is not on the menu but the restaurant has a little sidewalk chalkboard by the front door (inside) that listed it. You get 3 different pitas. Chicken, beef and falafel. The chicken appears to be marinated and was as tender and moist as thigh meat, although I believe it was chicken breast. They are small pieces, so as you bite into the pita, your mouth is able to take a bite without tearing anything. The pitas are FILLED to the brim, actually overflowing. All the pitas had Israeli salad inside, which is just cucumber, tomato, etc. I think they also contained hummus (the menu states that it takes them all day to make their hummus!) and they were topped with tahini. The beef, from my taste, was probably ground chuck. It's obviously cooked over a fire as you get that backyard grill flavor and that crispy char. These had quite a bit of jalapeno flavor and the heat builds up on your lips and tongue, but there's no bite. It's quite pleasant actually, and I don't really like spicy food. The falafel balls are small, but the pita had 3 or 4 inside. There were two on top. The crisp they get on these things is magical. It's a pretty deep crisp, but still golden brown, so you know they've really got their oil temp dialed in. The crisp gives way to a very soft, smooth, warm inside, with a hint of jalapeno, though not nearly as much as what's in the beef. The prices seem a bit high on the menu, but from what I saw, in both the quantity and quality of the food, you will get your money's worth. This is a comment not only about my own food, but I was spying on other tables. Big dishes, made fresh. The service is good. I never had to look around for a refill or wait too long to get the check or a to-go box. I will say I thought the food took a little longer than it should, but that may be due to my extreme hunger and/or them cooking everything fresh. Or maybe it was the 8-top that came in before me. I will be going back and bringing friends. I want to try the lamb next time. Looking forward to it.

Humans by nature innately regret to let things go. We are mental hoarders. Food is no different. Normally it takes a forced change to create a shift in preference. This schwarma has done exactly that. I was a bamboo regular like the reviewer above. Came in and received a beautiful offering as a replacement. I tried it. And then I ordered some more to go for my brother. They have finally provided high quality Mediterranean in the neighborhood (I usually head to hollywood). I've been back twice since, always getting the humus chicken schwarma plate. The service is excellent and big smiles. Edit: have been back and ate the lamb kabob pita sandwhich. Wow. Now I'm not sure which I'm going to get when I go. Crispy and Incredibly flavorful meat, but the real winner is the tahini sauce and the French fries Inside

If you don't know this restaurant is there you might pass right by it. We tried 3 appetizers hummus, grape leaves & falafel. We both agreed the hummus was the best item. They serve it with warm pita. Our waiter brought us a delicious green spicy concoction that we added to the falafel sauce & the hummus. Will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

You cant go wrong with the trio! It was delicious!! The beef was my favorite but they were all great and the jalapeño sauce goes perfect for an extra kick. Definitely coming back

Looking for bamboo Noah, surprised to find the new restaurant. Since its across the street from my job I came and ordered the most typical item in a Mediterranean restaurant, the gyro pita. If they mess this up I knew what I was in for...but to my surprise it was delish and very nice portion size. The waiter/cashier was super friendly and offered my friend and I samples of their lental soup. I loved it. It was empty during lunch but it's in a weird spot, Hard to notice. I think it was very good a little pricey by but I appreciate that it was ver fresh and seemed authentic.

My husband and I ate here the other evening and I was not impressed. I have eaten at many authentic middle eastern restaurants and can say that this is the worst I've had. I ordered an appetizer of grape leaves which came out steaming hot. I'm assuming they were microwaved, but never before have I received hot grape leaves at a restaurant. Our salads consisted of very thinly shredded lettuce topped with shredded mozzarella cheese and a creamy dressing. Not so authentic. For an entree, my husband ordered a lamb kabob which came out as slices of fatty lamb over rice. I ordered chicken shwarma which was finely chopped, oily chicken over rice. Our entire bill including tip came out to $42. Very underwhelming.

Very nice service shocked they have only been here 4 months. Came here because of yelp was just passing by on 84 on way to work. Very clean and good parking. Appears to be family run with great pride and authenticity . Don't be dulled by it being empty I, I got there early but the regulars come in for take out and come in like they are home. I ordered a hummus and grilled chicken plate and it was amazing. I have never been to Israel but for today I had lunch there!!!

