For being a casual small restaurant the food is good. They have a decent selection of sushi and very Thai food. Their sushi is good but not the best. I guess you can't expect prime quality for their prices. Most of the time we order and have the food deliver. This is a plus for a sushi/Thai place. Their delivery does take a very long time so if you are really hungry, picking up the food will be your best option. We will definitely keep ordering from here for their delivery convenience but definitely won't go our of our way when craving a good piece of sushi.

Great food. So glad they have authentic yaki udon noodles. The Phoenix roll is great too.

8/14/15- Ordered take out from here a few times before, but this was my 1st dine in experience. We were greeted right away and seated us on a booth. We ordered edamame, and the steamed dumplings for an appetizer. They have an extensive menu, plenty of options. We decided on the dragon roll and the beauty and the beast roll with Sapporo Beer. The food came out right away. The rolls are big, fresh and the right amount of ingredients and rice. We left here feeling pretty full. The place is in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking spots. They have T.V's all over the restaurant. Service was great too.

Wow! That's all I should say, but of course I'll say much more. First off I want everyone to know that we live way up North in WPB and was in coconut creek on business and thought we should check out this restaurant. Actually I thought plantation was a lot closer than it was and we almost turned around and went home, but we hadn't had good Thai in a while so decided to continue. We invited the kids (who live all the way east) just after wok to join us. 冗. So they came from way east and we came from up north! And we would do it again and again. The food was superb! Seriously, we have eaten Thai all over the world- this was just as good as the best we ever had. I loved the tum kah soup. Creamy sour fragrant and delicious. Full of authentic ingredients. Kaffir leaves, galangal lemon grass mushrooms etc. everyone helped me finish it off in seconds. Oh, they start you off with hot towels and this fantastic pickled fruit salad. The staff was lovely constantly filling our glasses and being extremely attentive and personable. K ordered the whole fish in red curry super hot, it was not just tasty but also beautiful and the snapper even had an umbrella for decoration. I always try the pad Thai whenever we try a new place. There was so much no way I finished it. Lunch tomorrow! the bill came along with freshly fried donuts in vanilla sauce (OMG to die for you have to order them!). And because it was our first time they gave us little sumo wrestlers !! I felt as full as one that's for sure. So worth the trip! If you are reading this you have to drive fly take a train cab whatever and go eat here! It's great you will not regret it.

This is an amazing find in a Publix shopping center in Plantation. My daughter and I found this spot on Yelp after a show at the BB&T Center. It deserved its rave reviews. The restaurant appears very clean and attractive. Unfortunately, in their quest to make everyone happy they have three flat screen TVs going. The television and an incongruous soundtrack aren't assets to the restaurant, but the food makes up for it. I would prefer no television and a soundtrack that reflected the food rather than pop culture, but hey, I'm getting old. The small complimentary serving of a pickled cucumber and fruit salad is so good, we thought of ordering it as a side dish. When we commented on it to the waitress she brought us more. Nice, friendly touch from nice friendly servers. The Tom Kha soup was very good. Flavorful and just the right balance of coconut milk for a luscious mouth feel. I have eaten this soup all over the country and while this isn't the best I've had, it was damn good. We ordered the Red Curry Fish and were dazzled by it. Order it. You will be glad you did. The fish was light and perfectly cooked and the sauce was well balanced and velvety. Fantastic. This dish gets five stars. The volcano chicken was moist, crispy and the vegetables it was nestled over were crisp and fresh. The sauce was flavorful but a bit too thin. Still really good. Four stars here. The soba noodle stir fry was a mere shadow compared to the other two dishes so it went home as leftovers and a bit of kicking up. It wasn't bad, we were just too stuffed to eat another bite. All in all, I look forward to dining there again. We've been in Broward County for three days and it was the best food we've eaten so far - by far.

