Stopped in to try a slice today. If you like cheesy mozzarella bread this is for you. However, I like my pizza to taste like pizza, and aside from adding some moisture the sauce is undetectable. I tasted it by itself and it's hard to believe red tomato sauce could have so little flavor.

Very nice ambiance. The salad was delicious but the pizza leaves something to be desired. The crust and the sauce don't have too much flavor. I am definitely coming back for the subs which look delicious.

Traveling through, stopped by for pizza. A great find! Cheese pizza good, sweet sauce to my family's taste!

Great pizza and grinders. Wish they delivered...but then again of they did I would weigh 500 lbs.

Had grinders last Thursday and they were awesome! Brought the kids here for a pizza and am disappointed we waited to try this gem. Flavors are spectacular. This will turn into an addiction not just a place to eat!

The garlic pizza was amazing! I was out doing some errands and wanted to get something to take home. It smelled so good in the car I scrapped my remaining errands for later. Good choice! I will be returning!

Loved the crispy bread on my muffaletta sub! Could have used a bit more meat, but overall really good. Dig the Zaps chips! Place was not crowded, so good, friendly service. They also have a frequent flyer card. The art on the walls is a little weird for an Italian inspired place, but i guess every place shouldn't be red and green with posters of gondolas and the Leaning Tower. :)

Great pizza and great subs! There's not much more to it than that. They are typically not very busy at all, so it can feel a little deserted, but don't let that deter you. They don't deliver, but I live less than 2 miles away so it's not a big deal for me. My personal favorite is their Hawaiian pizza which has the standard stuff, but they also add toasted sliced almonds which adds a really great crunch which I miss whenever I have a Hawaiian pizza anywhere else. I also order this with feta cheese added... so good! The buffalo chicken pizza is also pretty great, and I'm not even a fan of buffalo sauce! Again, add feta to this one and you'll be happy with that choice! The grinders are absolutely worth trying. There's a lot to choose from, and they can help recommend one to you if you ask. I tried their Panhandler grinder, and it was great! It's kinda of like a BLT but with chicken, cheese, and mushrooms added and then toasted.

Subs are bit over-priced for what you get: rather small, flat 8-inch with very little meat for $7.52 with tax. $1.18+tax for a small 2.0 oz bag of Zapp's kettle chips? Didn't try pizza but looks good with plenty of toppings. Nice clean place with plenty of seating. Outside patio seating available. Flat screens on all walls. Plenty of parking. Right next door is Subway which was packed. Nice friendly white and blonde service.

"That place must be good," I predicted on our first day in Pensacola. "Look! It's a local sandwich shop right next to a Subway. You've gotta have skill to survive next to a well-known chain." Later that day, we found ourselves at Santino's, taking advantage of their Saturday "Date Night" special: for $12, we got an order of cheesy garlic bread, a 12-inch pizza, and two fountain drinks, and we barely had enough room for all the yum. We added a second topping for a moderate upcharge, and the kitchen did not skimp a bit. Every piece was generously packed with green olives and feta, artfully browned. I ordinarily despise single-user bathrooms with gender signs (what a waste of built-in flexibility), but this Santino's has to its credit three single-user bathrooms, one marked as unisex and two gender-marked. This allows everyone to have it their way, whether they prefer bathrooms open to all humans or whether they prefer segregation. The free wi-fi is beefy, too: we were able to upload 300MB of beach photos, sunset videos, etc. while we ate. My wife doesn't usually like pizza. She enthused over the pizza last night... and she's craving a return visit today! WINNING.

Santino's is fantastic. Try a grinder, a pizza, a greek salad, or baked spaghetti. It's ALL good!! Some beer at the Davis Hwy location would really sweeten the deal though. :-)

I was very happy with the pizza that I had tonight. I think Brendan took my call. The service was top-notch. Having just moved to Pensacola, I was eager to have some pizza and quick. This was both quick and full of quality. I tipped them a couple of bucks at the store as I picked up the pizza and bread. They had both ready within about 12 minutes. I would recommend ordering extra sauce, however. It was a little dry on that end. But, the pizza was so delicious that I'm already 3/4 the way through the large pizza that I ordered and have already completed the garlic bread. I ordered both about 34-minutes ago. So, within 34 minutes, I ordered the pizza and bread, finished the bread on the ride home, and already worked through the pizza with the help of my 3 dogs. I am saving the rest for later. Again, great service, great pizza, and definitely a place to take a quick date, family, etc.

Time to call the bug man! While eating lunch today, I had a visitor at my table. No it was not the manager, it was a cockroach. When I brought the bug issue up to the staff member with the colored red hair she replied "oh did you find that in the bathroom" I'm like no, this roach was crawling all over my table as I tried to eat your pizza. Her response was "oh wow". I told her, it was time to call the exterminator. You can see you from my photo that the booth I was sitting in was filthy and appears to not have been cleaned in the last two years! This place needs a deep clean for sure.

One of our favorite stops while vacationing in Pensacola. I highly recommend the chicken garlic pizza - delicious! The best pizza in Pensacola! Customer service was top notch!

I saw great review on this place so I decided to try it out. I had the buffalo chicken calzone. It wasn't very good, but buffalo chicken is hard to pull off the right way to be fair so I'll try it again one day. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