I am glad to have found this restaurant. From the time you walk in until you've paid the bill, everything about this place is outstanding. The gentleman that serves you is professional and knowledgable about the food and its ingredients. The hummus is the best I've had in the states. All of the entrees are tasty.....try the lamb and beef kabob; VERY tasty and with a perfect amount of spice. Also, if you have people in your party that are timid and not wanting the best Middle Eastern food in So Fla, they also have items on the menus that will please them as well. Give this place a try. Not too fancy. Not a dive in any stretch of the imagination. Not just a lunch spot either. It is clean, new, & inviting. We will definitely return to eat in and take out as well. Oh yeah..... You won't go broke here either!

Excellent Middle Eastern food. We had the hummus and it tasted just like my mother-in-law's, and she lives in Israel. The garlic sauce was amazing and the chicken shawarma is the best around.

Thank you, DoorStepDelivery.com ! Fantastic food Edit 6/12/15 Okay, the other day I ordered steak skewers.. I was looking for photos but I couldn't find the proof.. but they changed the steak kebab skewers. They used to be so yummy. Small, tiny actually, but delicious little cubes of steak. Three days ago or so I ordered my usual, and they came like flat, flavorless pounded strips of frozen shoe leather. ****DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM**** Also, I will not be ordering the grape leaves again. They are like half the size they used to be. Not that they were that big or special to begin with. Babaganoush is still phenomenal. As are the absolutely amazing falafel. Next time I will try the chicken shwarma -- which I universally appreciate just about anywhere. Forget the "steak" skewers. You might as well heat up your shoe in a microwave. They used to put the steak kebab cubes and onions on top of the red rice (which I used to like, but now, sans this process tastes as plain as random Chinese white rice) to let the juices melt into the rice and even though I don't even like rice, couldn't get enough spoonfuls into my mouth fast enough! Oh well. Still the only Mediterranean delivery thanks to Doorstepdelivery in the area. Falafel and babaganoush. They can forget me ordering the "steak" skewers again until they change them back. Take this off the menu if it's too much of a pain to prepare it right. And for the love of good food, don't place the grilled meat & veggies on the side of the styrofoam container to burn a hole in the bottom with plain, dull rice on the side. Put them ON TOP of the rice so the juices flavor the rice en route. PLEASE don't go out of business. Your falafel and babaganoush are second to none. Pay a visit to KABOBJI in Aventura to see how meat is to be properly treated!! The STEAK KEBABS in Kabobji are worthy of a KING. And the MEAT grape leaves are the size of CIGARS. Seriously, I just changed my review of your restaurant from five stars to three. Go back to being awesome, Izgara!!! I pay like $50+ whenever we order (never been in your actual location, we utilize delivery) but if ain't gonna be on point, we'll just wait to satisfy our craving and drive elsewhere. UPDATE: 6/12/15 later that day... Shwarma is AWESOME!! Okay, I'm officially a regular again. No, I won't order the "steak" skewers or grape leaves again, but this shwarma combined with their unbeatable falafel and babaganoush. And they deliver? Come on. Good job, Izgara, good job 乂‿乂 Four stars.

I have been a Gyroville devotee forever, but Izgara Express is the real deal and my new go to spot for Mediterranean food! Don't let the minimal decor and sparse crowds fool you! Really really really good and authentic Mediterranean food! Ordered the chicken shawarma pita and my boyfriend had the falafel shawarma. I devoured my chicken shawarma! Very tender chicken and seasoned perfectly! The falafel was even better and will be ordering it on my next visit! Crispy outside and unbelievably creamy on the inside! Fries stuffed in the pita sandwiches! Whoah! Too bad it's located in plaza without a lot of foot traffic. Really hoping this place stays!

I used to frequent bamboo Noah's but ever since it has changed I haven't stopped going. The chicken hummus shawarma is delish. It is a little pricey, but the service was fast and very friendly.

I never thought I'd like Middle Eastern Cuisine so much ! The many dishes and pita sandwiches I've tried have been super tasty. Chicken, lamb, steak, seasoning, hummus, really blend so nicely. My kids like this place just as much. Michael and Ofer (the owners), are great our kids. Izgara was once a pleasant surprise. Now it's become one of our favorite places to go.

