Another one of my favorite local spots. Middle Eastern food is the bomb! No pun intended...LOL...must haves....the Al Natour platter, lamb chops and the appetizer platter filled with Kibbeh, hummus, baba ganoush, tabouli, falafel and stuffed grape leaves. You WILL NOT leave here hungry. They also give you a complimentary marinated pickled assortment of turnips, olives, carrots and celery, served with hot Lebanese bread, garlic mayo and house made hot sauce. If you order an entrée, you also get a fresh house salad. I've always had wonderful service. Night time is usually hopping but not overly crowded. Nice ambience....great for a date!

Nope, nope ,nope , we went there once before and the food was good but we had to wait so long for our check and wait forever for a waiter . And then we went last night a year later to see if anything has changed and it was the same . The food was good but we had to wait for our waiter and we had to wait forever for our check , I learned from last time so I went up and asked for my check and my to go boxes . This is the last time we swore we will ever go back . Even though they are nice and the food is OK , I don't want to wait forever.

We used to frequent Al Salam across the street and decided to try Al Natour. We were NOT disappointed. The restaurant is very clean, servers are professional and attentive. Looks like they did a big catering for a guest who came in to pick up the food. They brought us a plate of pickled vegetables, a spicy tomato salsa and a yogurt based sauce along with a bag of pita chips, not skimpy on the pita at all, I loved it! Everything was fresh and tasty. We shared the babaganoush, it was incredible, nice and smoky flavor, came out in a timley manner. Then I had the chicken shawarma wrap, it had grilled chicken, tomato, lettuce, pickles and the yogurt sauce, it was so good! My boyfriend had the chicken arrosa, it was light and delicious! We didn't have room for dessert, but we will definitely be back for more!

Really great restaurant. We ordered the all meat dish with spicy rice. The hummus is a sure try. If you are ready for a great feast of food with a family vibe this is the place.

I just loved this restaurant. Before you even place an order, you'll get a plate of mixed pickled olives and carrots etc, a bag of warm pita bread, hot pepper sauces, and a white garlic kind of mayo mix. I was full before the meal arrived. We started off with falafel. Hot from the pot. Tasty. Delicious. Then We had the chicken breast platter and a mixed grilled platter. Both platters were of generous portions and juicy and delicious. Very well presented and with delicious sides. No place for dessert but tried One of several anyway. Gosh. So stuffed but wholly satisfying.

This place was delicious! The waiter was so nice, explaining the dishes to us. My favorite was the garlic dip they brought out with the bread. I mixed that with the rest of my food as well, and it made it even better. Definitely can't wait to come again. Big portions, delicious food, and the price wasn't bad either.

I am constantly searching to try restaurants with different cultural cuisines. I found out about this one via Groupon and as a result I got one hell of a deal. For only $20 my friend and I got an appetizer, two main courses and two desserts. We even ordered an extra appetizer for good measure. Like we usually do when we try international food, we shared everything to have the opportunity to try as many items as possible. I was really excited to try this place because I am always looking for Lebanese. By the way, if you are reading this and know of a great Lebanese restaurant then please message me. The food I had hear did not meet with what I was expecting based on past Lebanese meals, but that was no problem because every single thing I tried was delicious. No complaints on any of the food. Great spices and great flavors. I should mention too that this was not an exclusively Lebanese restaurant. Al Natour features both Lebanese and Syrian cuisines. For appetizers we had falafel and humus with schwarma. Both were great and the waiter was very generous with the pita bread. They even brought us a salad which we weren't expecting. For the main course we had a lamb shank and a mix meat platter. My friend was in love with the lamb. We were impressed with how the meat just fell of the bone. The meat plate was good too. I actually wasn't going to order that plate because I have had a plate of those meats many times before at other Mediterranean restaurants, but this was by far the best one that I have tried. The spicy rice was excellent. The only thing missing was a Lebanese or Syrian beer. For dessert we were completely stuffed, but that did not stop us from ordering some baklava and pastries. On my goal to try food from different cultures, I can say that I have tried Lebanese and Syrian food.

From West Palm Beach to Miami-Dade, I have not had better Middle Eastern cuisine than Al Natour. The service here is great and the food is never a let down! I always start with hummus and pita bread, then have the mixed grill as my entree. Finish off with a hookah and you've had a genuine Middle Eastern dinner!

This restaurant is a nice surprise. Great authentic food at very good prices and excellent service. Try the Mixed Grill, the chicken pieces are so tender you want to marry it! Also the Hummus with Shwarma is absolutely delicious! Have a hot tea to wash the food down - no alcoholic beverages are served.

We came back again this week end ..... called in advance for a table for 20! The service was excellent our server Wali was exceptional and quick. We ordered 3 plates each of the Hummus and Babaganosh and 2 plates of the Felafel as appetizers and then ordered 4 of the Deluxe Family platters which was amazing....the best MidEastern food in the area ....we washed it all down with some nice hot mint tea ... packed 4 doggie bag boxes full of left overs and waddled out of there ..... Amazing place and we will definitely be back again!