Definitely a hidden treasure tucked away in Plantation. I tend to be a little weary when it comes to fusion places. I still don't understand the concept of pairing up Thai and Japanese cuisine (they're so different in style and flavor profiles), much less adding a Laos touch on top of that. But I would say that I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service here. As usual, I was craving sushi after completing a grueling work out with my boyfriend (damn you tabata). So I whipped out my trust Yelp app and found Amazing Asian Bistro. At first the name threw me off because from previous experiences, whenever a restaurant clumped Asian cuisine under the one huge umbrella, it was usually a disaster. Not all Asian food is the same (Chinese vs. Thai vs. Japanese vs. Korean vs. Vietnamese, etc.) just as how not all European food is the same (French vs. Italian vs. Portuguese vs. German, etc.). However, I saw that Amazing Asian Bistro had pretty good reviews. I then read a few reviews and skimmed through the pictures. I figured what did I have to lose? I was hungry; this place was near by; and it seemed to sit well with my fellow Yelpers. My boyfriend and I walked in and were seated promptly. We took a few minutes to read through the menus and decided on ordering their Kizzy Roll (special that was posted up front), Heavenly Noodle, and Rice Cracker Wrap. The Kizzy Roll was on point. It was a shrimp tempura roll with tuna and avocado poke on top for half the roll and a spicy crab mix on top for the other half. I was pleased at how crisp the shrimp was inside and how fresh the tuna and avocado were. I would have liked the spicy crab to be a little spicier but it was delicious nonetheless. The Heavenly Noodle dish tasted like a blast from the past. I'm half Chinese and half Filipino, but this Laotian dish tasted like something I've had during my childhood. The broth was slightly sweet and very savory. The noodles were chewy and oh so glutinous (as in the rice). We chose the pork belly to go with the soup and it was nicely roasted and the crispness added a nice textural contrast to the chewy noodles. The Rice Cracker Wrap is not for the faint of heart. It's packed with flavor from the fresh ginger, onions, and fish sauce. The burnt rice pieces and peanuts were an awesome touch, and everything was mellowed out by eating it with fresh lettuce. Can you tell that I enjoyed myself here? LOL. I'm hoping to come back soon to try out all their other dishes. I'm still skeptical about fusion restaurants, but who knows. Amazing Asian Bistro might change my mind.

Just came back to try the Fresh Noodle Soup made with homemade noodles in traditional Laos broth. You can choose pork belly or chicken. I had the chicken. Wow!!! I loved it!!! Will be back for this soup often!

Since I started working in plantation, I have been exploring all the new places to eat for lunch. Invited by a coworker, Amazing Thai Sushi is awesome. The lunch deals are perfect compared to other sushi spots. To demonstrate how much I like this place, I have been here more than 10 times in a short period of time... I love my sushi! Staff is great and never overcrowded during lunch time.

I have had Amazing Asian on my radar for a while, my Thai go to in Plantation is Thai Meal but I wanted to give Amazing Asian Bistro a try. The restaurant is located in the Publix Shopping Plaza on Cleary, the restaurant has several booths and the decor is bright and modern with several large TVs through out the restaurant, I found it comfortable and clean. For lunch I ordered the Chicken Fried rice with brown rice (up charge for brown rice) and also a 1/2 a Veggie Roll. The lunch specials are served with the option of Green Salad, Miso Soup or a Spring Roll, I had the green salad which was your standard small green salad with ginger dressing. The Veggie roll was really tasty, it normally is not served with Avocado but I requested it to be added and they did at no extra charge. I found the serving of the Chicken Fried rice to be small, and although it was ok, it was lacking flavor. Overall the food was good therefor getting 3 stars for A-Ok, it was well prepared and good quality, however I like Thai Meal's preparation better. Also my friend ordered the Red Chicken Curry which he also always gets at Thai Meal and he also said that while his food was good Thai Meal's was better. Service was friendly and attentive.