After reading all the magnificent reviews I couldn't wait to try Izgara Express which is located at the old Bamboo Noah's location. I finally made if over here with a co-worker, the layout and decor still looks like Bamboo Noah's, however instead of ordering at the counter you sit and order at your table from a menu. Maybe this was an off-day, but our server was a bit odd, not rude but just awkward. My friend had to ask twice for his coke, I ordered the Lentil soup which the server highly recommended, I found it to be bland of flavor and way too salty. We each ordered the lunch special pita trio which consists of a 3-1/2 stuff pitas of each beef, chicken and falafel, the server only brought out 1 order instead of 2 thinking we were sharing, getting the 2nd one took a while. The 1/2 pitas are small, the meat was a bit chewy and mostly lacking flavor, although the actual falafel was tasty. I thought it was overpriced for the quality and portion. Overall, disappointing experience, probably won't return. Food 2.5 Service 2.5 Location 3.5

Super. Duper. Delicious!! Found this place through Yelp and you all didn't lead me astray! Saturday evening, around 5pm. Place was deserted and that made me a bit nervous but it looked nice and Yelp was so adamantly in love with the restaurant so I thought I'd give it a go. Very nice waiter/owner/host? He was the only one in the front. He sat me down and I asked to get the stuffed grape leaves appetizer while I waited for my party. Everyone arrived and the grape leaves were a nice snack. I had seen the "Trio" pictures on Yelp and knew that's what I was going to order - luckily because it isn't on the menu! I'm so glad I looked at the pictures here, first. :D The others at my table also got the Trio and one got the chicken shawarma pita. The food took a little while to arrive but man, was it worth it! I never knew I had been eating inferior pitas before this!! How do they make their particular pita so delicious? They are really great. The meat and the sauces were spot on and very flavourful. EVERYONE at the table was happy and that includes my incredibly picky, complain-y Mother. Also, the 3 pitas look small but they are *packed* full and I am still stuffed hours later. I could have shared the meal with someone it was so much. I will definitely be back again, even though it's a bit of a drive for me. It was extremely tasty!

4.5 Stars Heard about this place on Yelp of course. Came for brunch on a Sat, right before noon. The place was empty but had gotten such great reviews in Yelp; we were giving it a try. The location is a good size. Lots of seating. Bright and the decor was nice. The waiter seated us and provided us with water right away. We ordered the hummus as an appetizer and it was VERY good! It was served with little pita bread that was soft and warm; fresh out the oven. This was a nice surprise because most places serve hummus with hard chips. We ordered the pita trio to share as a meal. Came with chicken, beef, and falafel. The pitas were amazing! They may look small, but they were packed and left us full. I can't choose which I liked better. They were stuffed with hummus, onion, tomato, cucumber, fries, meat, and sauce. Deff one of the best pitas I've ever had. I would like to come back and try a signature dish to really get a feel for the food. For a quick and delicious lunch this will not disappoint. Everything was cooked to order and tasted so fresh! We will be back for sure!

I just got home with my takeout and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food. I got the lamb platter and it has a nice spiciness so the dogs can beg all night long, but I'm not sharing. There is a large portion of rice along with a salad. I will definitely go back. Now, kindly excuse me while I finish my dinner.

So I went in today with my mom and lets just say we will be going back. It was delicious and the service was great. What more could you want really? Our server, whose name I can't remember, not related to his service but more my horrible memory, was amazing. He was really working. Everything came out in a timely matter, and it was really good. Go. Just go. We did and don't regret it at all. Enjoy

Unless you like a pita that is filled with fries then this is the place for you. $11 gets you a pita with chewy meat and filled half with fries ha! Nice way to fill the pita up. Smh. Gyroville in the fountains is way better, better quality and prices, and they dont add a handful of FRIES to your sandwich. Lol

This is my second time coming here. The first was an accident because I wanted Bamboo Noah's but apparently they sold! Surprise, surprise..but this place is really excellent. I'm glad to see it's getting good reviews. The food is fresh and really tasty. The guy at the front gave me a sample of the lentil soup and a glass of water while I waited for my take out food. I thought that was really nice and the soup is sooo good. I'm excited this place is here, I think it will do well. Yummy food ;)

Amazing food and hospitality! Free bowl of lentil soup while waiting for hummus appetizer. The trio special of the day was amazing: three half pitas stuffed to the brim with chicken shawarma, beef kabob, and falafel, not to mention a hefty amount of veggies, fries, and hummus! Enormous selection of well-priced Mediterranean dishes and a convenient location. Absolutely love this place!

Followed Yelp to another excellent establishment. Igzara provided a delicious and wholesome chicken shawarma that was hot and fresh. I did not eat in but for the 10 mins that I waited for my order to go I was welcomed with a nice glass of ice water. I cannot wait to go back again!

Loved this place. Was staying at the Marriott renaissance (which was a short walk from the hotel) and ordered the falafel hummus meal. It was super fresh and enough for two people. We had ordered takeout and enjoyed the meal in our hotel room.