Excellent can't say enough about this place. I eat there several times and the food and the service always great. The price is right and the portion is more than enough, always left over to take home

After holding and looking at my half-price coupon for this place for 4 months, I decided it was time to try it out. I guess I'd put it off for so long because it's "outside the 3 mile radius of my home, which is always a running joke in our crowd. I'm glad we traveled outside our circle of comfort to visit this place because we are sure to return. We arrived on a Saturday night at around 7, just a little later than we normally do for dinner, and we told to pick any table we'd like. We wanted to sit nearer to the front door so we could watch people coming and going to get flavor of the clientele. Not surprising, there were many customers of middle eastern/muslim decent, but there was also a fair amount of customers outside that demographic, maybe 20%. Our server brought over menus and the search for dinner began. he also brought over a basket of fresh, warm pita bread and a relish plate of delicious olives, marinated turnips and other veggies. The menu has so many choices to choose from for appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts and we liked that many of the menu items included a picture of the item. I think that helped us make our choice. Instead of ordering just a hummus appetizer, we rolled with the combination because it had nearly everything on the menu. How were we to ever figure out that would be nearly all we could handle????? The dish includes hummus, baba gannouse, falafel, tabbouleh and a couple of other things that I forgot, can't pronounce and were DEE-LISH!! My partner ordered a combination kebob entree that had beef, chicken and kafka ( I know I'm not saying that right!) and spicy rice instead of yellow rice. I ordered the kafka with spicy rice. This rice I didn't think was so spicy as it was just so flavorful. Since I have half of my dinner in our refrigerator, I will have to post an update to let everyone know just how spicy it is. I think one of the things that made me feel so welcome was when the owner, Mohammed, came to our table to thank us for coming and just talk. he was so charming and engaging, he walked us to the back of the restaurant to a dessert counter and gave us a personal and in-depth explanation of each of the desserts in the counter. With such personal service, how could we ever say no to this. We each got a burma and a birds nest and the are just so unusual to describe. The burma is like a middle eastern cannoli with the outside casing made from thin thread-like filo dough and filled with nuts. The birds nest was a small, baked basket with nuts, filling and honey. They were served with our own pot of rich, sweet arabic coffee. The cuisine is much different from what many or most people are going to be used to. It's not meat and potatoes dining. Open your mind and let out your waistbands and enjoy what this place has to offer.

Sadly missing al Basha which used to be in this spot and disappeared. I went to al natour a few months ago with friends and while good, it was a bit of a let down after al Basha. However now I just took out their appetizer sampler at lunchtime and it was wonderful especially the Baba ganoush, kibbeh and falafel. Maybe they changed chefs or just tweaked their cooking. They sure are better than my local pompano beach restaurant, Shishka.

I ate here last Saturday evening. I made myself wait to review it because I was so disappointed with it I did not want to be unfair. I have worked in the food service industry in the past, and do not give negative reviews lightly. That said, I will tell you right now, this is a negative review, but through no fault of mine. Al Natour earned every word. Here's how: Saturday night at Al Natour: Appetizer- Order the Al Natour Mixed Appetizer which contained Hummos, Baba Ghannouge, Musakkah, Taboli, Falafel, Kibbeh, and Grape Leaves. The Hummos was fine but underseasoned. The Baba Ghannouge was forgettable. The grape leaves at least had something in them. Falafel was fine, but I have had better. Which brings me to the Musakkah. The Musakkah is served cold, like it was fresh thawed out this morning. Cold Musakkah is not good. I asked if it could be heated up. Server was fine with this, and then brought the Musakkah back at a temperature that was no longer, refridgerator cold, but was still below warm and well below room temperature. That's just bizzare. I did not ask for another reheat, it just went to waste. Main Course- Meat Shawarma. Now again, everyone has their own style, but Shawarma is usually sliced in strips, its tender and juicy. Here's what you get at Al Natour, the Shawarma was "sliced" more like chipped, into thin, dry thumbnail sized bites, that I would guess were the outside area of the meat toward the bottom of the meat skewer, which is to say, close to the heat source. Slightly burned or dark in color. Dry. Zero flavor, not quite beef jerky texture, but still dry. This is served with "spicy" rice that is not spicy at all. Sigh. The person I was with had the mixed kabobs. This is basically four kebobs. Of the four, the chicken was the best, which is really just a win by default. The other three were underseasoned, dry and totally subpar. We sort of politely did our best with what we had to work with. I used the "just ok" hummos and the grocery store quality pitas to eat most of the Shawarma. She took most of hers to go. Undaunted by what was a complete and total bust at this point, and with me openly wondering where the server was for the past 20 minutes my guest went for the dessert menu. I said, one, I have no idea where our server is. She is pulling double duty as the host, and she's not up there, and she's not around here. I think we are her only table... That's just weird. While waiting for her, some very friendly staff came and took some plates. Then returned promptly to ask if we wouldn't mind getting up so they could look around and under the tables for a lost cell phone from a prior guest. I'm generally a pay it forward person, so I actually helped look for it, and suggested that the person who is calling and looking for it should dial the number and maybe we could hear it ring. Meanwhile, no server. Also, the manager guy everyone says is awesome. I never saw him either. But this all happened. When the server got there, her attitude was fine, and she was polite like she had not been missing for a half hour. We asked about our choice for dessert, Baklava. We were told they were out. Mind you, it's Saturday at around 6:00. The place is not at all packed. Wow. So I say, no problem, just bring the check, and then..... she disappeared for another 20 minutes. No kidding. Not at the host station. Not at our table. At this point, in light of the reviews, I had 20 minutes to ask myself, how did yelp fail me on this one. Of the reviews here, Jordan, who I do not know, had a very similar experience. I am suspicious that he is right in that this is a spot that garners political support for its business, and is not merit-based. As for the anti-jewish sentiment, I can say that there is a poster when you walk in about some events that are taking place complete with a group wearing "end the occupation" shirts in reference to Israel. I am not Jewish. I do not think that should matter. I went for food not a political rally. In this case, the food is either good, as advertised, or it is not. This is a case where the failure of the food was from start to finish, and across two diners. The things that they failed at, like Shawarma, Musakkah, Kebabs, are so basic, complaining to a manager would not matter. Fact is, I do not want to eat here again, for free, or otherwise. Japan Inn is right next door, and if their line was 45 minutes and someone offered me a free meal at Al Natour right away, and 20 bucks, 45 minutes later I would be sitting down to a fabulous meal at Japan Inn. I'm not going back, and no one is going to make me. Verdict: Don't waste your time or money. There is much better fare in Broward.

