Absolutely amazing! This is the best personal dining experience I've ever had. I was instantly greeted with a smile. All meals are hand made. The love is in the flavor. The outside is humble but the service and food is excellent. I highly highly recommend to any and all! You will not be disappointed.

Step in this place and you are in the islands. Authentic and warm place. The Pork Adobo is just as I would eat back in Luzon Bataan. If you don't understand the menu, they will be glad to assist. A great Philippines Restaurant with that traditional Philippines feel. Visit soon!!

Small cozy place to eat. I can't comment on the food yet but the service is good and prices are reasonable.

Didn't even know this place was here. Went in and placed an order to go after calling to confirm they were open. Very nice owners and very convenient location to NAS Pensacola. Daily specials. Had the special and an order of lumpia and the food was very good and reasonable priced.

Filipino home cooking I won't dare tell my mom reminds me of home. Otherwise she'd get mad at me, of course my mom's home cooking is always going to be the best but hey those who don't or won't cook it, buy it and this place has it! I ordered the chicken tinolang soup for this cold florida weather we're having in february. It was so yummy!! Just like mom makes it and served over white rice. Just add some fish sauce to taste and down it with a bottle of cold water. It was so delicious. The serving size I think was meant for two people but hey I'll be honest even I let my inner heifer out to enjoy a big meal. I also tried out the lumpia shanghai of course, that's what filipino food is known food sadly, there's so much more than the fried filipino eggroll to our cuisine!! If you're craving puto (filipino rice dessert) it's special order and not on hand. They do have banana turon & halo halo available. Price wasn't too bad and I'm glad its right around the corner from Pensacola State College. It can be my quick lunch spot between classes in the future. The restaurant is complete with TFC on the big screen, fans on the walls, beads hanging over the door, and photos of family and friends of the owner in each area of the place. It's pretty filipino if you ask me and that's how I like it.

Really good Filipino Food, the Dinuguan and Halo-halo reminds me of home. The people are nice and they know good Filipino food. I would recommend this to anybody looking for good Filipino food, better than the restaurant in Fort Walton Beach.

The only Filipino Restaurant still running in the Pensacola area. They don't have that much of variety on their menu like bigger Filipino Restaurants that I have been but I like how the owner, Susan, is very friendly and likes to talk stories while you eat. Very friendly staff. I was here in 2008 and it was one of my favorite spots to eat at. They are open Mon-Sat, close on sundays. You can also call for take out if you have a copy of their menu or if you want some catering service.

Solid off the beaten path place! Susan is really sweet with awesome hair! We had the adobo special which was solid but the best was the sweet and sour chicken that a friend ordered - insanely good! Will be back for sure.

I heard about Susan's at a holiday party and it was exactly what I needed after a trying week at work. The small little house/dining room is a little worn at the edges but, definitely charming. We walked through the door to enter the family dinner hour as Susan, friends and family were just finishing. It was just like arriving at Grandma's house just a little late. The big screen in the room filled the air with Filipino Melodramas and the room was full of Asian/Pacific region tchotchkes. Across the room, I could see a snapshot of Susan in sequined dress, a crown, bouquet, and sash. The menu is not overly large but had a variety of Pancit dishes, Adobo, and soups. My partner elected for a soup (sorry I should have written down the name); it was a lovely light broth with bits of sausage and a fresh egg, bok choy, and thick chewy noodles. A large steamed bun filled with yummy 'barbecued' pork was the side for the soup. I went for pork Adobo which had a wonderful flavor. The cut of meat the used was very tasty but, it was a piece of meat that could have benefited from a slower cooking method to tenderize it. That was a small inconvenience and we ate every piece. I can vouch for the friendliness of the owner. She wanted to know who I was and who had told us about her place. I really felt at home. Two young ladies brought in their dates two guys who had never had Flip cuisine before. Susan and the girls reassured them it would be OK and that they were going to be happy. I left full and happy to make a new friend(maybe family) for $20 two dishes, sides, and sodas The skinny: This is a good place to explore Pacific Island food desires for cheap. I can see why others affectionately look up to Susan as a beneficent matriarch. I will be back to check in and try Susan's other dishes.

This place brings me back when we visted the Philippines. The ambeiance is very local and just reminds me od my grandmas house when we cisited. Food are very true to filipinos taste. They are well prepared and the portion is good to feed 3 people. I have been in many filipino restaurant and by far this is the best one we have visited. I would most deff recomend this place for people who are looking for athentic filipino taste.

This is absolutely the best Phillipines food restaurant in Pensacola. The pork adobo was so delicious and properly seasoned. Don't let the humble entry fool you. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. They do not serve alcohol, but ask what you can do about it! The restaurant decor was very homelike and welcoming. It will not disappoint.

You shouldn't be afraid of the little poorly painted building off the side of the road. Suzanne's catering is more than just a caterer, she's restaurateur. She applies those Filipino skills excellently and effortlessly in the kitchen. And, you know you've gone to a great place when the restaurant is filled with other Filipinos. These are some of the kindest people I've met up here. Just waiting for my food for takeout was offered cakes water soda you name it. The kindness is overwhelming. So let's start with dessert first. I have the cassava cake, that was the best thing I have stuck in my mouth in a long time textually it was moist it was sweet you can taste the casaba it was excellent. Then I had the Filipino rice cake, it tasted just like a moist pound cake was very good but my heart went to the cassava cake. So the staff is stellar and the ambience well it's very homey so homey think you're at home. Maybe that's why I say don't be afraid of the poorly painted building, is Susan's catering a dump or a dive and somewhere in between. But they're so nice you don't even notice it anymore. Now for the food, what was excellent and it was very tasty very very flavorful. I had the Lumpia which is like a Chinese eggroll but it's a Filipino eggroll. I also had the pork noodle Songdahgra. I'm spelling it phonetically and my phonetics are probably way off. Well, both were excellent. So don't be afraid of Filipino food it's excellent and it's flavorful a lot of textures and a lot of big taste and don't be afraid of that poorly painted buildings either because you got some big hearts in there.

A little, delicious secret in the Warrington area. Susan's chicken adobo is delicious, and I found the owner and server to be nothing but friendly and chatty. Their short rib special although not at all what I expected was delicious.

Ah the closest Filipino food around NAS Pensacola I could find. Well the food is great just like being home with mom. Auntie and Uncle's that work there are very friendly. I ordered the Shanhi lumpia, Pasit Palabok, and Rice... Man it hit the spot. I will be back to try somemore or the other dishes. Oh and TFC was on to watch for entertainment.

Being described as worn at the edges is kind. The corroded metal framed chairs with plastic enclosed backs and seats, the red oilcloth table coverings recently swiped with a wet rag, and worn flooring do provide an immediate ambiance. Food was hot and provided in large portions but not tasty enough to encourage more than sampling. The blaring large screen TV in an adjacent room was an annoying counterpoint. I wish I could be kinder, but I couldn't wait to leave. I love Filipino cooking but will look elsewhere to find it.