I'm so glad Christine is at this location! She has really turned this place around and the food is better then ever! I even gotten some of my cousins to make the drive over from Miramar, since they have been complaining that the Pembroke Pines location hasn't been the same.

This really is 3.5 stars- good sushi, bad ambiance and bad cooked dishes. The inside of this place does leave something to be desired, it kind of feels like a fast food restaurant and has no ambiance. With that being said the sushi was very good, as was the service. We ordered three sushi rolls and a chicken pad thai. I would eat all of the sushi rolls again: they were very fresh and didn't have too much rice wrapped around them, which I like. The pad thai on the other had was horrible. It tasted old and reheated. The chicken was dry and tasted horrible. We actually sent it back. Overall, good, but not good enough for me to go out of my way for.

I love this place! friendly staff and great food! I'm so glad I finally found a place out west with decent Thai/Japanese food. We started with the Tuna Jalapeno roll. WOW that was so good I almost didn't want to share it lol it has Tuna, tempura flakes, cilantro, crab, spicy mayo and it is topped with thin slices of fresh jalapeno! just delicious! we also ordered an Udon noodle soup, Age tofu (delicious and crunchy) and some Salmon sushi! all the sushi is fresh and so good! Definitely a place to check out!

I have passed this place so many times, going to shop at Publix. Last night I was in the mood for Asian food, I have noticed all the places by my house have been shut down or had rats something bad... So I looked up this place on yelp saw not one bad comment so decided to order the red curry medium, it was amazing!!!!! I have eaten this curry many times at other places and not a single place even could come next to there's. I could not stop eating it. It was so good be I was so full and still kept going... And 5 hour later I was hungry again and decided to heat the left overs and they tasted the same the chicken did not have a reheated taste. I will for sure be making this my new favorite place to eat!!!!

The food is good, but WAY over priced. Especially for the area and in a shopping center where almost no restaurant last. The service was not bad. I really like that all the waitress will help and bring food to tables even if they were not assigned to them. They help each other with refilling drinks, picking up paychecks, etc. The sushi is good, but like I said, not worth the price.

My girlfriends and I went for lunch a couple of times. We ordered red Thai curry, crispy duck, house special noodle soup, volcano roll, and beef jerky. I truly love this place.I actually order lunch here quite frequently and I never have an issue. I do pick up and within 15 minutes my meal is ready and for 8 dollars it comes with an appetizer too (during lunch, of course) I've come to eat here a few times with friends and the service is fine to me. The meals are always piping hot and you can tell they cooked it then and there. The Pad Thai in my opinion is wonderful. The Manager was actually the one taking care of us once. I think they were understaffed that day, it's nice to know that they aren't above that. It gets 4 stars for the fact that sometimes when I order over the phone I've been put on hold and hung up on and the dinner prices are a bit pricey, especially when it comes to the sushi.

I don't know how I never heard of this place before. I live a few miles from this place and they deliver. I ordered their pad thai with chicken and beef as well as the "amazing sampler". Everything was amazing. I won't give it a 5 star rating because I have yet to visit the restaurant in person. Will update when I do.

Me and my husband love this place! Good service and great food. We're both germaphobes, so we're picky about where we eat. This place is always super clean. Some things we highly recommend are the Thai Iced Tea, Tom Ka soup, and Hot Mama sushi. The spring rolls are good too.

Moved to the area and wanted some takeout for the family. I drove past and read the yelp reviews. I decided to give it a shot and walked in. The place was clean and I was immediately greeted. The hostess gave me some recommendations and was very helpful. While I waited for takeout she offered me some water but instead I asked for a hot sake :) Finding a restaurant where my taste buds are satisfied as well as the kids can sometimes be a challenge. Needless to say I think we found a winner. The food was fresh and hot. My kids loved the honey glazed chicken. Everything was good from the sushi rolls to the basil fried rice. A 4.5 star in my book.