Came for a weekday lunch at noon. Immediately was served with water, hot sauce, garlic butter spread, and a pickled vegetable/olive plate accompanied by hot pita bread. We shared the mixed appetizer plate which was also served quickly. Everything was delicious and prepared nicely. Will definitely be back.

Great service, excellent food, and definitely authentic Middle Eastern cuisine - everyone else (wait staff and customers) was middle eastern, although there were only a few other customers there. The reason for that, I believe , was that they were setting up for a VERY big function (at least 100 people), and I think we were actually lucky we went early, and were lucky we got a table. I ordered the humus appetizer, lentil soup, and hubbie and I shared a Greek Salad. Humus was excellent, as was the lentil soup (piping hot and comforting on a cold and rainy night), the salad was a chopped Greek Salad - also very good. My husband said his "tender chunks of lamb" in the shish kebob were not tender at all, however, and I watched him trying to saw through them - he thought 'tough chunks of mutton' was a more apt description. However, the spicy rice was fluffy and tasty, and while the lamb (he said) tasted quite good it was just too tough tough and chewy for him to enjoy. Not inedible, just not enjoyable. The only glitch was when the bill came, we were charged $11.99 for the lamb shish kebob - when we'd ordered it, we were looking at the sandwiches page and actually ordered the shish kebob sandwich (or so we thought) - however, the waiter assumed we'd wanted the shish kebob MEAL ($11.99) - so that's what he brought us instead of the $7.99 sandwich. They should ask you what you want, there are three options, shish kebob sandwich ($4.99 or $5.99, can't remember), then the sandwich plate ($7.99, what we thought we'd ordered) and then the shish kebob meal ($11.99) - so for first timers (or well, anyone really), they should confirm what you're ordering. Anyway, it wasn't a big deal, next time (and there will be a next time), we know to be clear what we're ordering. We will DEFINITELY be back - it's a really great experience, and suits both carnivores (my husband) and vegetarians/vegans (like me) - next time I will try the falafel - can't wait!

My family's favorite restaurant hands down. The service and food is great. I only eat halal and they have a lot of options. The chicken wings and kafta kabab is great. This place is great for big groups, events, kids. They do not serve alcohol and usually have the news, Arab music or a sports game playing on their TVs. I come here every other week pretty much and will keep coming back.

I went with some family members, visiting from out of town, and it's obvious families are very welcome here. The atmosphere is inviting and low-key and the place is full of large groups feasting and having a wonderful time together. We had a family platter, which seems like the specialty of the house. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As far as taste, everything was pretty good, with the exception of the Baba Ganouj, which was a little bland.

The food here is delicious! Service was great too. We ordered the mixed appetizer platter which came with baba ghanoush, hummus, grape leaves, kibbeh, tabbouleh, and moussaka- all very good. The portions were large and delicious. We also ordered the mixed grill platter with spicy rice and the chicken shawarma with yellow rice. Everything was good, especially the lamb kababs and chicken kafta kababs. For desert, we ordered a mix of items but the kinafah was the best out of all of them. The entire meal was great, especially for the price. All the portions were large and filling, for two people the food was more than enough.

The food here was actually pretty good! Coming from Detroit where we have the largest Middle Eastern population in the country- So I know a thing or 2 about this food! Awesome! We walked in and I looked over and to my surprise there was Shatlia boxes in the case- Shatila is Bakery in Detroit that is all authentic Middle Eastern foods. So yep I was defiantly in the right place! It took me 3 years of living down here to find this place! The Bad- they are slow as slow can be- BUT DONT COMPLAIN- THEY ARE PRAYING! To think of it that was the only bad part! The Good- food was as close to Bin Ladin as your gonna get! It was very clean, the bathroom coulda been a little cleaner BUT it won't stop me from coming back!! Just have patience the Shawarma was outstanding and the chicken Kafta was great too!! And don't forget to get dessert- they are all AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Their food is always delicious. We have to come here atleast once a month. The owner is on top of things. We've tried them for large groups of 30+, their service was great. And we've also tried them for catering my brother's wedding of almost 250 guests. The taste was perfect as usual, great quantity.

The best middle eastern restaraunt in all of south Florida. I've been coming here for years! The spicy rice and lamb is my favorite. I always enjoy the Arabic coffee as well. You will not be disappointed.

The food is great and very fresh. I love coming here. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. My only complaint is that the wait staff could be a little more attentive as in, sometimes you have to waive them down to get a refill of water, etc. Overall I am a fan.

My husband and I have been patrons of Al Natour for several years. We love the food, the atmosphere and the service. Going over some of the other reviews I noticed one from the owner referring to their competition writing bad reviews. My husband and I were patrons of the competition till we found Al Natour and ever since have not gone back to the competitors. We love Middle Eastern food and used to put up with the poor service and unfriendly atmosphere from the competition. Thank God we found Al Natour to never go back! Al Natour's food is excellent! We love the mixed platter, the grilled platter, the spicy rice and everyting we have tried there. By the way, the owner is very friendly and all the servers very accomodating. Try it! It will be a regular for you.

