We shared an amazing and magical night with Patrick at his Thai Bistro for our rehearsal dinner two weeks ago and still talk about it. Not only did his staff accommodate our group of 33 with two individuals with severe allergies, incredibly, the food was dynamic and flavorful and we had a lovely opportunity to share the our passion for great Thai food with our friends and family visiting on the Island. The Chicken Pad Thai was INCREDIBLE - I've never had better. The Curry chicken was also very flavorful and each one of the children who attended were treated with sweet and sour chicken which they all loved. Both allergies, peanut and soy, were easily accommodated and Patrick, himself came to ensure safe food was being served to the guests with allergies. Patrick, thank you for sharing your lovely restaurant with our special weekend and making sure our rehearsal dinner went off without a hitch! Next time you come to Wisconsin, dinner is on us. :)

Great food and atmosphere it's definitely eclectic. My two year old had a blast with the singer and dancing around outside. The chicken pad Tai and fresh spring rolls were wondwrful.

Patrick is charming. Our waiter Jeremy did a superb job. Their establishment is "accessible" only via a steep staircase with handrails too large to be useful for most folks. The food is only vaguely Thai & the sushi is only of the California roll variety. Overall it is uninteresting at best.

Good Thai food. The Pad Thai was generous, the Tom Yum soup was delicious, summer rolls were yummy, beef bulgari was really really good, mood dang pork was tasty but a bit too fatty. Seems like they took pride in their food. Prices were a bit high for Thai food, but a good experience never the less.

We love it here! It's great having a Thai restaurant right here on Boca. We eat here all the time and have never had a bad meal. They do have a full bar along with beer and wine and a limited sushi menu. Try the Jason's Roll, it's awesome! We personally love the Chicken Pad Thai and the Green Curry entree with chicken but everything we have had has been amazing. The tofu summer rolls and the gyozas appetizers are also great. You will not be disappointed. Keep in mind when it's during busy season it may run a little behind, they work very hard and the food is worth it so be patient. Enjoy!

If you go, ask for Margarita, not the drink, the waitress. She is engaging, cares and shares herself with you. She is a local and treats you like your the only customer there not matter how busy she is. The food is not bad either. If your going for sushi, the Jason roll is great.

We decided to go to a Thai place because the reviews were ok and it was the only place on the Island. Our experience was sad. Everything we wanted was pre-made and not fresh! We ordered a vegetarian curry and we couldn't order a Tom Kha soup because it was made from chicken stock. It's not that hard to make veggie stock. We ordered a veggie curry and after eating half of it my husband found two pieces of chicken in it. We stopped eating and asked the waiter if we can talk to the owner and he said Patrick will come right out and he decided to leave right in front of our faces. He just left! His cousin came out to do the dirty work. He proceeded to tell us that this stuff happens all the time. If you call a meal vegetarian I hope it comes out without chicken!! We will not be back and I hope anyone that has specific dietary needs will not eat here!

We didn't even have the chance to eat. We arrived and realized the only way to get UP to the restaurant was a staircase. There is no elevator or escalators. No way for handicapped person to get upstairs. I asked the gentleman how do handicapped people get up here. He replied with Good Question. -__-

We had a very nice dinner. The atmosphere was classy and the food was delicious. The portions are substantial, we needed 2 to go boxes. Will be coming back again soon!

This place is SOLID and a great variety to the other restaurants in Boca Grande. I've been here 4 times and it never disappoints. Sushi - limited selection of rolls but they are tasty! Dynamite roll is killer Pad Thai - Some of the best I've ever had and you get A LOT of it! 2 people could easily share this Basil Shrimp - Shrimp cooked perfectly. Delicious. Highly recommend visiting Patrick's! He often comes out to meet the diners as well. He's a great restauranteur!

This place is rediculious! Do not order takeout! I called before they opened to place a takeout order and she said to call back 1 hour later when they opened. I guess they are not trying to get a jump on the orders. When I call back 9 minutes after they opened they said it would take 45 minutes to get 9 rolls ready and a few apps & 1 entree. I arrive 1 hour later and with a crying baby and 2 kids 1 have to wait 25 minutes before the food is ready!! Did I mention there was only 1 table of diners there!! Food was sub-par. Not worth the price or the wait. Would not go back!

Fabulous - we've eaten there two nights in a row, and everything has been excellent - tofu lettuce wraps, shittake beef stir-fry, chicken pad thai, and cashew chicken. Service is also superb. Maybe we'll go again tomorrow night and try the sushi!....

So the food was good, but not exceptional. However, the wait time for the food was unacceptable. We ordered takeout (3 main dishes, some sushi, edamame, and spring rolls). The restaurant opens at 5pm, and we happened to get there about 4:50 to place the order. We didn't call in an order as we didn't have a menu (there is not one online) and are not from the area. They were nice enough to let us in and place an order. At 5:50pm, I still had not recieved our food. When I asked if there was a problem, they told me they were really busy. I am not sure if they didn't realize I was standing in the restaurant, but there was only 1 table with any patrons and they came in about 15 minutes after we place our order. I pointed that fact out to them, and then they said they had gotten a lot of togo orders. I reminded them that we had come in before the restuarant opened. Honestly, I think they simply forgot to make our food, and then made a bunch of excuses. If this is how they operate with 1 table on a Wednesday night, I would be very concerned about how long I would wait on a Friday or Saturday when they had several tables occupied. As mentioned above, the food was fine, but not spectacular, but I was annoyed at the many excuses they provided me even though I was standing in their restaurant almost the entire time.

The varied menu at this Thai/sushi restaurant is a welcome change from the traditional beach fare. The appetizers are fresh and excellent...highly recommend the seared tuna. Patrick's mother is the chef and her touch with Thai spices is excellent. You will not be disappointed in the wait staff either.