I came here finding it on yelp and it had good reviews. I tried the Laos papaya salad with a side of rice. It was good and spicy. I also ordered pad Thai with chicken. Food was hot and fresh. Servers was very nice and friendly. I will def return to try other items, perhaps some sushi next time! Food is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. They have nice big screen tvs.

I was really hoping to be more impressed with this restaurant. The menu is pretty big and they have a lot of dishes you can choose from. When I came in to get my takeout order no one came to the front to even acknowledge me. After a few minutes I finally got someone's attention (Mind you, it wasn't even busy). When I tried my sushi it had a slight fishy taste you don't normally get with sushi. Luckily it wasn't anything bad. I did like the generous portion of wasabi and ginger they give you. After trying the takeout I probably wouldn't come back to eat here. There's too many other options with friendlier service.

After 3yrs of living 4 blocks away, my daughter and I finally tried amazing thia. What can I say but Amazing food. Lives up to its name. Service was prompt and very friendly and food was fresh and very flavorful. Why I haven't been there sooner is my loss. But I plan to make up for time lost and make it one of my regular dinning spots. They get 5 stars for food and 5stars for service. Their sushi was superb.

I must admit I was a bit reluctant to try this restaurant, but after going there within the first 2 minutes my mind changed completely! We were greeted with hot towels and a little fruit, veggie salad. I was already impressed. We ordered the thai sampler which was very tasteful. It was a combo of chicken satay ( so delicious I didn't even dip it in sauce), shrimp in a blanket (another must have) and spring rolls. The dipping sauce was so yummy it had a tangy sweet taste better than any other similar sauces I've tried. I ordered beef yaki udon. This dish hit the spot! I had been craving udon for a while and finally it has been satisfied. It came out on a steamy skillet and after a mouthful my taste buds were awakened! My fiancé ordered shrimp ramen, which of course I had to try as well. Another phenomenal dish. My fiancé was very pleased with the good as well as the service. Both meals were rich and delicious. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They made us feel very comfortable. I must say we will definitely return to feast at this restaurant, in fact I think we found my new udon spot!

This used to be one of our favorites. We ate here regular, before our child was born we were eating here twice a month; after she was born, we were coming at least once a month. We had our favorite dishes, green curry, pad Thai, udon. Then about 18 months ago it started getting weird. Some new, younger wait staff were brought onboard who seemed to not be as interested in quality service as some of the other staff we had dealt with in the past. Often we would come in (with a kid in tow we'd be arriving early bird style, 5:00'ish) and maybe find a 2- or 4-top seated elsewhere, otherwise the place was ours. We'd pick a booth, and then have to start wiping the table and seats down as it became apparent that cleaning standards were no longer a priority for the staff. But what really made us stop coming was... the smell. The place just started to get an odor to it, left you wondering what the kitchen might look like. It was not conducive to an enjoyable eating environment, and on our final visits, it just got stronger each time. Loved the food, we just couldn't take the smell. We miss the place. Maybe in time we will return...

Let me note that Thai food and Sushi are tied for my 3rd favorite ethnic food... I have experienced much better. Actually, the best item consumed that evening was the Sapparo beer. Feedback for the owner/servers: I shouldn't have to ask for the type of sushi in a basic Tekka Maki roll - I don't believe "blended Tuna" is not acceptable for a Tuna Roll. Second, I'd prefer to be offered spice options I have on my meal - especaily Pad Thai. Overall, the food was very bland.

I have been coming to the restaurant for about 10 years. I lived in Pembroke Pines and frequented this restaurant at least 4 times a week then I moved to Plantation and was pleased to find out there was one down the street! The service is amazing and since I frequent so much the servers know my order and ask about my family which I really appreciate. The food is amazing and the restaurant is clean. They have a great lunch special as well. The sushi is always fresh and the thai food is authentic. Unfortunately, I have noticed a negative change in the service and food quality at the Pembroke Pines location.