It's not often that I give a 1-star review. But this 1-star review is pretty much well-deserved, unfortunately. I had driven from Miami to try this place, thanks to the raving reviews. And also because of my favorite Lebanese place of all time having closed down nearby recently, I had hoped that this corner of Arabesque Plantation would be my replacement for that spot. Little had I known that this place is run by the same folks that used to be at Al-Salaam. Had I known that, I would have steered clear from this place from the beginning, simply because Al-Salaam did not impress me one bit. And sadly, this place is a repeat. This place gets its fair number of customers, however, due to the popularity of Al-Salaam being the focal point of the non-Israeli Middle Eastern community in South Florida (as much as Arepazo is for Venezuelans and Versailles is for Cuban - neither offer the best in their respective cuisines, this is a similar case). It is hyped, and disappointing. I ordered the musakkah, and was given a cold dish in lukewarm liquid. Puzzled, I asked why it was cold. Service: "Oh, because I had asked if you wanted it hot and you didn't answer so I just brought it the way it was." Frankly, I didn't hear her asking me, and this dish is just nasty cold. She should have asked twice or made sure that I heard her. I had it sent back not once but two more times for them to properly heat it up (amazing that this simple dish couldn't have been made fresh if their kitchen was fully staffed, judging from what I could see through the kitchen window). I also ordered the stuffed grape leaves. They had nothing in them, and even if they did, you'd be hardly pressed to taste anything. Why? Because they were like match-sticks, with hardly any filling at all, meat or no. Another FAIL. Both my grandmother and godmother would have been totally pissed by now. Then I ordered the arrosa, which I had never heard of before in my life, and I've been to many Lebanese places growing up. This must have come from another country, and while it was good, it was not great because it was greasy as well. But it was by far the most decent thing I had for lunch. And lastly, I ordered the Al Natour Mixed Grill that included 4 skewers of shish kebab, chicken, kafta, chicken kafta kabobs. Result? I couldn't taste the difference between the kafta kabobs and the chicken kafta kabobs. I know... seriously? Either that or they had made too many of one and ignored putting in the chicken kafta kabobs. The shish kabob was kinda plain, and the chicken was just okay. The accompany rice, which was served as if there was no tomorrow, was just very mediocre and definitely not Lebanese-style - no almonds or anything of the sort and definitely not as flavorful as it should be. And with the need to wave to get service for the table that is in the middle of the restaurant, it was a no-brainer that I shouldn't return. I tried to also speak with the lady "chef" that runs the kitchen, and apparently she thinks her food is the best in the whole world and better than any neighboring restaurant - so her insight and advice were largely biased toward her own cooking. Very unhelpful since she would not be the type of person to take constructive criticism well. The odd thing is that while the food strays far from true Lebanese cooking, she claimed to be Lebanese herself. I don't know if she's trying to make herself sound better to my ears or if she had some kind of weird upbringing I wouldn't know anything about. If only my favorite Lebanese restaurant reopened, then I would look forward to make the drive again to Plantation for Lebanese from Miami. But even if friends wanted to eat here, I would adamantly refuse - simply because I know better than to waste money and the drive to this type of place. So for now, and once again, I'm sticking to having Lebanese in Miami.

Just had a very nice dinner at Al Natour with some friends. My group came here armed with a Groupon for a three course dinner for four and had a great time. We were able to order any two large appetizers up to $7.99 in value for each, four entrees and four desserts. They also gave us complimentary pita bread and some pickled vegetables. These things were just ok. There was nothing to dip the pita bread in and the vegetables were all incredibly sour. For the appetizers, my group shared the vegetarian grape leaves and paid an extra dollar for the spanikopita. The grape leaves were great if you ate them immediately when they were warm, but I'm not sure how well they held up through the meal. The spanikopita were delicious and I really enjoyed the cheese and spinach filling. I had the kafta kabob for dinner, which consisted of three long pieces of ground lamb served with yellow rice. My husband had a whole red snapper and our friends got the mixed grill and Al Natour chicken breast. Everything was very good and we all enjoyed the meal very much. Three of us had baklava for dessert (ok, but not the best I ever had) and the other person had the Kunafa (I think). It was cheese covered with some kind of bright orange sweet topping, which was very interesting. It really took forever to get the check. Our waiter was checking out another group who all seemed to be paying individually for their meals. That was fine, but he could have at least brought the check to our table or had someone else help him. The entire process probably took 15 minutes. Maybe this was just a fluke thing, I don't know. Also, just as an FYI, I do not believe this restaurant serves alcohol.

My all time fav middle eastern restaurant. I 40 mins to this place when I have a few by me. Chicken shawarma platter is my fav. I always order the lebnah. Love the free veggies and pita. They never charge you for extra sauce or extra onions or tomatoes. axing desserts. This place is Delish and i wish they would open one in east fort lauderdale.

Al-Natour is the best middle eastern cuisine in south Florida. Hands down. Service could be faster and more attentive, but it isn't so bad as to affect a dining experience enough to be noticed. Very high quality desserts.

This place isn't exactly in the best location and because of that it doesn't get much traffic. When you walk in, you barely see anybody sitting inside and it makes you think twice if you still want to eat here. But this place has one of the best Middle Eastern food and the staff here are super friendly. Their Falafel Sandwiches are amazing, comes in this pita bread with just the right amount of spices and toppings inside the pita. You can order it to go and 2 hours later your sandwich will not be soft or soggy! I would def recommend this place if your in the area.

Very good- my husband and I shared the appetizer sampler and the lamb kabob. It was plenty of food and we still had leftovers. The meat was seasoned well, however I thought the rice would be a little more flavorful. All the food on the appetizer sampler was very good - it was hard to stop eating!

I went here with my cousin and her bf. It was well decorated but I can't remember much else. They had a plate of I pickled olives, carrots and I think beets (it was pinkish purple) which was all too sour to me and looked a little gross. We were served warm pita bread that for some reason came in a plastic bag but no hummus. All the food is fairly inexpensive which was good. They shared a mixed meat plate I think with two skewers each of chicken, lamb, and I want to say variations on lamb and chose spicy rice as the side for about $13.99 I think. I had the Arrosta with ground lamb which is basically a lamb quesadilla but using pita bread and no cheese for about $5.99 which was a good deal. I actually had a salad with it which I wasn't aware made it a meal bumping it up $2 but oh well it was well seasoned lettuce, tomato, etc (typical house salad). We also had babaganush (sp) which was a big delicious bowl we used to dip out pita bread into. The service was nice but unfortunately spotty. I think our waitress came only once to refill our water and there were about maybe 4-5 other tables. It also took about 15-30min for her to take our check after giving it to us, so I just brought it up to the front.

We first tried this place thanks to one of those groupon discount things. We had an appetizer, two entrees, and two desserts. Between the hummus, the lamb schwarma, the pickled veggies, the kofta, and the gorgeous desserts, we were in a serious food coma. Portions are plentiful and tasty!

As a middle eastern woman, I know my authentic middle eastern cooking, and if you want the REAL DEAL, this place is it! I started out with the mixed platter appetizer, which consisted of hommus, Msakka, kibbe, babba 3anoush, tabouli & warat 3areesh. Dispite the tabouli needing a little more seasoning, this mixed appetizer plate was nearly a 5 star rating. DEEEELISH & made EXACTLY like my Grandmothers receipe from back home. I also ordered the kibobs with rice, and it was tender, seasoned well, & the rice with garlic sauce was cooked to perfection. Downside was that the service was a little shabby & the staff seemed to be all over the place. Overall, if you want the real deal in Middle eastern cuisine, this place is it. 4.5 overall rating!

Authentic and great food. If you love meets I would get the "Mixed Grill" plate. This plate will allow you to experience various spiced meats (chicken & beef). If not in the meat mood then I would suggest the mixed sampler. I got both and they were the best. Yummmmmm.

Had a great dinner there last night! Easy to find for a 1st-time visitor, the owner comes out to greet you and he could not have been more gracious! The whole staff really makes you feel as if you're an "honored guest"! They got our order right, our food came out just at the right time, they did not hover around you or "get in your space" yet the moment we needed something, someone was always there. All the food was prepared perfectly and tasted wonderful! The 2 of us shared a mixed appetizer platter and a mixed grill platter and it really was a feast "fit for a king"! We ate so much and yet there was so much left over to take home that it was crazy! Even their pot of hot tea with fresh mint was so good that I simply could not stop drinking it...it was almost the highlight of the whole evening! The decor inside is by no means opulent, but it is very comfortable, clean and spacious. If I lived in the area, this is clearly a local spot that I would visit often...1 of those places that you say "no matter how many times I go there, I never get tired of it". Excellent value...don't miss it!

I just called the restaurant to find out if they are open and I believe I spoke with the owner. He seemed to be very kind and humble. I asked when they will be opening and he told me within the next few weeks and kindly thanked me for calling him. I told him that I am looking for a good Middle Eastern restaurant for this evening and asked him for suggestions for the the Coral Springs or Boca area. I am writing this review because the man I spoke with was very kind, genuine, and helpful. I look forward to trying out Al Natour very soon.

I've been here twice now. The service can be slow but the food is worth waiting for. I got the mixed appetizers both times. I could have shared it, it was plentiful. Especially loved the hummus, tabouli, and the falafel. My son got the mixed grill both times and heartily enjoyed it.

No, no, and oh yeah, no! It's not often my fellow Yelpers let me down. This was one of those rare times. Empty restaurant No menus or water for at least 10 minutes or so Ordered as the waitress looked over her shoulder wanting to be elsewhere. Hello, we are right here! See us? Waiting Waiting Waiting Waiting Where is our appetizer? Waiting Waiting Waiting Get the picture? Here it is! Silverware? Waiting Waiting Waiting Waiting Waiting Waiting Got it 25 minutes later Again, 25 MINUTES LATER we got out entrees What are they doing back there? Chewy lamb, bland food. Urgh. Hmmm thirsty, who do we talk to around here about getting some water? Looking around, no one to be found Oh look! A waiter! Oh, wait, he's busy fighting with an angry diner. Hello? Anybody? Water? Oh look! Our waitress is on the phone behind a wall. Get up and walk up to her. Water? Get ignored. Bueller? Water? Find water container and fill up our own glasses. Should we order dessert? Bwahahahahahaha riiiiiiiiight! Check please! Waiting Waiting Waiting Waiting Waiting SIGH EXHAUSTED I walked out. Hubby stayed behind and reports bill was wrong and they had to figure it out. NEVER AGAIN

It is customary in Arabic culture to welcome guests by spilling a little yogurt on their backs and not offering napkins nor apologizes. Or maybe that is just unique to Al Natour. Ask my cousin and he may be able to better share that particular experience, as he was the recipient of the dairy bath. I understand mistakes happen. But the waiter seriously ran away and did not even offer a napkin. I even pointed out to him that he spilled some into his water, yet no replacement was offered. But I digress. We did order food, so I will talk about the other happenings. We came with a party of 18 to celebrate my cousin's and his fiancee's graduation from dental school. We had reservations and the table was ready upon arrival. Half our party are Arabic, so we are quite familiar with what qualifies as good Arabic food. We ordered an assortment of appetizers for the table, and then we were told we cannot order individual entrees because we were too many, we ordered 3 party platters (grilled meat assortment) Overall food review: B- The good: The chicken, the kefta, the falafel, the lamb, and the spicy rice (yummy) The average: The shawarma (both lamb and chicken). Some of the party very much disliked the chicken shawarma (I was indifferent). Other than the yogurt incident and the individual entree denial, I thought the waiter did an admirable job of servicing a party of 18 while also attending to other tables. Would I come back? Probably not. There are better Arabic eateries in the area that don't require a trip to the dry cleaner after dining. (And also offer better overall food).