I have ordered takeout several times and 90% of what I have ordered has been really good. Some things I haven't cared for but that may just be a matter of taste. My favorites are the fresh rolls and the crab rangoon.

A friend and I love Thai and lunched here a while back. When I saw that "Amazing," was being reviewed I was compelled to caution fellow yelpers. I don't remember what we ate. I remember BOTH our meals were horrible. One of us sent our meal back to receive something even more rubbery. Perhaps the reason for the bad employee attitudes was because they had to eat their own food. Rude, curt and just not nice. When I shop at the neighboring Publix I take wider steps so as not to touch the sidewalk in front of "Amazing." Coincidentally named; Amazing it is still in business. No stars.

this place is awesome. I first came there and was blown away by how good the service was, how nice the people were... they have awesome tomkarguy soup... pad thai... now dont get me started on the sushi... I live kinda far (about 20 minutes) and there are plenty of sushi places alot closer... and I drive up to plantation just for the sushi... we visit amazing atleast once a week... and it is the best... we have taken plenty of our friends who go to other places (like raw... wasabi... rock sushi) and they never go back to the other places.. and become die hard amazing fans... joao the sushi chef is one of the most amazing things there... i can completely trust that he will wow me everytime... i LOVE THE KIMCHEE roll... and i order it all the time... the yummy rolls is also very good... as is the HOT MAMA... best dynamite i have ever tasted... thanks to all who work at amazing for making me always happy...

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the area! Nothing else comes close! Usually get the pad thai dinner portion with shrimp (made Thai hot). Love the combination of savory and spicy flavors, enough to make you sweat! A great side is their Tom Kha soup with shrimp, also made Thai hot. This consists of a sweet and spicy coconut and ginger based soup, flavored with lemongrass. Other great eats are the side salad with ginger dressing (large salad for being a side), the Thai donuts, and sushi menu. Have never had bad food here, when takeout needed it's called ahead and always ready at quoted time for pickup. One night was very busy and our order was lost, taking over 45 min to get food (only on one visit). Manager very apologetic, meal 50% off and we were given free Thai donuts to finish the meal. Any mistakes needing corrected in an order are done so immediately and respectfully. Will always recommend. FYI: This is not the typical Asian restaurant. Music playing is modern-day pop and I think there is only 1 or 2 Asians on staff. Upbeat atmosphere.

I can't believe there is a restaurant where I can get both teriyaki and pad thai at the same table. Brilliant! The food is very good and the prices are decent (slightly lower than similar restaurants). So far I've had the pad thai, green curry, and chicken teriyaki and they were all great! Not the best I've ever had but probably the best I've had in south Florida. Very friendly staff too.

They know how to use bold flavors, and when I asked for hot, the food actually comes out spicy. I like that they have a unique menu that isn't the same old japanese and thai dishes.

Went here once. No need to go again. Service was abysmal. Waited a very long time, even though there was only one other table when we were there. Food was unimpressive and did not seem authentic (we ordered from the Thai menu). The decor is so-so, but when we went, they had a really bad mix of music playing very loudly and it did nothing to enhance the dining experience.

So dont let the name fool you... its simply nothing Amazing about this place. Whether its the not so nice waitress or the strange food. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day. Barking orders at us. Pretty rude actually. Yeah you, the short little asian girl with glasses who has an attitude problem. The waiters were cool. Now the Rolls... well... I would never come here again for the rolls. Can you say too much rice. And it tastes wierd. All I can say is, the owner must LOVE avocado. They had avocado in almost every single type of roll. Minus the Kimchee roll (conch, spinach, asparagus, scallion, cucumber, and kimchee).... wtf is that? No Korean would eat that even though we love kimchee. LOL! We tried a variety of rolls to fill up the quota to get the discount. I forget.. 4+ rolls and get like 10% or 20% off.. Something like that. We even tried the lobster roll. All... not so good. The thai food was better than the rolls but more like so so... yeah... It was an experience all right.