This place is fantastic. The most authentic arabic food you can find in America. I'm never disappointed every time I come here. Plus I think every arab I know has thrown a party there lol. Try the mixed grill with spicy rice or the kufta. Both are my favorite...

Our friend from Egypt highly recommended that we eat here. It's amazing food. Our waiter Yoseph helped us with our selections and we had the best middle eastern meal ever. The platters are great for sampling the food. The desert and Turkish coffee are amazing too. Everyone is very friendly. We really love the ambiance and will return and bring friends.

My family love this place. Every Saturday my company treats us to lunch catered from various places. To day it was from AlNatour, I don't believe that we ever finished all of the food and had 0 leftovers like we did today. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the homus was to die for. To say the least every one enjoyed the food. Alnatour definitely made the top of our chart.

Great restaurant in an Middle eastern plaza. I was with family, so I didn't notice time go by. We all went there for my moms birthday for the first time in two weeks ago. It was a Saturday night so, it was extremely packed. Lot of people from Middle East were eating there, it was loud and crazy. I knew right away this is the spot for Arabic food. We found a table right away, we waited about 25 min for our orders to arrive. I didn't mind at all. I give them benefit of the doubt it was really busy. I was instantly in love when I tasted the dishes. Reminded me of my short time in Dubai. It was very authentic, which is a big deal for me. We ordered hummus and soup of the day for appetizer. We ordered mixed grill platters gyro, and goat biryani. Every meal was delicious. Btw, parking is terrible. Park to the edge of the plaza by the hookah lounge if no parking is accessible.

Now this is a classic 5 star place. No question one of the best middle eastern restaurants to go to. The cook and management used to run the alsalam restaurant across the street before they moved to alnatour and brought with them the amazing quality of food they served at alsalam. Plenty of space for big parties but this one is super busy as usual. We went on a Thursday night and it was super full. No extra tables available. The hummus is a must along with lentil soup for starters. That is what I get and then you can get a chicken wrap or platter depending on your hunger level. The platter comes with a spicy rice option, my fav or you can do a beef kabab platter. Either way you don't go wrong. For good purpose the staff does not rush you and let's you enjoy your visit to the fullest. If you are in a hurry you can always ask them to speed it up but usually they go slow and steady which in today's world not available as most good places are trying to get you in and out so they can maximize profits, nothing wrong with that either. 5 stars all the way!!!!!

One of my favorite restaurants ever! I have been coming here with my family since it was Al Salaam and across the street - they have been through different owners and cooks but it is always amazing. Love the pickled carrots/celery/turnips that come out to the tables. We always get the family platter, which is a HUGE platter of meats, onions, rice, etc. Also comes with a fatoush salad which is always fresh. Love the hummus and babbaganoush - we always get these to have with the pita. We always have leftovers, but if you have room, get a Kunafa for dessert a cheesy sweet treat!

Delicious food. Had the meat Shawarma with spicy rice and loved it. A lucky find for me while I'm the area for work. I haven't sampled other Middle Eastern offerings in the area, but what I had compares well with my favorites back home.

I visited with a friend who was observing Ramadan so needless to say we made a reservation for after 8:00 and when we arrived the place was packed! We missed our reservation by about 10 minutes and that cost us another 30 minutes as we had to wait but it was well worth it. The food was amazing and service was great and timely. After dinner we had some sweet treats that were just as good. I am very happy with my Al Natour experience and would be happy to return.

The portions are oversized and packed a lot of flavor! I literally had a fourth of my meal and I have enough leftovers to last me three days! The grilled eggplant dip was smoky and my favorite item was the warbat, a baked fillo pastry filled with fresh cooked cream drizzled with sugar syrup and a sprinkle of chopped pistachios. Service was not spectacular but they did their job. I definitely would come back!

Have to say we were dissapointed. First time here and it couldn have been an "off" night as it was extremely busy. Party of 6. We ordered an appetizer and 6 meals. Meals came out in stages with one of the two kids meals served well before the appetizer arrived. Adult meals started trickling out then the appetizer arrived. By then kid #1 was done, table was full of plates with appetizer crowding entrees. About 10 minutes later we ask where kid #2's meal was and were told it just went in the oven. No offers of refills on our soft drinks and had to ask for water to quench the thirst. Food was ok. Just ok. Fathers rib eye steak was so tough that he knocked it off the plate twice trying to cut it. All in all the previous good reviews brought us in to this spot. I believe in second chances so we will try this place again. Hopefully it will not dissapoint again.

It takes a lot for me to give 5 stars. This place did phenomenal for a party of 10. They have it spot on. The food is excellent, the service was good, and they are fairly reasonably priced. Most entrees are in the $10-15 range. Appetizers to try: Hummus ***** Grape leaves Falafel Chicken Kefta Kabab is insanely awesome. I will be back for sure!!! I'll be back!

I have been coming here for 3 years, eat in or take out. great food, friendly service and reasonable price. Anything with lamb here are great. Grilled shish are tasty, even the fried chicken wing is my kids favorite. I don't think I ever disappoint at the food here. Oh and the tea, love it!

**REVIEW FOR WEEKEND LUNCH TAKEOUT ORDER** (so, if you're thinking about ordering takeout from Al Natour, and you don't have time to read a full review, just DO IT - thank me later :) ) We called in an order for 12 for lunch for takeout, and although we were initially apprehensive how their food would travel, we were really pleasantly surprised at the takeout hardiness and durability of the containers and how the food was packed, so that our platters actually still were compartmentalized and there was no sauce spillage at all. I'm sure my friend who picked it up for us also drove very carefully. Names of dishes and names of those who ordered each dish were clearly labeled on the outside of each container - big bonus; no takeout roulette. Common/shared eats, such as the hummus and the tabbouleh were not only humongous (think a pie plate full of each) but were incredibly delicious. There was ample pita bread in triangle form provided for dipping and making mini pita pocket sandwiches. The cold vegetarian grape leaves were also a big hit; even people normally averse to stuffed grape leaves liked them! I ordered the chicken shawarma platter, and I was extremely pleased. The chicken was still warm when it arrived to me, and the spicy rice over which it was served was fragrant and delicious, and well-cooked. The chicken itself was tender and spiced but not in an overkill way where you're tasting a burping garlic for hours afterwards. Pickled veggie accoutrements were an authentic and tasty addition to my platter, which I welcomed (as did my palate). For me, the serving was huge and translated easily into a second meal later on. The men in the group finished most of their platters, and no one complained about still being hungry afterwards. Definitely a great value! If I'm in the area again, I will definitely make it a point to stop at the restaurant to sample a dine-in experience.

I ordered takeout from the place and I must say the guy over the phone was not very nice. I got there 15/20 min later as he suggested but had to wait another 10 minutes there, which is fine. The waiter was kind of rude. I didn't feel like my business was really appreciated. The food finally came out and was handed to me like I was annoying or something. The food itself is fine. Not bad, but not great. I've had much better middle eastern food. Everything was kind of dry. Since it's kind of cheap I guess it's ok but I don't think I'd go back.

I've been to this restaurant twice (once a couple years ago and then also this week), however I was more impressed with my last experience than I was with my first. My first was still good, but everything was on point last night! We had the fried kibbe, falafel, and hummus to start! Their fried kibbe is some of the best I have had.. I am usually not a huge fan of fried kibbe, but theirs is so good, especially dipped in hummus! For meals, we got a large mixed grill platter with the spicy rice to share with everyone! The rice wasn't really spicy, it just had a nice flavor to it! The meats were all satisfying and included steak, chicken, ground beef kabob, ground chicken kabob, and lamb. The chicken is what really stood out! I don't know if we just lucked out that night, but it was cooked so perfect.. Soft, moist, and flavorful!! Try the meats with the onion in the platter.. Gives it so much flavor!! For dessert, we decided to order the kanafe. We were told they had two kinds, regular cheese and cream cheese, so we decided to try both. Both were very different than ones I have had before, but still good!! The regular cheese one is a unique dessert and really has like a sweet mozzerella taste and feel to it.. Different, but it grew on me!! The cream cheese one was unique too.. I may have liked it slightly better, but both were delicious!!! I am more in a hurry back than I was before!! Very good meal!

I had never tried Middle Eastern food before this place, but I was blown away by how good it was. The lamb and beef were the most tender I had ever eaten. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different.

So when I was told there was a restaurant just minutes from the house that had Authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine I had to check it out. Even better, my fellow Yelpies seem to like this place why with the 4 star rating. We arrived for lunch to a very dated and empty restaurant. I counted just three tables with patrons. Despite being empty, it took about 10 minutes to get our water. Once we ordered, it took a good 10 minutes to get our appetizer and another 20-25 minutes to get our entrees. I had to get up myself twice to get water given our waitress seemed content to sit behind the counter on her phone. I requested the bill and, after 10 minutes, I had to get up myself and proceed to the counter to pay. I paid my bill to a different waiter as our waitress was still behind the counter on the phone. Talk about the bill, they gave me the wrong one. I was so done with this long lunch I paid it without noticing. $68! Once I took a few steps I realized what happened. More time wasted to figure out the correct bill but eventually they did. $22. Better! There was entertainment though as one of the waiters got into a shouting match with a customer... I believe it was over some keys. Whatever. As for the food, the only thing we had that was worth ordering was the Arrosa which was basically a grilled pita like pizza sandwich with thin ground lamb and onions inside. It was very nice. I think next time we will do take out... if there is a next time!

I absolutely loved this place! Went during Ramadan and they had free munchies for patrons to snack on before they order food. They also supplied us with dates. It was so nice. I had the lentil soup that was SCRUMPTIOUS, the chicken shawarma and the halawa which was a cheese dessert. The dessert was good, but the texture threw me off at first, however in the end it was yummy. The service was also nice. I really had a good time and I'd definitely go back.

Hands down the best middle eastern restaurant in south Florida!!! I've been stopping by this place once a week getting there family deluxe mixed grill which comes with seasoned rice, chicken kabobs, lamb chops, shish kabob, and chicken shawarma. Very enjoyable food and worth the visit if your in south Florida.

The food here is amazing and is consistently on point every time. If you are looking for good middle eastern food- this is the place to go. We travel from Miami to this location because we haven't found anything comparable. I'd suggest trying the family platters if you are in a group of 4 or more. Service isn't always at 100%- during the weekend they could stand to put a few more people on staff.

Al Natour has been consistently good for years. The food is excellent with quite a variety. The portions are good as are the prices. I tend to get mostly apps and share the main course. The homemade hummus, babaganoush and falafel are spectacular. The lamb chops, chicken and shrimp kebabs are highly recommended. This is the real deal!

I really really really like this place!! I had the Chicken Kabob (white meat) OMG! I love it!!! it came with rice, for me the taste was indescribable full spices, the seasoning was great that chicken was really juicy and it taste really fresh!! I really recommend this place seems the owner its very attentive with his business besides its clean and you will get good service and good food! :)

This place is awesome. Tasty, filling, halal, and not too pricey! I moved here (temporarily) from the NYC area, and this is the best halal place I've been to in South Florida, without question. P.S. Be careful of the hummus. It's really good, warm, and filling.

The food here is delish! They have every dish you can think of. Every time I have a craving I come here and it does not disappoint. I frequently order the lentil soup, it's creamy and flavourful. I have also ordered the whole snapper, baba ganoush, hummus, lamb chops, Al Natour mixed grill, mujadara, tabouli, and mesabaha. Again, not disappointed. I would rate it a 5 star but it does not look like a 5 star restaurant inside and service is a bit slow even when the place is empty. Thank zeus the food makes it worth it!

This restaurant is definitely the to go place for middle eastern food cravings. The meat taste and quality is excellent. That being said, service is something to be desired. I have been there numerous times and majority of my visits the servers took foreverrrrrrrrrr and I'm one patient individual. The reason why I go there still is because I love their food consistency. Some things to try: appetizer: lentil soup or hummus. Entree: mixed grill platter, boneless chicken with spicy rice, or something lighter try their roasted chicken wrap. Most of the time I do pick up and avoid slow service.

After having been to a handful of Mediterranean places in Miami, I have to say I'm disappointed by Al Natour. The staff was very courteous, supplying tons of pita bread and sauces for our to-go order. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par and pretty bland. My fianceé and I both got chicken kebabs. Being our first time, I got yellow rice and she got spicy rice. They tasted nearly the same and lacked flavor. The chicken kebabs were pretty good, except that there were a few tough pieces of chicken. One bite of bad chicken can ruin a meal. The salad was nothing special. It was actually pretty boring. It came with some radioactive pink thing- possibly a root vegetable- which I feared was not intended for human consumption. I won't be back.

Great Falafel wrap and Basmati rice. Their Schug (spicy green sauce) is also great. Call before coming because on the night I visited they had a private event and the entire restaurant was reserved. I ordered to go.

I am of Lebanese descent and grew up in a very cultural family. To this day, my grandmother is the best chef I have ever known. I grew up in the metro Detroit area with endless choices for my favorite cuisine. This restaurant is as close to home as I have found in South Florida. They have an extensive menu, filled with many of my favorite dishes. The portions are fantastic and the food is truly authentic Middle Eastern, made with high quality ingredients. Though we live 40 minutes away, it takes very little for me to be persuaded to make the drive on any given day. If you like Middle Eastern food or simply want to try it, this is a wonderful place to visit!

My hubby and I are were on the hunt for good middle eastern food and since it was date night, we figured it was the perfect opportunity to try a new restaurant. We had heard of Al Natour but never had a chance to check it out. It's in a strip mall but is nicely appointed inside considering. We started with the kibbeh which was fantastic. They also bring out warm pita, a small dish of pickled veggie & olives and 2 condiments - one is a spicy red sauce and the other is akin to a garlic-lemon aioli. All were yummy with the kibbeh and pita. For our main courses, I ordered the mixed grill with spicy rice and my husband ordered the lamb shank with spicy rice. First off, the spicy rice is a MUST! Although it is not spicy, it has SO much flavor. It is the perfect accompaniment to the meat dishes. We both loved our meals. One word of warning: come HUNGRY as portions are HUGE! I brought home the equivalent of a hearty dinner for two with all the leftovers we had! After stuffing ourselves, we somehow managed to order dessert. We decided to try the bassma which was amazing! Dense, nutty and sweet - perfect ending to our meal. Last thing to note - this is a dry restaurant. Not that it mattered too much but it would've been nice to know ahead of time! I will have to come back to try more dishes and desserts :)

My father went here for a giant Eid party of thirty people last weekend, and had such a good experience that he decided to take my brother and I today. The restaurant is spacious and clean. For appetizers, we were served neon pink pickled radish, carrots, a whole bag of sliced pita bread, a salad, and two dips (mayo and spicy). The pita bread does not go with anything; it would be better if served with hummus. I am not sure what the two dips went with. At the start, I was under impressed. We then ordered two dishes-the Chicken Shawarma plate and the Mixed Grill. Both of the dishes were very good!! The meat was nicely seasoned and freshly grilled. We also enjoyed the spicy rice. It would be nice if they served some yogurt sauce to mix in with the rice, but that is just a minor request--overall we were very happy with the food. Serving size was also great-even with three of us sharing two dishes, we had leftovers. To finish our meal, we ordered a pot of hot tea ($3.49). The tea was piping hot with mints and cloves, and a pleasure to imbibe slowly. The only confusion we had is that Kehwa means coffee in Arabic, but green tea in Urdu. Luckily, the waiter was smart enough to realize that this is a common mistake, and confirmed with us that we actually wanted tea. This place is an excellent place to take a large group. They have both tables and booths, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The waiters/waitresses are all well-dressed and Arabic speakers. The only thing I would change is the service. While it was polite, we seemed to have three different waiters and it was not clear which one was helping us. Also, we were going to give a $5 tip on a $29 meal, but I realized that 15% tip is automatically added when you swipe the credit card. So if I had not noticed that, I would have given almost $10 tip, which is more than 30%. I don't mind that if service was superb, but it's annoying if it is built into the system and service is just average. Despite these small reservations, I have to say it is the best halal restaurant I have seen so far in South Florida, and I had a very good experience. :) Can't wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow. :)
